We cannot recommend Kelley and her team enough, and if you are reading this review you should go hire her ASAP!!!!! Kelley is both down to earth and detail oriented, and we had truly the most incredible wedding day and credit so much of the success of the day to Kelley. Not only is she amazing at her job, but she’s someone you want to have around not only on your wedding day, but also during the stressful days and months leading up to it. We feel so lucky that we found Kelley, and her help was easily our best investment. We love her!!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Kelley and her team. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we were on the fence about hiring a planner, but it turned out to be the best decision we made. We chose À La Carte Events because, as the name suggests, we were able to customize the services to focus on what mattered most to us—specifically, the aesthetic and the food. Kelley helped us find and choose the perfect vendors, most specifically the caterer, florist, and rentals, and brought our vision to life. I swear it was even more perfect than we could have imagined!
Beyond that, the day-of coordination was phenomenal. As the bride, it was such a relief to have someone handling all the details so I could fully enjoy the day. Kelley and Laniya took care of everything behind the scenes and frequently checked in on us to ensure we were having the best day. I can’t recommend Kelley enough!

I didn’t have to think about anything the day of the wedding and everything was absolutely beautiful. The planning process was so easy with her and she helped me every step of the way.

We hired Kelley to manage the last eight weeks leading up to our December 2023 wedding and we could not be more happy with our decision to do so. From our initial call with Kelley, she immediately put us at ease. My husband and I both have very busy work schedules, and were most concerned about our ability to manage all of the details that come up the last couple months of the wedding as well as the coordination the day of. Kelley took the reins and made the planning process for us fun, instead of stressful. Kelley is also a consummate professional, while also being extremely personable and easy to get along with. I spoke to a number of other planners before finding Kelley and she stood out immediately both from a subject matter expertise standpoint, but also how easy it was to interact with her. I received numerous comments from our wedding party, family and friends how impressed they were with her and how smoothly she kept the day running. A number of people told me before the wedding that something inevitably will go wrong the day of and to not let it stress me out; however, I can't think of a single thing that did not go as planned (and if it did I don't know about it) and that's all thanks to Kelley and her wonderful team. I would hire her 10x over - she really is the best.

My first impression of Kelley was she was someone who took her title seriously, because she truly loves what she does. I remember reaching out to 10 other planners and she was someone who got back to me that same day. Our personalities instantly clicked!
My husband and I had just moved to Colorado, and we were planning our wedding in the East Coast since that’s where we’re originally from. This was no easy task, and for someone who’s Type A, not being able to have total control over everything really freaked me out. However, Kelley reassured me that everything was going to get taken care of, and she truly went above and beyond for us!
From Pinterest boards, to Instagram and TikTok reels; Kelley gave us everything we envisioned and more. Her communication with us was always prompt and whenever she spoke with us we always felt prioritized and overall taken care of. When we were planning our wedding, my husband and I were struggling financially due to some personal hardships we encountered. When we told Kelley this, she was more than understanding when she didn’t have to be. Kelley and her team even took over our floral arrangements because the quotes we were getting were just unbelievably high. And when it came to decor, she had an inventory that she allowed us to look through and borrow what we needed for our wedding day.
Throughout the entire process, Kelley had our backs. We ran into an issue with somethings from our venue, and she was able to get us complimentary champagne! As a perfectionist, I couldn’t recommend Kelley and À La Carte Events more. She made sure my husband and I enjoyed our wedding day and most importantly, made sure we ate and took in every moment.
I can promise with certainty that if you’re ever-so-lucky to work with Kelley and her amazing team, it’ll be the best, most beautiful event you’ll ever experience! Kelley, we are so grateful for you entering our lives and we wish you and your business nothing but the absolute best!
