We did not have a great experience with this place when we used them for our wedding. First of all, we were only given two rental companies that we HAD to use or we had to give a $2000 pay out for someone different. So we really didn’t have an option. I say this also because I feel like they get customers regardless so it didn’t really matter how we were treated.
We were sent a quote and it was already drawn up and nothing was explained or talked about before they sent it. So I emailed to ask what all of this meant on our quote. No response. So I emailed again. After multiple attempts I got an email back and was able to set up a phone call to go over everything. They sent us a catalog that explained everything on the quote and we were able to change the things we wanted to change (which was quite a bit because, again, we didn’t have a say on the quote at first). I asked for an updated quote with all our changes and didn’t get it.
Throughout the process of planning, there was very poor communication. It was take weeks for them to respond to emails and multiple emails being sent. Then about halfway through we get an email saying that the person we were working with moved to a different position so we would be working with someone else. When we had the chance to talk to her we told her about the changes we had made to our quote and NOTHING had been changed. So we had to go over everything again and all the changes we had made months ago we had to go through them all. Super inconvenient.
I gave 2 stars only because a staff member I talked to multiple times (I’m guessing a sales coordinator or secretary) was very pleasant to talk to and would respond quickly. The company brought the wrong photo booth wall the morning of the wedding so I called her and she was quick to get us the right one. We also had a great experience with the rental company setup crew. They were friendly and would make sure we liked where everything was and how it was all set up. Overall, we would say proceed with caution when using this company because it made things a lot more difficult with little communication to the people that practically are in charge of majority of your wedding things.
I have never posted a negative review online, but I feel like it would be wrong not to in this case. I hired A Rental Connection for my wedding at Saddlerock Ranch and paid them over $11,000 only to end up with poor quality rentals, horrible communication and appalling customer service.
To all Saddlerock couples, I know that they only give you two rental company options without paying extra, but save yourself the nightmare and go with any other company.
Even with all of the issues below leading up to my wedding, I was ready to just move past my horrible experience with ARC. But to see the poor quality of items the day of, I feel compelled to warn future couples. Rentals was our single largest vendor and the rentals I received were not even worth half of what we paid.
I only wish I had stuck with my gut and ran far away from this company. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
QUALITY:
The quality of items that I received was horrendous. Please see photos on my google review. To name a few, the ghost chairs were dirty and almost every single one was visibly scuffed up. The white dance floor was uneven (many people tripped) and had filthy black marks all over it. I could even understand if there were a few scuff marks here or there, but this was jaw dropping.
EXECUTION:
A Rental Connection would not even complete a walk through at the venue beforehand. Suddenly, the day of my wedding we are about 10 tables short and our caterers have no tables to work with. My caterer said, "A Rental Connection should have known to include that." I have never been married or planned a wedding, so of course, there are things that you rely on the rental company you hire to advise you on. My wedding coordinator also let them know that she had not worked at the Hilltop location at Saddlerock, and would rely on A Rental Connection's expertise to complete the rental order. Needless to say, A Rental Connection did not follow through.
COMMUNICATION:
As with many COVID brides, my wedding planning process was not easy and many things changed throughout the process. My other vendors were incredibly understanding, flexible, and professional. Kristi at A Rental Connection however, told me flat out "I am not going to spend anymore time on your quote until we have a deposit." Why should anyone be expected to give a deposit without knowing what the final quote total will be? This is the job of a rental company, and you shouldn't be made to feel like a burden.
It would take 3-5 emails or phone calls before finally hearing back from anyone throughout the process. It was difficult for my wedding coordinator to get a response from them as well. Finally the week of my wedding, (after Saddlerock had to call the owner) they started being more responsive, so we were able to make some necessary changes to our order... to rub salt in the wound, they charged $150 for "last minute changes". Of course there are last minute changes... you only just started being responsive.
The problem is not just one person (Kristi). My venue, Saddlerock had to reach out to the owner several times in order to get someone to respond to us. I wrote to the owner, Les after our wedding to express my concerns and received nothing back from him (in true ARC fashion). I followed up... and received a response from someone else, offering to waive the fee for the last minute table delivery charge, which should have been on my quote from the beginning had A Rental Connection done their job properly.
