A Posh Production was so great to work with. David was very responsive and helpful and knew our venue well. The addition of string lights to our outdoor venue absolutely made the night beautiful. The scheduling and clean-up process was seamless as well.

A Posh Production did a beautiful job. They were so good about helping us problem solve and timely. The workers were fabulous. The only reason I give a 4/5 is because when a surprise cost was added to our bill, Dave showed us anther invoice to compare costs, and that made me a bit uncomfortable...Otherwise, communication was great and the work was beautiful.

My husband and I hired A Posh Production to install string lights for our wedding over Memorial Day weekend at the Community House in Winnetka. We worked with Dave and he was ridiculously responsive and helpful (I don't know if he sleeps based on how fast he would answer our emails). I would not hesitate to hire them in the future and definitely recommend their services!

Dave with A Posh Production was great to work with! I came in knowing NOTHING about pipe and drape or uplighting and he walked me through it all without making me feel like an idiot, lol. His opinions were helpful without being pushy and, above all, he helped my venue look BEAUTIFUL. Even to the point my now husband finally understands what pipe and drape is and how important it is!!! I was referred to them by my planner and from the first email exchange with David to the planning and all of the questions in between - my experience was incredible. David was responsive and informative. I went back and forth a lot with a monogramed dance floor to drapery and David was so patient with me. Him and his team truly delivered on the wedding day - they did our entrance drapery, up-lights, and dance floor. EVERYTHING was perfection. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

Wow!!! David was so helpful when we decided to add a dance floor with vinyl wrap last minute. We had attempted to search earlier on for a chrome floor option, but other vendors weren't able to accommodate. We decided to give it one last go about a month before the big day, and David and his team really came through for us! I wish I could share a picture, because the chandelier reflecting down on the chrome, mirror-like dance floor was just stunning. Thanks, David!

We were recently married in June and hired A Posh Production for our drapery and lighting at Crystal Tree Country Club. They work they did was absolutely breath taking! It made the space feel so warm and intimate and we could not have asked for anything better! Highly recommend this company for your special day!

A Posh did an amazing job for our wedding this October. We hired them for a white vinyl dance floor cover and draping behind our band stage. David/Dave was our main point of contact and was absolutely amazing! He was super responsive to emails and answered all of our questions. A Posh Production was accommodating during all of the venue changes and wedding date changes due to COVID-19. They did a fantastic job with the uplighting service. We highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying that Dave was THE BEST vendor we had in terms of communication, he was extremely quick to respond to emails and placated thousands of my questions and runaround decisions. A Posh Production did a great job on our indoor/outdoor lights and rented decor (four wine barrels). I was disappointed that one wine barrel with an expensive arrangement we ordered from the florist was set up out of place where guests couldn't really see it but otherwise the lighting was magical. The ceremony music/sound was perfect and everything went off without a hitch. Dave also did a great job MCing the speeches/special dances, rolling with our delays in timing. However, the reception music was just not good. We provided Dave with a Must Play and Play If Possible list and were disappointed when a lot of songs that my husband wanted to hear (Johnny B Goode, Jailhouse Rock, Twist and Shout) weren't played even though the night started out with older crowd pleasers. Even more disappointing was that it seemed like Dave was trying to go in order of genres so he played slow songs that weren't on our list and ran out of time to play the two country slow songs we were really looking forward to dancing to (In Case You Didn't Know and Tennessee Whiskey). Further, the two most popular songs we requested (Shape of You and Despacito) were played back to back instead of being spaced out and Dave made an unsolicited announcement for late night food right in the middle of one of them. Finally, we requested that the reception consist of popular late 2000s music and there were a few songs we had to ask Dave to skip because we've never heard of them. We ended up sort of taking over and continuously provided suggestions to keep the crowd dancing. Since then, I've been to a couple of weddings and realized how hard it actually is to find a good DJ so I would suggest going with one you've actually heard play at an event.

We worked with Dave from A Posh Production to help with lighting and entertainment. Poor Dave had to spend over an hour with us on the phone because we just had no idea where to begin or how to explain what we wanted. Somehow, his team managed to put together everything we had talked about by just blending a few concepts I liked off the internet. It really is an accomplishment their team did this because the descriptions we used were "we like this color, but lighter". We also used their projector and screen to display a slideshow during cocktail hour and we had a photo booth that we used for our guestbook. When in doubt go larger on the photo booth. We had some squished faces, but we chose the smaller option and they definitely have one to accommodate larger groups. Can't think Dave and his team enough!

Food, drinks, music- like most people, these were the most important aspects of our NYE wedding reception. We are so happy with our DJ, Jeff, and the service we have received with A Posh Production (the lights we perfect, too!). Our guests kept asking about the music- everyone loved it. People were dancing all night, it was absolutely perfect! From the first meeting, we clicked with Dave (the owner) and Jeff. We didn't even meet with any one else. Dave is super organized, very professional and makes planning so easy. We highly recommend A Posh Production and Jeff!

