From that email to countless more over the next few months, Chelsea was wonderful to work with. She didn’t bat an eye when my husband and I showed up two days before the wedding to drop off all of the little items we wanted on our day. She and Lauren from Bay Arts (who was also amazing!!) started carrying in the heaviest pieces (including cases of beer)). The day of the wedding wasn’t looking great weather wise and Chelsea made an executive decision to move our outdoor ceremony indoors. I was so thankful that she made this decision and called me to confirm. This took a lot of responsibility off of my plate and our ceremony turned out beautiful! Lastly, Chelsea was top knot on the day of our wedding. Everything we wanted to do was done on time and was executed the exact way We had envisioned. We truly appreciate all of the work Chelsea did for us and would recommend her 100%!

Maggie stayed with us all day to make sure things went smoothly while Lauren and 3 assistants helped to set up the venue. We are WOW-ed by how beautiful our reception hall was and the entire evening went so smoothly! We received endless compliments on our wedding for weeks after! I really cannot say enough about how calm and at ease I felt on my wedding day because of these two. They are so wonderful and I had fun planning with them and getting to know them as well! f 3 daughters, I felt the need to learn everything I could about weddings and wedding planning so connecting with the best planners in Cleveland was the best decision I made. My daughter's work schedule made it very difficult for her to be present and engaged in every detail.. but for me, it was my full time job for the past year. I loved working with Somer & Lisa and somehow they managed to keep me calm and focused as we navigated through the hundreds of options from flowers, to table linens, to chairs, to place settings, to layouts, to invitations, to food, etc. etc. etc.!! They assisted us with every detail and decision. The amount of time and planning that goes in to this one weekend is unbelievable. With Somer & Lisa's experience, expertise, and connections, it all comes together beautifully. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony and tented reception. We had 2 plans in place... Plan A and Plan B for rain. Unfortunately for us, it was Plan B. Who would have thought on June 15th it would be a complete rain-out.. but this is CLE and you never know what to expect with the weather. Somer & Lisa made the transition from Plan A to Plan B seamless. Our guests were WOWed and in awe of our wedding - never knowing that we were in Plan B. I don't know what we would have done without Somer & Lisa and their team on this rainy day. Back to being a "momager" of 3 daughters... my thought (and sales pitch to my husband) was that we would make this one-time investment in wedding planners so that for our next 2 weddings, I could do it all myself. LOL!! You can bet that once we are asked again for a daughter's hand in marriage, the first call I will make is to Somer & Lisa at A Charming Fête!! XOXO

omer and Lisa. From a creative standpoint, they took our vision and blew it out of the water. Their sense of design and imagination for how to transform a space is unparalleled. They planned the most epic and perfect wedding we could have imagined. They stressed about all the little details so we didn’t have to. They have relationships with so many vendors and seem to know exactly who to pick for each couple. We had a bit tighter of a budget than most, and Somer and Lisa were essential in helping us make our budget go as far as it possibly could. They negotiated pricing, found the best vendors and helped us figure out best places to splurge vs where we could go with a less expensive option. They were there with us ever step of the way and made sure everything went off without a hitch. I can honestly say we could not have done it without them. I would recommend Charming Fete to absolutely anyone planning a wedding (or other event)

felt like I could barely describe how exactly I wanted everything to look, but somehow Lauren got it and made it better than I could have ever dreamed. It was truly a fairy tale. Erica, as our coordinator, could not have been more wonderful and helpful, especially on the actual wedding day. Anything that we needed or anything that wasn't completely perfect was taken care of efficiently and seamlessly. Not only did these two give me the wedding of my dreams, but they did so graciously. We never once saw them get impatient or annoyed with anyone or any vendors. They are extremely talented and professional individuals. I could go on forever about them and what an utter dream our wedding was because of them but I will stop here. I feel like I can't even do the justice with just my words. We cannot thank them enough and will sing their praises to anyone who asks.

