endors, to the execution! She is very well connected with many vendors across Maui which was so helpful because we weren’t entirely sure where to start. It’s evident that Sandra and her team and well-seasoned and have years of experience under their belt; every question we asked was met with a prompt and thorough answer, and she would often give us new ideas to consider too. Beyond being a supportive guide and calming presence while we planned our wedding, Sandra also assumed every role she needed to make the day run smoothly. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the festivities presently because we knew Sandra would ensure our vision came to life. Before we walked down the aisle, Sandra fine tuned all of the details, flower arrangements, and decor—everything came together even more beautifully than we could have imagined! We are so grateful for all of Sandra’s diligent work and expertise. If you are getting married on Maui, we would absolutely recommend Sandra and her team. We are so grateful that we only have positive memories to look back on, and will cherish those beautiful moments forever!

have asked for a better team! From the beginning Sandra was awesome with recommendations and ideas! She made the wedding process so easy, and always stayed on top of everything! The vendors she recommended were phenomenal as well! We are beyond happy with our decision to use AMWD for our wedding and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting married in Maui! Thank you Sandra, Joanna, Kate, and Miyana for a beautiful day!!

d with many Maui-based Wedding planners and Sandra shined so bright, she was the obvious choice for us!
Early in our planning, we had our chosen venue double their prices that was more than we could afford. Sandra helped us find an equally beautiful venue that fell within our price range! Planning a destination wedding can be really difficult but Sandra happily accommodated us with countless 1:1 phone calls where we could plan out every detail! We also had an opportunity to visit Maui for on a wedding planning trip! During our visit, Sandra made sure we could meet with all of our vendors face to face. We knew she was connected with the best of vendors but after that trip, we were so confined in all of our selections and it was abundantly clear how respected Sandra was on the island! On our wedding day, Sandra’a team created such a beautiful space! Every detail of the wedding went seamlessly and according to plan! She, along with Joanna, we’re the perfect wedding day coordinators. In addition to that great duo, Sandra also provided us with a day-of wedding specialist, Courtney! Courtney was an absolute gem! She was prompt, prepared, and calm! She made our day go so smoothly and we always felt very taken care of whenever she was around! Kudos to Sandra and her whole team of wedding warriors! We couldn’t imagine a better team for the most special day of our lives!!! Thank you!!

uling calls with her was super easy and she was very open to a lot of our last-minute changes. Sandra was kind enough to receive a lot of packages on our behalf and store them properly for us. We also had two events before the wedding day (typical Indian wedding) which we invited her to and she not only showed up with a colleague but they also helped out a lot with setting up everything and helping out anywhere possible. She is a real professional and working with her was a pleasure. We highly recommend her and the team of A Maui Wedding Day!

The wedding day was nearly perfect. The decorations for the ceremony and the reception were gorgeous. We were so happy with all the vendors Sandra connected us with, especially Rev Joe Miles, Dmitri and Sandra (photography) and Sugar Beach Events Catering. Sandra took care of every single detail on the wedding day - I didn't have to worry about anything, not even the several antibiotics I needed to take on the day. Sandra kept a timer and brought me my medication when needed. That was huge! Sandra also drove my flower girl and her mother to the venue separately so my flower girl wouldn't have such a big day ahead of her. This was wonderful.
The week of the wedding Sandra replied to every question and inquiry nearly immediately. I definitely felt like Sandra's priority at that time.
While planning the wedding we had some frustrations with communicating with Sandra. With the time difference and international phone call charges, we only communicated through email. Often we would wait for two months before receiving a reply to an email. I had to remind Sandra several times of specific things we did not want so we would not have extra charges (no DJ, wedding cake or boutonnieres). However, I did have some changes made to the plans when a bridesmaid pulled out of the wedding and Sandra was accommodating to these changes.
We also had more charges than expected on the final invoice. My husband took meticulous notes on every expenditure and we were charged more than we had expected. When we questioned this, we simply were told "the charges are correct". We still don't understand why we were charged more.
Overall, for the amazing service we received in the week leading up to and the day of the wedding I am happy with Sandra's service. I would suggest that brides hiring A Maui Wedding Day expect some communication issues, and watch carefully your expenditures!

ct with us throughout our 2 years of planning.
On the big day, she had a team to keep us in the loop. Shirley and Brandy were awesome with keeping in contact with us that day. I can definitely say that I was amazed with the overall look of our wedding day. We had our venue enclosed in an outdoor location and I was in awe and in shock that everything(even up to the details of my bouquet!) was PERFECT. LITERALLY! MY PINTEREST WEDDING HAS COME TRUE!
The overall experience was 5 star, hands down.
Mahalo Nui A Maui Wedding Day.

ut the wedding. We just wanted a beach wedding with our toes in the sand, and only had a couple details that were very important to us.
When we first met Sandra, she was very organized and picked a beautiful location for us. Too bad mother nature didn't listen and it was extremely windy on our wedding day. She called us in the morning and suggested another beach that was very close, we thought just as beautiful, and much more protected for the wind. When we showed up everything was set up, including the details we asked for. We are very thankful for choosing her to do the wedding.
Everything else she chose was great as well. My now wife loved her flowers, the musician was great, and the officiant made us feel very comfortable and did a wonderful job. My wife also commented several times on the lady Sandra had come to do her hair and how happy she was with that.
As I said before, from the start we felt comfortable with Sandra as soon as we met her. It was wonderful to not have to worry about the wedding and we could just enjoy Hawaii with our friends and family who made the trip, and we can't imagine how the wedding could have ended up better.

