We had the great pleasure of having Cinthy Walsh with Touch of Grace as our Wedding Planner. As two busy physicians (one still in residency) we knew we weren’t going to have the time and energy to do this alone. Cinthy was great at giving us a frame work and structure for how to plan our wedding. She was nice and personable from our first meeting and helped us create our dream wedding. As a gay couple we were hoping to have someone who would help us create an unconventional wedding and she delivered.
She helped us to create a budget and gave us recommendations for vendors. The venue was probably that hardest to pick and she gave us great suggestion. We would give feedback on the places we toured and she would use that feedback to make suggestions on the next places we toured. We ended up picking a venue that we toured on our first day (CornerStone Gardens in Sonoma, CA) likely because she did such great job feeling us out understanding our vision.
Throughout the wedding process she made sure that we stayed on track by sending frequent reminders and having lots of phone calls. We had lots of unique and personal requests and she was able to make it happen. She allowed us to have items shipped to her home so that we wouldn’t have to worry about them the day of the wedding.
The day of the wedding she helped make everything perfect so that we could focus on each other and our guest. If you’re looking for someone to help you plan your wedding you’re in great hands with A Touch of Grace!
My husband and I didn't think we needed a coordinator, but after giving it some thought and the amount of money and effort we were already putting in to our wedding, the relatively slight added expense of someone to run the day and be there to solve problems seemed worth it--and now that the event is behind us I can't imagine having done it without A Touch Of Grace and Cinthy. She gave great advice when asked but otherwise followed our lead, helped facilitate communication between our vendors and ourselves, and really made sure the whole day went as flawlessly as possible. Hiring her was worth every cent that we paid.
Cinthy Walsh with A Touch of Grace Wedding Planning is one of the absolute best in the wedding planning business. My wife and I booked her to come in approximately two months out to take over our wedding needs. She definitely did more than two months of work. Cinthy responded to every single one of our emails, texts, and phone calls almost immediately and gave her undivided attention to us for all our wedding needs. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure our wedding was the perfect day. There were times when we told Cinthy we needed help with something or to reach out to a vendor and she did so without us even having to question her or remind her. Her experience in the wedding industry does not compare to anyone else's and she was always one step ahead of us in regards to what we needed to accomplish. If you want a dedicated planner that will make sure all your wants and needs are met, you need to hire Cinthy with A Touch of Grace Wedding Planning.
Cinthy was hired to help with my sister's wedding in 2016 and she was so great I hired her for mine! All our vendors commented about how organized Cinthy was, she made sure everyone we hired knew exactly what to expect the day of the wedding. She also helped when the mariachi band we hired was a no show. She made sure the DJ was informed and played during the time the mariachis would have I couldn't recommend Touch of Grace more!
Cinthy was our wedding coordinator and our hero. She was beside us every step of the way offering us recommendations for vendors and ideas for the layout of our backyard event. She helped formulate our timeline and lead our rehearsal of the ceremony ensuring everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when. When the big day came, she managed all of the curve balls that were thrown her way (and, there were a few...) including out-of-service-lavatories, unprepared bartenders, bridesmaid wardrobe malfunctions and one crazy DJ. Despite all this, she managed with apparent ease and made sure that the stress wasn't on us as the bride & groom. Big shout out to her assistant as well who did plenty of heavy lifting (both literally and metaphorically). I was so impressed at how fast and efficient they were at rearranging the tables / chairs between the ceremony and reception and then cleaning up at the end of the night.
I could not have enjoyed my wedding half as much as I did if it weren't for Cinthy and A Touch of Grace.
Malia was our planner/coordinator this past weekend and we can't say enough how above and beyond she went for us every step of the way. We had an insane number of vendors to keep track of and manage and Malia made sure that everyone was on the same page and that everything was set up and executed exactly how we wanted! Malia checked in frequently, and kept us on track from the second we booked with A Touch of Grace. I honestly can't sing her praises enough because she was seriously like superwoman this last weekend, she was working so hard all weekend and made us feel so at ease and relaxed - we were not stressed at all our wedding weekend because we knew it would all work perfectly with Malia in charge. She is so thoughtful, caring and feels like family to us! Our wedding weekend would not have been the possible without her. If you're looking for a planner - BOOK MALIA ASAP!
Cinthy and her team at A Touch of Grace are amazing, so easy and fun to work with! We hired Cinthy all the way back in 2019 when we thought our wedding was going to be in May 2020...obviously with COVID that didn't happen, and she was so great with helping us through multiple postponements. Leading up to the actual day, Cinthy helped us out with every little detail, and happily and quickly answered the many many questions we had about the process. She's so incredibly organized, efficient, and does everything with this great positive attitude and a huge smile! We finally got to have our wedding last weekend, and it went more smoothly than I could have possibly imagined! Cinthy and Celinie were there to support us the whole time, made sure everything was on schedule, ensured we had some drinks and apps after we finished our cocktail hour photos, and gathered up all of our things so when we were ready to go at the end of the night, the car was already packed and ready! They go totally above and beyond - if you're considering hiring them, stop thinking about it and absolutely do it!!
Cinthy was the absolute BEST wedding planner possible. She was meticulous, positive, and extremely caring. She worked with me, my husband, and both of our mothers to plan a 3- day fusion Indian and American wedding. Her hard work and compassion continued through the 1.5 year planning process. We couldn't have been happier with the wedding and everything she did for us. She answered all messages quickly, and she provided us with multiple vendor recommendations for every aspect of the wedding. 100% recommend.