orth it a few times during the process but, I feel our experience may have been a little different than most. We started off with our planner Lauren and about halfway through planning our wedding she reached out to us telling us that she was leaving the company and set us up with our new planner Erica. I was a little in shock because when you have been working with one person for 6 months and basically planned out your entire design with them it's scary putting all of that in the hands of someone you don't know yet. I will say that everything on their end was handled seamlessly Lisa was very involved with the transition and made sure that nothing fell through the cracks. Erica also welcomed us with open arms and ready to hit the ground running with getting up to speed with our wedding! I would give Erica herself 5 stars she was amazing she had the kindest heart but she does not mess around when it comes to paying attention to every detail and caught things that we would've never caught. The weeks leading up to our big day I was so calm because Erica was so on it, I didn't have to worry about a thing! The night of our rehearsal she told me she read through every single email to make sure she didn't miss a thing (there were 100's of emails!!!) The day of I was getting a little overwhelmed while getting ready with people asking me questions and when Erica showed up I was immediately relieved to see her beautiful smiling face and knew all was well again! Now being on the other side I would say it was 100% worth it to hire a wedding planner and my husband agrees. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the little hiccup in the middle but I am thankful because everything happens for a reason. Even though Erica was a wedding planner thrown into our wedding halfway through she was amazing, and I feel I left this whole experience with a new friend!

Following a consult meeting so they could get a feel for the style and budget I had in mind, I was set up with Lauren, one of their lead planners. Lauren was an absolute dream to work with - she listened to my wishlist, got me the perfect venue (which I never would have found on my own), and put together an incredible team of top-notch vendors. She was there for vendor meetings, always had great ideas and advice on design elements, and kept things organized and moving smoothly. Plus she was just fun to be around - I always felt like she was as excited for my wedding day as I was which was pretty cool. Day of the wedding...I didn't have to worry about a thing! Lauren coordinated with all the vendors, oversaw the entire set-up process, dealt with any issues that arose, directed the flow of events, etc, etc. When my fiance/husband and I saw the space transformed, we were just blown away - it was so stunning! I can't recommend A Charming Fete and Lauren enough - they made our wedding day stress-free and simply amazing!

I had a vision of this beautiful head table floating floral arrangement that, in short, the florist completely forgot about on the day of. Additionally, the florist brought wilted flowers and a substantially smaller quantity of flowers than I had ordered. Somer & Lisa wanted my dreams to come true, so without hesitation (and without me knowing this at the time) they went and bought out flowers from various locations, and made a trip to home depot to build a last minute head table piece so that i would not be let down. To top it off, they sent me the most beautiful bouquet of roses when I got home from my honeymoon to resemble the flowers that I should've had on my big day! Beyond this story- they were there for bridesmaid dress shopping, at my request. They navigated through all of my awful family drama. From food tasting, to make up touch ups, they literally did.it.all. They even got all of the items for my hotel bags and assembled them all! I could go on for days. They are the sweetest, classiest, hardest working women you'll ever meet... and they genuinely care!! They truly are THE BEST <3