Where do I even begin to describe the amazingness that is the Al La Carte team!!!! From the first phone call to the last dance Kelley, Laniya and their team made everything perfect. The attention to detail, the calming manor, the planning phone calls and check ins, the venue walk through, the meetings with vendors, and so much more!!! Kelley recommended the best band, the best florist and the best caterers. It was so helpful having them guide us through this planning process and execute the day flawlessly. Every single detail that was done during planning came to life on our special day. Kelley and Laniya are the nicest and kindest people who made us feel so happy and confident that everything was going to be perfect. I could not recommend the A La Carte team enough. Kelley and her team at A La Carte helped make our dream wedding come true! We celebrated with all of our friends and family at a 120-person wedding reception in Oct 2022 at Kanopi in White Plains (our vows were in Santorini). For almost two years (during the pandemic), Kelley helped us bring our “Jungle Gatsby” vision to life. She went above and beyond to meet our needs and create magic from our vision boards. She also helped us find the best venue and vendors and was absolutely critical on the day-of (she had her baby the very next day!!). I can’t thank Kelley enough for her hard work and support throughout our planning process—she was willing to get creative and help us achieve our non-traditional night. Kelley and her team did an incredible job for our September wedding and she really helped bring my vision that I didn't even know I had to life! On the day of Kelley truly went above and beyond from making our beautiful bud vases to bustling my dress. When there was a wine mishap with my dress, Kelley spent time literally on the floor helping to scrub my dress. The day of really would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her and her team! Her husband Gregory facilitated our rehearsal and he was so helpful, he was calm, organized, knowledgeable, and you could tell how much he cared about our wedding going smoothly. We hired Kelley for partial planning which included vendor recommendations; our caterer, band, and florist were absolutely amazing and our guests are still talking about them! At some points in the planning process I could've used a little more communication on where we were with vendor coordination. It took many months to nail down a florist and I didn't always know what was going on behind the scenes which was a bit stressful, but Kelley ultimately nailed it and found our amazing florist within our budget. We are so glad we hired Kelley and really don't know what we would've done without her on our wedding day!
We just got married on 10/8 and we booked Kelley as our wedding weekend coordinator two years ago! I was certainly not your typical “traditional bride,” and Kelley helped to bring my wedding vision to life! Kelley and her team were so extremely helpful along the way, but my now HUSBAND and I agreed that their expertise truly shined the last couple of weeks leading up to our wedding and throughout the wedding weekend itself- we could not be more appreciative that we truly got to soak in every little moment without being stressed!!! Kelley and her team handled ALL of the back end stuff that I hadn’t even thought of until beginning the planning process. Being from Long Island and getting married in the Catskills (3+ hours away), we really benefitted from Kelley’s connections and expertise in working within the Hudson Valley. She really streamlined the process of ensuring all of our vendors (local and from up state) were informed of all details and ready to go!

Not only did you seamlessly orchestrate the weekend, but you did it while 2 weeks away from having your first baby- you are INCREDIBLE! Please give Gregory a huge thank you as well! You two make an amazing duo and I am sure you will be rockstar parents together. Thank you for helping to make our wedding dreams come true!

Kelley is fantastic! We hired her as a partial planner for our 200 person at home wedding- a venue that has never had an event like this before- and she crushed it! She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and worked well with us as a couple and all of our vendors for planning the months before and making everything perfect day of. She is organized, responsive, has great ideas from all her experience, and was great at listening and guiding us toward our perfect wedding during planning. On the wedding day she and her husband Gregory, a wonderful asset to her team, navigated our "lucky" rain shower with grace, and we barely noticed the weather because of how beautiful everything was! This was not a low maintenance event being 200 people at a family home with no infrastructure- and she was able to make it come together perfectly. It was the best wedding ever (in our humble opinion), and we can't thank Kelley enough for her beautiful eye, great attitude, and hard work!
We hired Kelley two years out from our wedding. She was the first vendor we hired and felt super confident after a great phone call and multiple emails back and forth. We hired Kelley for Day of Coordination.
In January of this year we got an email from the team asking if we wanted to connect. We deferred to use our phone call closer to our date (in September). I then sent Kelley our vendor list in June. We agreed to touch base in July to start doing the timeline. In July, I went with my florist to our venue. I had questions I thought Kelley could help with, so I emailed her. Multiple emails and phone calls went unanswered. When Kelley finally got back to me mid august she explained that she was caught up with “fires” from other clients. We agreed to our timeline call at the end of August (which went wonderfully).
September rolled around and it was very hard to get a hold of Kelley. Coordinating my vendors wasn’t really happening, and I felt like I was doing the job we were paying Kelley to do. I sent her an email expressing my frustration and disappointment which she profusely apologized for.
This brings us to 2 weeks before our wedding when things were still not handled. Phone calls went unanswered and texts were sent by Kelley in response. Our Justice of the Peace broke her hip 2 days before the wedding and when I called Kelley for support, she didn’t answer or respond for hours.
We did a walkthrough of the venue the day before our wedding. It was for Kelley to understand our vision (kind of late for that). She said she was coming with a team but she brought her husband (which she emailed my other vendors to explain that he was there in case she went into labor early). I’m confused why qualified team member where not brought since our wedding was clearly beyond Kelley’s capacity.
Day of she called me to ask about what chairs belonged in what location. She never did a run through with the bridal party of our ceremony so 20 minutes before it was supposed to begin I had to tell everyone their places and walking order. We asked her multiple times to usher guests to the ceremony (not have them inside or coming to the bridal sweet). She was pretty much MIA. We then saw her once during the reception where we asked her to put out more blankets and to try to get the tent flaps down because it was cold.