Cinthy was great! We wouldn't have known where to start without her, she was with us every step of the way. Her recommendations on vendors (everything from venue to caterer to photographer) were really on point and amazing and I felt like we got great value for our money.
Throughout the entire process she kept us on track with a schedule. She answered all our emails in a very timely manner and was able to chat via phone or in person when we needed.
On the day of the wedding she kept everything running smoothly and kept us (and our wedding party... and our parents...) from having to worry about anything. We are so happy that we hired her and I would 100% recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the Bay Area.
We hired A Touch of Grace for day of coordination. They went above and beyond just that, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. We worked with Cinthy, she was organized, thorough, and always available and willing to help us with our needs. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, A Touch of Grace was behind the scenes the entire time keeping things moving. Never did we have to worry about anything thanks to Cinthy and her team! Thank you thank you, our wedding day truly was the best day of our lives!!
Cinthy Walsh was the most incredible wedding planner EVER! She always had a smile on her face. One of her favorite sayings was " No problem." She was pro active & worked soooo hard. Nothing fell through the cracks. I would give her a 10 star if possible.
We were so lucky to have had her.!!!!
A couple months before my wedding, I decided to hire a day of coordinator to help run things at the venue. I am planner and have a type A personality, so the thought of giving someone else control over my special day that I had worked for a year to plan was frightening. I contacted A Touch of Grace and had a phone meeting with Amanda Tonkin for the Wrap Up Service. Just speaking with her for the initial call set aside many of my worries. She was easy to talk to, informative, professional, and sounded like she knew her stuff. I had spoken to a couple other coordinators prior to her and none of them compared. Not once did she make me feel like I didn't know anything or force any decisions on me.
In the time before the wedding, I met with Amanda in person a couple of times and talked on the phone a couple of times. She was great at looking at all of my plans and adding in her recommendations for things I didn't think of (aka extension cords?!). I was also able to meet up with her and drop of some decorations that she drove to the venue and set up for me.
I truly cannot thank Amanda and her team enough for the wonderful job they did on my wedding day. I had a lot of DIY items, but the team was able to look at the pictures I sent and set up a fabulous head table, back drop, and set up everything else I had made. Not only did they set up, during the dancing time the team also broke everything down. By the time the wedding ended, most of our stuff had been boxed and set aside, ready to be taken away.
I had a lot scheduled for my wedding day and Amanda really helped make sure everything went smoothly. The family portraits after the ceremony were quick (I also told family members that if they missed their call, they missed the picture...), the intros and dances went smoothly, and I got all of my table photos done in under an hour. Amanda's team got each table ready for their pictures before we even got to the table, so we did 25 tables in about 45 minutes! Amanda was also good at making sure we were able to eat during our allotted time. She had to start turning people who approached our table around because I kept talking and not eating.
THANK YOU again to Amanda. She was truly amazing and I'm so glad she was the one helping me on my wedding day.
We are so thankful to A Touch of Grace for connecting us with Amanda! We were looking for a partial wedding coordinator who could also help us bring to life our ideas for decor. Amanda was the perfect fit. We hired her for the three month coordination services and added on her design option. We wanted a Disney inspired wedding, something that had hints of Disney without being overwhelming or cheesy. Amanda is a fellow Disney lover so she was a perfect fit for us. She took what I imagined in my head and made it even better and then made it into a reality. She also helped us with finding other vendors and was always there for us whenever we had questions about anything. The day of the wedding there were very minimal hiccups and the things that did “go wrong” were taken care of immediately thanks to Amanda and her team. I couldn’t have imagine doing this whole process without her she kept me sane and from becoming a bridezilla (I hope). So glad that she was the person to help us throughout our entire process!
When deciding on a wedding planner, we were torn between several choices, one of them being A Touch of Grace. After our initial phone meeting with Amanda, however, my husband and I knew immediately that Amanda was the perfect choice for us.
During the whole wedding planning process, Amanda was beyond helpful. She not only gave us recommendations on vendors, but was also very calming and uplifting. Whenever I had a question or concern, she either already had the matter taken care of, or would present many solutions for us to choose from. She helped with all aspects of our special day: lighting, table linens, timelines, layout, vendor management; anything and everything you can think of.
Come the day of our wedding, May 12, Amanda was everything I hoped for and more. She was exceptionally organized, always attentive and aware of situations, any hiccups that occurred, Amanda was there ready to alleviate and take care of. One example was my pastor arriving several minutes late to the ceremony, nowhere to be found; however, Amanda became a calming force in a stressful situation, assuring us she was in contact with him, that he was on his way and actively managing the schedule, adapting to the late start confidently and efficiently. This was because she had the experience and foresight to have planned for buffer time throughout the schedule, anticipating possible delays. Luckily my pastor arrived sooner than later, and the procession began smoothly.
Once the event started, Amanda and her team made sure my husband and I would have a drink or something to eat whenever we had a break. She was also able to give us private time to preview our reception space, something I wanted us to have. I mean, after all that planning wouldn't you want to take a moment aside to see and appreciate all of your dreams and hard work first?
I could not imagine a more perfect wedding for my husband and I, and we owe it all to Amanda. She holds a special place in our hearts, and I can honestly call her a good friend after going through this process with her. She was amazing through and through. If you go with A Touch of Grace, Amanda is your girl, trust me you won't regret it!
Amanda was absolutely fantastic! I am a total control freak and I am very detail oriented so handing the reins over to someone else to plan and direct our big day was a huge deal for me. Amanda was always ahead of my game and thought of every detail and then some! She has a fantastic crew of helpers for day-of logistics and setup. Amanda also handled our extremely rowdy groomsmen party with grace and ensured they had all their marbles together during rehearsal (which was some sort of miracle with these fellas). She was extremely friendly and very communicative throughout our time together and we are so thankful for everything she did for us! We wouldn’t have made it through flawlessly without her! She was easily the best investment for our wedding!
