Malea provided partial planning services over 1.5 years and then Lyndsay filled in for last minute planning and day of coordination. They were both amazing and we are so grateful to them! They made wedding planning so low stress and actually fun, by taking away the complicated and time consuming parts. When we had rain in the forecast during the last week, Lyndsay stepped up and figured it out. When it ended up raining with 5 minutes notice her and the team made a quick smooth pivot of the plan. Also every one of their vendor recommendations was top notch.
Where should we begin? Since the very beginning, Amber has understood our vision and brought our ideas to life in a way that we knew we were incapable of doing. She created the perfect wedding day for us! Not only is Amber professional, talented, and organized, but she is also creative and able to think outside the box. Our entire experience with her has been nothing but positive and enjoyable! Thanks to Amber, we felt virtually no stress throughout the entire planning process. We had complete trust in her and we have no regrets. It is evident that she is passionate about her career. She becomes excited when discussing color schemes, design layouts, and focal points. We remember during some of our conversations, she would have a certain twinkle in her eye and display enthusiasm for specific ideas, and it was clear that she could envision the entire wedding in a way that we could never have imagined. Not only did she help us find vendors that met our stylistic needs, but everyone we spoke with agreed that she was the best of the best. She also introduced us to professionals whom we genuinely enjoyed getting to know. She handled any mishaps or detours with grace, persistence, and innovation. When our venue notified us late in the process that there would be a concert on the same day as our outdoor wedding, Amber advocated for us. She battled through countless emails to ensure that our ceremony would not be disrupted by the noise from the other establishment. On the day of the wedding, she ensured that everything came together seamlessly and truly orchestrated a wedding that surpassed our expectations. We have received so many compliments regarding wedding details we would have never thought of. We are incredibly grateful for her and her talents in helping us create a memory that will last a lifetime.

I worked with Malea of A.Renee Weddings and Events on a partial planning package and it was the best decision I made when it came to planning my wedding.
Malea hit the out of the park with every element including stellar vendor recommendations, thoughtfully executed design, and guidance in staying on track and hitting planning milestones.
After seeing Malea’s previous work, I was pretty confident I wanted to work with A.Renee so my wedding would look like what I imagined. But what I didn’t understand was what the team brings to the actual day is the real magic.

Hiring A. Renee Weddings & Events was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. We did partial planning with Malea. Malea was easy to talk to, professional, and has a great eye for design. We knew our wedding was in good hands after our first meeting with her.
There are so many moving pieces with wedding planning and many things that we did not think of, but she made it easy for us to know what we needed to do. It was also very helpful that she communicated with vendors for us during our planning months. I can’t imagine how many emails she saved us from. She is also very responsive and answered any questions we had. She helped immensely with the design portion of our wedding. She curated a beautiful vision from florals, linens, signage and more!

Amber is simply the best - we connected with her in October '21 after attending a wedding that she planned (we were impressed with the design creativity and fun party vibe) - and worked with her to plan our wedding in July '22 (9 months later). I (bride) had very little time or interest in most details (even less interest from husband, unsurprisingly) - I just knew that I wanted a colorful, memorable party with good vegetarian food options. She took that and created an absolute dreamscape of an event for us at the Admiral's House. I might be biased, but it was the most fun // sexy // creative-but-classic wedding (ever). Amber walked us through the process and decision points at every step - always came prepared with high quality vendor options, was open to feedback - stayed calm and organized on our wedding day when my HMU vendors arrived late. At one point during planning I got frustrated with a vendor's work quality - Amber communicated my feedback effectively and ultimately get the vendor to deliver exceptional results. I highly recommend just showing her some photos and letting her handle the details - she'll get it right every time.

I had an ultra romantic and super lush floral wedding style in mind and Amber went above and beyond to make sure we got just that.
Not only is Amber a true professional, but she is also kind, personable, thoughtful, understanding, and has an incredible eye for detail to make sure that everything is perfect for you. Even if she has several weddings to plan at the same time, you will never feel it when you talk to her because she makes sure to make you feel that your needs are prioritized and cared for.