Kelley did do a beautiful job setting up our vision. I will give her that. The details would not have been in place without her and our amazing florist.
After the fact we did ask to be reimbursed for half of the fee since I did most of the work. Kelley did agree which shows us she was willing to make it somewhat “right.” It’s just unfortunate because our things weren’t packed up correctly either and half our decor was destroyed. We honestly should have been given a full refund for our time and frustrations. Not to mention I made all the decor that was destroyed:( We were super disappointed considering all her fabulous reviews.
Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience working with Kelley. I hate writing bad reviews, but I'm doing so in hopes that it will help you avoid what we had to deal with.
For context:
- We paid $7K for the full service package
- We actively loved most of our vendors, and this is the only negative review we're writing
- We addressed our disappointment with the service we were getting several times throughout the year and to her credit, Kelley admitted she was over-subscribed with clients and was more engaged for a period of time. But then she would revert back to status quo within a few weeks.
PLANNING: Throughout the entire process, we felt like we were pulling teeth trying to move things forward. We chose her for her Hudson Valley vendor connections, warehouse of existing decor (which was great and likely saved us hundreds of dollars in decor) and glowing reviews. But we had an entirely different experience than the other reviews. Rather than reduce our stress and be a partner in planning, Kelley's lack of communication and initiative was our main stressor. Kelley would go weeks without responding to emails or texts. And when she finally responded, she would give half answers. She would say she was reaching out to vendors, then never did. And if she did, she often stopped short of finalizing things and didn't copy us on communications (despite several requests to keep us CC'd on all vendor emails), so we couldn't actually push things forward ourselves. It took months to lock in vendors - some of that was due to vendors being slow to respond, but often it was because Kelley failed to reach out or follow up. We'd wait weeks for her to review something (e.g., vendor contracts, our floor plan), and then she'd send responses that made it clear she didn't even take the time to review it. When interviewing planners I specifically asked for her help to stay on budget and negotiate pricing with vendors, but it was clear her loyalty was with the vendor vs us and wouldn't push them on pricing, forcing us to do so. Having Kelley working with us added a ton of stress--not only did we have to do the same amount of work as if we didn't have a planner, but we had to manage her as well. Dozens of extra emails, hours, and stress. And so many wedding week-of - and even day-of work we had to do, that we could have solved weeks or months in advance.
DAY OF: We thought this is where Kelley would shine. Unfortunately we were wrong. She did lead the reception decor which looked stunning, but was MIA for us and our family. Our wedding started at 4pm. As of 1pm, no one had heard from her and she was not responding to texts or phone calls. Nightmare scenario. We had to send family members in cars to go find her 15 minutes before our first look. We ended up leaning on our other vendors (photographers, makeup) to help keep the day on track. You can imagine how surprised we were to see she had spent time posting Instagram stories *of someone else's wedding* on our wedding day.
Overall, not only did we not nearly get our money's worth, but honestly I think it would have been easier to have just done it all ourselves. It certainly would have been less frustrating.
It’s hard to know where to start in writing a review of Kelley & her team! To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. Our wedding was a dream and honestly at its root was everything Kelley and her husband Greg did to bring the vision to life and keep us fully in the moment throughout the weekend. Kelley was willing to do whatever needed to be done - bring a full inventory of supplies, guide our first time officiant through the nerves, run to the store for any forgotten items or drive us in their car to misc. photo spots (and this list is just scratching the surface). Simply put Kelley and her team are just good people, the type that you want there supporting you on your big day! Thanks a billion Kelley & Greg!
Kelley was the quiet, understated, get-shit-done rockstar of our wedding. We hired her for event planning and design. I liked her from our initial phone call, where she listened to all my jumbled early wedding plans. When we met in person a few months later, she had all of those ideas written down on paper — so she truly has attention for detail. She truly shines in the week before/day of the wedding. We had a 90 minute phone call with her just going through all of our plans with a fine tooth comb. She made a ridiculously detailed timeline, layout, vendor contact sheet, and packing list. She coordinated with each of our vendors so we didn’t have to, which was one less stress for us. 90% of the decor from our wedding came from her inventory, and anything we had bought she (and her awesome husband Gregory and her sweet assistant Laniya) would set up for us. I had the wedding decor of my dreams thanks to her. I just kept telling people that I’m not sure how I would have had a wedding without Kelley. On rehearsal day, she wrangled my wedding party and family and showed them what we needed to do. Day-of, she and her team worked magic. There was a mixup with transportation, and Kelley just *fixed it.* I didn’t find out until the day after our wedding that we were short one groomsmen boutonniere, and my husband said “Kelley just made him one with extra greenery and electrical tape.” I mean, come on. If anyone told me that we were missing something like that on my wedding day, I probably would’ve freaked out. But no worries, because Kelley had it handled. My husband and I just looked at each other after it was all over and knew there was no way our day could’ve gone as smoothly as it did without her. I’m Type A, and her attention to detail was incredible. She’s also just super cool and down to earth. We can’t thank her enough!! I told all of my bridal party “if anything happens, call Kelley,” and they took that to heart. Our entire weekend was filled with “Kelley can fix that!!” or when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, my groomsmen said “I’ll call Kelley if you don’t chill out.” Seriously, she is the best. Professional, efficient, gets it done, and super sweet. I can't recommend her enough.
