Even though they are a "day of" coordinator, Abby was always available by phone or email to help with any and all questions that we had during the entire process of planning the wedding, and planning a wedding during the pandemic was no easy task. When it got down to a couple of weeks out, she helped us work out the timeline for everything and made sure all the vendors were doing their jobs at the designated time. And on the Big Day, we were able to relax and enjoy the festivities, because Abby handled pretty much everything, from dealing with the vendors, to doing all of the reception decor, making sure things got from point A to point B, and ensuring that everything flowed on schedule at the reception. As the mother of the bride, it was super important for me to be able to hand everything over to someone else that day, and Abby was up to the task! If I had one tiny criticism, it would be that she should have put aside her sweet nature to be a little more authoritative with us at the rehearsal, because I think our group needed some more bossiness! We got our act together though, and everything went perfectly at the ceremony. All in all a great experience with A Pineapple Affair, and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Working with Abby was absolutely amazing! From the moment I first contacted her to booking her, from our email communications to our in-person interactions. Abby is all-around wonderful to work with because she wants to make your day as stress-free as possible. She works hard to understand your vision and make your dream day what you have always wanted. She truly takes over and allows you to enjoy yourself, worry-free. Abby help me coordinate everything and took over communications with vendors, photographers, etc. I would not have had as perfect a wedding if it had not been for her. You need to get Abby on your team. Trust me!

Abby has been a fantastic person to work with. From the moment I asked her to be my planner she was on top of helping me find stuff and getting my mind on things I hadn't even considered! She was kind and understanding and went above and beyond to help me and to make my big day special!

Abby was fabulous! She was just what we needed on our wedding day to keep everything running smoothly! She helped coordinate with vendors before the wedding, was awesome during our rehearsal and went out of her way to make sure each moment was a success. Thank you Abby!!

I would not have had as perfect of a wedding day without Abby! She was fabulous. Made the entire process super easy from answering my questions through the planning to reviewing vendor contracts to creating a timeline with me for day of to walking us through our rehearsal to picking up the cakes my dad forgot to get day of the wedding (oops) to setting up the wedding BEAUTIFULLY and perfect for my super type A planner personality ;) Oh and did I mention she was 8 months pregnant!? Seriously so blessed - she was the BEST investment as it took A LOT of stress off of me day of the wedding and it would not have been as perfect without her. SO grateful for you, Abby!!

We could not have managed without Abby. She is so wonderful to work with. Abby was so easy going and did everything we needed her to do and more. At the last minute she had to run an errand that a family member, who shall remain nameless, forgot to do. She saved the day for sure! Once we gave her all the details for the day we never had to check up with her. I trusted her to handle every detail and she did. Here she was 8 months pregnant and I don't know if she ever sat down from 10 am till midnight. So imagine her energy when she is not "with child"! Her attention to detail was wonderful. Obviously I cannot say enough, she helped make the day perfect in every way.

Abby was AMAZING and we are so happy we had her by our side on our big day. We hired her to do Day-Of Coordination and she went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. A month prior to the event she stepped in and delivered a detailed timeline and took over all communication with my vendors. She was extremely organized and was always available for questions along the way. She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day and made sure every detail of the ceremony and reception was perfect. She is such a sweet, kind and positive person. We are so happy we hired Abby!

Abby was exactly what we needed! She met with me a month out from our wedding date and helped along the rest of the way keeping up with all of our vendors and handling details I wouldn’t have thought of myself. She was PERFECT! The day of went without a singble worry from me. I could focus on how special the day was and APA took care of all the rest. Highly recommend to anyone!!

Abby was so wonderful as our day of coordinator! She did SO much more than just day of help! She was so sweet and always willing to help with whatever we needed! She made everything so easy and made sure our wedding day was everything and more than we imagined!

I can't say enough about Abby! She made the entire process seamless and was such a joy to work with. As a type-A control freak, I was lucky to have Abby take over the process so I could actually enjoy my day. She handled everything perfectly and my husband and I honestly felt the entire day went 100% according to plan. We don't know what we would have done without her!

Abby was wonderful! She really stepped in and took over the planning process when necessary. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on wedding day! Abby even went above and beyond when my 5 year old needed to be taken care of when she couldn’t attend the reception. Abby stepped in and took care of her while still doing her job. In short, Abby is amazing and I definitely recommend her to plan your wedding.

Abby was seriously a life (and sanity) saver. She was my go to with any questions, she made sure the venue looked exactly as I needed it to/what I envisioned, and was great at keeping an eye out for any no-go guests. She’s also quite the fashion designer when it comes to keeping oyster juice off a bride’s dress. #trashbagdress I seriously can’t recommend her enough and will be sure to tell everyone in the Charleston area what an amazing coordinator she is! Make the best decision on your wedding planning process and hire her!

Abby was wonderful! She was extremely detail oriented and so helpful during planning. On our wedding day, she played such an integral role, and made sure every detail was right! She didn’t hestitate to jump in to any aspect, and worked so well with our vendors. She was absolutely delightful with all our friends and family! We were extremely pleased with her services, she was really great, we are so happy we chose to make her part of our day!

