A. Griffin and Meghan specifically were absolutely amazing to work with. Meghan was always checking in along the planning process and making sure I was on track to have all my vendors set and that I could enjoy the last month leading up to the wedding. She was patient and listened to my vision. She was even more amazing on the weekend of the wedding. The whole team on the day of had everything under control and made it the smoothest and most enjoyable day of our lives. I could not imagine having planned my wedding with anyone else.

Daniela was amazing to work with from The first email. She is responsive , professional and calming . I am a makeup artist and I work with a lot of planners . I’ve never experienced anything like working with Daniela ! She made sure I had everything I needed in the two rooms before myself and the team arrived. She even steamed the dresses for the ladies which I have never seen a planner do. She is a breathe of fresh air honestly and if I was getting married I would want her on my special day . I am so excited to have more weddings with Daniela as the planner as I know everything will go so smoothly! Thanks for everything Daniela!

Aimee and her team were incredible! She made the planning process so much more manageable with her very detailed timelines and great recommendations on vendors (which saved us lots of research time). On the day of the wedding, everything came together perfectly and we were truly able to focus on our friends and family and not logistics - her team even brought everything we were taking home from the reception back to the hotel and it was in our room when we got back.

I honestly can’t even begin to describe how incredible Aimee and her team are. My husband and I booked Aimee way back in January 2019, before the chaos of covid wedding season was upon us. From the beginning Aimee was attentive, kind, patient, and wonderful to work with. Our wedding was originally scheduled for June 2020, and as the date neared, the reality of having our dream wedding fell apart. We ended up rescheduling our date twice, with the most fantastic guidance from Aimee. If it weren’t for her, I may have gone insane. On our actual wedding day, Aimee was perfection, no surprise. All of my bridesmaids were raving about her. My mom kept saying how organized she was. Even random guests came to tell me how beautiful everything was and how much they loved our planner. There was a point in the night that my 2 year old nephew hurt himself pretty badly. My sister in law was heart broken that he was hurt, and that they both had to miss part of the day. Aimee swooped in like a superhero and helped calm my sister in law and nephew. It’s clear that she actually cares about all the people she works with. She sat with them, hugged them, made them feel better, and still managed to be on top of everything else happening. She puts her heart into everything she does, and I couldn’t imagine what our wedding experience would have been like without her. I honestly could go on and on. Simply stated, Aimee is an actual goddess that deserves all the praise snd positive vibes. We love her so much.

I can't even begin to express how amazing Aimee is. When I started planning our wedding last fall, I knew I needed a day-of coordinator but wasn't expecting too much because previous weddings I've been to. After my first phone call with Aimee, I knew A. Griffin Events would exceed our expectations. She provided so many useful planning and organizing materials to help make sure I got everything done that I needed to. She was available as much as I needed, throughout our entire planning process and really was my emotional support when we had to make the difficult decision of cancelling or postponing our wedding. I wouldn't have been able to handle the pandemic and wedding planning without her and for that I am forever grateful! We ended up rescheduling our wedding and downsizing in a major way. Aimee helped turn this new plan we had into an outdoor dream. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Aimee and Veronica handled every single detail starting from the early morning until the bar closed down. One thing that all of the previous reviews have in common is that Aimee turns into a friend when you work with her and not working with her is probably the saddest part about our wedding being over! I wish I could give more stars to emphasize how amazing she is!!

Planning a wedding at a distance is never easy, but Aimee and her team made the process enjoyable - with a fantastic outcome. From my perspective as the mother of the bride, she did a remarkable job of always having the big picture in mind, yet managed all the details and anticipated potential problems (loved those fans which appeared just in time for wedding day heat!). She had a cadre of trusted vendors (florists, graphic artists for lovely invitations and paper materials, photographers were amazing options), creativity and a respect for our budget. Aimee cultivated a wonderful relationship with the bride and groom and helped them achieve a magical weekend while managing busy careers. We all can’t thank her enough!

