Kyra did an AMAZING job with our wedding!! We hired her for the month and it was so nice not having to stress about the details. She made everything go so smoothly and our day was perfect!

I used Kyra and her team for my wedding, and it was one of the best investments we made when planning our wedding. She is on point, and nothing went wrong; our wedding was seamless. Her attention to detail, coupled with her professionalism, is something to admire.

Hiring A Summers' Day was the best money that we spent on our wedding! Kyra and her team did a fabulous job coordinating with vendors the month before our event and took away my last minute stress. You can tell that Kyra has been in the industry for a while, especially with the itinerary she created and with the information that was distributed to the vendors and the wedding party. There was a hiccup with one of the vendors on our wedding day and Kyra covered it well and made sure that the stress from this mishap did not make it to the bride and groom. The Summers' Day team did a wonderful job setting up the venue and made it look better than I could have imagined. The person in charge of tear down, also did a great job and I am thankful that A Summers' Day offered that service even for an event that ended at 1am.

Kyra’s eye for design made my wedding venue look more spectacular than I could have ever imagined. Kyra and Caroline are absolute gems to work with and I'm so unbelievably happy A Summer’s Day coordinated my wedding. Kyra arranged planning sessions monthly and she took the time to really understand how I wanted the big day to go and what my type of style was. She communicated via email regularly and quickly responded to all my questions. She had great recommendations and the day went perfectly! If anything went wrong, I had no idea, and I think that is a true testament of what an amazing planner Kyra is. She really went above and beyond and I would recommend her to any bride who is looking for the best day ever!

Kyra, Caroline and Amy were amazing to work with. My husband and I had thought that we could plan our wedding without help but with him & I still in school we realized pretty quickly we were wrong. Our parents also weren't really excited about this idea either when we brought it up but by the end of the wedding day they couldn't have been more appreciative! When we first talked with Kyra she was so detail oriented, organized and didn't charge one flat rate for everything. She listened to what we needed and priced her services accordingly. A Summer's Day team was so personable and helpful that we ended up also hiring Kyra for the reception coordination/decorating. We loved every minute of our stress free wedding day. We LOVED Kyra! I am a pretty organized person and didn't think I needed a coordinator, but I am so thankful we decided to use Kyra! She was so helpful the week of coordinating all our vendors and allow me to relax before my wedding day! During the wedding, she was there to help with all the little tasks that no one had time to do! She made sure all the vendors were there, everyone was in the right spots at the right time, checked in with me throughout the whole day to see if I needed anything, and overall just helped our day run smoothly and perfectly! After interviewing several wedding planners, I was drawn to Kyra's warmth and calm demeanor. She guides you through the process with such ease and grace. I felt very comfortable and confident in the fact that she could handle such a big day with all the bumps in the road - including bride & groom being late because there was a fire in the building photos were being taken! My family had rave reviews, as well. Props to you, Kyra.

Kyra with A Summers’ Day was absolutely indispensable! Having her as our day-of coordinator was amazing. Not only did she oversee all the setup of our venue, but she reached out to every single vendor to make sure everything was ready to go. At one point on our wedding day, my vows were lost and she found them for me! We also had two groomsmen out because of Covid, but I never felt stressed because Kyra handled everything. She was extremely organized, quick to respond, creative with planning, kind, and just so helpful! Everything was perfect because Kyra and her team saw to it. It was a pleasure getting to know Kyra and a privilege having her as our coordinator. Cannot recommend her enough!

I hired Kyra as day of coordinator. I can honestly say that our wedding would not have gone as smoothly. From the preparation to clean-up Kyra and her team were on top of everything. The day ran according to plan without any major speed bumps. Many of my family members complimented Kyra for her professionalism, efficiency, and preparedness. Kyra was the absolute best day-of wedding coordinator we could have ever hoped for! I was very anxious leading up to our wedding, but once we started working with Kyra on all of the details starting about a month before the wedding, all of my anxiety went away. She was able to make sure we had everything planned that we needed, asked all of the right questions of each vendor, and was the sweetest and calmest person to work with. We needed a day of coordinator to help with the flow of the day so that our family was able to relax and enjoy as well. Kyra was so awesome on our wedding day. I wasn't even aware of any issues or anything because she handled everything. She was awesome at communicating with other vendors and being flexible with the timeline and getting everyone on the same page for our rehearsal and day of. I felt so relaxed knowing that she was handling everything. She also went above and beyond and helped with my bustle which we struggled with, and ALWAYS checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything and had a fresh drink in our hands. With a variety of packages offered, A Summer's Day was hired as our day-of coordinator, she contacted all the vendors a week prior to our big day, and created timelines for our family, the bridal party, as well as a master copy. She ask all the right question, checks every block, and keeps you from externally becoming a bridezilla. Kyra from A Summers day really feels like a part of the family and was so helpful the days leading up to our wedding as well as making sure everything was handled the day of. Having her as our wedding coordinator allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest. I cannot recommend a better company to assist you on your big day. Kyra is precise, organized, and so creative! I enjoyed working with her as another wedding vendor and love how she made the wedding vision come to life. I was a bride that thought I didn't need a coordinator, but I heard enough people say what a help they were and I decided to at least have a conversation. I found Kyra through a google search and from our first meeting, I was seriously blown away! Kyra was so detailed and on top of it that a friend in the room with me decided to book her too! She went through the final venue walk through with me, helped reach out to all vendors with a final timeline, created helpful google docs with different timeline views for vendors and family, and made sure everything went perfectly on the big day. She was waiting at the venue for the girls and boys to arrive, directed all the vendors when they arrived, and corralled all family to one place for family pictures. Kyra and her team helped set up for the ceremony and then a full room flip for the reception! It was wonderful to have Kyra with me before ceremony start and she made sure the dress and veil were perfect. She managed the timeline and made sure everyone was on the same page as far as what should come next. Tiny problems and questions never even reached me because Kyra took care of everything!! She even packaged up as much as she could before she left at the end of the night to help with load out. It was amazing to have Kyra on our vendor team and I was so thankful for her! I would recommend her to anyone in the KC area in a heartbeat. You need her for your big day!!!!!

