WOW! I genuinely do not think I can truly put into words the amazing job that PCS did for me and my husband on our wedding day. From the communication months and months before the actual event to the perfect details on the day of I could not be happier with hiring PCS for my wedding day. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HIRE! You will not regret it!
The owner of the company, Barbra, destroyed my best friends wedding at Vizcaya. She hired a bunch of college interns (who have never worked a wedding a day in their life) and had no idea what they were doing. Florals were late, she wasn’t answering her cell phone, no tequila, no alcohol (they had to INSTACART!!!), half the food was in Fort Lauderdale because the truck wasn’t loaded in time so only half the guests got food- the other half had to wait until the end of the night!!!! Welcome drinks never served, NO WATER!! NO ICE!!!! No late night snack that was PAID for (fries and milkshakes) were ever put out. There were BRIDESMAIDS serving SALAD because people haven’t eaten and were getting physically ILL. Barbra blamed this all on her “health issue” and when we told her to go to the ER, she refused (because she had no team that knew what they were doing). My best friends mother passed away this year and had requested her picture to be put on a ceremony seat, which wasn’t done. How disgusting? I’m sure I’m forgetting more things. This company in a SCAM. Oh did I mention swore on her children’s lives that welcome drinks were passed out? Those poor kids. Disgusting. disgusting. Disgusting. If you book this company, you are asking for your wedding to be RUINED.

I don't know if this description can give Barbara and her staff enough praise for all that they did and in very a short amount of time. We booked with her maybe 2 months before the wedding and she was not only able to deliver our vision, but even made a dream of ours come true: a cafecito fountain! Never done before and yet she was willing and able to give it a try. IT WAS A HIT!!! Everyone loved it as well as all the food she made and she even did the flowers and tables. She was basically everything except the venue and DJ. And in record time. Plus, she was always available to us and willing to assist with lil, last minute changes basically up until the day of. She is incredible, there aren't enough stars in the galaxy to give her, and we highly recommend her and her team. Muchas gracias, PCS!
PCS Events/Barbara is the best event planner you can get! Our wedding was so magical because of PCS! Barbara is so attentive to details and was there every step of the way for all of our questions and needs that we had. PCS took away all of our stress and Barbara went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted at our wedding! We recommend PCS to everyone who has an event!! Absolutely a pleasure to work with!!!
It is important to note at the outset of this review that we tried contacting PCS Events directly about the issues discussed below, but they have not responded. If you want any part of your event to be stress-free, or organized I would not recommend PCS Events. They are not organized and they have no attention to detail.
There is not enough time or space to address every failure, delay, and disappointment on our wedding day because of PCS Events, but the major issues are addressed below.
On the day of our wedding, we were promised adequate staffing with trained servers and bartenders. We received neither. The staff spoke little to no English and one server even spilled an entire plate on a guest. She then asked, “do you want me to get you another one?” Additionally, there was a 15 – 20-minute wait at the bar all night long because they only hired 1 bartender for more than 100 people. Many guests did not get water service at the table, and they had to wait in the 20-minute line just to get water. Moreover, PCS Events did not follow our seating chart and some guests did not have seats/place settings. Couples were placed at opposite ends of the tables and family members were seated apart from one another.
We were also promised a month of wedding planner who would coordinate the rehearsal, plan our wedding, and manage the wedding schedule throughout the day. We received neither. During the rehearsal, they sent an assistant who had zero knowledge about the details of our wedding. I (the bride) had to step in and direct everyone and lead our own rehearsal. Notably, the Event Planner was not present during our reception because there were not enough chefs, and she was too busy cooking in the back. There was no one there to manage the flow of the event. Our wedding party had to step in and help manage the timelines.
Before starting the ceremony, it became clear that PCS Events had not provided enough chairs for the guests, despite going over the headcount in detail beforehand. Again, PCS Events failed to step in and direct the guests where to sit and my maid of honor had to go out before we started to do crowd control.
During the reception, it became clear that the food being served to our guests was of a different quality entirely than the food provided to us at the tasting. We (the bride and groom) could hardly eat our dinner because the meat was so incredibly chewy and tasteless. Additionally, our signature cocktail was being served in wine glasses because PCS Events had not brought enough cocktail glasses.
Lastly, our guests did not get to see many of the beautiful custom details that we had ordered for our wedding simply because of PCS Events’ inattentiveness to detail. We spent significant money on custom cocktail napkins, but PCS Events did not pass them out with drinks. We also ordered a custom mirrored seating chart with calligraphy, but PCS Events placed the mirror behind a tree where no one could see it. Our guests had to walk around the tables looking for their names on the place cards at each table. Additionally, many guests did not see our card box, digital sign-in card, or honeymoon fund QR code, because they were all placed on a table behind a tree where no one saw it.
We will note that PCS Events provided beautiful flower arrangements and furniture rentals for an affordable price. However, after all the stress, anxiety, and lack of communication on the other services, we would not hire them again for any purpose.
PCS delivered a fun wedding but many details we planned were lost. I’m rounding up to a 4 because while there were a lot of errors on our wedding day, Barbara put in a lot of effort and we had an awesome time. We knew things would go wrong, especially in a challenging venue, with a large headcount, and on a tight budget—but more went wrong than we expected.
Our cocktail hour was set up in the wrong location. Despite deciding that we would not be doing welcome drinks, drinks were given to guests as they arrived. Despite specifying in our seating chart where high chairs would be needed, no high chairs were offered to those tables. The father/daughter dance and toasts were supposed to happen after guests were seated with their meals and instead happened earlier. As such, people didn’t have drinks for the toasts (though this was probably more the DJ’s error). I panicked that PCS had forgotten about the wine table service because I noticed there were no wine glasses on the tables. Staff were pulled off the bar to start taking orders. Had I known that they did not have sufficient staff to do both simultaneously, I wouldn’t have pushed for it. Later, PCS shared that they don’t set wine glasses or serve wine at the tables because it stains the linens, but this had never been communicated to us. We would not have added on this service if we had known.