5000 million stars for A. Griffin Events!! Working with Aimee and her team was fun, and empowering. We had an intimate wedding on the National Mall. What could have been a logistical nightmare, was a vision of perfection. Aimee and her team transformed the simple Monument into the most romantic beautiful ceremony. There was a beautiful lounge area featuring a perfect pink settee and guest were welcomed with fresh lemonade from a perfectly appointed bar cart. Aimee and her team did not a single detail. When I first spoke with Aimee, I described my wedding day as elopement; what I got was Enchantment and the most perfect day from start to finish. I’m sure there were 134 hiccups leading up to my wedding, there most certainly had to have been a few on the day of; yet, I am none the wiser. Aimee and her team are wedding ninjas, they move swiftly, quietly, and jump into action. These ladies have magical powers and would be invisible, if weren’t for their bright smiles of encouragement. Aimee is connected and can truly make anything happen. The day before our wedding we found out that my fiancé’s mom was in the hospital and could not attend the wedding. Aimee found us the most wonderful videographer to ensure his mom could relive the day with us. My day was perfect, and I owe to Aimee her team.

Aimee and Jorian were absolutely amazing from the start. They were organized, professional, friendly, and open! I truly can't say enough about how wonderful they are. The second that they began the planning and execution process with me, I felt a weight lifted. They took care of communicating with all vendors, sending me certain reminders such as when payments were due for various aspects of the wedding, being proactive about setting up meetings with me, etc. The day of the actual wedding was 100% stress-free. I have witnessed when brides and their family are completely consumed with many tasks throughout the day of the wedding. I didn't feel one ounce of stress or worry. Jorian took care of absolutely everything that needed to be done. I know how grateful I am to have had Jorian there (and associates) the day of the wedding, and my parents were equally (if not more) grateful. If you want your wedding to run seamlessly and actually enjoy your wedding day, do not hesitate to use A. Griffin Events. Five stars all around! I am so thankful!

Aimee is the consummate professional - really, the ideal wedding planner. She's organized, creative, has impeccable taste, cool under pressure, and an absolutely delight to work with. She made the entire process of planning my daughter's wedding a dream and the event itself was simply magical. She thoughtfully captured the personality of the couple in every little decision that was made. Aimee has fantastic working relationships with some of the best vendors in the DC area, which became apparent throughout the process. I so appreciated that she respected our budget, helping us to set priorities on where to splurge and where we could save a bit of money - we actually came in under budget! Honestly, I went into the planning process not sure we wanted or needed a planner, but hiring Aimee was the best decision we made - and the best money we spent. She assembled a dream team of vendors for the wedding day, and our entire family was able to relax and enjoy every minute of the wedding day stress-free, as we knew Aimee (and her wonderful colleague Jorian) would handle everything. I feel like I made a friend during this process - I adore Aimee and simply can't recommend her highly enough.