We worked with David to add some unique lighting for our NYE wedding at the Knickerbocker. He was so easy to work with and really made our vision come to life. On a day where the bride & groom are not very available, David was able to work with our coordinator to pull everything off. We were so happy with the final product and would definitely recommend!

Ordered the Outdoor Lights and 6 wine barrels around the poles! LOVED it... It looked amazing. POSH had the best price around and the lights were up when we went to set up and when the wedding was over at 12am.... They were there to take them down! I can't say enough!! We recently had Posh Productions for draping, lighting, and music with DJ. We were blown away how beautiful everything was from the ceremony to the dance floor John the DJ had our guests dancing all night long. I would highly recommend them for a wedding .

They did an incredible job lighting my reception at the Adler Planetarium. At its baseline, the Planetarium has very simple studio lighting which does not do justice to the fantastic architecture and views. A Posh Production provided pinspotting for the centerpieces, uplighting of the beams in the planetarium, and hanging lanterns. They transformed the venue into a glamorous and warm scene that felt really special. The hanging lanterns were especially cool. I asked them for "warm colors" (I didn't give them a lot to work with). They created a waterfall of lanterns of different sizes in rose, orange, and yellow that perfectly matched my style with the "planetary" theme of the venue. They were also very flexible and easy to work with, even when I asked for some last-minute additions. They were truly one of the vendors that went above and beyond my expectations, and they were an integral part of making my reception so special.

Dave and his team made the night amazing! They did such a good job of reading the crowd and flowing in and out of certain types of music. He was very flexible and made sure everything was done to our specifications. Would highly recommend!

A Posh Production provided our string lights for our outdoor reception this past weekend in downtown Chicago! The lights looked amazing and they were SO easy to work with. Definitely recommend them for lighting and decor!!!!

Unfortunately, we were less than impressed. When we met the DJ about a year before our wedding, we discussed the types of music we like. From that day until the wedding, we completed the "must play" and "do not play" lists on the DJ's website, as instructed. The week of the wedding, we had another call with the DJ to walk through our song selections and preferences. Again, we told him the types of music we like and we were told if anyone made a request, we would be asked first whether or not it could be played. We were confident going into the reception that the music would be great. Some of our "must play" songs were not played and some of our "do not play" songs were played. Our favorite types of music were not played. I went to speak to the DJ 3 times about the music being played, my husband once, a groomsman once and eventually, our wedding planner. An example - an inappropriate Lil John rap song was played (at the request of a guest, without our approval) as one of the first songs of the night. It shouldn't have taken over 5 conversations with the DJ to play the music we discussed for weeks, and even then, our music was not played.

Working with DJ John from A Posh was great! He was so friendly and professional. The music he played at our wedding was exactly what we wanted. We needed a little bit of everything to be played (classic, rock, hip hop, typical wedding songs, etc.) since there were different cultures and age groups coming together, but we also wanted more emphasis on hip hop and top 40 music to be included since that’s what my husband and I are into. John was able to pull everything together, which was a pretty difficult task to do since he had to include a mix of American, Indian and Polish music. I met John when I signed on with A Posh and we exchanged emails for music ideas and had a couple phone conversations closer to the wedding date. What I appreciated the most was John's ability to play and mix the music we wanted on our wedding day without having to meet so many times beforehand. He was always responsive via email and phone, and everyone at our wedding loved the music. Thanks John for making our wedding day a night of dancing and fun we’ll never forget! I also worked with Dave from A Posh who coordinated all of our music and draping décor needs. Dave was awesome to say the least and very professional. He was extremely responsive to any and every email or phone call, always answering my questions and providing additional helpful information, and was very reasonable and understanding when it came to what we were looking to do and what we could afford. Thank you Dave for being so easy to work with and for providing high quality services!

Our wedding was everything my husband and I imagined and I truly believe Matt and his team at A Posh Production made that possible. We hired A Posh Production for DJ, lighting and photobooth services. The venue looked so dreamy and the dance floor was full from the first song to the last. Matt helped us plan out the night, but was professional and accommodating when last-minute changes came up. He didn’t hesitate when I told him at the last minute that everyone in our six-person wedding party, plus my dad, was going to give a speech. He spaced out the speeches perfectly so no one got bored sitting through too many in one stretch. He really knows how to keep the party going and his music choices were perfect. From the second we walked into our cocktail hour and even after the wedding, my guests were complimenting the music. From planning to execution, he was amazing to work with. Hired A Posh Production for our white vinyl dance floor. Matt is awesome and very hepful as well as David. It looked perfect, and when they arrived to the venue the dance floor wasn't ready yet so they had to come back a second time. Didn't know about this till after the wedding, but they didn't let me know which is a good thing because I didn't want to be stressed about the details. Thank you!