ATOG is just wonderful! Amanda was an amazing coordinator and made planning for my wedding seamless. She is such a caring individual and will go to every length to help put on the wedding of your dreams. Highly recommend!
I can't say enough good things about Cinthy! She was with us every step of the way. Very very very responsive to all of my e-mails and questions!! She helped us with every aspect of the planning from the design to the execution. We had a particularly complicated wedding since we were doing two separate ceremonies and receptions (Indian and Western) so there was a lot to plan. I would recommend Cinthy without reservation. She is the best!
My mother and I had a wonderful experience working with Cinthy Walsh while planning my Napa Valley wedding from across the country (DC and CT). She kept us on track with a few manageable tasks each week during a process that can often seem overwhelming. She also has a network of wonderful vendors whom we leveraged to create our special day. Throughout the planning process I shipped numerous items to her which she received and brought to our venue the day of, which relieved quite a bit of stress. Overall the event went off flawlessly (at least from my perspective, which was the point!) with minimal effort from me the day of. I would highly recommend working with A Touch of Grace.
Where to even start- I guess first, if you are reading this and planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and hire Cinthy. Wedding planning for my husband and I was an interesting one, as we had an original venue booked that sold the property and had to rearrange everything in six months. The best decision we made was working with Cinthy. We selected the wrap up package, but Cinthy went so above and beyond what the package calls for. From the moment we started working together, Cinthy was prompt to answer emails, professional, and helpful. She provided excellent vendor recommendations and was always on top of every detail. My favorite thing about Cinthy, is that she always has her couple's backs and she will do her best to make sure your voice is heard to everyone in the planning process. Our wedding was amazing this past weekend and we feel so lucky to have been able to work with Cinthy.
This review is long overdue. I worked with Cinthy, one of the wedding coordinators for well over a year. I knew I would need help planning a large wedding from far away. I interviewed several coordinators, but ultimately went with A Touch of Grace because of Cinthy's no nonsense attitude and professionalism. Cinthy is excellent with communication and very quick with responses. She kept me on top of the wedding planning timeline, is super detailed, and would check-in with me when I would go missing aka avoiding wedding planning. She broke down the to-do list into manageable portions so I wouldn't get overwhelmed and offered excellent vendor recommendations for DJ and cake, which is hard because my husband and I don't like sweet desserts and we wanted special flavors. She offered her honest opinions on things and let me know where we could cut down on expenses, which I really appreciated. Best of all, she dealt with all the nitty gritty stuff I didn't want to deal. Cinthy and the ATOG team helped execute our very long (5AM to midnight) and complicated (5 different locations) wedding day with over 350 guests, and if anything went wrong on day of, I wouldn't know since I was blissfully kept out of it =) Thanks again for everything!
I had a terrible experience working with Cinthy from A touch of Grace. Your wedding planner is supposed to take the stress out of wedding planning and make your life easier, right? Yup, that is what I thought too. But this was not the case with Cinthy. I am not the type of person to get stressed out- I am very level-headed, but working with Cinthy made me stressed and overwhelmed. I would say I wanted things one way, and she would do THE EXACT OPPOSITE. At first, I thought maybe it was me- things kept going wrong, so I felt I had to reflect and make sure I was being clear. At that point, I sent all of my correspondence with Cinthy to friends and family members who were helping and they confirmed it was not me, it was indeed Cinthy. And, to top it off, once she started to included other vendors, they would call me asking for clarification because what Cinthy was sending them did not make sense at all (Ramekins, who was great, could not figure out why she had the floor plan the way she did- it was not as we discussed. The Photographer (KREATE- AMAZING!) said the timeline was completely off. and the list goes on.) We even had our officiant and the company doing our dessert complain directly about her to us. I would NOT recommend you work with this company, especially if they assign you Cinthy as your planner. Our wedding did come together the day of, but that was due completely to our other vendors and my bridesmaids stepping up to the plate to get shit done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I hate writing negative reviews. But, my wife and I feel like we shouldn't subject anyone else to this level of incompetence.
At first, as a soon-to-be-husband, I thought my fiancé might be being a bit harsh. It's a stressful time and people can get a bit overzealous. That was until I started to deal with Cinthy and Touch of Grace.
I won't detail ALL of the mistakes, misunderstandings and blunderings that ensued over the course of planning.
But, just a sliver of the possible examples, we had fourteen members in our bridal party....she sent us a schedule with four people. After walkthrough, she sent us a schematic that was entirely off: Incorrect placement of tables, wedding party and alter. The coupe de grace??? She sent the DJ off for dinner right before we needed music, microphones, etc. No kidding she told the DJ to take his break at the exact opposite time than any lucid adult would do.
Let's suffice to say that Cinthy added lots more stress to the planning than necessary. Ultimately, my wife instructed her to only send information to her mother. My bride then did the only thing possible, she planned everything herself (with the help of her mother and our friends).
We complained to Cinthy many times. We asked her very nicely to pay better attention, communicate better and listen to our direction. They did provide another planner the day of, her name was Amanda. And, she was helpful and capable.
One last tidbit, we asked for at least some our money back as Touch of Grace essentially charged us to plan our own wedding. Touch of Grace asked us to please privately tell them about what we didn't like. But, that we would receive no refunds. I'm not entirely sure how they have good reviews.