Working with Kyra was truly a DREAM. I cannot recommend her enough! Our big day would not have been possible without Kyra and her assistant. From start to finish, we loved every second of working with Kyra. She is extremely organized, knowledgeable and professional - in addition to being kind, fun and truly caring about her couples. Kyra was an amazing day of coordinator! She was there to make sure my day went seamlessly and was SO helpful in set up and tear down. Kyra was one of the main reasons that our wedding day went off without a hitch! She was professional, prompt, kind, and very prepared! I was most impressed with her willingness to contact all of our vendors the week leading up to the wedding as this saved me and my husband a lot of headache and allowed us to focus on last minute details for our big day. She also collaborated with us to create a day-of itinerary that helped the wedding party, our parents, and our vendors arrive timely and know the plan for the day. A Summers' Day was the glue to every detail of our wedding! We know that our wedding would not have been as smooth, punctual and as stress-free as it was without A Summers' Day. My wedding was on March 6, 2021- right in the middle of constantly changing COVID rules. I was a complete mess; I was hoping my day would be all that I envisioned and Kyra made sure that happened. She went above and BEYOND, calling the Mayor's office, in constant contact with my mother, and doing everything in her power to make sure my day was perfect. When I was thinking of back up plans, Kyra was flexible and on board with all of my back up plans. I can honestly say that my wedding day would not have gone as smoothly or as perfectly if it wasn't for Kyra and her team. She made sure every single detail was in place and I did not have to worry the entire day because I knew that she had it handled. From our initial meeting, to text messages and phone calls, to the wedding rehearsal , to the actual day of the wedding, Kyra pulled everything off without a hitch. She was timely, organized, kind, and thoughtful of the details I had not thought of yet. Out of every vendor I had hired for my wedding day, Kyra was the best. I COULD NOT recommend someone more. She was in constant contact with all 10 of my vendors, even those who lived out of state, and went way above and beyond her duties as a wedding planner. The whole day went by smoothly and there were no problems, which I feel is pretty unordinary for a wedding day starting at 7 AM and ending at 11 PM. Thank you Kyra for everything that you did to make my day amazing! It would not have been near as perfect if it wasn't for you!

Kyra was not only a pleasure to work with but she was on top of everything from the initial meeting to the last call at the reception. We hired her for day of coordination and once we signed a contract with her she was checking in and doing follow up calls. Our walk through was a breeze with her there making sure that our vision was coming through and our requests were met. Honestly, the day of wouldn't have been the same without her. She was the calm that we needed to make sure everything went smoothly. She met with all the vendors at the space and set everything up so we could enjoy our day with our family and friends. She not only set up the ceremony but she also did a room flip for the reception. Directing and setting up all the floral arrangements, cake table, gift table, etc. When we walked in everything was perfect, even the small details we had discussed once were perfection. She took our vision and made it come to life. She also made sure we stayed on schedule and checked in to make sure we were doing good throughout the evening. Random things I didn't know I would need the day of she had ready for me after one request. Lastly, she packed up everything we brought into the venue and labeled everything so we didn't have to worry about it at the end of the night. I am so glad we decided to use her, our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her, we can't thank her enough!

Kyra was an absolute joy to work with! As mother of the groom, my planning duties were minimal but I loved how organized she was. The week before the big day, we received a detailed print out of all the contact info we needed- vendors, wedding participants, etc. along with an hour by hour itinerary. She navigated that delicate balance of asking the right questions, keeping things moving forward and not stepping on anyone's toes. And I never felt like I was bothering her with my minor questions on the big day. Thank you Kyra for making my son's wedding worry-free!!

I am so glad I had Kyra with A Summers' Day Events to help me through the whole wedding thing and I couldn’t have done it without her. I had her for the on the day coordination which meant we didn’t have to worry about a single organizational detail on the day of our wedding. Kyra was a tremendous help in organizing all the small details in the lead up to the wedding, from arranging visits and providing suggestions, to creating an itinerary and keeping in contact with our vendors. The day started off a little rough due to some uncontrollable circumstances but Kyra was able to solve the issue with a quickness like nothing ever happened! Not only is she extremely professional but also one of the few organizers who would fit into our budget. Kyra and her assistant was warm, approachable, and efficient and always had smiles on their faces. Kyra has a great energy and a genuine love of what she does, even our suppliers commented on how wonderful both Kyra and her assistant was to work with.