While we originally overlooked A Posh Production, as we were trying to keep our DJ costs down, we quickly found out that "you get what you pay for." After a disappointing situation with another DJ company, we reached out to Matt Windsor on a personal referral and are so happy we made the switch to A Posh Production for our wedding reception DJ and lighting. Matt and his team were so welcoming and assured us that our celebration would be a night to remember. It was perfect! The online planning resources were easy to navigate at our convenience, while the personal guidance and recommendations by our DJ were especially relevant in the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Our DJ, Dave, really made sure our needs were met and kept the dance floor packed all night long. He seamlessly facilitated the accompanying music to my sister's Maid of Honor "rap" and multiple guests commented that they loved how our DJ wasn't cheesy and kept the party going with great music selections. The blue uplighting was beautiful and set a stunning backdrop for all of the photos at our reception. Matt was the DJ for my daughter's wedding. He also provided lighting, a fabric backdrop, and a dance floor. The music was amazing! The entire wedding was up on their feet - all ages - ALL NIGHT LONG! We hired Matt Windsor, owner of A Posh Production to provide lighting, sound, and to be our master of ceremonies at our wedding. We were blown away by the service we received. Matt was attentive to our requests and our needs. Since Matt is very talented, we only had a few song requests, and he made sure we were in the room and aware of when they would be played so we did not miss out. He made sure to inform our guests of any announcements that needed to be made throughout the evening, and he even made sure the bride and groom had their cocktails during dinner. He was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend him to any bride and groom who are looking for a professional, knowledgeable DJ/MC/lighting professional for their event.

The entire scheduling process, meeting the DJ and using their website was super easy and an over all great experience. The music and flow were great, People were saying awesome music and dancing all night. However.....the microphone equipment and speakers were terrible. The venue we used for our wedding pretty long and outdoors and they set up the speakers on one side near the dance floor while the other had nothing. People sitting on that end of the room couldn't hear the speeches or the music!!! Also, the microphones were shotty and had background crackles to the point you couldn't make out what people were saying. Really disappointed, but DJ Dave made up for it in good music.

We went with Posh Productions for our wedding DJ and string lighting at our reception (at the Botanic Gardens). We could not have been happier with our decision. Posh was the first DJ company we met with for our wedding this past August 2014. The pricing was similar to other companies we talked with in the Chicago area, however, they didn't rush us in our initial meeting and took the time to get to know us as a couple. Oliver was our DJ at the wedding and I honestly can't say enough good things about him! He called me before the wedding to go through all the details one more time and during the reception he not only nailed the music but did a great job at being an MC and keeping to our timeline. We had SO many guests come up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how awesome our DJ was. We also had string lighting from Posh. We worked out all the pricing with Matt and he gave us a deal to have both the lighting and DJ services. They were on top of everything and I never had to worry about reaching out to them. Without them our wedding would not have been so smooth! I have nothing bad to say about them and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Chicago area!

Matt Windsor did an amazing job! We had never been to a wedding where the dance floor was consistently jam packed like it was for ours. That was all thanks to Matt. I can't say enough about A Posh Production. We quoted several companies for drapery before I ran across them. I was not prepared for $4000+ quotes for drapery. They came in to visit the venue, gave me options to cut the cost and were more reasonable to begin with. So I was very happy with the price. In addition, our venue originally told us APP could set up the day before the event. In the course of planning they changed plans on us and told us they'd have to set up within the 2 hours prior to the wedding. Matt at APP was so nice about this and told us it would be tough but they'd hire more staff to have it done and that they'd be unloaded and ready to go when the doors opened. The venue again changed course and they were able to get in the day before so the time crunch wasn't an issue. I was just so relieved that they were so flexible and willing to commit more resources without making us pay for it. Oh, and the drapery turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend them.

My husband and I used A Posh Production for our October 18, 2013 wedding for our DJ services (ceremony music and sound and reception) as well as uplighting. Matt is a true professional and keeps his word when he told us he'll make sure the dance floor is always packed. Everyone keeps telling us that we had the best wedding they've ever been to. I really feel like our wedding would not have been as amazing as what it was without A Posh Production. He made sure everything ran smoothly and always asked if something was okay to do before doing it (we asked for no group songs like the YMCA and chicken dance, but asked if the Cupid Shuffle was okay as a guest requested it). We had a great time at our wedding thanks to A Posh Production. Matt was our DJ for the night and kept our guests on their feet all night long. He was extremely helpful and answered all of the questions that we had prior to the wedding, and even made time to skype with us since we lived in a different city. You can request all of the music that you want prior to your wedding and has detailed planning tools available. We loved working with A Posh Production!