Whatever your budget is, she will make sure to respect it and give you the best recommendations.
Whenever we felt uneasy about an estimate or idea, Amber handled it swiftly to keep our mind at ease - which is so important when it comes to wedding planning because you really don’t know how much goes on behind the scenes to make a successful wedding happen but she does. She understands the timeline for wedding planning to make sure you have everything you need in time but can also pull out backup ideas/vendors like a magic trick.
So if that that wasn’t enough for you, witnessing how Amber interacted with each wedding vendor she recommended to us was proof of how much respect she has in the wedding industry and how much respect she has for them.
Everyone we worked with shared the same qualities as Amber and had obviously formed a great connection with her from prior work together as well.
The team we put together was truly a dream team. Amber made sure that everyone was always on the same page and our wedding felt like a blink of an eye because of how smoothly everything was handled.

Working with Amber made planning our wedding from across the country a breeze! She is calm and collected, honest, efficient, organized, really a true pleasure to work with. Amber planned my February 2022 wedding in Seattle, and she is amazing! Every step of the way, the whole process was better because of her. She recommended our favorite vendors, who we wouldn't have known about without her, and we benefitted from a lot of discounts she brought us. She is detail-oriented, thorough, and most of all, calm. :) I know she was handling a ton of conversations with the venue and other details in the background, so I got to experience the fun parts of planning and not the stressful parts. I loved the process of planning with her, but once the wedding weekend arrived, I didn't even have to think about planning—Amber and her team took care of everything (vendor load-ins, linen deliveries, set-up, everything), and the day went absolutely perfectly smooth. She's the best, and I highly recommend working with her!
Amber was the best planner we ever could have asked for!
We utilized Amber for her full service planning option and she was hands down, amazing! Amber was there every step of the way, helping us choose amazing vendors and using her design skills to take what was in my head and make it a reality. Not to mention, she handled my indecisiveness with compassion and ease, which isn't an easy feat having a whole additional year to let my head wander.
After having to postpone our wedding a year due to COVID, Amber handled every detail of making the postponement as seamless as possible, while also handling double the amount of weddings as typical. She demonstrated absolute expertise and stayed on top of numerous details & custom elements that made our day truly unique to us.
In all of our vendor meetings, she helped guide the conversation and was clearly an expert when it came to what questions to ask and helped handle necessities vs wants.
On the day of, she was incomparable, executing everything perfectly. She truly made the wedding of our dreams a reality. It freed us up to have a blast on the best night of our lives. Working with Amber was hands down THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. We were one of the many pandemic couples who ended up having to postpone our wedding date twice from 2020-2021. Amber was there every step of the way, handled everything seamlessly, and went above and beyond to ensure we ended up having the best wedding. When we were first interviewing wedding planners after we had gotten engaged (2018), Amber came extremely prepared with examples of her work and sample files of how she plans/executes weddings. She was head and shoulders above anyone else we interviewed and we immediately knew she was the one.
During the planning process, Amber was always there to answer my endless amount of questions and help me with my extreme indecisiveness. She is very organized and kept us on track for all things for our wedding (both financially and timeline-wise). She is very honest and all her recommendations for vendors were the absolute best. We were able to put our full trust in her very early on.
When it came to design, Amber is very creative and has a great eye for everything. We had a very unconventional vision to capture the surreal vibe inspired by a horror movie called Annihilation (very colorful florals that don't exist in real-life and have a weird/creepy vibe about them) and she was completely on board. We also added the extra complication of having so many different hanging installations for the florals and the lighting (big disco ball installation with chandeliers) . She recommended the vendors that she thought would go best with our vision and we really ended up with the ultimate dream team. When finalizing design, I had a couple reservations about some of her color choices, but we ended up going with it and it couldn't have been more perfect. Truly an expert!
With the pandemic, she seamlessly handled coordinating with our vendors and was completely there for us even though she had the busiest wedding season of all time this past summer (2 wedding seasons in 1). We are truly grateful for all the work she had put in when her bandwidth was spread as thin as it was. In our final coordination meetings with all our vendors, she really showcased her expertise by asking all the right questions to ensure everyone was prepared to have things running smoothly the day of. Without this, we honestly would have missed so many things and not have been able to enjoy our wedding day ourselves.