Guest place cards were placed incorrectly at 5 of our 15 tables. A mix of all sorts of candles were used at our event that were NOT the 3x3 and 3x4 pillar candles we specified. During the buffet, the vegetarian entree wasn’t there. We were later told that this was to avoid non-vegetarians from eating it, but the guests didn't know to ask for it! Despite knowing where all the vegetarian guests were seated, PCS never checked in on them to offer it. No kids meals were served. PCS did refund us for this but, unfortunately, the picky eaters didn’t get to eat. PCS ran out of the fish option at our buffet (even though it was well communicated that there would be many Catholics in attendance observing lent). Our parents were amongst those who could not get the fish.
I know that based on the above it might seem like our wedding was a disaster, but it wasn’t. It’s just that members of the staff felt very green and many moments of our wedding felt chaotic. Despite the things that went wrong, a lot went right. We had the right layout, tables, chairs, linens, napkins, plates, and silverware. Table numbers were placed on the right tables, signs and photos were displayed (albeit one on a broken easel), raffia fans were put out, and our signature drink, cake, and coffee were served. Also, though we didn’t really eat, we were told the food was good! The space looked stunning and people could not stop talking about how beautiful Barbara’s florals were.
PCS also handled coordinating our tent set up and break down, moving several items from their original locations to new locations throughout the evening, and received and served a fast food delivery we ordered. Though there were guests who commented on the disorganization of the staff, many more people commented on how fun our wedding was.
If you’re a detail-oriented bride, hire a separate day of coordinator. With PCS, details got lost and information was not well communicated. Staff were not prepared to answer guest questions and, depending on who you asked, you were likely to get different answers. But, things looked beautiful and we all had a great time!
I wish I could rate this place 10 stars. I was lost and confused at the beginning trying to plan my first ever wedding, but the moment I connected with Barbara and Marcella, I knew I was being supported by two incredibly smart and capable ladies. From start to finish my husband and I received such incredible kindness and guidance from these ladies. The food by chef Barbara was absolutely delicious, and the decorations and event planning by Marcella made for a beautiful ceremony and reception. Their pricing is reasonable and affordable for the full range of services they offer, and really from the moment I spoke with Barbara I knew I would be in good hands. If you are planning a wedding, baby shower, or really any kind of event, PCS Event Productions will meet and exceed your expectations! I recently had the pleasure of working with pcs events for my firm's anniversary celebration, and I can't recommend them highly enough. The event had over 200
attendees and despite the scale and the last minute booking (other caterer bailed at the last minute) everything went off without a hitch. If you're Looking for delicious food and seamless event production, pcs is a good bet.
Our wedding with Barbara and the PCS Events team was amazing. Even though it was super hot in August, someone from their team had a small fan to help me stay cool. This was really nice, especially when we were taking photos. There was a problem when the power went out, but Barbara had planned ahead. She had a power box on standby because she was worried about the historic building having electrical problems, so the party started again really fast. Most guests didn't even notice! The food was great. Everyone loved the champagne risotto and the GUAVA ROSEMARY CHICKEN - OMG. Barbara was more than just a person who catered and planned our wedding. She was always there to help, give advice, or make us feel better. If you want someone who's both professional and caring for your wedding, pick PCS Events. A big thanks to Barbara and her team for making our day perfect.
Big thanks to Barbara and her team at PCS Events! I had to change venues midway through planning given my growing guest list and the summer heat. Their all-inclusive offerings allowed me to make changes and create a better approach. This really put me at ease. I've been married before and can tell you that it was not this easy the first time! Having one go to for the catering, flowers, rentals and planning simplified the entire process and the quality was excellent. My husband and I are very pleased. The guests loved the food and commented on what a beautiful evening it was. THANK YOU!
Very bad experience. I signed a contract with PCS for my wedding flowers. Contract stated that if I were to cancel 30 days before the event, I would get 50% of the deposit back.
I sent her a cancellation email (as per contract) 4 MONTHS!! before my wedding, because I knew someone that hired her before my event and she had a really bad experience, so I didn’t want to go through the same thing. As per the contract, I was supposed to get half of my deposit back.
I texted and emailed her trying to follow up, and never got a response.
She took my money and no services were performed.
In short: PCS' food is absolutely phenomenal! Only hire them for catering. You and your guests will enjoy the quality food and free flowing drinks.
However, it's with a heavy heart that I write this review because I loved working with Barbara and her team. We hired them for catering, decor, flowers, and planning. Everyone was kind and made sure that I was never stressed about details. If there was ever anything we wanted that she didn't already have, she'd happily offer to get it for us. It wasn't clear that those requests meant extra charges but we were happy to pay because we were promised that we'd get everything we asked for.
Unfortunately, when it came to our big day, I left feeling very disappointed by their lack of follow-through with the details I was told not to worry about. All the flower colors were completely wrong, I was promised gluten-free options that weren't provided, our wedding cake flavor was carrot when we asked for chocolate and vanilla, cocktail hour was not setup how we discussed... so on and so forth. I spent many hours picking out clear photos of what we wanted the day to look like and discussing all those details with Barbara and her team, so it was just disheartening to see that those conversations weren't remembered.
**To be fair, I selected a difficult color (Terracotta) to achieve in the spring. However, I wish that Barb warned me that finding things in that color would've been an issue instead of showing up with bright orange and yellow decor. They called me every day to watch the weather but never warned me that the certain decor options wouldn't be possible.
In the end, they delivered a beautiful wedding. My guests had a wonderful time. BUT it wasn't the wedding that we planned and that sucks.
I had the pleasure of attending a wedding catered by PCS EVENTS. The food was good, and the staff was well trained and professional. A special shout out to Julian and Andrew! Those guys were on the ball.