Kelley & her team were nothing short of amazing for our wedding! They were essential in a seamless, stress-free weekend - directing guests, setting up all of our décor, coordinating our wedding party for the ceremony and most importantly, providing to us a stress free wedding day. I cannot thank Kelley enough for all of her hard work and dedication to our special day. It truly was a pleasure to completely feel like all my needs were taken care of (food, drink direction!), any problems had solutions, and to see our vision come to life. I sincerely enjoyed working with her when planning details - she is SO organized and on top of everything, yet somehow calm and relaxed - you can't help but feel excited! Just to mention one or two special things - Kelley took some amazing photos for us during set-up, first looks, first dances etc. and sent them to us the next day. It was such a wonderful surprise being able to relieve our day immediately and see us from another point of view. I think I have watched our first look and dance clip 10x already. There are so many wonderful things to say about Kelley and A La Carte Events! We felt instantly connected and comfortable with Kelley from our first phone call. She understood the vibe we were going for from the very beginning. We hired her in May 2020 for our September 2021 and truly enjoyed working with her over the months that came to make our vision a reality. Kelley was organized, calm, collected and enthusiastic at every step (even during what may have been the busiest wedding season EVER). She made great vendor recommendations (especially the band and photographer!) and always had great tricks of the trade and wedding etiquette advice for us when we weren't quite sure what we were doing . She and her team thought of everything on our big day - big and small. From capturing videos and photos of special moments, taking care of last minute requests, managing small hiccups seamlessly to overseeing our vendors she and her team did a fantastic job so we could just relax and enjoy the day. We also felt like we were working with a good friend. She is a sweet and genuine person who added real joy to our whole wedding planning experience. We loved working with her and you will too!
We cannot thank Kelley and her team enough! They made our day seamless - ensuring that all the decor matched our vision, making sure the ceremony ran smoothly, coordinating with all our vendors! We hired Kelley as our day of coordinator, and I do not think we can describe how AMAZING Kelley was to work with. Kelley was extremely thorough, detail orientated and professional! Kelley was also our officiant, so it made the day that much more amazing for us! Kelley's suggestions and planning are second to none! Kelley and Gregory put our minds at ease as soon as they arrived Friday for set up of the wedding to the last minute of our wedding day Saturday! Kelley was super friendly and understanding to all our needs! I would 100 percent recommend A La Carte Events to anyone!
We are so glad we hired Kelley to help with event design and day-of coordination for our wedding! I knew when I started wedding planning that I wanted a day-of-coordinator as well as someone who could help along the way with designing a beautiful event, and Kelley was able to deliver that and more! Throughout the entire planning process, Kelley was so helpful and supportive - from recommending other incredible vendors, to brainstorming back-up plans due to the pandemic, to explaining all of the details and decor needed to make my vision of the day come to life (honestly, I would've been nowhere near as prepared without her guidance...she knows everything!). She even traveled to attend venue walkthroughs and floral design meetings with me; I loved having her input! In the days and weeks leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day, Kelley made sure that we didn't have to stress or worry about a thing. She created an incredibly detailed spreadsheet with our timeline and other information about our event (this came in so handy!) and liaised with other vendors on our behalf so that we could scramble to get other last-minute stuff taken care of. On the day-of, she kept everyone on schedule and made sure everything unfolded seamlessly. If we needed anything, she was never far away and always on top of it! She set up all of the decor beautifully and made everything look just how I'd pictured it in my head! Because of Kelley, we were able to totally relax and just enjoy ourselves on our wedding day. Highly recommend working with Kelley and her team!
I truly do not know where to begin with Kelley. From the first call that we had after I got engaged, I knew our styles would mesh well. She is not only an amazing planner, she is a genuine human being and someone I could trust with all of my wedding day needs. She came with me to rental appointments, venue walk throughs, and final floral meetings as well as answered all of my questions & concerns. I am so happy that we chose Kelley as our month of coordinator & for her design help!