Where do we even begin... Aimee is complete perfection. She is lovely and warm and earnest and kind and organized and professional and a complete joy to work with. She took our half-baked ideas and our "it would be fun if..." suggestions and turned them into the most beautiful, cohesive vision that was completely true to who we are as a couple and what we wanted our guests to experience on our special day. Our wedding was astonishing. Legitimately awe inspiring. We still can’t believe it was real. If not for A. Griffin Events it never could have been. Not even close. I cannot recommend or praise them highly enough. Working with them was such a dream. We had chemistry with Aimee from the first call. It was like talking to your best friend. She invited us to dinner to meet with her and her lease designer, Jorian. We had already talked to nearly a dozen event planners and weren’t excited about any. When we met with Aimee and Jorian we knew right away. We intended to take some time to consider our options, but we were so excited to work with them that we barely made it back to our car before calling to confirm. It was such an easy decision. They took care of EVERYTHING. We were able to let go of our stress, relax, and actually enjoy the experience. They were so understanding and patient, creative, thorough and well organized. Positively wonderful throughout the whole process. Everything was always well under control. They’re a joy to be around and we looked forward to the next time we’d see them (which was often). They were right there with us, every step of the way. It was such a comfort and made all the difference in the world. We never felt lost or overwhelmed. They were committed to getting to know us and understanding what it was we really wanted, even when we didn’t. Their instincts were spot on. Every facet ended up being the perfect fit. We didn’t make things easy and with any other event planners it would have been a nightmare for everyone involved. We were hard to please, had extremely (even unreasonably) high expectations and were the worst procrastinators. But, it never even phased them. They never missed a step and were never anything but the delightful, calming, uplifting, and enjoyable presence they had been from the start. They went to the ends of the earth to make even our most unrealistic, and impossible dreams a reality. Even those beyond our wildest expectations. One such example (of which there are many); while touring the perfect venue (high had been hand picked by either Aimee or Jorian or both), I mentioned how “in a perfect world” I could picture our favorite band playing over the dance floor from a stage above the bar. I riffed about how maybe they would play that song of theirs that is also ‘our song‘ while we danced our first dance below. I continued to talk Jorian’s ear off. Carried away and indulging the hypothetical, I went on to describe how I envisioned the rest of the performance. How they’d kick the party into high gear by playing that song everybody knows from that movie everyone loves. It wasn’t realistic but it was fun to think about. A few days later we get a call. They pulled some strings and somehow found a way to reach the band’s management. Jorian made such a strong case that she convinced them to take the idea to the band. Whatever it was that she said, it worked. Not only were they interested, they were excited about idea. I couldn’t believe it.  From there they navigated all the details and complexities necessary to pull something like that off. Bonafide rockstars playing a private concert at a wedding in the grand lobby of a landmark DC theatre. They pulled it off without a hitch, and that memory is just one of many from that day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It truly was the experience of a lifetime and we owe it all to A. Griffin Events.

What a pleasure working with such an awesome team of event coordinators! As a Dj, communication between vendors is critical to ensure all details are covered! We loved working with Jorian and decided to work with the A Griffin Events team after talking on the phone and confirming a few of our bigger wishes from a planner - 1. Had great vendor recommendations based on our style and preferences 2. Flexible with the amount and timing of our meetings (I travel for work and needed the flexibility) 3. All month of/day of coordination. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We loved that she kept us on track and helped us prioritize tasks. In addition, she always brought up great pointers and was an amazing sounding board whenever we had questions. She really shined on our wedding day, keeping us calm, relaxed, and ahead of schedule. My wedding party loved working with her too and complimented how she kept everything running smoothly with a positive attitude. Overall, we would highly recommend the A Griffin Events team.