Barbara from PCS Events crushed our wedding! We did all of our catering and rentals and cake and bar services from them and it was beautiful. They did such a great job setting up, and she even got the chargers we wanted special for us! And if there was anything she didn't have, she made sure to help us find it!
Everyone was telling us how amazing the food was. Even including so many things they were one of the most affordable options we could find and did such an exceptional job! 10/10 would recommend :)
Barbara and her team are absolutely incredible! I used PCS Events for my 15s in 2014, and as soon as I got engaged this year I knew I needed to reach out to her again to make my dream engagement party come true. She came to our event site and helped us visualize all the table locations, bar, and guest tables. She arranged beautiful center pieces, set up tables, linens, glassware and a beautiful bar to make our rustic vision come true. Her team was very punctual, energetic, helpful, and extremely professional. The food was absolutely incredible as well. Our guests were very impressed with the quality of the food, and the variety that was served. From hors d’oeuvres, cocktail hour style entrees, and a delicious assortment of desserts it was a giant success. At the end of the event her team made sure it was if nothing had ever happened. Our home was spotless. She made this event as stress free as possible. Her customer service has not changed in the 7 years since I last used her service. I am as pleased now as I was back then. It was a joy working with PCS Events to make such a special day come true!

The food was INCREDIBLE - our guests are still talking about how good everything was and most of us had seconds (even thirds). She held a private tasting with us and catered our menu to our likes and the dietary restrictions of many of our guests.
Not only was every detail beautiful (chairs, tables, linens, layout), but Barbara was so easy to work with, friendly, and helped to make our day stress free, even helping to organize a last minute tent when rain was in the forecast. We could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony or reception.

Barbara did an amazing job with our January wedding at Vizcaya! She was super helpful in the planning process, quickly responsive to our needs, and adaptive to a last minute cold front. She offers a very comprehensive “one stop shop” experience that takes a ton of pressure off knowing that food, coordinating, decor, cake, etc are all taken care of. She offers a tailored experience to any style or budget and creates beautiful designs. She also did our brunch and rehearsal and did a great job with those too! She was a pleasure to work with for our special day and we would definitely use her services again!
Barbara and her team were great. My now husband and I had a great time enjoyed delicious food and we thank Pcs events for catering our wedding in November 2021. We had several conversations and made changes several times during our preparations. Each time Barbara was understanding and helpful throughout the process. Barbara was our first call and should have been our last. Our call was answered immediately, and with thought provoking questions and a conversation that lasted almost 30 minutes, she pretty much guided us very closely to what would be our incredible wedding reception celebration.
I could reiterate all the 5 star reviews on here and second what they say, or talk about all our last minute items that Barbara made happen for us, but one personal story - my special needs sibling saw my mom and dad wearing their boutonnieres and wanted one as well. Without missing a beat, Barbara fashioned a boutonniere within a minute in the midst of all the prepping and cooking and the smiles and joy said it all!
It's not just the entirety of your event that you remember, but the little things that make an event special - Barbara and her staff knows this and it is why we so highly recommend them.

I can honestly say my dream wedding came to life! I never imagined I would be able to truly get everything I wanted to come out so beautifully perfect and thanks to Barbara and her team they made it happen. From the gorgeous and i truly mean GORGEOUS decor that was set up to Barbara herself as a planner, everything was spectacular. I truly want to thank Barbara for making our wedding come to life and making it one of the best days in our lives. Also I want to thank her for running around and handling the stressful parts so that i wouldnt have to. I forgot the wedding license in the hotel room safe and she ran to get it for me, then i forgot the garter and she pulled out some ribbon I could use haha! She was truly the best thank you so much!!!
I have had many wonderful experiences with this company because they cater events at my law firm quite often. From the very beginning, Barbara and her staff were accommodating in creating a customized package for us. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful. The decor, and lighting created a beautiful evening. The all-inclusive package with rentals took a lot of stress and planning off our shoulders. Much appreciated with our demanding work schedules. The staff was so kind and thoughtful. I decided to have my wedding at a hotel so that my guests could all be in one place but I didn’t want to have that stuffy ballroom feeling. Brought in PCS for flowers, linens, lighting, planning, and entertainment. What a difference that made! The guests loved the music and performers. The room looked amazing. We worked with Barbara and her staff for almost 2 years before our wedding took place at Thalatta. I was so nervous about planning a destination wedding but it all came together as soon as we reached out to PCS. Their all-inclusive services were a dream come true. PCS made our wedding easy and stress free. Barbara is a sweetheart and knew exactly how to read my wife's mind on the little things. We had a last minute consulting with her on a potential rain issue and her staff helped us along to the right decision. You get what you pay for with PCS and we got quality work.
My wife and I worked with PCS Events for our wedding at the Walton House. We both grew up in Florida, but currently live out of state and were worried about organizing everything without being in the area. We wanted to find a balance between someone who could help with planning while still being flexible and taking input from us on what we wanted for our wedding.
Barbara and her team were extremely accommodating. They listened to all of our thoughts and concerns and provided feedback on ways our ideas could be executed, always in the interest of making things as easy as possible for us. Every time we brought up concerns they had an answer sourced from years of experience. They were happy to do as much or as little as we wanted them to for any given area of the wedding and were helpful with coordinating when we sourced our DJ and musician externally.
Given our remote living situation, we were unable to schedule a tasting until after leaving a security deposit with them, but after the first bite of food any concerns we had went away. The food was delightful, contemporary, and never felt dated or contrived. They also accommodated alterations to dishes and let us make up our own signature cocktails.
When it came down to crunch time on the wedding day, anything handled by PCS events was of no concern; they executed perfectly. There was concern for rain leading up to the day and Barbara monitored forecasts for us to provide backup plans in case the weather deteriorated (luckily it didn’t). Throughout the whole time I felt like she was a family member with personal, vested interest in my wedding rather than a vendor we hired.