Touch of Grace couldn't pay me enough to not tell others about how miserable they were in the process. We had an amazing wedding, really one of the supreme highlights in my lifetime, despite these incompetents.
As a wedding photographer, I have had my fair share of working with all type of vendors. From hair and make up artists to florists to Djs to photobooth vendors. One person that really stands out for us is Cinthy from A touch of Grace. She is just so amazing and does her job with such grace. Every single wedding that we have shot with her, she have gone far and beyond for her clients, guests, and vendors. When someone fulfill their job title, that is great but when they go beyond their job duties and is great at it - that is someone you will want by your side working your wedding!
My now husband and I worked with Cinthy and it was amazing. We were compressing our planning into 6 months and knew we needed serious help. We decided to do the whole planning package, which comes with complete wedding coordination. If you have visited wedding vendor sites you know that there are pretty much 5 billion options for everything. Cinthy worked to understand our vision and feel for our perfect day, and took that 5 billion list and made it into a manageable number for us to research. Each vendor we worked with was not only professionally excellent, but "got" who we were and just matched our personality. That was because of Cinthy. The final 3 weeks before our wedding felt super stressful and crazy because we both were working full time until 2 days before the wedding (and its possible my wedding dress only arrived two weeks before the wedding), but Cinthy handled and took care of everything from vendors. I can only imagine if I had too coordinate vendors and all of those logistics I would have lost my mind. And suddenly, once we were on-site, my stress just melted away. Cinthy took care of everything, and I was able to be fully present. It was an incredible day, and I know that a lot went into that behind the scenes that I never saw, and I owe all of that to Cinthy. If you are on the fence about whether you need a wedding coordinator, the answer is "yes." And you should also work with A Touch of Grace. It is probably the single best wedding gift you will give yourself.
Cinthy is absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend her! Throughout the entire planning process, she was always responsive to us and available to help. She is well organized, knowledgeable, has incredible attention to detail and truly committed to her clients. When we first met her, we knew she would protect us, and that remained true through our wedding day. The day of our wedding, she and her team executed our vision, and went above and beyond. She made sure every detail was as we wanted, and also took care of those details and logistics we hadn't even thought of. We also know she handled issues that popped up that day and never involved us unless absolutely necessary. We felt completely calm the entire day and know a large part of that was the comfort of having Cinthy and her team there.
We hired A Touch of Grace planner Cinthy Walsh for full planning for our wedding on September 9th. She not only delivered on what we agreed on but went above and beyond to create an amazing wedding for us. She was incredibly responsive and helpful during the vendor selection process and answered all of my questions no matter how silly they were. She regularly sent emails full of tips on everything from etiquette to payment schedules as we got closer to the date. I'm an incredibly detail oriented, list making, information gathering type of person so I felt very comfortable in her capable hands.
Our wedding was even better than I could have imagined and I know it's because she was managing everything. She's very straightforward about everything and very creative and thoughtful and included little touches in our wedding that I never thought of (flip flops for dancing!). I can't even begin to imagine what our wedding would have been like without her. Thank you Cinthy and your team for everything!
We hired Cinthy to help us plan our wedding (in 3 months) and handle day-of coordination. Cinthy was such a help in the planning process, both in terms of coordinating and sharing the wealth of knowledge she has about wine country weddings. She helped steer us toward the right vendors for our needs and kept us on-task through the entire planning process. One of the best things about having Cinthy on your team is that she will give you honest, no-nonsense advice that comes from years of experience in the wedding industry. Having someone whose judgment you can trust is so important when planning a wedding! Cinthy was a joy to work with throughout the planning process, as was every vendor she recommended to us. Thank you Cinthy!
Best decision made was hiring Cinthy! She worked with us to plan the wedding in the way we needed her. Cinthy is professional, practical, super responsive and resourceful. More importantly, she is kind, funny, calm and someone you like being around. It's very fitting that her company is named "A Touch of Grace" - Cinthy has a TON of Grace! On the wedding day, she and her team made everything happen seamlessly. We were able to enjoy the amazing day - knowing all was being handled! That was awesome! Friends suggested hiring a "wedding coordinator". Did not think it was necessary but took their advise. I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!
Having compared notes with others regarding their experiences and observing many other coordinators, I would say Cinthy is at the top of the list! You will be very, very pleased to have her help you!
A Touch of Grace really knows how to get the wedding done! Our consultant, Cinthy, was priceless! She helped every time we asked. Even last minute requests, she got it done. She's the best!
I was planning two weddings in one day - a traditional Hindu ceremony and a western ceremony - and I quickly realized I needed help. I contacted a number of wedding planners and Cinthy at A Touch of Grace spent the most time with me upfront understanding what I needed and was looking for. Her rates are also incredibly reasonable. Going with her was one of the best decisions I made. You can tell Cinthy has done this before, and even though she doesn't "specialize" in multicultural weddings she was so knowledgable about what was needed for a Hindu ceremony - including who to hire for the Mehndi ceremony, baaraat, DJ, etc. We didn't hire her to help with the Sangeet the day before but Cinthy ended up making recommendations for venues, catering, rentals - she even helped with setup Friday evening. She just went above and beyond to make sure the day was smooth and as unstressful as possible. Cinthy was also excellent at a working with a lot of different personalities (my Fiance and I didn't have strong opinions on a lot of things and Cinthy helped nudge us towards a decision when we were clueless, my in laws have opinions about a lot of things and Cinthy was always patient and accommodating, no matter what). She was organized, responsive, helpful and just a pleasure to work with for the entire 7 months - I highly recommend her!
I cannot say enough good things about Cinthy and her team. Simply put, she made our wedding.