Fast forward to our wedding day, her day of coordination was impeccable. I was relaxed the entire day and knew I could trust her with everything. We fully enjoyed our entire wedding and were able to eat/party without any concerns. With the amount of coordination that was required from the many different vendors/many installations that had be installed that day, it truly was executed perfectly. She was also just the best energy to have around. I cannot think of a single issue that happened.
I highly recommend Amber as a planner, designer, and/or day-of coordinator for any of your event needs. She is very knowledgeable, organized (a perfectionist!), creative, responsive, and just an overall wonderful person. She goes above and beyond for all her clients and has a great eye for any type of design. Having her be in our lives for the past 3 years has been the best and we are so grateful to have met her. Our guests have all commented that our wedding is the best they've ever attended and we'll remember every single detail for the rest of our lives.

One of the reasons Amber stood out above other wedding planners we considered was her eye for design. She listened and asked questions that helped us figure out what we wanted for our big day and elevated that to another level, but all while making sure the day would still feel like us.
We only had our venue at JM Cellars picked out and we had no idea who we wanted to use for rentals, florist, photographer, catering, DJ, paper goods, hair and makeup, cake, and all other wedding related things. Amber listened to our preferences and budget for our wedding and made great recommendations. Every vendor we worked with was someone she recommended and wow, we felt like we won the wedding jackpot. We loved every vendor and they all contributed so much to create an unforgettable event for our guests and us.
We had a pretty short time frame for planning our wedding of about 6 months during COVID. Amber was so knowledgeable and her experience in the industry really shined during the whole wedding planning process. She always kept us up to date on new restrictions for weddings. When the outlook was looking better for June 2021 weddings we were happy we were able to include more family and friends and we went from 40 to 65 guests. Amber seamlessly changed the design and footprint of the wedding for us, and spoke to all of our vendors, and made the necessary changes for our larger guest list. We also ended up getting married during one of the hottest days of the year (100-degree day) and she was quick to respond and make any changes we needed the day of.
JM was transformed in two hours from a winery to a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception, and I still can’t believe how it was all accomplished that quickly. It was the best decision to work with Amber and it allowed my husband and I to take the whole day in and enjoy every moment with our friends and family.
Amber planned our 25-person intimate wedding ceremony at my family’s home on Camano Island, and also a 90-person reception the next day in Seattle at Dockside at Duke’s. She worked with us for over a year and half, through COVID and ever-changing restrictions (up to the week of!) and was sole reason our wedding weekend was so effortlessly stress free for me and my new husband. She was so communicative and detailed; I loved her lists and timelines – they were a lifesaver! It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and it all came together so beautifully! She provided vendor recommendations and they were all perfect and successful! I felt totally comfortable having Amber pick our dream team – they are the experts! I had to give very little instruction and guidance and the end results were everything I could dream of. It was such a joy to work with Amber and I really don’t know how we could have done it without her, especially in these crazy times! In the midst of stressful venue and state restriction changes, she kept us updated in an informative, but calming way! I never had any doubts that Amber would make it all work out in the end. I'm not one to leave reviews, but wow, Amber is incredible! When I first got engaged I knew I wanted to hire a wedding planner, and all I can say is I'm so thankful I came across A. Renee Weddings & Events! Amber exceeded every expectation I had. She's so talented and professional and will truly make your wedding day dreams come true. She gets to know her clients and works closely with you to make sure she captures your vision. Being a covid bride there were so many ups and downs along the way, with so much uncertainty. But Amber remained positive and worked with whatever the world handed us along the way. I can't recommend her enough! I'm already trying to think of my next event I can hire her for!
Amber is a consummate professional, with a wealth of experience and strong reputation in the industry here in WA. She is patient and genuinely cares about her clients—who they are and what’s important to them—and goes above and beyond to ensure her couples have the wedding of their dreams, even if this means planning and re-planning a wedding multiple times over due to the impact of COVID-19 for a couple living on the opposite side of the country.