The same goes for the rest of her staff. Everyone was so cheerful and positive. They all had smiles on their faces and seemed like an extension of our guest list who just happened to be helping out. They made sure my wife and I got to enjoy all the food despite how busy we were. Claudia was especially attentive and checked with us throughout the reception to make sure we were well fed, hydrated, and overall happy. She was a wedding ninja.
At one point my mother-in-law misplaced her shoes as we got ready for our sparkler exit. Barbara took off her shoes and gave them to her and walked on gravel paths so that my mother-in-law wouldn’t have to worry about finding them. I don’t have any doubt that Barbara was ready to do whatever it took to make our wedding go smoothly.
Every time I think back on my wedding I think about how perfect it was and Barbara and her team were a crucial component to make that a reality.
If money and emotional turmoil were no objects, I would divorce my wife and marry her all over again just so I could work with PCS Events.
Planning an out of town wedding can be stressful, but Barbara took care of every detail so we didn't have to deal with the stress. From our 1st meeting with her at our venue she walked the property with us and listened to what we wanted and she gave us some great ideas as well. We ended up using 4 location's at our venue and Barbara was very accommodating with each location change without an additional cost to us.
After the tasting with Barbara, we knew that she was the type of person that was going to pay attention to every little detail to make sure our day was perfect. The presentation of the food was done very nicely and everything tasted delicious. Barbara's quote was very detailed and easy to understand.
We flew down 2 days before our wedding and they were calling for rain. Since we were planning the ceremony and reception outside, Barbara had already contacted the venue and came up with a plan b if the weather didn't cooperate. Fortunately the weather cleared and everything went as planned.

PCS was amazing for our wedding!! We can't thank the team enough for making our special day so magical!! They took our ideas and made them into a beautiful reality!! They are an incredible all inclusive catering company. I trusted them with the flowers, the decor, the food, our cake, the lighting, and the music etc and it was perfect!!! I loved being able to have all this in one place which made the planning so much easier and stress free!!! The food is fantastic!! Everyone could not stop telling us how delicious the food was. The dessert bar/coffee bar were a huge hit with our guests! Barbara is amazing and her team is awesome! The days leading up to our day were stress free and we were able to enjoy our special day fully because of this amazing team. I absolutely recommend them for your wedding day and any other occasion you may have!!!
After spending some time crunching the numbers, it was clear that going with an all-inclusive planner like PCS was the way to go for our wedding. Barbara was happy to meet us out for coffee and patiently answered all of our questions. She was bubbly, full of energy and took notes on everything we said. We hired her soon after and were SO GLAD we did.
At the tasting, we were blown away by all the delicious options. It was almost impossible to choose.
We later met with her at the PCS office to decide on linens and decor. She was patient while we went back and forth with ideas, pulling out items from her warehouse that might work and offering to source other options if we didn't see what we liked.
On the day of the weeding, Barbara and her team DELIVERED and then some. When I arrived a few hours before the ceremony, they were putting all the final details together. The decor was better than anything I had imagined. Everything felt thoughtful and reflected the style I had shown her. She listened to every word we said. It was incredible. I couldn't stop thanking her for the amazing job they did.
During the reception, someone from her team was always making sure we had enough to eat and drink, and always kept us on schedule. We were able to relax and enjoy the night. Our guests are still commenting on the excellent service.
It was their first time working at the venue, and they executed everything flawlessly. It was a pleasure working with them.
Working with Barbara & PCS Events made planning my wedding so enjoyable. It came together so easily. My friends who are married kept asking me if I was working on the wedding. In a matter of a few weeks, we had the menu, flowers, music, tables and decorations done! Their pricing is very reasonable for such great personal service. I was going to hire a planner but I really didn't need one. Our wedding day was carried out so well. Mike and I are really happy we found them.
My wedding officiant helped me contract this company to do the ceremony decor for our beach wedding last weekend. Barbara worked out all the details with me over phone and email. They provided us with a beautiful flowered arch, aisle runner with petals, and boutonnieres that fit the Great Gatsby wedding theme perfectly. They even thought of bringing the flowers over to the reception to brighten up the sweetheart table. Thanks!
Where to begin ? I cannot thank Barbara and her wonderful team enough, for the best day of my life !!!!!!!!!! I came across PCS EVENTS browsing the website lost looking for ideas to plan my wedding.! I called Barbara and from the first conversation, I immediately knew she had a heart of gold. Something clicked!! I was not wrong !! Barbara and her team are the most sweet, genuine, hard working team I have come across . The entire wedding planning was organized, Barbara is open to ideas and helped me through the entire process. They took care of everything ! I gave her a folder full of ideas, and like a pro, she gave me the wedding of my dreams. I changed ideas a few times here and there, they never had a problem to accommodate . Barbara is the best. The day of my wedding, I was in awe, the décor was beautiful, exactly what I asked for, the food was amazing, all of my guests LOVED and talked about the food again and again. Bar drinks ?? No problem!!! MORE THAN ENOUGH. we never felt rushed. Barbara really cares!! and she has the best team, that cares as well. From the time I got to the ceremony, till the very last few minutes, they were on top of everything!!!! SO IMPRESSED!!!! I learned to love them, genuine, because they have a heart of gold. When our daughter became engaged we began the journey of where to begin to plan the wedding.
When we met with Barbara for the first time, it was unanimous! She was the one! My daughter said, “Mom, I felt as if she understands my vision.” Throughout the process of choosing the décor, food, entertainment and everything else, she was amazing. In life there are people who are very good listeners and she is one of those people. She listened, took notes, friended my daughter on Pinterest so that she could look at her ideas and communicated with myself and my daughter throughout the entire year. She was always reachable by email, or phone. Never too busy to answer any question. No question was too trivial, always treated any call as if she were speaking to a close friend.