Aimee and her team are unparalleled. Throughout the planning process they made it their first priority to ensure we felt comfortable, happy, and stress-free. Aimee would explain the terms of all of our contracts as we received them, broke down and organized all of our payments and budget needs, coordinated all communication with our vendors so that we didn't have to, she attended all meetings and fittings, helped us design our wedding, and so much more. Aimee and her team listened to our concerns and questions and were so flexible as we made our decisions. They're also very quick to problem-solve if needed. On the wedding day Aimee brought a number of assistants with her to help ensure each detail was executed properly and that we were taken care of. We didn't have to lift a finger (other than to drink our champagne) on the wedding day and it was the best feeling to just sit back and enjoy everything with our family and friends. Working with A. Griffin Events is like working with your best friends in the best way possible. We would choose A. Griffin Events over and over again and we HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Hiring A. Griffin Events was hands down the best choice my husband and I could have made. From the very beginning...I mean very beginning (I hired Aimee and Jorian less than one week after we got engaged!) they made the process easy and low stress. I had one phone interview with them and knew it was a perfect match. We were lucky enough to have them with us for our entire planning process. From venue visits, photographer interviews, to cost comparisons on hair and make up artists. They really went above and beyond. As a person who had trouble deciding on things it wasn’t great to have them. They never put pressure on me to make a choice just to make one, they truly wanted me to be happy and make the best decision for myself and my husband. Jorian also went with me to every dress fitting which to be honest was really above and beyond. She knew my mother lived 3,000 miles away and was willing to give me that support. There are no words to describe how amazing Aimee and her team are. We hired A. Griffin Events to provide month of coordinating services for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions that we made. From our first call with Aimee, Rachel, and Jorian, we knew that they were the people we wanted to help out with our big day. They were so patient, understanding, and kind, and I felt like I was talking with old friends on our first call rather than complete strangers!! We worked mostly with Rachel, the month of coordinating specialist, and she was always there to answer questions or help out with anything we needed. She was very thorough and detailed, and included Aimee and Jorian on every detail of the big day. Even though we had hired the team for just month of coordinating services, we felt like we had hired a full wedding planner! They were always available when we had a question, or needed recommendations, or even when I was feeling stressed out they were a comforting and familiar voice. The month prior to the wedding, all of the planning was taken out of my hands and Rachel took full lead on any and all communications with our vendors. Any bride knows that there is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes of a wedding besides just the logistical things (like family and random little things!) so it was such a relief to have that taken off our hands. By the time the wedding day came around, we felt so relaxed and comfortable. And honestly, everything could not have gone more perfectly!!! Rachel, Aimee, and Jorian did not miss a beat throughout the whole day, and never at any point of the day did we or our parents feel stressed. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests about how perfect everything seemed to be, and it truly was perfect in every way! We could not have been any happier with A. Hiring Aimee and A. Griffin Events was hands down the best decision we made while planning my daughter’s recent wedding. We met with Aimee on the advice of a friend just to get a few pointers about wedding planning; we believed we could do it on our own, but after about 5 minutes of meeting with Aimee we knew we were in way over our heads and hired her on the spot! She is extremely organized, very knowledgeable, unbelievably creative, listens thoughtfully, and guided us gently to create the wedding of my daughter’s (and son-in-law's) dreams! Our budget was always considered which I appreciated, and my frequent questions were always answered very quickly and thoroughly. I know ours was not the only wedding she was working on at the time, but somehow she makes you feel like you are her only client. Her goal was always to take the stress out of the planning process so we all could enjoy every minute of the planning and of course the wedding. And we really did! The wedding was perfect in every single way and we are still receiving cards from guests thanking us that they were included in this amazing day! But perhaps the best thing about Aimee, Jorian, and team is their true friendship which developed very quickly and which I will treasure always. Aimee Griffin and her team created a fantastic wedding experience for my family and friends during two separate celebrations. Even though I live in London, she was always able to find the time to chat with me by Skype or email to answer my questions. She helped me develop my vision for a destination wedding and planned every detail of it with me. Aimee is highly organized and efficient. She created a website for me that enabled my guests from all over the world to make their travel plans to Italy and keep up to date with the events of the wedding weekend in Amalfi. Aimee took the stress out of communicating with the vendors we used both in the States and in Italy. She helped not only secure quotes and contracts, but did the walk-throughs, checked in with each vendor multiple times on the wedding day, and made adjustments in the moment. She is creative, a quick problem-solver, and didn’t get ruffled when last minute changes had to be made for my reception due to rain. Aimee has an eye for wedding design and décor, and will provide an honest opinion about what elements work with different wedding themes and venues. She is patient, and understands the stress a bride faces with so many decisions to make. I highly recommend her as a wedding planner and event coordinator.