We hired Amber around the middle of 2019 to provide Partial Planning & Design services for our May 2020 wedding. Not long after hiring her, Amber got to work helping us with vendor-booking. For nearly every type of vendor—from caterer to photographer (and even things like stationery or wedding website platform)—she would provide ~3 initial recommendations based on our wedding vision and vendor availability (which she would have already confirmed). In every case, we ended up going with one of her initial picks because they’d always be spot-on. As a result, we were able to assemble our wedding vendor dream team, who were all absolutely fantastic to work with. Because my (then) fiance and I were in NYC, most of our planning was done through email, but when we came to WA for the holidays, Amber was gracious enough to book multiple meetings with us to work out a huge chunk of the planning details in-person. By the beginning of 2020, we were feeling like our wedding vision was coming to life. Needless to say, COVID-19 really upended that.
While my fiance and I spent the last couple weeks of March and into April contemplating the difficult decision to postpone our wedding, Amber was already getting in touch with our venue and vendors about our options. When we did decide to postpone our wedding to October, she was incredibly supportive of us and immediately started working with our vendors to put the updated contracts together. With every shift in the guidelines & restrictions coming down from the governor, Amber was on top of it, helping us find the best solution under the latest circumstances and giving so much of her time and emotional support to us in the process.
To conclude, our wedding day wasn’t quite what we had envisioned at the start of the year, but it could not have turned out more perfect, and we credit so much of that to Amber. We felt at ease the entire day and we had so much time to just enjoy ourselves and take in the occasion—including the gorgeous designs that Amber had a hand in planning. My husband and I are so grateful to have had the chance to work with Amber; she was there with us through it all and, quite simply, the best purchase decision we could’ve made for our wedding.
We hired A.Renee Weddings for final coordination and it was seriously the best money we spent. The majority of our guests traveled in from out of town for our wedding. Amber of A.Renee allowed us to focus on our family and what we needed rather than the small details of the wedding. She made awesome suggestions for us that I would have never thought of while also providing awesome recommendations for other vendors we hadn't hired yet. The day went off flawlessly and I had multiple guests tell me it was the most enjoyable and smoothest wedding they had ever been to! Don't think a second more, seriously just book A.Renee.

We decided to get married in Seattle. As this is not where we live, we needed someone who could help us speak with vendors on our behalf, take our ideas and vision to heart, and turn our wedding into a reality without us physically being with them. Amber was all of this and more. Amber’s knack for design, attention to minute details and organizational ability make mundane things magical in execution. She has a poise, demeanor, and attention to detail that makes you feel as though everything is in hand when she is around.
We provided her with a color theme but Amber’s design savvy eclipsed our expectations and propelled our look into a more elevated design. She helped us fine tune the look by providing suggestions and sample photos of everything from chairs, flowers, lighting, table designs and cakes. Thanks to Amber our wedding turned out more beautiful than we could ever have imagined.
Amber was also very attuned to our budget. As she was our intermediary for vendors, Amber helped us stay within our allotted budget by providing a varied list of professionals that fit our needs and style. (Some she’s worked with and others she has not.) Amber’s professional standing is of a sterling quality among several of the top venues and vendors in Seattle. Even the places she had not worked with knew of her work and were eager to work with her. We were told numerous times by vendors, “Amber works magic. You’ve chosen a good one.”
The day of the wedding, Amber was in her element. She arrived on time and was composed. She effortlessly took charge and coordinated with the vendors and venue director to get everything in order. Staff at our venue/ hotel remarked continually on how well organized everything was and how relaxed my bride and I appeared. Our families loved her as well and appreciated the direction she gave them so that they too could relax and enjoy the event.
Amber was our rock throughout our wedding planning process. We worked with her for about the 6 months leading up to our wedding -- she helped to bring to life the design vision we had for our wedding, and then executed that vision flawlessly. Amber's knowledge of the Seattle-area wedding industry is extensive, and she helped pinpoint picture-perfect vendors for us, from florals to cake. On the day-of the wedding she was calm and collected, and allowed us to really be hands-off and truly enjoy the best day ever!