The day of the wedding she was right there from early in the day until the end. She is truly a hands on person. She gave my daughter the wedding of her dreams. Everything was perfect and beyond our expectations! She was extremely fair priced compared with other companies and she went above and beyond with every small detail. Her staff was amazing also. If I were to rate them on a scale of 1-10 for customer service, I would give them a 10! They were so attentive and professional.
The food was phenomenal! Family and friends are still talking about the wedding and that it was one of the most beautiful weddings that they ever attended.
I highly recommend PCS for any event and am so happy that I chose them. Because of Barbara, We will have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!
Barbarba was wondering. She brought all of my ideas to life. Shes one of the most caring planner/coordinator I've ever worked with. The food was delicious. Barbara and her company, PCS Events, was the best choice we made for planning our wedding! She always listened to our thoughts, concerns, and continuously changing ideas. She did everything to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend her and her company for any event. We are very happy we had her for our wedding.
I didn't have much time to work on planning my wedding. My husband and I are very career oriented. I found PCS Events and knew right away they were the solution. We came in for a consultation and tasting then sent photos of our decorations and flowers. We were basically done. They offer so many services and are incredibly flexible. Barbara even built us a special chuppah. They set up our timeline, floor plan, helped with sourcing vendors for the services they don't provide like the photographer, DJ and transportation. I sent in my RSVP's, showed up for the rehearsal and the rest was done; place cards, favors and even welcome baskets for the hotel. We were expecting rain for the wedding and Barbara even booked the tent plus lighting to keep the romantic look I wanted. I don't think we could have had a wedding without them. The service staff was amazing. They set out all of my photos and kept track of my personal items which they even packed into our car at the end of the night. Complete service. I did a lot of research for my wedding. Don't think there is anyone out there like these people. So blessed to have found PCS.
I planned my destination wedding to be at a hotel in downtown Miami out of convenience for accommodating my guests. I soon realized that it wouldn't be very personal if I didn't include the special touches of décor that my husband and I would have had at a venue. PCS Events helped us with all of our rentals including furniture, glass chargers, linens, flowers, lighting, our place seating chart and planning, of course. They have everything and worked right along with the hotel coordinator to make everything go smoothly. I was able to ship our favors to their warehouse and they sourced special items that made our décor spectacular. Barbara helped to organize our rehearsal dinner and even a brunch the next day. Really great personal service!
The staff at PCS Events are lifesavers! They helped my wife and I with almost every service we needed for the wedding. We were so stressed until we spoke to Barbara and from then on it was so much more enjoyable. I was about to elope. The staff was attentive, the food was great and my wife actually cried when she saw the room. It was beautiful! From the ceremony to flowers, food, lighting and rentals; they did it all. I'd hire them all over again.
Planning a wedding is no easy task! PCS Events was one of the best choices we made when it came to helping us with our wedding. Barbara was absolutely amazing, extremely kind, and understanding every time we wanted to change something. She offered us suggestions that made our wedding better than we thought! The best thing we did for our wedding was hire Barbara and her team. She helped put together our perfect, dream Deering Estate wedding. We were worried about the logistics of everything, because the Deering Estate can be tricky, but Barbara made sure everything went smoothly, even accommodating a last minute ceremony location change. She never seemed stressed or flustered and was always 10 steps ahead of us, so we didn't have to worry about missing any details. The food was delicious and fresh tasting and the cake was so delicious I just wish I had eaten more of it. She is clearly very experienced and has a natural talent for planning events. She also handled our florals and did a fantastic job. I forgot to send Barbara a picture of the look I was trying to achieve, but she nailed it and gave us the most gorgeous sweetheart table I have ever seen. Barbara and her team are excellent! My husband and I live in New York and I planned a destination wedding in Florida. I planned my entire wedding (Disclaimer: I'm extremely organized, detailed oriented and love planning events). Given that I was not located in Florida, I wanted one vendor to take responsibility for my decor/flowers, catering (incl. cake and bar service) and day-of wedding coordination. As I evaluated wedding vendors I shared a PowerPoint presentation with my wedding vision (theme, color scheme, decor, unique cultural details and budget) then scheduled a call to discuss. The moment I spoke with Barbara I knew she was the one. She was extremely responsive, listened to my ideas and had a "yes we can do it" attitude (she didn't give me a standard proposal like the other vendors), and her quote was the most comprehensive and affordable. She also gave me tips on what will be costly so I can plan accordingly:

As our wedding drew closer, I changed some elements of my color scheme (at the last minute) and she was extremely supportive and made it happen.
She took copious notes during our calls and ensured they were reflected in my invoice and then sent for me to review. So there was always transparency with cost (I was on a tight budget so I reviewed every detail).
In terms of delivering on the promise on my wedding day, she exceeded expectations. She met my complicated demands and high expectations for customer service and flawless execution. She and her staff were also very trustworthy, my valuables and items provide were returned to me.
The before the wedding she assumed her role as wedding coordinator and became more hands on with my vendors to notify them of inclement weather on my wedding day so needed to strategize on a "rain plan". All were responsive and planned ahead except my photobooth vendor. Barbara did her best to accommodate this vendor despite their lack of flexibility. She looked out for my best interest to ensure my vendor did as agreed upon. She was tenacious.
My wedding decor was beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly and nice. They did an excellent job of leaving the venue clean. The food was good, the appetizers were my favorite. The only area of opportunity that I would say about Barbara is that she's passionate about food and the catering aspect (she was a chef). She's very involved in the operations and at times wasn't able to completely oversee the guest experience and flow of the wedding timeline as day-of coordinator should (Disclaimer: I am extremely meticulous and had a very detailed timeline with multiple activities.).