We had to change our plans from indoors to outdoors within 3 weeks due to COVID and Kelley was on it right away! On the day of the wedding there was a setback at our venue, of no one's fault, right before we were getting ready to take pictures which carried into the beginning of the ceremony. Kelley & Tara adapted on the spot and pulled everything off without a hitch! My bridesmaids walked down the aisle without bouquets due to the setback at our venue and Kelley & Tara were able to go get them before the ceremony ended, get lunch for the bridal party, set everything up at the venue, and make it back to the ceremony so that my bridesmaids could have their bouquets walking out of the church. All within an hour! I do not know what we would have done without their support & guidance throughout this whole process. If you are considering a day of, month of, full package planner, Kelley & her team of supportive, caring professionals are the ones for you. Thank you so much for making our day so special & memorable! I will genuinely miss working with you! :)
Where do I even begin?! Our wedding was postponed due to COVID. Prior to our postponement, we had the majority of everything planned. However, with about 4 months left to go until our new wedding date, I started panicking and realized how many details had to come together to have my version of perfect for our big day. This is when I went onto search for a day of coordinator and immediately came across Kelley and her team. All of the reviews said how amazing she was and said to hire her immediately. Which is exactly what we did.! My fiancé was hesitant in hiring another vendor, mainly because he had felt we had everything done. However, after our initial meeting with Kelley and after our timeline phone call, he said that this was the best money we had spent. My only regret was not hiring Kelley and her team sooner! It would have saved me a lot of stress and anxiety.
I can confidently say that our dream wedding came to life because of Kelley. My fiancé and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding and magically dance the night away, because my mind was at ease. And my mind was at ease because of Kelley and her team. Through this wedding planning process, I learned a lot about how much of a Type A personality I have. And Kelley was able to work with me in every aspect. I trusted her with all my heart and listened to her advice. She was so easy to talk to! Whenever I had a question or needed a recommendation, I would shoot her a text and she always replied. We were also able to get so much of our decor through her (table numbers, candles, signage, etc).
Thank you to Kelley and her team for all of their tremendous work before, on, and during our wedding day. If you are questioning whether you need a full or part time wedding planner, or a day of coordinator, I strongly encourage you to get in touch with Kelley and to work with her! You will not be disappointed. In fact, you will be thrilled to see how much easier the process gets.
The very first thing we did in wedding planning was book our venue (Seminary Hill Cidery) and the second thing we did was panic when we realized how much we would be doing on our own and how many pieces we didn't know anything about. We asked our venue for a recommendation for a planner and let's just say it was clear that Kelley and team were the ONLY choice worth pursuing and we are SO glad we did! Kelley's magic really shines in her day-of (/weekend of) coordination. Our gorgeous outdoor plans were plagued with storm warnings and throughout the weekend she easing us through plans A, B, C.... DEFG... literally through our scheduled ceremony (where she saved the day and the dress by carrying my train and holding an umbrella over me as we sprinted through a field after it started downpoaring mid-ceremony). There were very few things about our big day that turned out how we expected them to but I cannot imagine them having gone any better than they did and that is in no small part thanks to Kelley's amazing planning (and back-up planning) to make sure the things that mattered most to us still shone through despite set backs. If you're considering NOT getting a planner, let me tell you it's a big mistake!! At the very least, you need Kelley by your side holding your dress when the unexpected comes.
Kelley is truly an angel! I honestly don’t know how my wedding would have happened without her help and guidance. I like many, am a covid bride that was supposed to get married in 2020 but had to postpone 3x change vendors, venues etc but Kelley was there through every step of the way. She always kept in contact, always answered my 1000 questions and always kept me calm. The week leading up to my wedding we found out it was going to rain and I was pretty devastated after everything we had gone through with planning this wedding but Kelley reassured me everything was going to go well and work out perfectly. BOY was she right! I had the best day of my life and it’s truly all because of her. Kelley is worth all the money in the world! I literally felt like after all this time we became best friends haha she literally always had my best interest at hand and always had the best ideas! She literally re planned my wedding 48 hours before my wedding day and it literally looked like flower heaven because of her! The tables, color scheme, florals the flow of the day etc was all because of her and I owe her the world. Everyone at the wedding kept asking what’s one thing we’re so glad to have and my husband and I both said, Kelley hands down. I’m so thankful and lucky to have found her through a friend, she made me not hate wedding planning and truly remember that a little rain never hurt anybody. AND my pictures came out amazing! Don’t walk but run to grab her for your wedding day, you’ll thank me later ♥️
Kelley was an immense help with our wedding, handing the coordination for the month leading up to the event. She helped us nail down our timeline and navigate various vendor needs. On the day of, she got everything set up and arranged perfectly and was constantly ahead of the game. Her enthusiasm and optimism made it a breeze to work through various decisions along the whole process. We would highly recommend her to anyone.
