One of the biggest worries I had for the day of my wedding, and frankly planning, was what happens if something "goes wrong". The answer: Mary. Mary was/is the best investment I made for my wedding and I would hire her to plan my life if she would do it! She asks thoughtful questions leading up to the big day, she gives clear "homework" to ensure that she has everything she needs so she can leave you alone as much as possible, and she handles every bump in the road that came her way. For example, my Photo Booth was 2 hours late to setting up, and I had no idea until walking into the reception area for a sneak peek. Mary had already thought of plan A,B, C and D and didn't give me any reason to worry it wouldn't be handled. That is truly how professional, prepared and wonderful Mary is. If you need help for wedding planning or a day of coordinator, HIRE MARY!
I can’t say enough great things about Mary!! She was accommodating, fun, understanding, friendly and welcoming to everyone in our wedding party and most importantly made my husband and I feel like nothing could go wrong and no ask was too big. Mary is a true professional and very communicative. I would recommend Mary to every couple getting married, she was a huge part of our perfect day!!
Where to start? Mary is awesome, and my husband’s and my wedding was absolutely wonderful in very large part thanks to her and her efforts. We hired her upon being overwhelmed by the countless moving parts constant throughout the wedding industry (as well as concerns surrounding being taken advantage of by unscrupulous vendors, as we’d heard horror stories surrounding some vendors understanding that they’re dealing with a couple that has no idea what to expect monetarily and plan-wise and unfortunately taking advantage in the form of price gouging or however else), and Mary was a tremendous help in granting us professional knowledge from what we could expect to encounter and with etiquette, as well as generally being an organized, professional, friendly presence. (:
Not to mention all the helpful guides and informational sheets we were provided with throughout the process - from lists of recommended, tried-and-true vendors, to a list of common wedding day photo ops. and poses for us to pass along to our photographer upon choosing those we wanted from the list, to a toasting guide to pass along to guests who were set to make speeches, etc.
I’d absolutely recommend looking into Mary’s services. Again, with a large motivator for us being to not get screwed on pricing or elsewhere by having an in-field professional sharing industry knowledge with and advocating for you (and when we had an issue arise, Mary Did advocate for us!). Thank you again, Mary; we still have many friends yet to wed, and when the time comes we’ll pass your info. along. (: Until we meet again!
Absolutely amazing service!! Mary is so dedicated to what she does and pays incredible attention to detail. She responded immediately to any questions we had by email and called whenever we needed anything. My mom was the primary point person for planning my wedding, and she was not in Texas. Mary made it so easy for my mom to host the wedding in Texas! On the day of, Mary was so attentive to every detail, had all the vendors in order, had the seating chart perfect, ran the rehearsal flawlessly, and never failed to have a smile on. We cannot recommend her more!
Mary and her team were absolutely amazing! So organized and allowed us to enjoy our day while making sure everything went off without a hitch. Mary was so accessible throughout the entire planning process and just a joy to be around! Our wedding day would not have been the same without the ATE team!
Mary was and her company were absolutely amazing! Mary is so organized and definitely helped me keep my head straight when wedding planning brain kicked in. She has wonderful contacts and communicates with vendors excellently. There were even little venue issues she immediately addressed on wedding day and made sure I (the Bride) didn't even know about them at all! She made sure everything rand smoothly and it was a perfect day. 100% recommend!
I wish I could give 6 stars because Mary went above and BEYOND!! As soon as my now husband and I got engaged we mutually decided that a full time planner was needed. As I was searching different planners and looking at their photos on the knot, I noticed someone I grew up with in one of the photos. After getting a great review we decided pull the trigger and man are we happy that we did! Mary is energetic but also very organized and was so helpful to us. She would help brainstorm different ways to try to stay in budget/help introduce us to vendors within our budget. We had a "big picture" idea of what we envisioned for the wedding that she helped bring to life. She also was very helpful and made sure we didn't forget any small details either! The day of the wedding she took care of everything so that my husband and I could really just enjoy our day. She even had it arranged that our wedding items were already packed up in our room by the end of the night. My husband and I still comment on how flawless the whole evening went and it is all thanks to Mary. We would 100% be lost without her and cannot recommend her enough to anyone else getting married!!
I found A Toast Events on instagram after coming to the conclusion a month of coordinator was needed. My initial call with Mary was wonderful. I knew from the moment I hopped on that Zoom call this company was different. I appreciated them taking the time to actually meet me (virtually) I had spoke over the phone with about 5 other companies at this point. A Toast Events set themselves apart from the rest. The energy on the call was exactly what I needed. Mary took care of all the little details on our wedding day. Things I didn't even think about! Having Mary that month of was a GODSEND. I became so busy with work and Mary made sure all the vendor contracts were to our venue, she handled their timelines and helped us with ours for day of. The day of the wedding Mary went above and beyond. She made sure people were where they were supposed to be. She did it all with a smile on her face! She helped keep us on track and made the wedding such an enjoyable and memorable experience for us! I highly recommend A Toast Events.