Despite, the minor glitches my guests didn't even notice a thing and thought my wedding was excellent and well executed. I highly recommend Barbara and her team. They are FANTASTIC!
Working with Barbara and her staff through my wedding planning process was nothing short of spectacular. I had lots of questions, but Barbara always had an answer and was a true helping hand. When the big day came, all my guests were extremely satisfied and above all the event was a success. I can't see myself having chosen any other vendor. PCS Events did a wonderful job with our wedding. They really made the process easier than I thought. I almost had a nervous breakdown when I chose a venue and found out that I had to hire all of the vendors for my wedding. PCS Events provides almost all of the services we needed. After our meeting, we had the catering, bar, rentals, flowers, linens, ceremony, lighting and the Dj off of our list. I felt so much better. They were very flexible along the way in accommodating my new ideas. They covered my day of coordination so that my family and I could enjoy the wedding. Everything was set out just as I asked. Barbara and her team at PCS were such an amazing group to work with. They were all extremely professional from the very beginning until the last minute of our wedding day. We had planned an outside ceremony and reception for our wedding day, but mother nature had other plans for us that day. It rained consistently all day long, PCS Events was faced with having to re organize the entire event set up in order to keep us and our guests dry. They exceeded all of our expectations. I would recommend Barbara and her amazing team at PCS to everyone. They are very flexible, and extremely budget conscious. :)
Barbara is the best ever!
I started planning my July 11th wedding 11 months before and didn't have a clue what my theme was, what I was going to wear, how many guest. I was lost. When I reached out to Barbara at PCS Events I only needed a quote, but she quickly put me at ease & I knew right away I wanted her as my caterer & events planner. I even consulted with her before official booking and she was right there!
What really sealed the deal was the food! Delicious!! From the coconut shrimp to the latkes with caviar everything had great flavor. After months on Pinterest I sent Barbara all of my jumbled ideas. As she settled on an idea I would change my mind on food or colors and she would roll with it.
My rehearsal was a little hectic and Barbara was un able to attend. Come to find out my wedding was on her birthday!! You are amazing Barbara!
My wedding was fantastic. In the beginning Barbara asked what was most important for my wedding & I said food & music. Not only were the two amazing, but she was able to take my jumbled ideas and make it into something extremly classic and magical. My guests loved the wedding, enjoyed the food, and had an amazing time thanks to Barbara and her team. Now my sister-in-law wants to use PCS Events!

o If I could cater all my house parties PCS events would be the catering company I would use! My husband and I were incredibly happy with the services we received for our wedding in June. Before the wedding Barbara (PCS event owner) was always available to answer any questions we had and helped in the planning of the big day since she was also my day of planner (great service to have). The day of the wedding she kept everything moving smoothly even with the rain. I had made about 30 yarn balls over 4 days for the outside ceremony which turned into mush from the rain and all the PCS team members came out and helped get the balls out of the tree’s so that it did not ruin the day, THANK YOU GUYS! The food was amazing! It’s been a month and half and I still have people commenting about the steak which was the best steak I have had in a while, even better than the husbands (still love ya though babe). If you are looking for great quality and price you really must use PCS events.

We are so happy with our wedding day. PCS Events did an amazing h=job guiding us through every step. Their day-of coordination services are priceless. They contacted the venue and all of our vendors making adjustments to the timeline and floor plan as needed. They even sent us weather updates throughout the week. The report kept fluctuating between 20 & 30% so my husband and I decided to take a chance. We really wanted our outdoor set-up. As soon as the vendors arrived, it began to pour. I gave Barbara the go to re-arrange everything. The staff worked quickly and it turned out beautiful. We even started on time. They even came with a tent for the oven just in case. If you are planning your wedding look no further. PCS Events takes pride in their work. They care that you are happy. My parents are so glad we chose them.
Worst vendor I have ever had to deal with.
Food- She introduced me to a Chef. At the first food tasting I did not like the options. At the second food tasting, after I had already had to pay half of the entire fee, she served me RAW CHICKEN. Day of wedding, no Chef was there, Barbra was actually making the food herself and she was completely over whelmed and could not even organize the wedding party to walk down the isle because she was in the Kitchen!
Day of wedding planner- This was a Joke. I was fooled into believing it would be BARBRA. Nope she had some young teenage girl as the wedding planner the day of who had no idea what to do or say when ever me or my bridesmaids had a question.
She told me she had a back up plan if it rained. NOPE. What she had told me she would do was not what she did. MY FAMILY DID NOT HAVE A PLACE TO SIT.
I was mortified.
Additionally, the contract she provided us indicated she would provide champagne. Time for toast to come and she had no Champagne. (By this time so many things had gone wrong I didn't even care about the champagne)
Do not book this wedding planner.

I am quite surprised with this bride's review. She fails to comment on the conditions that we were provided by the yacht club where they had their wedding. I gave the groom a call 2 hours prior to the beginning of the wedding because clouds wer...
e quickly rolling in and they still decided to keep the event outside. Sure enough as we almost had everything set, there came the rain. My staff and myself got completely drenched. We had to move all of the tables under a terrace where only some of the tables fit. Chairs were pulled in to seat as many guests as possible. We had to use the remaining space for the ceremony. The venue did not want to open the upstairs for the cocktail nor additional seating. We could have extended the reception over into the ceremony area but it rained so much that the water pooled on the floor and was coming in through the cracks on the sides of the terrace;not suitable for table seating. Yes, I did go into the kitchen to make sure the food was OK. I am a chef. I was at the reception the entire time and never sent anyone to direct the ceremony. I have no idea who she is referring to. The venue doesn't allow outside caterers to use their indoor kitchen. We were OUTSIDE for heaven's sake with a 10 x 10 tent. The bride's godfather purchased the bar services from the yacht club because they required it in the contract. The toast was never on our invoice. We worked very hard to make things come together despite the conditions and the lack of cooperation from the venue. They left a bartender in charge with no manager. The couple struggled with the venue throughout the planning process to the point where the groom wanted to change venues but because the bride was getting the place as a gift from her godfather she stuck with it. A heavy price to pay in the end I guess.