Matt at A Posh Production was awesome to work with, and really eased any concerns I had about the lighting design for our venue. From the beginning he was so responsive and answered all of my questions via phone and email, and was very kind through it all. At our walk-through at the venue, he had one of his staff come out and talk us through everything which helped us envision exactly what it was going to look like. We rented their chinese lanterns and italian string lights- which were beautiful. These cafe lights were expensive, but actually Posh's prices were the best I found out of all lighting companies. We also had a video slideshow during the reception, and we were able to use their projector and truss to project the video onto the screen seamlessly. They took care of every technical detail of that so that I didn't have to, and that was such a relief. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MATT!! It is amazing what some lighting can do to transform the entire venue, and my wedding was absolutely beautiful because of your artistic supervision! :)

Wow. That was all I could think when I walked into my reception room. I don't think you could peel that smile off my face if you tried because the room was completely transformed, and much of it was thanks to A Posh Production and Matt's help. Their uplighting, white dance floor, intelligent lighting, and photo booth made my wedding night absolutely stunning. Matt- thank you SO much. You truly were accommodating- he met me at my reception location so I could figure out what uplighting I wanted, and when we ran into a problem with the white dance floor not being permitted at my location, he worked quickly to find someone who would provide me one we could use. And I cannot say enough about the photo booth. So many people commented on how much fun it was, how much space there was in it, and how cool it was to keep one of the photo strips and put one in a guest book for us. Those pictures are priceless. I am so glad I came to your company and definitely would recommend A Posh to anyone going through the wedding planning process. Matt was awesome, and so were the services we had. A posh was very professional during the planning period. We were able to go in and see what lighting they had before the wedding. They were able to match the lights to the songs our DJ played. We really wanted that club-like feel and A posh did a great job to create that environment.

I got a great rate for full room lighting and a custom gobo. They lighting and gobo really made the room. The color was perfect and the process was very easy. I was planning this wedding from out of town and A Posh Production made it very easy for me to set this up without ever having to go to their location. I would definitely recommend them to others.

A Posh Production did our wedding this past July. They provided a marble white dance floor, uplighting, GOBO, photobooth, and an amazing DJ, Oliver. A Posh Production made it so that we had no worries about the running of the night. Their timeline, attention to detail, and constant communication allowed my husband and I to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. My husband and I, as well as our guests, were in awe as we walked into the reception hall. The DJ setup and lighting was classy and personalized to our wedding day. Oliver, our DJ, was as excited as we were about every aspect of the night. It was great to feel that this night going perfectly was just as important to him as it was to us. He was truly happy for the reason of this reception and not just there doing a job. With Oliver, the dance floor was alway packed. We did not have many songs on our play list and were comfortable with this knowing that Oliver would ensure a great production, which he absolutely did. He was an engaging MC and was always making sure that we were enjoying the night. The lighting was phenomenal. Before meeting with A Posh Production I was not planning on doing lighting in my reception hall. I have learned that the perfect lighting makes the room look exceptional. If I could give one piece of advice for brides and their reception it would be to having lighting from Posh. The photobooth was a blast. Our guests were so excited to use it. There was constantly a line to take pictures. It was fun to be able to have the photobooth album that night and look at the pictures that were taken the next day. We could not recommend this company enough. Their professionalism and services were outstanding and far beyond any other wedding DJ company that we have ever seen. After attending our wedding, many of our friends have made comments to the effect of how A Posh Production will be the only company they will consider when they get married. Matt was beyond helpful to us during the wedding and planning. I didn't know much about how to plan a wedding and at the last minute, Matt came to my rescue with helping me pick songs for all facets of the ceremony, before and after, and music for the night. He was awesome to work with and kept people on the dance floor all night. He also was nice enough to ask me if I minded certain songs to be played.

I could not be more satisfied with the quality of service that we received from Matt at A Posh Production. From the time we booked him as our vendor, until the last song played at our wedding...he was professional, helpful, and thorough. I had a Greek-American wedding, and Matt was able to provide us with music for traditional dances, as well as work with us for the music that we provided on our own. He was sure to contact me days before the wedding to confirm pronounciations of our bridal party names for the grand entrance. A Posh Production has a very convenient tool online for event planning. You can make your payments using paypal, pick your must play list, do not play list, as well as plan your wedding timeline. We let our bridal party pick the song that each "couple" was announced to at the reception, Matt did an excellent job at clipping the songs to the perfect part for a fun entrance. He was also able to provide special sound clips requested by our best man as part of his speech. We are still getting compliments on our DJ, I've gotted several e-mails and phone calls asking for him information. He had guests of ALL ages on the dance floor, and never at any point were you like, " this is SUCH typical wedding music". I can't say enough good things about him. He also provided us with our uplighting for our event. I was on the fence about this in the beginning, I didn't know if it was worth the cost. A Posh Production offered very competitive pricing when booking multiple services through them. Once I walked into my reception, I was amazed at how the uplighting transformed the room.