From our first phone call with Kelley we knew she had to be our wedding planner! We hired Kelley as our partial wedding planner to help us re-plan our wedding to a backyard wedding. She was so enthusiastic about our ideas and what we wanted to do and she had experience planning backyard weddings (her own included!). She gave us so many recommendations on food, florists, bakeries, transportation, rentals & so much more as our ceremony and reception were now in two different states (NY & CT). Having to re-plan our wedding due to COVID was stressful and overwhelming until Kelley. All of our negative feelings towards our wedding completely vanished in those 3.5 months that Kelley helped us. No one said being a covid bride was easy, but having Kelley on our side during this trying time was a god send. In December, my fiancé and I had to make the difficult decision to cancel our dream venue and plan to have our wedding outside in a tent. After many tears, I searched for someone who could help make our wedding the perfect day ever. After my first phone call with Kelley, I knew she was the right fit for us. We loved working with Kelley. Although we only engaged her for "day of" services, she provided us with guidance and check-ins throughout our planning process, including when we postponed our wedding and then re-planned it at half-scale due to Covid 19. Leading up to our wedding, Kelley confirmed details with our other vendors and made sure we had everything covered, and during our wedding Kelley made sure everything ran smoothly from a big picture perspective while also individually handling many details. And she managed all this for a wedding with a very unique structure/schedule in response to Covid. We are so glad we decided to hire a coordinator, and we are even happier it was Kelley!
We hired Kelley as our month-of event coordinator + help regarding rentals. We (like most covid couples) had to go to plan b just a few months out from our wedding date, going from having our wedding at an actual wedding venue to having it at a space where we had to bring EVERYTHING in.
I knew we would need some help when it came to understanding the rental process as well an actual day of coordination and Kelley was nothing less than kind, supportive and helpful. She was extremely communicative, always making herself available for a text or call to simply answer a quick question or to provide support during a stressful time.
She came to our new venue a few times before our actual wedding day and then was also there the day before for our rehearsal + welcome event. Then the day of she was there from start to finish. She was wonderful in relation to keeping our event on track, kept all parties of both of our families happy and even sewed my broken bustle up multiple times throughout the evening!
When looking for a planner/coordinator, Kelley will not only keep you and your event on track but will be there for you and your fiancé along the way.
10/10!! I loved working with Kelley at A La Carte for our wedding! I am a very organized, planning type bride that for a long time I felt I didn’t need a wedding planner but once I realized how much really went into weddings, I just knew I needed Kelley on my side! I chose a day-of-coordinating package which I am so happy I did. You can guarantee something will go wrong on your wedding day, it’s unfortunate but it’s bound to happen...first off, leading up to the wedding knowing I would have Kelley if anything went wrong saved me so much stress! Second off, when things did go wrong on my wedding day, Kelley was like my fairy god mother!!!! Kelley and her assistant Molly were so helpful, organized, there when I needed them, and more importantly so nice and kind! If you are hesitant on getting a wedding planner or a day of coordinator, I highly suggest you DO IT and you hire A LA CARTE!!!!!!
Do yourself a favor and hire Kelley for all things wedding planning related! I started off wedding planning in 2018 and had no idea where to start. I very fortunately found Kelley when I was stumbling through wedding vendors and she was a life savor. She helped my now husband and I plan our engagement party, our initial wedding in March 2020 then all modified plans for our postponement date of Sept. 12. She's so creative, kind, and genuinely knows how to look out for you as a couple and the authenticity of the day you are working so hard to plan. It's easy to get lost in the world of wedding planning but having Kelley on your team will ensure the best possible outcome for you, your spouse, and your guests. I loved all of our planning meetings and I know Pete and I would not have had the best day that we had without Kelley.
We are a professional band and have worked with many many wedding planners. But it is rare to find someone like Kelley and
A’ La Carte who are so devoted to their event, their couples ,and know how to create such a great mix of fun and elegance. As a band manager , I breathe easier knowing she is at the helm of our complicated affairs. She is top shelf and she should be on the top of your list when looking at a planner. No question at all - this should be your choice!
This is a pre-review of sorts because our original wedding plans unfortunately had to be postponed until 2021 due to the pandemic. We hired Kelley last fall for her month/day-of coordination services for our wedding of about 200 people. I remember I hit it off with her instantly on the phone, she was so warm and easy to talk to. I was also so impressed with how flexible she was to tailor a package to fit our exact needs for the wedding. We already had a coordinator that came with our wedding venue but knew we would need some additional help to keep everything under control and stress free on the day. Even though our wedding hasn't happened yet, Kelley has been a wonderful partner throughout this entire process. She is kind, enthusiastic and helpful in everything that she does for you. Especially during this crazy time of planning a wedding and postponing and then postpoing again, all during a pandemic. Kelley's support throughout it all has meant so much to us. She is someone who truly cares about her clients and wants to do everything she can to make their wedding day everything that they had imagined. From the advice and tips she offers on her instagram to one on one conversations she's a pro at it all. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with her so far and cannot wait to work with her and her team on our big wedding celebration next year.