Barbara did a fantastic job! Soooo helpful throughout the entire process. We had a destination wedding in Miami and pretty much planned the entire event 72 hours before our ceremony (CRAZY! I blame my husband) Barbara was available and stayed after hours to go over everything and all our options. As everyone tells you - the Bride hardly eats. But from what I remember tasting it was delicious - the attendants all enjoyed the apps too. I can't remember which ones we had but they were very tasty. We had a minimalist wedding and didn't have too much fluff - but it was very over the top with entertainment. I would hire again... she may not want to work with us because my husband's soooo last minute :) We were somewhat easy to work with bc we knew what we wanted - it was just a matter of it being within our price range.

I was so excited that I was getting married but when I started looking into everything I had to put together I was honestly considering eloping with my honey. Thank God that I found PCS. I was instantly relieved after my first phone conversation. My catering, day-of, flowers, tables, chairs and lighting were provided by them which left me a lot less to do. I received the quote and it was incredibly detailed which made me feel even more comfortable about hiring them. Every step of the way, they were there for questions and all of those things I never would have thought of. I really can't say enough good things about PCS Events because where other catering companies hire vendors to cover rentals, flowers, decorations etc. they actually do them themselves and they do it well! That allowed me to make changes along the way. For a bride that lives on Pinterest, that's priceless! If you are getting married look no further than PCS Events. Hands down, their personal attention, food and service are amazing!
We can not recommend PCS strongly enough! They were so helpful every single step of the way. They took care of any detail we wanted, like decorations, flowers, etc. Not one time did they tell us something was impossible or they were unable to do anything. Every request was met with, "yeah, no problem!" Even the day of the event, when other venders were going "NUTS" and being super rude, PCS bent over backwards to insure that we as a couple were happy, the event was on track, and worked with us to insure the rude venders were taken care off. Only complaint that we have with PCS is that their coffee bar was SOOOOO good that we and our guests are having withdrawls finding coffee as good as theres!
PCS Events handled the catering for our wedding. Barbara, the owner and expert chef, proved to be friendly, communicative, and very organized at every step. We felt like she was a partner in our special day, not just a vendor. Barbara and her team impressed us more during our first face-to-face meeting (this was a destination wedding) and food tasting. It was all about what we wanted and how she could help make it happen. And did she ever!!!
The food and drinks hit the spot with all of our guests. One of my groomsmen called to tell me that every single thing that came out (hors d'oeuvres, dinner, cake and other desserts) was GOOD. And this is a guy who never said a word to me about food during the three years that we roomed together! Everything was hot and delicious, and the bar service was fast.
Finally, I must add that Barbara is as great a wedding planner as she is a caterer. We literally began making entirely new wedding plans the week of due to the 100% chance of thunderstorms (my poor fiancee was so crushed!), and Barbara jumped right into the chaos with us to make the best out of a bad situation. What other company owner would have taken the time to not only meet us at alternative venues, but also help coordinate wedding details that they hadn't been specifically hired to handle? Probably none! I love this woman and her passion for providing a full range of wedding services. Take it from a couple that just hired PCS Events: do yourself a favor and get Barbara on your team asap!!
By the way, the storms stopped around 5pm on our wedding day, and our outdoor ceremony and reception turned out to be magically fantastic! :)
Amazing!!! The food was excellent and the service was great. Our friends are still talking about how delicious the food and cake was. I love love love Barbara. A few days before our wedding it was a 100% chance of rain for our outdoor wedding. Barbara was not even our wedding planner, but she took the time to meet with us to check out another venue and give us some ideas. Barbara was very flexible and creative and amongst all of the craziness leading to our wedding day she remained very pleasant. In the end we continued with our original venue because our hearts were set and Barbara helped us locate a tent at the last minute. We were hopeful that the rain would stop at some point for people to take advantage of the gorgeous views. Fortunately, for us the rain stopped about 1 hour before the ceremony and the event was more than I could imagine. Hiring Barbara was the next best decision I made for that day...second to marrying my husband. :-)
There are not enough good things that I could say about PCS Event Productions. From day 1 Barbara made us feel totally at ease. I was panicking about the wedding and the details before we met Barbara. Once we began working with her, the excitement started to set in! Barbara and her staff are some of the most thoughtful and kind individuals we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. On the day of they made sure we didn't worry about a thing. Barbara's assistant, Missy, stayed by me and my husband's side the entire night. She constantly made sure we had something to eat or drink. She even changed my shoes for me when I couldn't stand my heels any longer! Aside from the perfect service, the food was phenomenal! All of our guests kept coming up to my husband and I and complimenting the delicious food and the generous portions!