Amber expertly navigated the dynamics of varying opinions, vendor contracts, unforeseen obstacles, and the stresses that come along with planning a wedding, and kept my husband and I as sane as possible throughout the process.

We talked with a few other wedding planners before meeting Amber, and, much like our first date, we knew pretty immediately and unequivocally that she was the one. There is no way we can truly express how helpful, meticulous, thorough, and thoughtful she was throughout the entire planning process. There were also so many little details that we would have completely overlooked had it not been for Amber. She has immense knowledge, experience, and expertise, and also has connections to some of the very best vendors around. She helped us assemble a team of people who were not only incredibly competent and skilled at their respective trades, but who, like Amber, are genuinely kind-hearted, wonderful people. Amber has a true talent for what she does, and she does it with so much kindness, grace, and professionalism. She listened attentively to our very loose wedding vision, and turned it into the most beautiful celebration we’d ever seen. We’d begun the search for a venue before we met Amber, with no luck, and one of the first recommendations Amber had—Fireseed Catering—ended up being the venue of our dreams! We got endless compliments from family and friends about the beauty of our day, and attribute so many of those sentiments to the way Amber helped our vision come together, and the care she took to ensure we didn’t have to think about anything other than each other on that day.
We planned our wedding (which was on Whidbey Island) while living in Nashville, Tennessee and attending grad school, and Amber was incredibly accommodating with the time difference, our schedules, and the variety of conference calls we had with vendors throughout the year. She was also an amazing and irreplaceable liaison between us and all of the vendors, and negotiated all of our contracts and pricing quickly and effectively. We cannot fathom how tiresome that process would have been if we’d done it ourselves, and know without a doubt that we would have ended up paying more for a lot of services and goods than we did.
I am not exaggerating when I say I did not have even a hint of stress on our wedding day, and I attribute most of that to Amber having taken care of every last detail so that I didn’t have to. The other small part I attribute to not having a bridal party, and opting to get ready with close friends instead! It also poured right before our ceremony, with no guarantee or hint of stopping, and Amber calmly asked us if we’d prefer to keep the ceremony outside, or move it inside. When we opted to keep it outside, she was completely supportive, and did not question our choice. In the end, that turned out to be a great decision (the rain stopped, the sun came out, and it turned into a beautiful Washington summer day), and Amber was there to honor our wishes, as she had been during the entire process.
If you or your fiancé(e) are hesitant about hiring a wedding planner, as we initially were, know that hiring Amber is absolutely an investment in your well-being and peace of mind during the months of planning. The time and stress she saved us is incalculable. I got questions from friends and family during the months leading up to the wedding asking if the pre-wedding stress had set in yet, and it truly never did! Amber also did a fabulous job of helping to accommodate our wishes and vision while staying within our budget. We are not exaggerating when we say we hit the jackpot with Amber, and genuinely can’t imagine having entrusted this process to anyone else.
Amber was great to work with. We were introduced to her by the photographer that we booked. My husband was hesitant with having a coordinator and did not see the benefits. In the end, he saw how much time, coordination, and communication that Amber did with all of our vendors! She helped create and articulate the vision and design for our wedding. We are so happy with how everything turned out and happy that she introduced us to the rest of our wedding team. It is so important to have a team that works together on the day of your wedding. I cannot recommend A. Renee Planning any higher! Having Amber allowed us and our wedding party to fully enjoy our wedding day.
Hiring Amber as our wedding planner was, hands down and without a doubt, the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. Amber genuinely listened to our priorities and preferences from day one, tailoring every design aspect, vendor recommendation and logistical detail to fit our personalities, wedding vision and budget. The thought of wedding planning seemed daunting to my husband and I at first, but Amber’s professional, organized and incredibly friendly nature made our wedding planning experience hassle-free and wonderfully memorable. Amber is absolutely phenomenal. The past year and half, we knew we could
Count on her. I lived out of state and she was on top of everything handling back and forth emails with vendors and I, scheduling meetings every time i was in town, dealing with the RSVP’s, payments, and I could always count on her suggestions with designs and etc. I absolutely trusted her with everything and knew we were in good hands from the start. I looked forward every time I saw her because she makes great company! She eased a lot of stress from me on my wedding day because I knew she could handle it all. She was able to pull of a 250+ guests, NFL/Polynesian, glamorous dream wedding. In my eyes my day went perfectly smoothly because of her and her team’s hard work. I could not have imagined going through wedding planning without Ambers help and we are so thankful we had her as our planner. She is amazing at her job and I know she will make more brides happy and satisfied like she did with me.
