He brought the energy we we looking for to our reception. He truly matched our energy and our vibes throughout the entire day/ night. Everyone at our wedding had so much fun!

ted setting up at the wrong place in the venue and I (the bride) had to tell them they were in the wrong location. They also were not knowledgeable about the processional songs and played my processional song first. They also did not read the room during our wedding and made inappropriate announcements regarding getting drunk because the bar was closing in a crowd that was not the proper setting. The DJ also had a hard time reading the dance floor when guests weren't feeling a song anymore. We also put that we did not want requested songs and they did them anyway. We were very unhappy with our experience.

So there is a bit of hope and prayer in the planning process, but it worked out incredibly well for us. They obviously know what they are doing!

You don't get to choose your DJ, but our DJ Jake was absolutely fantastic! He was kind, on top of things, played all of our must play songs, and didn't stray from our curated playlist which we really appreciated! They also were very affordable and have sales every now and then if you are on a budget. 10/10 would recommend A Music Plus for your wedding or event!

We did not get assigned a dj until 1 1/2 weeks before the wedding, and we instead met with a coordinator who didn’t have any notes from prior communications with the company. It felt extremely impersonal. We were told that the DJ they picked for us was very experienced. I can only say, either the DJ had a very bad night or he was not at all experienced. Our wedding coordinator had to talk to him multiple times to get him to fix the microphone setup because no one could here his announcements during cocktail hour or trying to get people to find there seats. He didn’t follow the schedule and we had to prompt him to get the microphones set up for our welcome speech. When it came time for dancing, he obviously had no idea what an anniversary dance was and his fumble made a very awkward start to the opening of the dance floor. As the bride, I came over to him during the song to explain to him what it was. I felt mortified. It was like pulling teeth trying to get a sample of what the photobooth photos would look like. It shouldn’t be out of the ordinary to provide some reassurance of what the final product t would look like.

We appreciate that the AMP team pairs you with a DJ that fits your 'vibe' as a couple, we had requested some anime themes as well as some early 2000's "edgy teen" music and our DJ totally delivered! We also loved that some of the staff are LGBTQ+, we wanted to support our community with our wedding in whatever way we could and this was a wonderful perk. We only had a few special songs we wanted played, and all of them went off without a hitch at exactly the right moments. We also had an incredible violinist for our cocktail hour. Both DJ and violinist read the room perfectly for our small 12-person wedding, and kept it lively and the dancefloor poppin' at all times! They also assisted us with a special music artist we had invited to help him hook up his guitar and mic to play during dinner. Overall an amazing evening, felt like a movie!!! Would recommend over and over.

ony music to conclude, and ceremony music to commence. It was a good 15 minutes that I observed. I then noticed our officiant was not mic'd, as he was supposed to be and the company was to provide a lapel mic. Turns out the DJ couldn't get the lapel mic to work and did not come prepared with a back up solution. Later, after announcing the bridal party (where he butchered a groomsman's name and rushed through the pair), rather than announce dinner or fill space with soft music, it went radio silent. No joke. To where I, as the bride, had to announce dinner. The company requested our timestamps for our first dances, even went as far to review and confirm them a couple of weeks before our wedding but I'm not sure why as our DJ (Bryant) played the songs through entirety. Awkward for the parent dances and guests lost all interest as they were TOO LONG. My husband and I paid for dance lessons/ choreography to match our timestamp, so that was awkward for us to continue dancing when we should have been dipping and kissing. And again, the dances were too long to maintain attention. I tried really hard to let all of this go because why complain? I married the man of my dreams and that is truly special. BUT this is an industry where client feedback IS very important and from the very beginning we expressed to Trinity our need for an experienced DJ as they will set the mood, pace and flow for the entire evening. I sent a very nice email to Trinity regarding our experience and did ask for a small amount of money to be returned due to what we paid our officiant and guests weren't able to hear his beautiful words, and to compensate some for our dance lessons. She passed my email along to her husband, CEO Pat Bruno who was horrible. The man lacks professionalism, was full of excuses and has no tact - at one point telling me to shut my mouth and listen to his excuses for my experience and another time telling me he was not interested in my opinion of the evening. Are you kidding me? I was the client and bride! My opinion should matter quite a bit.

n't even meet our DJ until day of - amongst all the chaos. We didn't get to talk about how we wanted everything to go and I feel this hurt the experience greatly. 2. We were told Carl was experienced at Della Terra and highly sought after. But our guests could hardly hear any of the speeches because of the reverb and volume on the mics. My cousin, who is a DJ, knew exactly what he needed to change just by sitting there. If Carl is experienced at Della Terra, I don't understand how he didn't know the proper settings for the acoustics there. 3. Our guests expressed how the song transitions were not smooth at all. Which, is honestly my lowest complaint in all of it. That could partially be on us and our "must play" list. 4. We did not get any help arranging everyone for the formal introductions into the reception and because the mic had so much reverb and too much volume for the acoustics, we couldnt even understand the names he was calling out to adjust accordingly. Again, not sure how he didn't already know what the acoustics were like there if he is so experienced at Della Terra. On top of this, one set of couples were already sitting at their table so theres no way they could be introduced properly. I realize this is partially on the coordinator, but this is easily something that could have been prevented with more communication beforehand. And I know our coordinator was putting out a different fire for me during this, so this was easily something that Carl could have stepped up during. 4. After speeches were done I had scheduled a mini-bouquet giveaway for the special women in my life, which he almost entirely skipped and I had to flag him down for the chance to give these. 5. There were never any announcements about wedding gifts or the guest book items either. So we went home without a single signature on the guest board, no phone messages on our telephone, and no polaroids taken. We gave multiple modalities for our guests so they could do the one most comfortable to them. But our guests didn't even know they were there. Carl felt bad about not being able to get more guests to dance and thats the one thing we knew would happen based on our crowd and did not hold against him AT ALL. But all the rest of it was extremely upsetting. We are definitely not happy with the way our DJ experience went. But we are grateful he was the only vendor we were unhappy with. I guess you get what you pay for. We got a 50% discount to use this DJ company and it shows. Would not recommend at all. This is your sign to NOT book them. I read one review about not meeting the DJ until the week before, and I didn't love that but felt a week was ok at least. But we didn't even get that. Don't make the same mistake I did. Listen to the bad reviews. Especially if you're getting married at Della Terra in Estes Park, CO - don't use this company.

is the dancing. I did not want to be constrained by a certain time the DJ would stop playing if I wanted to keep dancing with my favorite people. We also needed sound equipment to be provided. Surprisingly, this is difficult to find in the entertainment industry and if you do, it costs an arm and a leg or they begin charging by the hour, making budgeting exceedingly difficult to account for. Initially we were planning to make Spotify work with some speakers! But then we found A Music Plus. They were amazing! A Music Plus worked to make a contract and timeline that worked for US and was tailored to what was most important for our day. They were professional and responsive leading up in the final months of planning. But most importantly, they were a blast. Our DJ was comfortable on the mic when it was needed but didn't steal the show. He transitioned music seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing and then really shined when we wanted to let loose and dance until 2AM. The vibes were spot-on and he picked songs that could actually be danced to and enjoyed! Thank you for making so many of our wedding memories possible!