I really could not do Barbara and her team justice. They go above and beyond to make that day run smoothly and flawlessly and they did just that. My husband and I have a dream come true of a day to look back upon and it was thanks to her and her team. My husband and I are so happy that our daughter Amy found PCS Events on the Knot. Barbara is a wonderful person. Even though she's a mom of two and has her own personal things going on, she was always available to speak with us, even on a Sunday night. From the first email and the first phone conversation with her we felt she was the one. We didn't bother to get any other quotes. The wedding took place at a catholic church and the reception was at the parish hall of the church. Except for the DJ, Photographer & Videographer Barbara took care of everything else. The tables look beautiful, the centerpieces were just how Amy wanted them. The food was just as good and warm as when we went to the food tasting. Her husband is a great chef. Her assistant Missy is also awesome. She was attentive to the bride and groom all night. We highly recommend PCS Events. I'm sure when Aim returns from the honeymoon she will write her review. I could not have asked for a more delightful experience when it came to planning my wedding than working with Barbara and PCS Events. I owe the success of a beautiful and memorable celebration to Barbara. The facts: I was planning a Palm Beach wedding from Los Angeles, had 300 guests and only 7 months to plan, plus I wanted nothing less than extraordinaire. First off, I didn’t expect that the first time that I called PCS that I would speak with Barbara herself. She gave me her undivided attention and I immediately felt comfortable in her hands. As an extremely budget-conscious bride, I spoke with many other vendors before speaking with Barbara. As soon as the others heard that my venue was a prestigious venue, it was very apparent to me that they were going to take advantage and try to pinch every penny out of me. However, as soon as I spoke with Barbara, I knew that she genuinely wanted to take care of me and provide services at a fair and reasonable price. She respected the value of money and didn’t believe in taking advantage of her clients. Barbara was very respectful of my wedding budget and was willing to jump through the many strict and not so pleasant hoops that my venue had, (such as only having 3 hours to set up the whole event) which was no easy task, but Barbara and her team did it with much grace, for which I am extremely grateful for. All these rare attributes made me respect Barbara and her business tremendously and it was their honest work ethic that made me want to give my business to PCS Events.
When it came to décor, she had excellent attention to fine detail and was very knowledgeable about the wedding planning process from start to finish. Barbara also had exceptional and timeless taste and offered great advice that I could count on. I did not want to look back on my wedding 5 years from now and think, “What was I thinking?” Barbara understood this about me and kept me accountable with her honest opinions regarding décor. The décor came out wonderfully and the ambiance was one of beauty, class and romance.
Barbara and her staff are exquisite cooks! They came to my home to provide a tasting and I practically didn’t provide anything, except for electricity. I immediately felt at ease when I saw their efficiency and skills in the kitchen. The tasting itself was a memorable event. Barbara and her staff served up a delicious menu filled with unique hors d’oeurves, tasty appetizers, mouthwatering main courses, and delightful dessert treats. This was no different on the day of my wedding. A tasting for 6 people and a wedding feast production for 300 guests can have many disparities, but not with Barbara and PCS events. My guests, to this day, still tell me how wonderful the food was! They had a very merry time.
An unexpected service that brought a lot joy was that PCS Events made the day very special and stress free for my husband and me. They were very attentive to not only the needs of my guests but also to us. They helped us enjoy the evening by serving us exclusive hors d’oeurves, signature drinks, main courses, and personalized desserts. We felt very special!
Everything turned out better than expected: nothing less than extraordinaire. Thank you, Barbara, for EVERYTHING you did. It is certain that none of this could have been possible without you. Thank you for you professionalism as well as your friendship during all of the wedding planning. You are certainly one of a kind!
The entire process with Barbara and her team has been nothing but amazing. From the very beginning up until even AFTER the wedding, Barbara went above and beyond to make sure my special day was everything I imagined it to be.
My now-husband and I live in Orlando, so we knew planning a wedding in Miami was going to be tough, but Barbara made sure that was never an issue. Not only was Barbara quick to answer all my emails (and there were a lot of those) she also was there to provide suggestions when my husband and I weren't able to figure anything out on our own. She was there for every walk through, and my rehearsal- which I couldn't imagine doing with anyone else. We had a pretty large bridal party and Barbara was able to keep everyone focused and on-task.
The entire day went off without a hitch. My husband and I were expecting a few standard issues, but we can honestly say that not one thing went wrong! I could go on for days about how perfect everything was.
Both the ceremony and reception were set-up perfectly, even better than I could have imagined. Barbara kept my entire bridal party (and especially me) at ease the entire day and made sure everything went flawlessly! She was right there beside all of us before and during the ceremony, letting us know what to do and when to walk. At the reception the food was absolutely amazing. The cake looked even better than the picture I sent of what I wanted (and tasted just as amazing as it did at our tasting). The venue only allowed for 2 hours of set up, and 2 hours of break down, and Barbara was able to make everything work.
Barbara and her team think of everything. You really can tell she has been doing this for a while! She had an amazing back-up plan in case of rain (we were able to make our decision day of) but fortunately for us the weather held up and we were able to have our outdoor ceremony. At the start of the reception, our ceremony area was broken down and replaced with bar tables so our guests were able to enjoy that additional outdoor space. Barbara also had appetizers and water brought to my husband and I while we were hiding out waiting for our guests to take their seats inside the reception (we were starving at this point so I can't even begin to tell you how happy we were when we saw the special plates coming our way.) She also worked with all of our other vendors, both before and during the wedding. My sister played violin during our ceremony and Barbara was there to cue her and help in any way she possibly could. All the small details I never would have thought of truly made our wedding day amazing.
Overall I was pleased with the pcs experience. They did my food, cake, equipment (chairs, tables,etc...), and flowers. They were very reasonable with pricing. Anything is really possible, just depends on budget. Everyone was very nice. Does not take the place of a wedding planner, but did well with the coordination of the day. They are pretty laid back, which works for some personalities, I probably could have used more guidance on the day of/throughout the night.
Our experience with Barbara and her staff at PCS was nothing less than awesome. From communication to food, everything was on point and amazing. She was ALWAYS very attentive with my husband and I's needs and wants. She was beyond a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She is organized, friendly and on top of her game! Not only is she an amazing wedding coordinator but a spectacular chef as well. She was at our reception making sure everything went as planned and that us, our family and friends were taken care of. Her and PCS brought our wedding vision to life! I HIGHLY recommend PCS to any bride and groom! Looking forward to having her plan our next major event! :)
Hands down the best company ever. Thanks to Barbara our wedding came out amazing. Always available no matter what time you call or email her. Any problem you have, she is willing to help. She is on top of everything, and makes sure everything is planed out. Her staff is incredible. All my guest were amazed with the service. They are truly there to help you with everything. I can't thank them enough. Thank You so much for making my wedding everything I wanted.