I’m a type A person that makes the to-do list, loves organization and likes to control things. I was planning our wedding in the midst of a hectic football season. Though I’m that person that likes control, I knew I needed to find planners, because it just wasn’t logistically possible for me to plan on my own since I was out of town. Lisa and Somer instantly calmed any fears or concerns that I had. Both are approachable, honest and very organized. I wanted planners to spearhead my “vision” and do their thing so to speak. They did that and more. We scheduled weekly phone calls, direct emails back and forth and texts. I know they had other several weddings before us, but we never felt like we weren’t a priority. They were ALWAYS there for us. During the planning process, life got extremely hectic with some career changes and moves, Lisa and Somer didn’t skip a beat. They constantly kept me in the loop. My(now) husband and I view these two ladies as close friends and family. I understand that our situation is unique and may differ from others, but rest assure that they are there to help you plan your wedding even when life gets crazy. As a bride, you want to see options. You want to be reassured that you are making the right decision. Lisa and Somer provided me with several options for vendors and pricing throughout the entire process. I loved the mood boards they created for every aspect of the wedding. You also want to make sure that your hard-earned money is being spent the right way (Amen!). Lisa and Somer were on top of all it. I cannot stress enough how helpful their organization and transparency were. Also, not every vendor is right for every wedding. These ladies sought out the florist, photographer, band, production company, linens etc. that fit best with the style & budget of my wedding. A Charming Fete is extremely well-connected with several vendors nationally and in Ohio. I incorporated both at my wedding because of them. I entered my wedding day, so relaxed. Why? Because the planning was done. By done, I mean we walked through the entire day serval times, talked about what was expected and what I didn’t want etc. My wedding day was long (Catholic Mass) and very hot, throughout the entire day, the entire A Charming Fete team was there hands-on to help in any way possible. The execution and communication were seamless. Our wedding day was unique because we had an after-party, which added more to everyone’s plate from planning to execution. Once again, they showed how talented they were and the after-party was everything and more! I whole heartily believe that A Charming Fete is THE best wedding planner in Ohio and among the top in the country. These two amazing women get to know you and your family, they find out what’s important and help in any way they can. They value you and your spouse, they value your trust. They are there to make YOUR day, truly yours.

As a Type A person, I got many complements on my wedding day of what a "chill bride" I was. I was able to chill because every little detail and day-of issue was handled flawlessly. With so many moving pieces involved when planning a wedding, they were always 10 steps ahead, knowing exactly how to handle the situation. Throughout the planning process they were easy to communicate with whether it was by phone or email. With a big family and involved in-laws, they were able to handle every opinion and conflicting desire. At the end of the day they made sure I (the bride) was happy. I didn't have to worry about searching the internet for the best vendors, they presented me with the best options for what my budget and vision was and I was able to narrow it down from there. Living outside of Cleveland, I knew I each weekend I was in town I would have to have a bunch of vendor meetings and visits scheduled in a row. They worked with each vendor to make sure my fiance and I could have extremely productive meetings and visits each time I was home. They have personal relationships with these amazing vendors and were able to organize them and have everything ready to go for our visits. I am not artistic but know what I like when I see it. After our initial design meeting, Lisa made a design board which was distributed to each vendor so everyone knew the important elements of my vision. This was key to make sure everyone was on the same page. Somer did the same with the agenda and timeline as we got closer to the wedding date. Having the vendors coordinated ensured a flawlessly executed event. Overall, I don't have enough positive things to say about these planners. They are designers, planners, problem solvers, therapists, maids-of-honors, and everything in between. I recommend them hands down to any bride!

They went above and beyond to make sure that every element of our day went off without a hitch. It was as if they could read our mind on the day of - we had MANY guests comment on how lovely the wedding was, how cohesive the design theme was, and how it seemed to embody us perfectly. We thanked them, of course - but deflected all praise to Tiffany and the ACF team. In short, Tiffany and the entire ACF were so incredibly kind, thoughtful, attentive, and wonderful to work with. Prices for wedding planning services were extremely reasonable for the amount of care and attention we received throughout the entire process. Daresay, they made the seemingly insurmountable task of planning a contemporary wedding an absolute pleasure. I'm kind of sad our wedding is over, since I won't have the chance to work with ACF again...but I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else looking for the best wedding and event planning services that NE Ohio has to offer. They took my Pinterest wedding board and brought it to life! They were respectful of budget and always gave honest, professional opinions throughout the planning process. Our day was so unbelievably perfect and worry-free because of them. There's really no need to look elsewhere if you want a wedding planner for your Ohio wedding...these guys are the best!

This would have stressed me out if they were not there however they took control of the situation and I didn't even know about it until the next day which was awesome. We also had a situation where tables were not set up how we planned but the ACT team rearranged linens and made sure the look of the venue was set up perfectly. Those are just a few examples but I truly can't imagine our wedding day without them. They made sure our wedding day was stress free, fun and absolutely perfect. I can't wait to use them again for parties in the future!