At first I was adamant that I did not need a planner for our wedding... I am SO glad that I saw the light and hired Amber!! We booked her planning and design package, and it was without a doubt the best money we spent on our wedding. She helped us make our vision (sort of a Mexican fiesta-themed wedding) come to life in such a fun yet classy way. Both my fiance (now husband) and I have crazy busy schedules and as soon as we got engaged, I knew the most important vendor in our whole planning process would be to find the RIGHT wedding planner. The fact that I interviewed SEVEN wedding planners and decided on Amber right away after meeting her (yes, she was the seventh) should say something.
It's not that I didn't see the other planners as incompetent. But with a wedding planner, unlike your other wedding vendors, you need a lot more than just competency. This is the person you will be communicating with the MOST throughout your whole planning process, discuss every single vendor, receive advice on style, and may even lean on at times to seek emotional support during this highly stressful time.
So not only does your wedding planner need to be good at their job (oh, and Amber is amazing at her job), but you need to LIKE and TRUST this person. You also want to know that they CARE about YOU. Throughout a whole year of planning, I never felt like I was just "one of her clients." I felt like I had the most attentive and reliable friend who really cared about me and my wedding, but would of course also be amazing at helping me make the best decisions to bring my vision to reality.
Amber has a calm, poised, and genuine presence. She is highly professional, but friendly; Extremely organized, but flexible. She is prepared and reliable. I had a few "situations" on the wedding day that I could've really freaked out about, but in no situation would she panic and would just "take care of it" in her usual calm and professional manner.
My bridesmaids also instantly liked her and were so impressed with Amber that towards the end of the night they even pulled her in onto the dance floor and she danced with us for a few minutes before putting her "professional hat" back on to take care of the rest of the night. :)
I had a pretty damn awesome wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without Amber.
Amber was a dream to work with! She made my whole process so easy. During our early meetings she understood my vision and helped guide me towards choices that I wasn't sure I needed to make - and they all paid off so beautifully. My vendors were fantastic with her guidance. Throughout the last month Amber made sure we had everything wrapped up and ready to go. I didn't have to worry about a thing the final week and I was so delighted as we had a lot of family in town. I would recommend Amber over anyone else I worked with as she was so organized but not overbearing. She is the type of person you just want to hang out with after all is said and done.
I first met Amber at Urban Unveiled right after our engagement and I knew right away that I wanted to work with her. Amber is not just incredibly organized and detailed-oriented (two things essential to event planning), but an incredibly talented event designer! She is amazing at asking the right questions to understand what you are trying to accomplish and helping you achieve your desired look in a way that is completely unique and specific to you. She also helped us budget appropriately and showed us which elements to invest in for the biggest impact. Every vendor she recommend to us was wonderful and she was amazing at creating a very detailed timeline which allowed our vendors to work together smoothly and efficiently. Her eye for design is impeccable and our wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The day of the wedding, as well as the month leading up to it, wasn't stressful in the least bit and everything went so smoothly. My family didn't have to lift a finger and they were so grateful to be able to relax and enjoy our wedding.
Beyond being an absolutely wonderful wedding designer and planner, Amber is an incredibly kind and warm individual. I looked forward to every meeting with her and she truly goes above and beyond for her clients. We are so incredibly lucky to have had her be part of our special day!
I cannot recommend Amber highly enough! From design to execution she was the very best person to have in my corner for wedding planning. She has an amazing eye for details and was able to recommend different ideas for our wedding that were eye-popping while staying inside our budget. She’s a very kind, patient person, which does a world of good for a stressed bride and her family. On the day-of she had everything under control. The event ran on time, and went off without a hitch. It was really the most perfect day and I couldn’t have done it without Amber!