Bob at A Rental Connection was great to work with for our wedding. He helped us select all the items we wanted to match our style. Their inventory and selection was great and he also was able to acquire table linings and plates they did not have in inventory to help capture our vision. He was also helpful with allowing us to store some larger décor items we brought ourselves and set them up for us on the day of. The day of was seamless and looked beautiful! Overall, working with Bob and A Rental was very smooth and hassle free. We would recommend them to anyone looking at rental options for their wedding or event.
My fiancé and I have been working with A Rental Connection for the past year in planning both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. It has proven to be a great advantage to have the catering and rentals connected. Carlos of A Rental Connection and Stephen of Melrose Catering are truly exceptional to work with – they are helpful, patient, kind, enthusiastic, flexible and knowledgeable. We are so thankful for their guidance and for their detail-oriented, timely communication. In terms of rentals, there is a great range of options to choose from for all types of celebrations, and visiting the showroom to make our selection was such a fun and unique experience during the planning process. We trust completely that our rehearsal dinner and wedding will look gorgeous and so well organized. We look forward to continuing to work together through our wedding weekend in Spring 2021!
They are really easy to work with and are quick to respond to any calls and emails. They have a great selection and variety of styles for all your rental needs! The set up looked great and was hassle free on our end. We worked with our planner (Sarah Coplen of Little Grey Events) and ARC on a layout example to show where we wanted everything to go and it was just ask expected when we got there! If they are within your budget I would recommend using them!
Bob is such a professional and very easy to work with. No matter how many changes where requested he delivered everything exactly as ordered. His rentals are high quality and his his team is as professional. Only reason giving 4 stars is he’s not flexible on pricing at all even when Jon are spending a considerable and. I’m the end however, you get what you pay for and he was an incredible vendor to have
Working with A-Rental was an incredibly easy process. Bob patiently listened to our vision and then facilitated us through the whole process. He gave us great suggestions for our venue that he knew very well, and best of all he did NOT try to up sell us at all. He even made great suggestions on how to save here and there. He's a very trustworthy guy. Everything was delivered on time and looked great. We'd use A-Rental again in a heartbeat.

After exploring several options, we opted to use A Rental Connection as recommended by our wedding venue. Unless your venue offers pre-set tables, chairs, linens, flatware, etc., you may find this can be an overwhelming process. Not the case with A Rental Connection! We paid a visit to their showroom where Kristi was extremely helpful with finding options that fit our budget yet also fulfilled our wedding-design visions. Furthermore, A Rental Connection has a great reputation with several wedding venues, so when it comes to setup and breakdown you can rest assured they will get the job done right and on-time! The rental company had everything we needed for the wedding even for last minute need for more heaters and the website is easy to navigate.
I took away a star for some initial rudeness and confusion when I started this process and needed questions answered. Apparently, I wasn't suppose to contact them, they were only accustomed to speaking with my catering coordinator only and so I didn't get pricing or catalog when I requested it (I had to be insistent and follow up a few times). I feel like that could've been handled better. I wanted to see the pricing of some items since I was deciding on the type of layout we wanted at the reception (rounds of 10, long tables, stations & cocktail tables only etc). I wanted to make this educated decision to see what was feasbile with my budget before getting my catering coordinator involved.
Other than that, it was all smooth sailing. Delivery and pick up went off without a hitch.
Bob is the best! This was the part of the wedding that I dreaded. I know what I want, but cannot verbalize it well But, Bob understood. He is so dedicated, talented and hard-working. My place setting, tables, plates, forks, everything were so perfect for our venue. Everyone on the team is so great to work with. You must use A Rental Connection!
We can not thank them enough! Our original venue canceled on us 24 hours prior to our wedding because of the fires in the Venture County area and they were able to make our special day happen. Even with the extra stress, they were happy to be there for us and knew exactly how to make our wedding a success. Thanks so much, A Rental Connection!
AMAZING SERVICE! Bob went above and beyond helping us style our big day. He was patient and kind every step of the way even though we changed the chairs, tables, and layout so many times!! Amazing service and rental inventory from ARC. Carlos was excellent with customer service and our ever changing needs for our wedding. Our venue came with nothing so we used ARC for our chuppah, ceremony chairs and furniture & reception furniture. Wish they could've worked with us more on pricing but overall I think what we paid was worth the cost and excellent service. They are a little more affordable than other rental vendors in the area.