The result is elegant and beauuuutiful. My wedding was about 10 days or so ago and I am still looking back thinking: Really? The best floral recs, the best design ideas, the best details, constant email contact whenever my little bridezilla spirit animal came out. I really can't stress it enough. Hiring Lauren was 100% money well spent. No question about that.

o have 100% creative control and even do a good amount of fun DIY stuff, and ACF struck a perfect balance in that respect. They filled in all the blanks and always had A+ expert advice for us every step of the way. Erica Lasky was our main planner, accompanying us on every vendor meeting (or even meeting with them without us!), responding happily to texts literally every few hours the week before the wedding, taking care of every concern, keeping a smile on her face even when we were hours behind schedule the day of, and always responding thoroughly and quickly to every call, email, and text. She's such a sweetheart and was such a pleasure to work with. I miss her already! Lisa oversaw the entire process and is such a professional. Her eye for design is impeccable and she always has amazing advice. She was very respectful of every choice we made, while also always being honest if she had a different idea. She somehow read every word of every email (and there were SO MANY EMAILS) and nothing ever fell through the crack with her. I don't know how she does it, with all the events she plans simultaneously. I'm simply in awe of these ladies. They don't charge as much as they are worth. I highly recommend that you do yourself a favor and hire these superwomen, even if you just choose the day-of-coordination package. It'll be the best decision you ever made!

We had been planning our wedding for about 9 months when we realized that we were in over our heads. We were worried that we’d spend our whole wedding day trying to coordinate all the moving parts, so we decided to look into potential “day-of” wedding planners. When we met with Tiffany during our initial meeting, we knew A Charming Fete was “the one” (no pun intended). About 3-4 weeks before the wedding, we passed the baton onto Tiffany, and it was the BIGGEST relief. She reached out to all of our vendors and confirmed drop offs/deliveries/pickups/timeline and answered any and all questions our vendors had about the wedding day. As issues popped up, she was on top of them right away, and offering solutions. That is a priceless service to a bride in the last few weeks before her wedding! We found out our priest could not be at the ceremony/rehearsal dinner, and without hesitation, Tiffany said she would be there and would guide us and our wedding party through the ceremony rehearsal. On the big day, I was able to wake up with nothing but excitement because I knew Tiffany and her Charming Fete team had it covered. THIS IS HOW ALL BRIDES SHOULD FEEL ON THEIR WEDDING DAY! And as we knew it would, the wedding day went off without a hitch. Not because there weren’t hitches, but because we didn’t have to know or do anything about the hitches. They had it all covered and then some. Maggie was with us during pictures, carrying my cathedral length veil so it didn’t get dirty, holding my bouquet, and filling my champagne glass before I even knew it was empty They even loaded up all our wedding gifts in their car and DELIVERED THEM TO OUR APARTMENT! Not only did they drop off the gifts, but they put up a bunch of decorations that my mom had left for them. When we arrived to our apartment the next day, it was decked out in the decorations they put up, and all our presents were there, ready for us to open. The icing on the cake is that Tiffany and her team are kind, enthusiastic, and BRIGHT women, and they are a direct reflection of A Charming Fete.

nutes after the Cavs won the championship. That's commitment. Lisa was also incredible, and gave fantastic design ideas on one of our visits to the venue. At one point, I had reservations about one of the vendors and they both did everything needed to resolve the situation promptly and effectively and helped me feel reassured. My wedding was supposed to be outdoors, and a week before we realized we had to come up with a plan b due to weather. Lauren kept this process as stress free as possible, and helped us get a tent. On the day of, she calmly broke the news to me that we had to resort to plan C due to wind, and I totally trusted her to 'make it work'. She of course made it work better than I could have ever imagined, and it was the wedding of our dreams. I could not say enough about how helpful and creative this team was, and how wonderful it was to spend my entire wedding day not worried about a thing because I knew they were taking care of it to a tee. I can be kind of a control freak when it comes to making sure all the details are perfect, and this company was the perfect fit for my vision. They also recommended our photographer (Addison Jones) and calligrapher (BP Calligraphy) to us, and I could not have been happier with their service as well. Go with Charming Fete!!! They coordinated several other events & showers for our family & guests (including guests from out of the country) and worked with our friends to host showers and parties for the couple at several different locations. They kept many balls in the air with grace and good humor and they coordinated numerous vendors. Likewise, they were gracious at taking input from the bride, groom, mothers, fathers and other friends hosting events. They even worked with our west-coast event planner to make sure we were happy with the design details and the cuisine. The end result was a stunning wedding, a very happy bride & groom and family & friends that had a ball throughout the week! Well done ladies!