tination wedding bride and really went above and beyond in helping us plan every detail exactly how we dreamed it should be! She was so professional and helped in so many ways. Our Wedding was everything we wanted and more!!! :) Thank you Sandra and team!!!! We loved working with you all!

m, attention to detail, and great communication is a big reason why we find working with her so stress free. Thank you Sandra for planning my wedding and thank you for continue to be a trusted vendor with our company. I highly recommend "A Maui Wedding Day" for your coordination needs.
Frustration-Disappointment-Stressful-Confusing- just a few words to describe the experience we had with Sandra as my daughter and i planned her wedding. Almost everything we asked...
for was executed slightly differently than planned. ...different high boys, different bouquets and boutonnieres, different colored up lighting ( purple not white) , and on and on. She even left the store price tags on the pillows and cushions that were purchased for the events lounge area. Guest's welcome packs were filled and partially distributed with only half of the contents we sent to her for inclusion. At a certain point, we took most of the detail out of her hands( brides maids quickly remade all the bouquets wraps and made new boutonnieres with flowers from the venue garden) and had an incredible wedding DESPITE her lack of planning and coordination skills- She was extremely difficult to communicate with and her invoicing process is equally confusing & difficult- there comes a point where its easier to pay her than try to figure it out. She actually chased my husband and I down the venue path at one point during the end of the wedding reception to ask for payment for the last minute tenting...could that not have waited until the next day? Just one more example of flawed thought process. Overall, we were very disappointed

d again they'd use Sandra & her company. Every thing I requested was honored. She also contributed w/her own ideas that were very valuable. She made my special day exceed my childhood fantasy. Sandra was always available whenever I needed her day or night. I can't express how much I appreciate everything you & your vendors did to make my unforgettable day go without a hitch!

And we did, and by my brides acknowledgement and all the family and guests, it was flawless! Best day of our lives! I can't recommend anyone higher. This was perfect. The details, the communication, the plans and all the little extras, spectacular! With much appreciation, Aloha Sandra, thank you so much! Kai and Keiko

ook. I decided to go with Sandra because she was responsive (came to meet me on a moment's notice when I flew to Maui to check out the wedding venue), as well as very affordable. I now realize why it is important to have at least a day of coordinator, especially when planning a destination wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Sandra provided vendor suggestions to supplement my own research. I will be forever grateful to her for introducing me to Rev. Joe Miles, who stepped up to become our wedding officiant when we decided to make a change two weeks before our wedding. She also thought of simple, but very important things, like having our musician bring an extra clip on microphone for the officiant and groom. Our guests would not have heard our vows without her suggestion. She also made sure our DIY flowers and decor was set up. I totally underestimated how busy I would be on the day of the wedding with hair, makeup, and coordinating last minute things. I thought I would be able to oversee a lot of the decoration by myself, but there was no way to do it with all that was going on. Thankfully, Sandra was there to take care of all of it for me! The only thing I wished Sandra would have done more of was push me to make decisions sooner and have more of a defined plan going in to the wedding day. I made a lot of decisions at the very last minute and on the fly, and ran out of time at the end because of this. That said, our wedding was beautiful and everything came together thanks to Sandra's help!

g was arranged without a hitch. I had quite a few special requests that needed to be managed before and during the evening: a gift I sent ahead, special arrangement for music, timing of the dinner, the location, catering, and a number of other things.
I talked with 5 different planners. I settled on Sandra because she quickly figured out what would meet our needs, she was responsive and she was easy to work with. Sandra handled everything perfectly. We did not have to lift a finger that evening.
You really cannot go wrong with Maui Weddings! Thanks Sandra, for a perfectly arranged and memorable evening.

ntion to detail, my experience working with her was the exact opposite. Working with her was more stressful than helpful and that's the exact opposite of what I needed planning a destination wedding.
When I did get on island and got to meet her, she was nice. And she did lend me a conch shell for my flower girl and provided vases for my candy bar which was awesome. That was really helpful and I appreciated that she did that.
Putting those kind deeds aside, communicating with her was very difficult and there was an issue with my invoice total which I just ended up paying despite it being incorrect. When I would speak with her over the phone during the planning of my wedding, each time I had a question, she wouldn't answer it. She would just say, "uh - huh" with no real response. My experience working with Sandra was one of frustration and disappointment.
Our wedding coordinator was FABULOUS. She took care of all the decorating and details the day of the wedding while encouraging me to just relax with my bridesmaids. Me and my (now...
husband) are clueless when it comes to all this wedding stuff, however our unfamiliarity went unnoticed as she was always there to prepare us, cue us, and do all the behind scenes prep. She was our right hand woman. Since our wedding & reception was really casual, I didn't think we needed assistance with wedding coordination. However I realized afterwards I absolutely needed her that day and could not have been more pleased with the day and the venue. She is every bride's dream.
our wedding was short and simple, Sandra was very very stealth everything aligned and I was very happy. She was referred by our officiant and well deserved.