There are no words and no number of stars to really describe how incredible A. Griffin Events is. We weren't really looking for a planner, but a great family friend of ours was the MOH in one of Aimee's weddings right around when I got engaged. She suggested we meet and after about five minutes, there was no question that we had to work with Aimee. I loved being a bride but didn't have the Pinterest boards, saved Instagram accounts and bookmarked wedding blogs that a lot of other girls have. Best team we could have selected! After a few interviews they were an immediate connect for my husband and I. They care about your day being as easy and simple as possible. They communicate as much or as little as desired. They go the extra mile to make sure you have extra resources you didn’t think of, and you course make your loved ones feel important and taken care of on the special day. They are also very organized hey have websites and documents to track every and keep you involved in every step. They coordinate calls to make sure you on top of small details and that you and your spouse have a joint style joined as one. Aimee is wonderful! We would have been lost without her. There was no way we could have planned our wedding alone, especially since neither one of us lived in the area. Aimee is kind, thoughtful, friendly, and extremely organized. Even though we do not live in the Maryland area, Aimee was always accessible through email and by phone. She provided many excellent suggestions for vendors and worked with them to ensure that the day went smoothly. She took the time to get to know us and our families. In addition, she was very thorough and had clear tasks for us to complete at each meeting. I never thought I would need a planner, but my venue required it. I AM SO GLAD THEY DID. Because hiring Aimee and her team was one of the best decisions I made. Hiring a day of coordinator I thought basically they would just be there the day of to get things going, but they provided so so much more than that. Rachel was there to answer all my questions and provide me guidance during the whole process. Aimee and Jorian were also there day of and I basically had the best of everyone handling my wedding. Aimee was AMAZING!!!!!! She worked with Katie MacGregor (Rose Gold Events) for our wedding and was above-and-beyond amazing every step of the way. She was kind, considerate, thoughtful, calm, detail oriented, and did everything with a big smile on her face. During any snafus, she helped me stay calm and happy. She will make you feel cared about, special, and taken care of every step of the way.

I cannot say enough great things about Aimee. She is the consummate professional and also she turned out to be a wonderful friend. Her personality is easy-going and calm. As a bride from the US but living in Singapore and marrying an Australian, pulling off a wedding in Virginia was always going to be complicated. Despite not meeting her in person until we were two months in, I knew from our first FaceTime video that Aimee was the only one who could help us pull it off. Her focus on what really mattered to us as B/G and her depth of understanding of all the other factors that come into play kept us focused and reassured throughout the whole process - and relaxed during our 3 day wedding. Aimee is a professional, effective event planner, but her partnership with us was so far beyond the job title. Her perceptiveness of situations, her recommendations of vendors and her professional (and personal!) guidance was always exactly on point. She is calm, organized, open-minded, encouraging, patient, flexible (but firm when needed) and has a fantastic balance of corporate & creative knowledge. Her willingness to understand the cultural nuances and accommodate the multitude of challenges facing our global guests speaks both to her character and to her professional abilities. I always think an event planner should be like the pilot of plane—calm, collected, understands the big picture and knows the details for every step along the way. A. Griffin Events is amazing! I was planning an intimate (75) person wedding in Baltimore and had no idea of all that went in to a wedding-even a small one. I contacted A. Griffen Events about a month before the wedding and Rachel gladly came on and helped me work out each and every little thing. Including details I never planned for. On the day of I got Rachel and Aimee! What a pleasant surprise. Both were great in directing guests, making sure transitions went smoothly and helping me stay on schedule. Rachel also came early (7:00) that morning (my wedding started at 10:30am), to see if I needed anything before heading over to the venue. As soon as I got engaged, I repeatedly heard that hiring a wedding coordinator was hands down the best wedding planning decision I could make. My (now) husband and I emailed and met with a couple of coordinators early on but no one felt quite right. Time started passing and soon we found ourselves four months away from our desired wedding date with NOTHING PLANNED! I had known Aimee personally for years (I babysat her kids!) and knew she was exceptional professionally from several friends’ weddings which she coordinated. I called Aimee in a panic one evening, convinced it was impossible to plan a wedding in four months and my wedding dreams were ruined. Aimee was calming and encouraging. Aimee listened to our wedding vision and understood the guest experience we wanted to create. She brought our ideas to fruition, identified areas of potential challenge and suggested concrete solutions to ensure our wedding was a seamless event. However, what truly sets Aimee apart is the level of intentionality she devotes to knowing each couple and designing an event that expresses their unique style. Our wedding was the perfect celebration of my husband and I, the life we will build and share together. I can confidently say our wedding would not have been possible without Aimee’s services.