onths with no luck. Once I hired ACF, my job became so much easier. Tiffany immediately provided awesome venue and vendor recommendations. Her design board was amazing and she incorporated all of my (very detailed) feedback. Her vendor recommendations were generally within budget, totally reflected my taste, and saved me a ton of time that I would’ve spent trying to research everything on my own. Tiffany also went above and beyond with helping me contact/book/communicate with vendors throughout the planning process. She booked our hotel blocks, set up and attended vendor meetings with us, obtained vendor proposals/contracts, and ensured the design of the wedding stayed cohesive throughout the process. The week of the wedding, she confirmed everything with all of our vendors to ensure that ACF, the vendors, and my fiancé and I were on the same page, which was extremely helpful. She also put together detailed timelines and floorplan options. Tiffany and Nicole also attended and coordinated the rehearsal, which was so helpful since we had a larger bridal party and a first-time officiant, and we practiced for both an indoor and outdoor ceremony. On the actual wedding day, we didn’t have to worry about anything. Tiffany and her team transformed the barn and handled all of the vendors (and there were a LOT of vendors, since we brought in virtually everything besides tables and chairs), and I was able to just enjoy getting ready with my bridesmaids and family. We were trying for an outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour, but it was raining off and on all day. Tiffany gave us as much time as possible to make the decision, and put us totally at ease with changing to an indoor ceremony. Everything ran flawlessly and looked beautiful because of Tiffany and her team. The owners of our venue were not always the easiest to communicate with, but Tiffany always followed through and got answers from them. ACF and our caterer went above and beyond in cleaning up the venue. After the wedding, Tiffany also worked with our venue when they attempted to keep 100% of our security deposit, and she was able to get some money back for us. I can’t recommend ACF and Tiffany highly enough – they are organized, have great taste, and take so much work and anxiety out of wedding planning.

dent. The wedding date had been put on there wrong as well. Meetings were very hard to plan and coordinate with a couple of them getting cancelled. I felt a majority of the planning I was floundering around on my own to arrange. I had many family members ask me what they were actually doing for me. I'm very torn and don't like saying negative things but I was overall pretty disappointed for what I paid versus I got. I feel the services didn't own up to the price. Some positives were they did come up with many ceremony/reception venues to check out and explore. The service picked up closer to my wedding and I was getting quicker responses and attentiveness. I feel if that was how it was from the beginning, I would have been very satisfied. On the day of, they were very helpful and Erica was very good with directing everyone. Tiffany was great at setting up the reception for me and it looked very amazing. If I had to go back and do it again, I would probably save my money and instead just hire a day of coordinator.

29/16. at The Key Center Marriott. I told them everthing I wanted and they executed it perfectly. I think every girl has a vision and I never thought anyone could make it come true. I'm a perfectionist but I had to let go and allow them to do their jobs. They did a thousand times better than I could've ever imagined! I think back to the last year and a half of my life and I never could've done this without them. I am a young business professional with a very demanding job. Therefore, my time was limited and we had to do most of our communicaton via email. There was NOT ONE TIME where I did not have an email response back from them within 24 hours. They were always VERY responsive and attentive to my needs. Everyone tells you your wedding day goes fast--well, prepare yourself because it goes way faster than anyone says. I feel like 14 hours came and went in the blink of an eye. I could not have imagined not having them there with me on the wedding day. I worried about NOTHING. They did everything and I am so grateful for them. Trust me when I say this: find a way to fit a wedding planner into your budget. It is so worth it--You won't be disappointed.