When we began the planning process, we weren't sure we even wanted/needed a wedding planner. I'm a very neurotic person who fancies herself great at planning. I make a spreadsheet for almost everything in my life and plan everything. Cinthy was still 100% necessary.
We opted for the wrap-around service that starts a couple months before the wedding. Even though we didn't get the full-service package, Cinthy was always available and kept track of all our vendors.
Heading into the wedding was a breeze with Cinthy. Cinthy kept track of all the details, kept me calm and on track. Cinthy was not only keeping track of all the details flying around, she was a great sounding board. One of the big disadvantages of weddings is that you really don't have much context for what's normal and when a vendor is taking advantage of you. Cinthy is that back-up that every bride needs.
Cinthy proved her worth time and time again leading up to the wedding but I was blown away by her dedication, patience, and just plain magic on the wedding day. Starting with her disposition, she was flawless. She was firm with vendors but calming with me. I'm sure I did a million annoying inconsiderate things on the wedding day, but Cinthy was always patient with me and made me feel fantastic.
Her ability to deal with curveballs was unparalleled as well. The morning of the wedding someone in the bridal party decided he wanted to do a speech and so did my mother in law. Cinthy was able to act like it was no big deal with me, communicate with the vendors, and work it in the reception seamlessly. Not only that, one of the groomsmen decided not to do a speech right before dinner and, again, Cinthy worked it seamlessly with all parties.
One of the most amazing things Cinthy and her team did was handle the photo booth. Our photo booth vendor cancelled at the last minute (the afternoon before or the morning of). Cinthy handled it with such poise that I had no idea they cancelled until she found a replacement. One of Cinthy's best qualities is she intuitively knows what she can take care of and what she should get my input on. The photo booth was a great example of that and I can't express how grateful that Cinthy not only found a replacement, but the way she did it. If all of that wasn't enough, she continued to contact the original photo booth company to negotiate the price difference.
I feel silly continuing to say "perfect" when describing Cinthy, but it really is the most appropriate word. She will be in your corner from day one. She strikes the perfect balance of being a strong advocate and giving you thoughtful advice. I felt that every time I asked her advice she had my interests at heart and was ready to go to battle for me with vendors that were causing issues.
Finally, Cinthy is just great to work with. She's hilarious, sweet, tenacious, and so much more. My husband says that Cinthy's the type of person that you'd want to be friends with after your wedding. My mom continued to say that she never thought a wedding planner was necessary, but when she realized everything Cinthy did she definitely thought of Cinthy as one of the most vital vendors. Not only would I recommend getting a wedding planner, at least for day of, I could not imagine any other choice than Cinthy. Thank you so much for all of your amazing work!
Cinthy was my planner for my wedding in November at The Fairmont in San Jose. We worked together for about 11 months, after 2 months of foolishly attempting to plan a wedding by myself. I can't even call her a planner, she was more like a super hero. Everything that I wanted I was able to text her (sometimes in poor description) and she would send back exactly what I was looking for. She made me think of things I wouldn't have ever realized and most importantly she kept me organized! I would receive updates broken down by section (venue..flowers..photographer..etc) and what was needed to be completed next. And the payments! Oh my, she kept me on time with the payments to vendors with her friendly email reminders. Cinthy made my dream wedding a reality! For logistics, she is also so accessible. I could email her and get a response very quickly, sometimes even minutes after sending! Same goes for text. She is truly a 24/7 super hero planner. Many of my friends are slowly starting to get engaged and when they ask for wedding planning advice I only have one: you NEED Cinthy. You don't JUST need a planner, you need HER. I couldn't imagine planning my wedding without her, and if I had to do it all over again I would do everything exactly the same -- with her.
I have been with my husband since I was 12 years old and he was 15 years old. We ended up getting married in a civil union in 2007 because it was all we could afford at the time. Fast-forward to 2016 and we were finally in a comfortable financial situation where we could FINALLY have the "Dream Wedding" we have been dreaming of since we were kids. That being said, we wanted the day to be as close to perfect as possible and in order to ensure we could get as close to "perfect" as we could, we prayed for just the right Wedding Coordinator. We researched and interviewed. As soon as we met Cinthy from A Touch of Grace, we knew our prayers had been answered.
From the moment we met Cinthy we had a great rapport. We felt so comfortable with her and felt we could trust her with our “Dream Wedding”. We had 2 years to plan the wedding of our dreams and Cinthy was with us every step of the way. I am very detail-oriented, a bit of a control-freak and worry wart; so for me to feel like I can trust someone else with a day I have been waiting for over 20 years is a big deal. That being said, Cinthy was very patient with me and was always able to calm me down whenever I started to freak out. She was also so thoughtful of my husband and included him on everything. This was something my husband really appreciated.
Throughout the 2 years of planning, Cinthy consistently communicated with us about our preferences for small and big details; vendors; changes; invoice reminders, etc. She was always organized, professional, attentive, and most of all, kind and loving. You can see it in her eyes she really cares for her brides and grooms. I have endless messages from Cinthy that were so uplifting and encouraging throughout our planning process, especially when some family drama was happening (what’s a wedding without a little drama, lol).