I can wholeheartedly say that having Kelley as our day of planner was 100% the best decision we ever made! We were two months out from our wedding and I felt that there were so many loose ends that needed to be tied that only a professional could truly handle. Kelley did that and so much more. From day one, she had the perfect answer to every wedding related question and the perfect solution to any problem that we faced. One of my biggest stressors was the timeline for the day which she created with absolute perfection. She went above and beyond being a day of planner. She became my rock for all things wedding related and was always there when I needed her expert advice. As the weekend grew closer she assured me that she was there if we needed ANYTHING. I still had to print out our seating chart and was almost out of time to do so. Kelley helped by creating, ordering, and printing it the night before the big day. That right there is going above and beyond and I will forever be so grateful!
Kelley was in constant contact with all of our vendors and made the big day run more smoothly than I could have imagined. It was truly incredible! Everything was so organized. The moment she walked in the room I would immediately feel a sense of calm. She always had everything under control and her energy reflected that. Saying that she is absolutely incredible at what she does is an understatement. We were the lucky ones to have her on our side! Kelley is truly the BEST! No need to look any further. I had a great vibe from her on our initial call - she asked great questions! I only wanted a “day-of” planner and she didn’t try to up-sell me on “full planning” like the other planners I had spoken to did. She will ask you how much or how little you’d like her to be involved and is very respectful of what you want. Kelley quickly became indispensable! She was super quick to respond to my texts and calls, made great suggestions, and was very organized. She set up an amazing Google sheet with our timeline, vendor contacts, and day-of details so that we wouldn’t forget anything. She even came to the country club for a full walk-through a few weeks before the wedding to make sure she, the venue coordinator, and I were all on the same page. About a month out, she took over all of the communication with my vendors so I didn’t have to deal with coordinating day-of deliveries and drop-offs which was amazing!! I particularly appreciated her taking one problem vendor completely off my plate. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch! She brought an assistant on the day-of and the two of them took a very efficient “divide-and- conquer” approach ensuring all of the logistics of the day were on schedule. So many of my guests were telling me how helpful and friendly they both were too! A wedding planner wasn’t originally in my budget, but Kelley was reasonably priced and honestly, the best money I spent! My favorite thing about Kelley is her calming presence yet ability to get sh*t done which is both hard to find and is much needed in a wedding planner!

Kelley was honestly the BEST decision we made for our wedding! We hired Kelley as our day-of event coordinator. She went far above and beyond our expectations with several prep calls starting about a month out from the wedding and providing a GoogleDoc with the most amazing schedule and attention to detail. She was on-site beginning the day before the wedding to assist with setup, run through the schedule and lead the rehearsal. She and her husband were both on-site throughout the wedding day and were soooo on top of EVERYTHING! My in-laws have continued to compliment them after the wedding on how well they anticipated every little detail! They also went above and beyond with the post-wedding breakdown, which made my and my husband's day so much easier the day after the wedding!
I cannot thank Kelley enough!
Don't look anywhere else for your coordinator needs!

Kelley was my saving grace on my wedding day! She was truly my rock that day, keeping me sane when many of my vendors were failing to do what they were supposed to. My wedding had many moving parts but Kelley was able to keep an eye on everything and stay on top of other said vendors. Additionally, the whole process leading up to my day-of, Kelley was exceptionally organized, linking all my vendors on an email chain, and keeping everyone in the loop of day-of-timeline changes. I am sure my wedding was one of her more stressful jobs, but she aced it!

Kelley was an amazing day-of coordinator, she seemed to be everywhere at once and was always there to make sure that everything went exactly to plan! She worked with both us very early on to clarify our vision for the wedding, and was full of helpful suggestions when we were unsure what we wanted. Kelley went above and beyond the call of duty as a day-of coordinator and used her industry connections to suggest local vendors when we asked for her help. As we got close to the day, Kelley worked with us to hammer out the fine details for the wedding, and came up with all the backup/contingency plans. On our wedding day, she and her husband were the dynamic duo, coordinating the timing for the processional, rearranging parking, finding loose family members, and making sure we got a chance to eat! We were lucky to work with her, could not recommend her enough.

