We loved A Platinum Event catering. The food was absolutely incredible and Emily was so wonderful to work with. Everything at our wedding went seamlessly and working with A Platinum Event was one of our favorite parts of the wedding planning process.
A Platinum Event is the type of parter you dream up for your wedding day. A caterer is a unique partnership that requires constant communication, trust, and dependability. We (alongside our 120 guests) can't say enough positive things about the entire team and meal...four months later. Emily, you embody what it means to go above and beyond - thank you. You represent the industry so well, and you are such a big part of what made our wedding as special as it was. I'll ever be able to adequately thank you.
My husband and I wanted several personal, custom touches (freshly shucked Taylor Shellfish Farm oysters, custom cocktails with accoutrements, Beecher's cheers, Macrina rolls, family style pasta to honor his Italian roots...the list goes on). Every detail exceeded our expectations on our wedding day, and our guests continue to rave about the food and drinks being the best they've had at a wedding.
While we had the blessing of enjoying the incredible meal we spend hours planning on our wedding day (we knew we had to prioritize this), I'll also never forget the memory of our tasting. We did a tasting with our moms, and had an opportunity to meet the chef. The personalization and care this team offered long before our day arrived helped us move through the planning process with ease and peace of mind. They freed us of stress and angst. Thoughts of "will this taste just as good when prepared for 120 people" dissipated and somehow it was even better on our wedding day!
I can't recommend A Platinum Event enough. What a world class team that represents the best in customer service and quality!
A Platinum Event did a stunning job with our wedding catering for our 150 person wedding. Not only was the food superb (we're still getting compliments on the skirt steak and salmon we selected), their team is friendly, personable, and eager to make your wedding day all that you could hope for and more. One thing we really appreciated about A Platinum is the warehouse of decor they allowed us to use FOR FREE with our wedding catering. A Platinum also took care of ordering/managing all rentals needed for our big day - having one less vendor to manager was so helpful and as a result, they were able to get us a discounted rate with the rental company. Justin, their executive sous chef brough us a plate of appetizers directly after our wedding to ensure we did get time to eat. Emily was responsive, communicative, and helped to ensure every detail was as we had pictured on our wedding day. This team has the experience needed for a larger wedding, we would highly recommend them to any couple for your wedding day!
They stole the show! From the first tasting appointment all the way through the wedding they were so accommodating to my ever changing mind. The food was amazing, they were dietary restriction friendly which helped as we several guests with allergies. They also offer day of coordinating by Kari. She was wonderful and has impeccable taste. She was able to take all my thoughts/wants etc and combine them together for a stunning wedding all around. No detail went unnoticed. We have had so many compliments on the both the food and décor since our big day and it truly wouldn't have come together without a platinum event! They were also fairly budget friendly for a family style meal.
The team of A Platinum Event goes down in my books as being #1 in all things!! From the amazingly delicious food that our guests still talk about, to day-of coordination services, and even seamstress MacGyver work when my dress was ill fitting and I needed to be sewn back in.. they are amazing and I recommend them to anyone and everyone I meet!
I cannot say enough good things about Kari & Michael Toni. They were recommended to us by several people, including the manager at our venue. Our first meeting/Tasting was so delightful that we chose A Platinum Event the next day without considering any other caterer. The service and attention Kari and her team extend are superb, before and during your event. We heard from so many guests at the wedding how great the food was. For our particular event we went with passed appetizers and plated dinners. Michael uses great seasonal ingredients, and executes them so well, even when there are over 100 guests to serve. Kari's attention to detail and organizational skills were fantastic; she kept everyone inline and timed everything perfect. With A Platinum Event you not only receive delicious and elegant food, but a day of coordinator that makes your day go as smoothly as possible!
Kari was beyond amazing. Her eye for detail is beyond fabulous. Kari brought my vision to life with such a timeless and yet elegant approach. We had the opportunity to take a sneak peek into the reception room before the guests entered for dinner and it nearly brought me to tears. It was just stunning! If you want the most amazing food, decor, attention detail, then this is who you need to book for your wedding. Stop your search at A Platinum Event!
When I first started my wedding planning, my caterer was already figured out. (Last year, Columbia Winery had one catering option). However, when that changed, I had to select a caterer from three options. I spoke with all three companies, and personally met with two. Michael and Kari Toni went above and beyond all my expectations, and that was just the tasting! My husband, myself, and my parents visited their kitchen was blown away by their food. Kari knew we had already received a contract with the first caterer, and made accommodations to meet the first price point. Kari and I emailed back and forth, and in those correspondences I knew Kari was going to make sure everything was perfect. However, in the beginning, it would take a few days until I heard back from Kari. But closer to the day of the wedding she was available at all times and quick with responses. On our wedding day, Michael and his team of chefs cooked the food in the kitchen at Columbia Winery, so everything was fresh and amazing. Our guests raved! Especially, about the Coconut Prawns. Kari worked the front of the house, to make sure tables, décor and flow of event was going to plan. She also made sure my husband I had warm food, and everything else we needed. I don’t think either of us actually went to the bar to get beer, wine, soda or water! Kari and our wedding planner were on top of it!
The actual day of the wedding went great without any problems. This vendor takes care of everything including decorating, food and service. My only complaint is they were extremely difficult to get in touch with, which made the planning process tough.