When it came to the big day, Cinthy and her team were like ninjas. We had a huge wedding party in true Filipino fashion (we had over 50 people in our processional) and for some this would have been a challenge, but not for Cinthy and A Touch of Grace. Everything went so smoothly and beautiful and all of the guests were in awe of how everything came together. They were on top of everything, putting out big and small fires alike (which my husband and I didn’t even know happened until a couple of weeks after the wedding). But despite this, Cinthy remained attentive to me and my husband and so thoughtful of our needs. One of my favorite moments was when Cinthy took me and my husband to the reception area before allowing guests to be taken in. It was breathtaking. It was so perfect and exactly what I envisioned I was brought to tears. Another moment of Cinthy’s thoughtfulness that resonates with me was when my husband I were treated to a delightful surprise at out post-wedding brunch. So Cinthy knew I was on a strict diet prior to the wedding and couldn’t indulge too much right before the ceremony, but she knew I LOVED macarons. Nestled away in one of our floral arrangements at our post –wedding brunch was a box of Cinthy’s homemade macarons just for me and my husband. Oh my! Hands down, the best I have ever had and by the afternoon the box was empty, lol.
We waited so long for this day and we were so blessed to see one of our dreams come true and Cinthy was definitely a blessing from above that helped make it happen.
Cinthy Walsh from A Touch of Grace was a lifesaver in helping us plan a truly amazing wedding. Both my husband and I were busy settling into a new city and new jobs and didn't have much time to dedicate to planning a wedding, but we still had wanted to make sure we had an amazing day celebrating with our friends and family.
We didn't even know the things we had to do and the questions to ask let alone the answers. Cinthy was helpful in selecting and coordinating everything from the biggest items like venue and caterer down to the smallest details. When the wedding day came, everything was perfect! Even after the wedding was over, she worked to ensure we got the right treatment from certain vendors on payments and other final details. Cinthy truly cared that we had an unforgettable and stress free day, and went out of her way to make that happen!
This review will not do Maria enough justice for how absolutely amazing she is!!! Where to start… from the moment I met her she was so sweet, and immediately got to know me. She and I met several times to go over my dreams of a perfect wedding. After she took the time getting to know both who I was and what I was looking for, she began to send me multiple vendor options, all of which I loved. One of the things that I thought was incredible about her was how much she understood my vision and style, which was evident by her vendor selections. She is well planned and very organized and I never had a moment of panic about my vendors or timelines because she had everything under control.
During the last 2-3 months of wedding planning, Maria and I were literally joined at the hips; meeting serval times, having several phone conversations and you can’t even imagine how many emails and texts we sent back and forth. My family was really hesitant to spend money on a full service wedding planner because it is pretty pricey. HOWEVER, my dad and I think that Maria was the best money that we spent on the wedding. I seriously don’t’ know what we would have done without her. No matter what time of the day it was or what she was doing she was always there to help us.
My wedding was EVERYTHING I wanted and more. Everything went smooth and looked amazing. My guests were wowed, and everything was beyond my expectations and more. I feel like I have so many great things to say, but I don’t want to continue to ramble so I will end with this… my wedding is over and while I am so happy to be married I would give anything to have the amazing experience of working with Maria again. Word of advice... you can’t plan a fabulous wedding on your own, contact A Touch of Grace so that you can remain happy, calm, and still engaged while you are planning your wedding.

So I never write online reviews but just had to do one for Halina from Touch of Grace!
Like a lot of couples, we tried and tried to budget and make do without the help of a wedding planner. We already had the venue picked out, dress done, decorations figured out, hair and makeup vendors, etc etc. Why spend extra money on a planner?!?!? However, right about a month before, we were getting really stressed out. I mean we were spending a lot of money already and didn't want the wedding to end up being unorganized and a big disaster - so we reluctantly started looking for a wedding coordinator but you know what? That actually ended up being one of the best decisions we made after all!
Of course being our wedding was in the popular month of September and only a month away, it was proving difficult to find a planner available for our wedding. Again this turned out to be in our favor as we sent an email to A Touch of Grace after several emails to other vendors already saying they were booked.
Well, Halina got in touch with us and said she was available and let me tell you we are so glad we met her! She helped us out with our wedding so much and took a lot of the stress out so we could enjoy our day. It really felt like it was the perfect match. I hope she felt the same about us!
We ended up booking the "Wrap Up Package" since we didn't need full planning but we definitely wanted more than just the day of coordination.
Halina was very professional and answered all our questions right up to the day of. She gave us tons of advice beforehand and got all the vendors on the same page so we didn't have to. She was there for rehearsal, which went so well, I don't think we could have done it without her. It would have been such a mess on our own. Another thing , we were supposed to have a friend as our officiant but she had to back out a month before the wedding. Well Halina found us the most perfect officiant! Another match meant to be! We are so thankful for that too!
We were worried about our videographers not showing up when they started not answering emails and phone calls. Well Halina found us two vendors willing to be on standby just in case we needed them! But luckily, our original videographers did indeed show but that's another story!
Also, on the day of the wedding, Halina brought an assistant, Amanda, to help us as well. She was great too! They were there from before the bridal party got hair and makeup done and stayed all the way until cleanup.
So many little things they took care of together on the day of, for instance, one little hiccup, we did not have time to practice our first dance in the Bride's dress beforehand. Luckily we had a couple minutes during the cocktail hour and found out we could not dance together in her dress. Halina rushed Bride back to the hotel room upstairs and quickly changed her into her 2nd dress earlier rather than later all in the meanwhile, Amanda was taking care of the guests and getting them seated correctly for dinner right before our introductions.
I could keep going on but let me just say and I've been telling all our friends planning to get married now, unless your wedding is small, (ours was 200 guests) you need a wedding planner! At least get a day of one! And the first person you should contact is Halina and Amanda from Touch of Grace and hope they are available for your wedding! We could have not asked for a better outcome for our wedding!
Before I write a long review, if you are even thinking about using A Touch of Grace, I say "do it," and ask for Halina.