We hired Kelley with just 10 weeks to plan our wedding start to finish and were delighted to find that she was willing to go above and beyond to make our vision come to life and she immediately got to work! Kelley helped us select and manage our vendors and the entire set up of our wedding. We were married at our home so we were relieved that she could help us physically create a space for our ceremony and reception that flowed so well and was beautiful. She and her team worked diligently to set up everything from lights, draping, and all the table top items (place settings, flowers, our entire sweets tables, and more) and even picked up our desserts from Queens so we didn't have to worry about anything!

Kelley was the best choice we made wedding/life related- as her assistance everything wedding related made our lives that much easier and so enjoyable. Kelley truly knows the in’s and out of the industry. She was so personable and easy to connect with right from the first phone call. Although we had our main vendors booked, Kelley helped make the multiple pinterest boards come to life, answer random wedding questions, and assist in day before and day of crisis. (The day of the wedding my contacts fogged over and couldn't be cleaned and Kelley’s assistant drove 25 mins back to my house to get my new contacts- completely saved the day). Our wedding day was seamless from start to finish with her set up, constant attention to detail throughout, and break down of everything. Kelley was the second vendor we selected and the only thing we would do differently is that she wasn't our first. I could go on and on about how supportive, clear, professional, forthcoming, timely, creative and attentive she was - but there is only so much space and what I can say really struck my husband and I with her is that she is REAL! Upon our search for planners we dealt with some serious egos along the way (as well as RIDICULOUS price tags - not the case but I can tell you she is worth A TON) - when we met Kelley we knew she would not only be our planner but our friend. On the verge of a wedding planning meltdown, I decided to reach out to some planners to see how hiring someone might help. I felt an instant connection with Kelley as soon as she responded to my plea. She was so responsive and enthusiastic about making our vision come to life. Throughout the process she was prompt, professional, and insanely organized. I felt so secure knowing she was handling the coordination with our vendors and kept us on track with our timelines. She was so generous with her time, advice, and sharing items from her own wedding and collection for our event.
Kelley and Meghan could not have done a more spectacular job during the wedding weekend. As the pictures are pouring in, we are blown away by their attention to detail to everything. Throughout the night, Kelley and Meghan always made sure we had what we needed, from water, to a plate of food, to putting out all the little fires that come up no matter how well we've planned. We received so many compliments on their hard work and kindness. Guests dubbed them "your secret service," for their stealth handling of everything. Kelley even gave us a crash course on cake cutting as we stood there stumped!
My husband and I reflect on our wedding day and cannot believe our good fortune to have been blessed to work with so many wonderful vendors. Kelley and Meghan are not only incredible at what they do, but they are both fantastic human beings. We were honored to have them celebrate our wedding with us. From the first phone call with Kelley, I knew she would be a great fit for my needs. I had a relaxed event, but needed help executing the day because as the bride you can’t be in 5 places at once. We had a beautiful ceremony and outdoor games planned, and it happened to rain the entire day. Kelley was quick on her feet and had a great design eye and was able to quickly adapt with the changes we discussed and allowed me to enjoy the day without worries. Her professionalism is top notch and she is unbelievably positive and radiant. She made sure I was comfortable and fed the entire event. When we started planning our DYI at-home wedding, we thought that we would be able to tackle everything. We were wrong. In stepped Kelley! From the moment she first met with us, she calmed our nerves, reassured us on our vision, and helped realize everything that we wanted to come to life. My daughter and I were greeted very sweetly by Kelley who immediately put us at ease. Chatting with her about my daughter’s wedding progressed to the point where we enjoyed a wonderful vibe amongst us. We were on the same page and Kelley well understood the budget, direction and feeling my daughter hoped to have on her big day. As time progressed towards the big day we were in contact with Kelley on all the decisions we had employed her company to manage. My son recently got married on Long Island in an outdoor venue. A la Carte did an outstanding job co-ordinating, setting up and running the show so that the bride did not have to do anything but enjoy her day. It also took a lot of pressure off my son and other family members so we could all enjoy the day. Every detail was attended to with great precision. They anticipated bad weather and had a back up plan. Very fair price, excellent service and lovely people. I highly recommend A La Carte and will definitely use them in the future.

Kelley and A La Carte are at the top of the bridal game. Kelley comes from a very extensive event planning and logistics background, so absolutely nothing escapes her. After working with her I don't know how I could have executed my festivities without a planner - for all of those brides considering it, you will NOT regret it! Kelley made sure that it was always my fiance and I's vision coming first and foremost, while making sure the stress of actually doing that was never felt by us. Where ideas are big and grand (and probably a little high-maintenance), she handles it with ease; where you get stuck and can't come to a decision or just don't have a clue what your vision is, she will help steer you down the path to something beautiful and perfect.