A Rental has a great selection of everything you could possibly need for your big day! Bob was so helpful with putting together the best package for us and had great advice to offer as well from outdoor heaters to chairs to bars to predicting the weather, our event was beautiful thanks to A Rental!

ARC is great! We worked directly with Bob who was amazing. We did a showroom visit to pick out all our rentals, and Bob had great suggestions to help us along the way. They have tons of options at really great prices, no matter your budget, so it was nice to have his opinion when we were narrowing things down. He was very professional and responsive via email whenever we had questions. He also worked with us on some last minute stuff the day before our wedding when we wanted to make some small changes.
The company was there early on our wedding day, and everything was in place well before our guests were set to arrive.
I highly recommend Bob and A Rental Connection. He really knows his stuff!
We used A Rental Connection for some specialty linens for our wedding day. They had very competitive pricing and were easy to work with. We would recommend them for any event!
Kristi was super helpful with determining what rentals were needed and was very accommodating with our numerous edits. Day of everything was exactly as planned. Highly recommended.
We rented all of our rentals from ARC for our March 11th wedding at Orcutt Ranch. They did a fantastic job and have so many options to choose from.
We also hired strike laborers from them to move the chairs from the ceremony to the reception. This was fantastic and definitely money well spent! They were so fast that our guests hardly even noticed them working.
Do yourself a favor and hire them for your event!
We needed some a few extra pieces to round out our wedding and got the recommendation to work with Bob at Rental Connection. It was a great choice. Bob was easy to work with and very professional. They had some great wood feasting tables that we brought in to mix up the room and a 8x8 wood wall to us for our escort display piece. He also met us at the venue a few months before the big day to walk through the space and helped us figure out the best lighting options. We even rented some copper mugs from them for Moscow Mules. Great experience and I'd highly recommend working with them for any wedding or big event.
I used A Rental connection for our wedding. They were great to work with, have a large inventory, great pricing and responded quickly with emails. They showed up on time and set up was perfect. It was a pleasure working with them and they were stress free! They got every detail right and there were a lot of rentals because our wedding was at a venue we had to bring everything in ourselves. They were very accommodating to changes along the way and then they worked with my coordinator and caterer the week of the wedding to finalize the rentals list. I was a very happy bride!

We were referred to Bob at A Rental Connection by Michelle at Hummingbird Nest Ranch for our wedding there. He was knowledgeable, professional and really listened to what we had in mind. He really helped us hone in on our vision for our wedding decor.
We had to make numerous changes throughout the wedding planning process, and he was really flexible. Very easy to work with, and reasonably priced. And the day of the wedding, everything looked amazing.
Bob at A Rental Connection was absolutely incredible! First off, a super pleasant guy to work with. I'm a Type A personality and tended to control much of my wedding in terms of vendor choices. He beat all in terms of quality and service provided (hands down) and the value received made my wedding dream come to life.
Trusted him implicitly as he's a preferred vendor at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and I knew, off the bat, he was the one. Hummingbird Nest is a complicated venue because I needed to essentially build my wedding from the ground up. He's a master at this and never once suggested items beyond what I absolutely needed. His quotes on various textiles and misc., when I presented them to my wedding coordinator, shocked them because they were unbeatable by far.
Bob even threw in a few special touches to my surprise. He was very responsive to all my emails and phone calls and I felt like family by our wedding day. You seriously can't go elsewhere and find his level of experience, caliber of service and incredible value provided at a steal. Thank you so much Bob and A Rental Connection! (And also Michelle Peranich at Hummingbird who led us to this gem of a vendor!)
We used the Vanessa china collection. Very beautiful. Great service. We went a few days before our wedding to see things in their showroom in person (recommended) and the ladies at the office were so helpful and nice, they stayed past closing time working with us while we decided on our order.
We worked with Bob and he made sure everything was beyond perfect. I couldn't have been happier. He went to the venue 3 times with us too!

my only negative is that I did not love their selection of linens so I used a separate linen company but everything else was amazing.
my title says it all. i received the best treatment from a rental connection, and the delivery and pickup was SO easy and hassle free! WOO for a rental and their beautiful glassware :)