Usually, the mother of the groom plays only a small role in the wedding planning. However, at the request of the bride, I became "the planner". Aimee was recommended to us by our caterer. From the moment I met her, it was obvious she was a good listener, very talented and very calming....everything you are looking for in an event planner. She is an absolute pleasure to work with! Without a shadow of a doubt, hiring Aimee as a wedding planner was, by far, the wisest decision my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. In a few words, our wedding day was a dream. Absolute perfection. I can say with confidence that this was due, in large part, to Aimee's services. Aimee is one of the most organized individual's I have ever met. Consequently, she established clear deadlines at various points of the planning process, and kept us "in line" when it seemed like we might miss an approaching deadline. She is firm, but graceful. Thoughtful, but persistent. She embodies those qualities that make her a phenomenal planner, but also a great friend. She is kind, honest, and empathetic, all of which are qualities that are an asset in making sure that the wedding planning process is not stressful, but instead, a moment in time when a couple can craft a day that represents them as a couple, as individuals, and celebrates the beginning of a lifelong journey. She helped us design a wedding day that was nothing short of fairytale by locating vendors that matched our personalities and design aesthetic. But perhaps most importantly, planning a wedding with her is like having your best friend help you plan your wedding. She spent the time to get to know us as individuals (and as a couple) before offering planning suggestions, and as a result, was able to cater to our personality quirks, even if this meant making decisions (upon our request!) that planners don't often make. Simply stated: she went above and beyond to ensure that we not only had a stress-free and perfect wedding day, but enjoyed every moment of the planning process. And frankly, she is just fun to be around!

As the mother-of-the bride, Aimee made my job so much easier. I was panicking before she started to work with us. She was so organized and kept us on budget and on schedule. Aimee is such a creative person with so many contacts and ideas. The wedding came off beautifully and without a hitch. It was all my daughter and her husband dreamed of!

Aimee Griffin is an amazing wedding planner and I absolutely recommend her! I am the type of bride that is terrible at planning events and I am a huge procrastinator. Aimee took me through the process step by step and the planning was equally spaced so I was never stressed. She also has great recommendations of wedding vendors that all turned out wonderfully! On my wedding day, she also kept the event stress free and everything went perfectly because it was planned very well. Aimee also has great taste which made the process of choosing decorations much easier. Without Aimee I would have been very stressed and the wedding would not be as perfect as it was. Aimee goes above and beyond for clients and I couldn't recommend her more.

Aimee did a fabulous job planning our party. She took care of every detail, provided various options, helped us to make decisions, held to a firm timeline and maintained a tight budget. Out of all the vendors we worked with, Aimee was, hands-down, the best choice we made. From the beginning, Aimee tried to develop more of a friendship rather than a business relationship as she understands a wedding is a personal event rather than a business event. Unlike other planners I had talked to, Aimee was more than willing to give her advice and thoughts regarding ideas I had. Other planners said that if I had questions, I would need to pay additional consultation fees. As this was our first and only wedding, we didn't know if certain prices quoted by other vendors were reasonable or if there were vendor recommendations Aimee might have. Also, she was very mindful of our budget and when I wanted a design look that would blow my budget, she was able to provide alternative suggestions which were just as good! Aimee actually helped me to cut and dye my own napkin linens on a weekend-- I can tell you no other planner out there would invest that much of their own personal time in any client except this fantastic lady! Aimee was available for us to consult with throughout the entire planning process and was key in getting us some of our best vendors such as our florist, Porter and Ives, and our cake baker, Catherine Georges, who elevated the design of our wedding ten-fold! She is a pro at execution and was able to organize my vision of the perfect wedding and help edit out all the add-on ideas I had to create a magazine worthy wedding. She is super organized, always calm, and very proactive so that nothing is pushed to the last minute. On the day of the actual wedding, Aimee and her assistant made sure everything went along seamlessly-- if anything went wrong, I had no idea. On top of that, Aimee is always thinking about how to make her client's weddings even better by bringing additional decor items at her own cost. My wedding day was completely stress free and enjoyable because of Aimee's work. Aimee was the one person who kept me grounded and would remind me of the true purpose of weddings, which is a celebration to kick off your marriage. This made me look forward to actually getting married and not sweat the commercial aspect of the wedding-- because I had that mindset, I truly believe we were able to plan such a gorgeous wedding.