I am totally "type A" so when we started planning our wedding I didn't think I would need a planner. We went for a long time without one, but then life got in the way and we got busy, things came up and it didn't feel like we were on track. Having never had a wedding before and not paying close enough attention to friends' planning, I had no way to gauge if I could pull it off and be happy with the outcome.
Finally, I broke and reached my limit. I emailed A Touch of Grace and got a reply from Halina. She was great as we planned along the way and kept me calm and talked me off the ledge several times. What I cannot say enough is that my wedding came together on the day of thanks to Halina and her team. Every question I asked as I was getting ready about setup, timelines, etc., was already taken care of. All of my guests commented on how seamlessly executed the wedding went and this was definitely thanks to Halina and team. All of my vendors were amazing but Halina made my wedding vision come together even better than we dreamed.
Melissa and her team of assistances went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. This was no simple feat. Our wedding was a three day event where we hosted our guests on my parents property, in teepees, and had to bring everything in which resulted in Melissa and A Touch of Grace having to manage over 20 vendors!
During our initial meeting I told Melissa that I wanted to feel like a guest at my wedding. I also wanted to make sure we didn't miss a beat when it came to the events of the weekend and the evening. And she delivered on everything-
The planning process with Melissa was absolutely seamless. She came to every meeting well prepared and thoroughly thought threw of all the details. She is also well connected in the industry and had great recommendations on vendors who were all amazing!
Because I didn't have to manage all of the details, my husband and I were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding and feel like we got to really be in the moment and were able to say hi and enjoy all of our guests company.
One of the biggest feats that Melissa accomplished was to coordinate a surprise (from my father) where jets flew over our wedding right at the end of our ceremony. The timing on this was critical and she was able to pull it off even though my grandma was late to our ceremony.
Melissa and A Touch of Grace is well worth every penny. One of the conversations post wedding with my family was that when and/or if my sister ever gets married Melissa will be the first phone call!
We worked with Cinthy and she made our wedding so amazing!
We had a pretty short engagement (6 months), and the very first things we did were to select a venue and then find Cinthy! We went with the full planning package, and are glad that we did. From the very first day, she worked with us to understand our style and vision for the wedding. Both of us had a vague idea of what we wanted, and Cinthy knew just the questions to ask to help us refine our plans. She had great suggestions for all of the details (table layouts, flowers, card box, etc). Cinthy also has the absolute *best* vendor recommendations, and all of the vendors love her! We could tell that everyone was truly pleased to be working with her on the wedding. I can't blame them -- her excitement was catching and her attitude was so positive during all our meetings!
Cinthy is extremely organized, and everything came together so smoothly on the wedding day. She came with two assistants and a detailed timetable, and kept everything moving stress-free. She even brought a tray of yummy snacks to make sure all the ladies were eating during the day! We were so lucky to have all of the details taken care of -- our family kept going on and on about how effortless everything felt.
Thank you Cinthy for helping us to create truly amazing memories!
Halina's guidance and help made my daughter's wedding a great success. Everyone had a terrific time and I could not have done it without her! I appreciate all her expertise and help.
If I could give A Touch of Grace more than 5 stars I would! Lauren was my wedding coordinator and she was AMAZING! From my first meeting with Lauren until our wedding day, she always went above and beyond my expectations. She worked with me on my visions for the wedding was able to take some of my basic ideas and turn them into magical reality. She met with me several times one-on-one and was always very responsive via phone and e-mail. She is very detail oriented and planned my wedding day down to the minute, from when the vendors arrived to me putting on my dress. She even created a separate timeline just for my bridesmaids. My wedding day was perfect and I largely attribute the success of the day to Lauren and all her hard work. I highly recommend A Touch of Grace!
I cannot say enough about how spectacular Cinthy and her team were! A year before the wedding I started working with Cinthy. She was so organized and kept me on track with all the details from beginning to end. She was so quick with her emails and responses and had answers to each of my questions! The rehearsal and the day of went off without a hitch! One of my light up letters was not working the day before the wedding... so her husband re-wired it! I have recommended ATOG and Cinthy to numerous friends in the Bay Area. They will make sure your day is as perfect as it should be and that you are relaxed to enjoy it!
Halina Brown is an extraordinary wedding planner! My husband and I were planning our wedding long distance and Halina made the entire process not only easy, but enjoyable. Halina had a keen understanding, from our very first conversation, of exactly what I was looking for. We really wanted a wedding full of unique memorable features and Halina exceeded our expectations. I had so many guests rave about all of the features of the wedding that they had never seen before. In addition, Halina's vendor recommendations were amazing. Since we were planning long distance, Halina's recommendations were vital. We could not have been happier. Aside from Halina's superior design esthetic, she is a pleasure to work with. She did an amazing job of removing all stress from the entire wedding weekend, keeping us informed of every detail, and keeping everything organized. I did not have to worry about a single thing. Halina even let me borrow her sandals when my feet started to ache from my shoes! I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to work with Halina, she truly made my wedding everything I hoped it would be!
We are so thankful to Halina and her team, she was such a trooper throughout the planning process of our outdoor/indoor wedding. She was always willing to muscle through the difficult decisions especially the weather, although it didn't cooperate (it rained heavily the night before as well and right up until an hour before the ceremony).
Additionally, she made the day-of setup and coordination completely seamless, she was always checking in with us and signaling what was next.
She helped source important quality vendors including our rehearsal dinner venue, caterer, florist, and lighting technician.
She listened to our vision and always tried to stay within our aesthetic. We also appreciated that she would offer her advice but still follow that with "but this is your day and your wedding, what would you like to do?"
Overall we enjoyed the best weekend of our lives thanks to the help of the team!
