We hired Sydney with A Piece of Harmony Events for her full wedding planning services, and it was one of the best decisions I made during the entire process! Sydney is the best at what she does. She made our wedding memorable and flawlessly organized and executed.
From the very first consultation, Sydney was professional and attentive. She took the time to understand our style and personalities then helped guide us in creating the perfect wedding for us. I didn’t really have a wedding vision, but I knew I wanted to create a great guest experience. Having Sydney’s vast experience and knowledge throughout the process was priceless. She is extremely familiar with every detail that goes into a wedding, which helped us create the perfect guest experience. We received so many compliments from our guests during and after the wedding.
Our venue search felt like it took forever, but Sydney was ready with several venue recommendations and attended each site visit with us until we found the right one. All the vendors she recommended felt personalized to us and her communication and response times are next level! Anytime I reached out with a question she was ready with an answer. Does she sleep?! :)
On our wedding day, there was no rain in the forecast, but it torrentially rained on and off throughout the entire morning, right up until we walked down the aisle. I should have been stressed and worried in that moment since our ceremony was outside, but I wasn’t because I knew Sydney would adapt to the crazy weather and make it a wonderful day…which she did! I was impressed with the flawless execution of all the moving parts. Every detail was accounted for and seamlessly orchestrated. She greeted and coordinated all the vendors on the day of the wedding. As the bride, it was a huge relief not to have to stress about the logistics of greeting and coordinating the vendors. It allowed me and my family to fully enjoy the day!

Having mentioned a meeting with the venue, we were pleasantly surprised when Sydney joined us and engaged in discussions about details and our vision. It felt as if we had been collaborating for months. This unexpected and proactive approach was exactly what we needed. It solidified our confidence in Sydney's ability to take charge and get things done—a crucial quality given our busy work schedules and the demand for a full-service wedding planner who could handle every detail and bring our vision to life.
Throughout our entire wedding planning experience, Sydney wasn't merely checking off boxes; she was crafting an experience tailored to us. We engaged in multiple Zoom meetings, emails, text messages, and phone calls, and Sydney was consistently willing to assist us through all decisions, ensuring that all vendors aligned with our vision.
During our wedding, we incorporated specific elements that demanded meticulous coordination. Notably, we executed a full room flip from the ceremony to the reception within one hour, involving numerous intricate changes. One such change included relocating our stunning full candle backdrop from the ceremony backdrop to our sweetheart table backdrop. Although I later discovered that this particular task had stressed Sydney out, her execution was flawless, and I wouldn't have known given the seamless outcome. Additionally, the most incredible champagne tower, a delicate balancing act, became one of my favorite moments of our wedding.
Sydney played a pivotal role in finding vendors capable of creating and executing all our requests—a crucial aspect of our wedding planning journey. This encompassed the development of a custom staircase for our stage, crafting all signs and seating charts, designing beautiful panels that took center stage for our DJ, creating intricate monogram designs for our signature drinks, and providing exquisite flowers for our event, delicious cake, bridal party, and my stunning bridal bouquet. The list goes on, encompassing more elements than I could list here, demonstrating Sydney's unwavering commitment to making our wedding day extraordinary.

After being in a handful of weddings I knew that I wanted to hire a day of coordinator for our wedding. There are many things the day of you just need someone’s help with. Well, Sydney ended up going WAY beyond the expectations that I had. She was literally a lifesaver. She met with us a few times before the wedding and was extremely responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. I had somewhat of a vision for our wedding day but was missing a lot of the pieces. Sydney made those come to life. She sat with us and we talked through every part of the entire day. When the day arrived she got to the venue early in the morning and set up the entire reception venue. I was somewhat worried about the layout of the room, but I knew that I didn’t have to worry since Sydney was taking care of it. She partnered with all of the vendors on arrival and everything went off without a hitch. She stayed throughout the entire reception and was helpful in every area of the day. Not only did she put our nerves at ease but she made the reception venue look like a dream! I could not have imagined a more perfect day and it was thanks to her. If you are getting married, you need to hire A Piece of Harmony Events to help plan your wedding. I promise you will not regret it because Sydney is AMAZING!!
We hired Sydney for a Groom's Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Welcome Party that was held at 2 different venues the evening before the wedding. Sydney was friendly, professional, encouraging, and her communication skills were excellent. Whenever I emailed or called Sydney with a question, she quickly responded. I really appreciated her vendor suggestions for flowers. She knew how to move our rehearsal dinner folks along in a friendly manner, so we could stay on schedule, and when we arrived at the welcome party, Sydney was at the welcome table greeting guests with a big friendly smile, and encouraging them to sign the guest book. Sydney was fantastic to work with, and I would highly recommend her for any event where you want a friendly, encouraging, organized helping hand.
I knew going into my wedding that I wanted a Day of Coordinator for the event. I work in Philanthropy so I've helped at a lot of events so I know first hand how important having a coordinator is. I did a lot of research on Day of Coordinators in the area and the moment I talked to Sydney I knew she was who I wanted to hire. She is outstanding! As a covid bride I worried about a lot, but Sydney was always there to offer advice and reassure me. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony with our reception under a tent and well when the weekend rolled the forecast called for rain the whole time. Sydney helped me come up with a back up plan in case of rain. Day of, it rained most of the day with a slight break around when the ceremony was to be so my friends were encouraging me to move the ceremony outside. I asked Sydney what she thought and she had the best response. She told me as a vendor she would advise me not to do it, but as my coordinator she would do whatever I wanted. It was perfect response. I opted to keep everything under the tent, which thank goodness I did because right as we said our vows it started to down pour. If you want a coordinator that will help, guide and encourage you hire Sydney. She executed our vision perfectly and I didn't have to worry about a thing because I knew she was handling it all. Even our venue said she was the best Day of Coordinator they'd worked with. I can't sing her praises enough.
