Kyra and her team were absolutely amazing! Throughout the entire day my fam and bridesmaids and I kept saying that we truly didn’t know what we would have done without her. She thought of all the little details we never would have considered, kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, and somehow even managed to keep the guys in line (lol)
She made the entire day feel effortless, and it truly was more perfect than I ever could have imagined. Her assistant was also incredible and made me feel so calm and at ease right before I walked down the aisle when my nerves were definitely kicking in, and also helped afterwards with handing out party favors, etc random tasks I wanted in the moment.
I will 1000% recommend Kyra and her team to anyone planning a wedding. You can tell she genuinely puts her heart into everything she does. She is incredibly thoughtful, organized, and caring, and I’m so grateful we had her there to help make our wedding day so perfect! And I know my fiance feels the same.

When we first started planning, I was so excited and eager to take it all on myself. I had a clear vision of what I wanted, the look, the feel, the vibe, but quickly realized that event coordination, timelines, and vendor wrangling were not my strong suits. Then, as life would have it, our family went through a series of losses and heartbreaking news in the months leading up to the wedding. My energy and motivation completely shifted, and I honestly don’t know how I would have made it through that season without Kyra.
She stepped in with so much grace, compassion, and professionalism. She brought our vision to life seamlessly, handled every detail, and made sure our day ran flawlessly. We did our own florals and décor, and her team took care of setup and teardown, everything was executed to perfection. Kyra communicated constantly, kept our families in the loop, and responded to every question or concern with lightning speed.
Our wedding day was stress-free, beautiful, and full of joy, and that’s all thanks to Kyra and her amazing team. I cannot recommend her enough. If you’re even considering A Summers' Day, don’t hesitate, book them. You’ll be so grateful you did.

We came into the wedding planning process with pretty amorphous ideas about what we wanted - we knew we wanted to include some nods to Harry Potter without being a “Harry Potter Wedding” and we knew we wanted to find budget-friendly vendors that also added great value to our big day. Kyra helped with every aspect - taking our “vibes” and turning them into beautiful color schemes, decor, and experiences we will remember forever. She is extremely organized, talented, and well-connected to some of the best wedding vendors, from caterers to photographers to DJs. Leading up to the wedding, people would ask us if wedding planning was stressful, and because of Kyra, we could answer with a resounding no. On our wedding day, we got to be present in every moment knowing that if anything was going wrong, Kyra was handling it like a true pro and letting us fully enjoy our day. You can tell that Kyra has been in the industry for a while, especially with the itinerary she created and with the information that was distributed to the vendors and the wedding party. There was a hiccup with one of the vendors on our wedding day and Kyra covered it well and made sure that the stress from this mishap did not make it to the bride and groom. The Summers' Day team did a wonderful job setting up the venue and made it look better than I could have imagined. The person in charge of tear down, also did a great job and I am thankful that A Summers' Day offered that service even for an event that ended at 1am.

Summer’s Day coordinated my wedding. Kyra arranged planning sessions monthly and she took the time to really understand how I wanted the big day to go and what my type of style was. She communicated via email regularly and quickly responded to all my questions. She had great recommendations and the day went perfectly! We also had two groomsmen out because of Covid, but I never felt stressed because Kyra handled everything. She was extremely organized, quick to respond, creative with planning, kind, and just so helpful! Everything was perfect because Kyra and her team saw to it. She was able to make sure we had everything planned that we needed, asked all of the right questions of each vendor, and was the sweetest and calmest person to work with. I was able to truly relax and enjoy myself on our wedding day because she had everything handled. Our friends and family gave us so many complements on how organized everything was and how the whole day went so smoothly, all thanks to Kyra and her assistant! Hands down the best money we spent for our wedding, she was worth every penny (and her rates are incredibly reasonable for all that she does!). She was awesome at communicating with other vendors and being flexible with the timeline and getting everyone on the same page for our rehearsal and day of. I felt so relaxed knowing that she was handling everything. She also went above and beyond and helped with my bustle which we struggled with, and ALWAYS checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything and had a fresh drink in our hands. ages offered, A Summer's Day was hired as our day-of coordinator, she contacted all the vendors a week prior to our big day, and created timelines for our family, the bridal party, as well as a master copy. She ask all the right question, checks every block, and keeps you from externally becoming a bridezilla. Kyra from A Summers day really feels like a part of the family and was so helpful the days leading up to our wedding as well as making sure everything was handled the day of. Having her as our wedding coordinator allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest. I cannot recommend a better company to assist you on your big day. If you are thinking of hiring a coordinator, DO IT!