Abby was a joy to work with! I would highly recommend her. I was an out of town bride and she was a life saver. She always made time to talk to me, text, email etc. My wedding was perfect!

Abby goes above and beyond!!! From texting me about tiny details, to helping with every last detail of our day, no small task went unnoticed! She even came prepared with things we desperately needed and didn’t have (like tampons and anti-nausea mess). I can’t recommend her enough!

Abby goes above and beyond! She thought of all the little things that we didn’t know we needed to think about to get us organized. The day of she never stopped moving. She was an amazing help at ever moment, always ready with a smile and a drink for the two of us.

Abby is AMAZING hands down. She's crazy helpful, communicative, and detailed oriented. I was an out of state bride and would have probably lost my mind if A Pineapple Affair (APA) was not part of my day. My mom and I literally cannot imagine the day going nearly as well as it did. Abby worked well with out vendors before and during our wedding. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. If you are hesitating DON'T having APA be part of your day will be the best decision you could make!!

Abby was and is the BEST! She was there helping every us every step of the way, answering questions and offering advice. She wasn’t pushy and took great care to listen to what we wanted or didn’t want. She eased our minds of worry and helped us feel less anxious about the entire process by meeting with us in person and talking on the phone. Our family really enjoyed working with Abby too, because she was there at rehearsal and did a fantastic job guiding everyone on where to go, the cues to follow, etc. She was there early to help with the decorating and the reception looked spectacular! I really could go on and on about how much I enjoyed working with her, she’s really the sweetest! Very organized and hard working, and bless her heart for her patience, haha. Abby was absolutely amazing! Not only was she affordable, but went above and beyond what was expected of her. She did an incredible job helping me plan and set up the day of. I could relax the day of knowing that Abby was there! I have recommended her to 2 other clients who are equally as happy with her! I can’t imagine my wedding without her. 100% recommend.

Our daughters wedding was “a pineapple affair!” Abby was so calm and in control of every minute! I stress her demeanor as her gentle yet assertive approach was so reassuring that not only were we stress free of “details” but her creative touches were welcomed surprises! We highly recommend her!

I wish I could give Abby more than just 5 stars. She did an excellent job as our day-of coordinator! We had to move away from Charleston 5 months before our wedding so we planned everything way in advance and she helped us so much with last minute things as well. Abby has a wonderful attention to detail--I love how she offered suggestions on ways to make our wedding reception go more smoothly. She was super organized, too! She kept us on time at our reception even if it meant hopping on to the dance floor to get our attention! Abby has a wonderful spirit and a very caring soul. I wish I had another event to throw to work with her again!!! Definitely hire her to coordinate your wedding!

Abby is awesome. Not only did she set everything up perfectly without us having to worry about a thing, she truly went above and beyond. We noticed little touches throughout the night that we hadn’t even instructed her to do. She truly made the day a breeze and was so pleasant (and patient) to work with! Highly recommend!

We could not have hoped for more amazing support on our wedding day (and in the weeks leading up to it) than what Abby provided. She did an incredible job! Not only did we have a large wedding party but we had a lot of “extra” decor. She managed everyone with patience and grace, and executed every fine detail to perfection. In addition, her creative finishing touches were wonderful surprises! Having Abby there from start to finish was so incredibly supportive, both professionally and emotionally. Abby was a literal life saver when it came to our wedding. Our day of coordinator canceled on us two weeks prior to our wedding day. Abby reached out to me immediately after I put in a request. We talked on the phone and right away I knew she was going to be very easy to work with. She met us at our venue hours later and had already printed out all of our wedding information that she had gotten off of our website (and brought us some brownies to welcome us😊). She stayed so calm and collected on our big day and never once tried to go against what I wanted or ever got bossy (as I've heard some planners can be). There were tremendous amounts of wind on our wedding day and our decor and place settings were flying everywhere!! But Abby made me feel as if everything was going to be perfect, I had no worries. She also gave us the cutest little gift; a monogrammed Christmas ornament filled with shavings of our invitation suite!! We love Abby and would recommended her again and again!

Abby Parks with a Pineapple Affair assisted me with directing a wedding that was on a boat in Charleston in October. Of course it rained hours prior to the wedding and we had to make some last minute changes. She was awesome!!! She came up with some clever solutions under pressure and helped me pull off the wedding with no signs of panic to our guests! She is good at what she does, professional, yet fun to work with!

Abby did our day of coordination for our wedding and did an amazing job. Even though I had personally done all of the pre planning, I really had no idea what to do on the big day. I walked through the main pieces of the day and Abby created a timeline for us to follow and then kept us all on task. She even made suggestions for special little extras that I wouldn’t have thought of. She really took a lot of stress out of my wedding day allowing my to enjoy the experience without worrying about when we need to move on to the next activity or when I needed to pay the vendors. I can’t recommend her enough!
