The company setup on Thursday a tent, dance floor, fans, lights, tables, and chairs with a generator for a Saturday afternoon event for 200 guests. Our guests were comfortably spaced and cool under the tent. They came back on Monday to break down everything. The table cloths provided were of high quality. We will be using A Grand Event Tent & Event Rentals every time we host a major event.
I had a wonderful experience renting from A Grand Event. They were extremely helpful, communicative, knowledgeable, and friendly. They helped me come up with exactly what I needed for my event, made great suggestions, and were available for questions. The quality of the equipment that I rented was top notch and well cared for.
A Grand Event is a fantastic company. We used them for a backyard family party. My contact, Matthew, was easy to work with and very helpful with recommending exactly what I needed, including tables/chairs, linens, lights, fans, etc. Tent setup and takedown were punctual. The crew was extremely neat and professional. The whole experience was so positive that I recommended the company to my friend. I would hire A Grand Event again in a heartbeat.

This was not for a weeding event, it was for my husband’s 50th birthday party. But would definitely recommend them for weddings.
Fantastic to work with! I worked with Casey from A Grand Event, and she was patient with me as I requested different plans for pricing, as well as getting the right set-up I was looking for. We met for a site visit to measure for the tent, and when we finally got to the day of our wedding, the tent looked amazing! Better than I could have imagined. I am so thankful we used A Grand Event, and I highly recommend.
The team at A Grand Event is excellent. When COVID-19 forced us to cancel our 120-person wedding, we decided on a small, family-only backyard ceremony. The team at A Grand Event was efficient, responsive, and professional. They quickly arranged an onsite visit, where they mapped out a tent design and floor that would give us as much room as possible for the reception. They also lined the perimeter with bulb lights, which made the entire thing feel pretty magical once the sun started to set. The set-up and breakdown processes were seamless, and the tent itself felt very sturdy and secure. We’d work with them again in a heartbeat!
These folks really know what they're doing. We had the most beautiful twinkle light tent-setup for our outdoor wedding, and it set the stage for an amazing day. Cannot highly enough recommend!
We rented a number of 30” round cafe tables with white tablecloths and white padded chairs for our bridal shower. Placed throughout the garden they provided a lovely, comfortable socially-distanced environment for our guests. The service from Grand Event was excellent from ordering through pickup and return. Highly recommend both the products and service.
We used A Grand Event for a micro wedding and only had a short time to plan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rope/pole tent we had was very clean and the Edison lights made it even prettier.
We also used them for tables/chairs/dishes, etc and everything came clean. Some of the gold chairs were a little worn down, but the cushions covered up the wear and tear.
I would definitely use them again.
The team at A Grand Event went above and beyond to help make it a beautiful reception venue. They provided so many pretty accessories to the tent itself. The installation and take-down were very professional and during the event they watched out for any small tweaks that equipment may need.
I highly recommend working with these professionals.

I've worked with A Grand Event to plan our school's Gala for the past 4 years and they are very easy to work with and very professional. Their linens make our event beautiful and they are always ready to go, in perfect condition, when we need them. I've never had a problem with them and will continue to use them for future events.
A Grand Event provided tents, tables, chairs, flooring, fans, lighting, catering supplies and coolers for our wedding reception of 225 guests. The staff was incredibly patient with our constantly changing requests, for which i am eternally grateful. They were professional, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful, and the reception was beautiful. I would DEFINITELY use them again and HIGHLY recommend them!
We rented 42 feet of pipe and drape for our wedding. A Grand Event was reasonably priced and dropped off and picked up the equipment quickly and efficiently. Everything was of good quality and looked great!
The tent arrived and was broken down on time and the staff who came to the venue to do the work were very friendly, efficient and helpful. However, many of the tent panels arrived with mold stains and had to be switched out. The administrative staff was responsive to our concerns and we were able to use clear panels instead.
Like the previous reviewer, I also had my wedding at the Hendry House, and chose A Grand Event of the 2 permitted tent vendors because of the better reviews. I also ended up using A Grand Event for my tables, chairs, etc., because -- while other places were cheaper -- A Grand Event had a more extensive range of table sizes that allowed us to better utilize our limited venue space. We were also able to rent some odds and ends through them, like ice chests and buckets, pillars for our altar arrangements, etc.
We worked primarily with Wes, and to a lesser extent with Kristen, both of whom were super responsive and helpful. We also stopped by the storeroom to make our linen selections, and while they don't have any tents set up because there isn't room, you can see pretty much everything else, so that was helpful.
We also ended up canceling a few items a couple of weeks before our wedding but after I had sent in the check for the balance, and we received the refund check promptly a few days after the wedding. A+ for professionalism and overall convenience.
A Grand Event was easy to work with, responsive via email, and gave us a discount for paying in cash for our wedding tent at the Hendry House in Arlington VA. They are one of two approved tent vendors for this site and I chose them based on their better reviews. Wes guided me on the various choices I needed to make. We had a frame tent with lights and fans and a marquee tent over the stairs between house and tent in case of rain. It did not rain, but the tent still provided welcome shade and a festive feel (we decorated it with flag bunting in rows overhead.
One lesson learned (too late for me but may help you): Be sure to communicate as early as you know, and then again in the last days prior to your event, about the timeline. AGE initially gave us a window of "9-12" to set up the tent, and said they'd get back to us closer to the date. They didn't, and I forgot to confirm. I did assume the window meant that at the latest they'd be done at noon, but though they'd arrived on the early side of the window and the tent was "up" by 11:45, they were still securing it and installing weights, lights, and fans until about 1pm. Our decorator was there at 11 hoping to start putting up the bunting. And their large truck was blocking the service drive, interfering with delivery of alcohol, cake, and flowers. All is well that ended well...everyone delivered, tent got decorated, etc. But do talk through with ALL vendors the schedule of the other vendors if you can to avoid delays and anxiety on your part!
I've used A Grand Event as a professional planner and was very impressed with their services. As a bride, they took my satisfaction to another level! They are very responsive to questions and requests and flexible with any changes that need to be made. They did a great job with everything!
A Grand Event set up strands of pearl lights over the patio of our wedding venue and they did an absolutely beautiful job - I would highly recommend this vendor to any couples who are having part or all of their wedding reception outdoors. Michael was very professional and responsive to my questions and changes during the planning process.
I thank A Grand Event for helping me out with my rental. I needed a tent, chairs, tables, lights, and heaters. I changed my order 20 times before it was said and done. It was at my house, so I asked if the could bring everything on Thurs instead of Fri and it was no problem. They picked up on Tuesday and everything went great. The pearl lights I rented gave the most amazing feel to the wedding. Just a very soft warm glow with the clear sides of the tent. I did everything over email and it was sooo easy. I will definitely use you again for any future tent rentals.

A Grant Event provided a tent for a terrace at our venue for our wedding on July 9th. The tent looked great and the fans worked well at keeping guests very comfortable.
The tent was delivered and set up on time and Wes is great to work with.