We LOVE LOVE LOVED working with these people! They lifted so many weights off of our shoulders and helped make our day so smooth! Liesel came in and worked so well with our kiddo chaos (13 IN the wedding!) and they lovedl her! It was the biggest blessing to have Mary as our wedding planner! Throughout the six months of planning, Mary helped bring life and a sense of direction to the vision we had for our big day. Mary and Lisa did the absolute best job at our wedding. Throughout the process leading up they were attentive in answering all of our text messages and helped in giving new ideas. We had multiple zooms leading up to the wedding which was refreshing knowing they were going to be so involved. On the day of they handled so much for us. They were going above and beyond to make sure our day was special. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is getting married. They are the best!

Mary & Angela were flat awesome to work with from beginning to end! They helped us every step of the way and went the extra mile to accommodate our schedules since we were out of town. I interviewed 10+ wedding planners and Mary & Angela were the ones that I got most excited to work with on my wedding day. Immediately, our personalities matched and I knew I had to hire them to help me plan my dream wedding. They helped me through every step of the way. Hiring my vendors, scheduling rentals, creating the wedding day timeline, coordinating all the vendors, and so much more! They also helped me and my mother-in-law plan the rehearsal dinner by going to look at different venues for us (since we weren't able to ourselves) and helped to book the room blocks for our guests. Seriously, they helped relieve so much of the stress that comes with planning a wedding, and on the day of, I didn't have any stress because I knew that they understood my vision and I trusted them to execute it for me and it turned out so perfect!
These ladies are the best! I didn’t have any family in town to help with my wedding, and Mary and Angela were there for me with great advice, planning help, close communication. They were rock stars the day of our wedding, making sure the event ran on time and stayed organized. I talked to so many wedding coordinators and honestly had a hard time finding a good fit for us but with Mary and Angela, it felt effortless! There are WAY too many details that go into a wedding, especially on the big day, to go without professional help and Mary and Angela are those professionals! They work so hard and make a great team. They will make your wedding day dreams come true.
Working with Mary & Angela, I cannot say enough amazing things. It was pouring rain on my wedding day, but they never showed any signs of stress or worry. They both handled everything so calmly. Both were on time and were so patient dealing with my crazy mexican family. The planning process went smoothly and they were always quick to respond to any emails and calls. They did an amazing job reaching out to all of the other vendors and making my day one to remember!
I had the pleasure to with Mary & Angela at a wedding a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. It can always be a bit stressful working with new wedding vendors, but they were so great from the very start. We had a great work flow relationship. They were very kind and down to earth but extremely professional at the same time. They had great communication with me leading up to the wedding. I hope I get to work with them again in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about Mary and Angela. They were absolutely AMAZING as my coordinators. They made every decision easy, every meeting breezy, and they worked so stinking hard to make my wedding everything I could have ever imagined and more. Mary and Angela could not have been more of a God send. They were more than just wedding planners, they were awesome friends who guided me through the wedding planning process. Wedding planning can be stressful and tiring. There were so many things to check off the list, so many expenses to be mindful of, and yet, it’s a time that should be enjoyed! I can honestly say that because of Mary and Angela, we loved and enjoyed our entire wedding season. From the beginning, they made me feel at ease. They knew what questions to ask, they cared about what we envisioned for our day, and they worked hard throughout the entire process to give us our dream day.
One thing that I was worried about from the beginning was our budget. It can be so easy to overspend or lose track of the money you’ve spent in the planning process. Mary and Angela carefully crafted a budget and because of this, we ended up underspending! They worked so diligently to make this happen.
One thing I am so glad I didn’t compromise on were my wedding planners. Their role is crucial in the planning process and on the wedding day itself. Mary and Angela worked so hard to give us our dream day. On top of planning, they deeply cared about helping us transition into marriage and they became our biggest cheerleaders. I cannot recommend them enough!!
Angela and Mary are truly the power duo you need for your wedding! They make sure to listen and tailor their services to how like you to be treated and how you want your wedding to be! They will quite literally drive to pick up new grooms shoes when the rented ones break, pump you up when your tired of all the photos, and handle every little detail along the way!

Wow! I was shopping around for planners and coordinators and wasn’t looking at reviews at all. I found A Toast in the process and just signed up since I felt like I was running out of time. My brother had a different planner and in the process we were always checking in on how the wedding planning process was going. Mary and Angela made things so easy and stress free. My brother was regretting his decision every time I would ask if his planner was helping alleviate the stress around the wedding and planning (if it wasn’t clear, he had one planner, like singular, unlike A Toast having two for the price of one). Mary and Angela made the day absolutely incredible and like nothing I ever expected. They came prepared, even when we weren’t. They were so professional and communicative throughout the process. The day of was seamless and A Toast is the reason for that.
I hired Mary and Angela as Day of Coordinators for my daughter’s wedding earlier this summer, so I could enjoy the day too. They were both great to work with and complement each other as a team. They were conscientious about details, offered suggestions when appropriate, and listened to our wishes and reasons for prior decisions. They were the perfect mix of ideas and respect for what we had already planned. Best of all, their presence on the wedding day, made my wish of enjoying the day come true. If I had another daughter, I’d hire them again!