ogle search and from our first meeting, I was seriously blown away! Kyra was so detailed and on top of it that a friend in the room with me decided to book her too! She went through the final venue walk through with me, helped reach out to all vendors with a final timeline, created helpful google docs with different timeline views for vendors and family, and made sure everything went perfectly on the big day. She was waiting at the venue for the girls and boys to arrive, directed all the vendors when they arrived, and corralled all family to one place for family pictures. Kyra and her team helped set up for the ceremony and then a full room flip for the reception! It was wonderful to have Kyra with me before ceremony start and she made sure the dress and veil were perfect. She managed the timeline and made sure everyone was on the same page as far as what should come next. Tiny problems and questions never even reached me because Kyra took care of everything!! She even packaged up as much as she could before she left at the end of the night to help with load out. It was amazing to have Kyra on our vendor team and I was so thankful for her! I would recommend her to anyone in the KC area in a heartbeat. You need her for your big day!!!!!

Throughout the day if anything happened, I didn’t know about it because Kyra already had it handled. If I ever had a question or uncertainty, even as simple as “do I wear my veil for outside photos?” Kyra provided her expertise and positivity and kept me on track that day.
Kyra took so much stress off my plate. She put together our timeline, organized all the vendor arrangements the week of, and handled every single detail for our rehearsal and wedding day. Our family and bridal party raved about Kyra, noting how smooth and seamless she made the entire day for everyone. Every vendor we hired told us how great Kyra was to work with. Trust me, you need a coordinator and you need it to be Kyra. We wanted to enjoy our wedding day, and thanks to Kyra we did!

e that happened. She went above and BEYOND, calling the Mayor's office, in constant contact with my mother, and doing everything in her power to make sure my day was perfect. When I was thinking of back up plans, Kyra was flexible and on board with all of my back up plans. I can honestly say that my wedding day would not have gone as smoothly or as perfectly if it wasn't for Kyra and her team. She made sure every single detail was in place and I did not have to worry the entire day because I knew that she had it handled. From our initial meeting, to text messages and phone calls, to the wedding rehearsal , to the actual day of the wedding, Kyra pulled everything off without a hitch. She was timely, organized, kind, and thoughtful of the details I had not thought of yet. Out of every vendor I had hired for my wedding day, Kyra was the best. I COULD NOT recommend someone more. She was in constant contact with all 10 of my vendors, even those who lived out of state, and went way above and beyond her duties as a wedding planner. The whole day went by smoothly and there were no problems, which I feel is pretty unordinary for a wedding day starting at 7 AM and ending at 11 PM. Thank you Kyra for everything that you did to make my day amazing! It would not have been near as perfect if it wasn't for you!

we signed a contract with her she was checking in and doing follow up calls. Our walk through was a breeze with her there making sure that our vision was coming through and our requests were met. Honestly, the day of wouldn't have been the same without her. She was the calm that we needed to make sure everything went smoothly. She met with all the vendors at the space and set everything up so we could enjoy our day with our family and friends. She not only set up the ceremony but she also did a room flip for the reception. Directing and setting up all the floral arrangements, cake table, gift table, etc. When we walked in everything was perfect, even the small details we had discussed once were perfection. She took our vision and made it come to life. She also made sure we stayed on schedule and checked in to make sure we were doing good throughout the evening. Random things I didn't know I would need the day of she had ready for me after one request. Lastly, she packed up everything we brought into the venue and labeled everything so we didn't have to worry about it at the end of the night. I am so glad we decided to use her, our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her, we can't thank her enough!

Kyra was a tremendous help in organizing all the small details in the lead up to the wedding, from arranging visits and providing suggestions, to creating an itinerary and keeping in contact with our vendors. The day started off a little rough due to some uncontrollable circumstances but Kyra was able to solve the issue with a quickness like nothing ever happened! Not only is she extremely professional but also one of the few organizers who would fit into our budget. Kyra and her assistant was warm, approachable, and efficient and always had smiles on their faces. Kyra has a great energy and a genuine love of what she does, even our suppliers commented on how wonderful both Kyra and her assistant was to work with. We would recommend her to everyone and can't thank the both of them enough!!