We met Halina Brown along with several other wedding coordinators a year before the March 2016 wedding of our daughter. During that first meeting, our daughter knew that Halina was the best person to help her design a wedding with a very understated Alice in Wonderland theme. Halina’s ever present smile and quiet manner helped to ease us through the stress of a large venue wedding at the Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove. She is spectacularly well organized and efficient while offering beautiful touches and unique suggestions that have left us with a flood of glowing memories. Throughout the past year, she was in constant contact with us and kept us on schedule with the many tasks that lead to a great ceremony and party. Whether selecting the venue, planning the invitations, designing the look of the venue, choosing a florist or a photographer, Halina always offered the best people for us to work with. She never insisted, but she always made suggestions that we could choose between and discuss at length. In the end, her suggestions seemed to be our ideas as well. Her suggestion of Teresa Stoner Floral Designs transformed attractive rooms into a place that every guest felt was unique and special. She suggested Eric James as a photographer, and we found in him someone who shared our sense of artistic fulfillment. On the day of the wedding, Halina’s staff, Ashley, Amanda and Melissa, was always available with the right answer to our questions and to address each concern that we had. Ultimately, the day was a grand pleasure because, thanks to Halina, we only had to enjoy letting one of the best days in our family life happen.
Cinthy from A Touch of Grace was outstanding. Resourceful, organized, and a true pleasure to work with. She made our wedding the dream wedding we wanted. Going with a wedding planner was the best decision we made during this process and Cinthy was the dream planner. Highly recommend!
I don’t usually give reviews online but I feel obliged to give a five-star review to our wedding planner, Cinthy. We talked to quite a few planners at first and were not sure which one to choose. But in retrospect we absolutely made the right choice going with Cinthy and felt incredibly luck. There are many things that differentiate Cinthy from other planners. Although we asked for the month-of package, she started working on our wedding the first day we signed the contract with her, which was about two months before the wedding. Usually other planners don’t start working on the wedding until the month of the wedding. She is extremely detailed oriented, thoughtful and resourceful. She would spot mistakes in the contracts, remind you important deadlines, follow up on your preferences, and all the little things that matter.
Most importantly, Cinthy stayed top of everything and was very accessible. And that was so important to us because in the last few weeks before the wedding, because any snafu could happen and many unexpected tasks would turn up. She was very responsive over emails. We called her, for example 10pm in the evening around Christmas, and met her in person multiple times to go over timeline, solve logistics issues, etc. She went extra miles to contact additional vendors. The general sense I got from other planners is that they don’t usually meet you more than twice before the wedding and ask for surcharge for extra help. Having an extremely responsible and reliable planner really gives you a piece of mind. You can never ever underappreciate the feeling of having someone who is capable you can depend on when you are planning hard for this perfect moment of your life.
I used A Touch of Grace for my October 2015 wedding and I am beyond happy that I did! Our coordinator, Lauren, was absolutely perfect. She was so friendly, warm, detailed and thorough, creative and trustworthy! The entire process working with Lauren and ATOG was a delight and we were truly blown away by their professionalism, customer service, dedication to their clients and genuine love of what they do. Thank you so much for making our day PERFECT!
We recently worked with Cinthy and her team at A Touch of Grace for our Labor Day weekend wedding. Cinthy's responsiveness and attention to detail throughout our planning process was outstanding. She worked with our ideas and budget, and made sure every detail of our ceremony and reception was covered. She made several suggestions we would have never considered, and each of them went over flawlessly. She even helped with our rehearsal dinner and day-after activities (even though that wasn't part of our contract). We were absolutely thrilled with Cinthy and her team, and would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Bay Area!
Halina was our Wedding Coordinator for our 2 day wedding. She helped us get organized the month before the wedding and made sure everything executed properly on the day of the wedding. She is absolutely pleasant to work with. She made me rest assure because I know things would flow smoothly on the day of the wedding. She kept us calm and stress free the week of the wedding. We can't thank you enough Halina. Thank you for being such a huge part of my wedding.
I can’t say enough positive things about Cinthy Walsh and the team at a Touch of Grace! Cinthy was recommended to me by a friend who got married in San Francisco last year, and I am so grateful that we hired her as our full-service planner. While I’m sure we were not the easiest clients for her to deal with (a bit picky about some things, totally clueless about others, plus I had to plan this whole this from across the country!), that didn’t phase Cinthy. She was amazing from the beginning. She was always extremely responsive to my emails and accommodated my crazy schedule, setting up meetings with us for the whirlwind planning weekends when I was only in town for 36 hours. She was also the perfect amount of hands-on. Whenever we needed advice, she was there with pro tips from all of her experience. She set us up with some of the best vendors around, but also let us make our own decisions. She was never too pushy, and always did everything within her power to help us create the exact wedding we had in mind.
Cinthy truly became a lifesaver during the week of the wedding. She seamlessly handled anything that went wrong-- from handholding the venue manager who kept messing up our details to getting the AV team to raise our outdoor café lighting two feet higher to literally scrubbing our white dancefloor clean. She made sure that every single detail was perfect, and throughout the whole thing, she completely kept her cool. She has such a relaxed positive energy, and I feel lucky to have had her as a part of my wedding experience!
I would recommend Cinthy to absolutely anyone in the Bay Area looking for a rock star wedding planner! She will be your fairy godmother on the big day and make you feel like you are in the most capable hands.
Cinthy was my wedding planner throughout my entire wedding process. She was literally involved from beginning to end! From scoping out the venue, to communicating with vendors, to holding my veil during photos! She is dependable, knowledgeable, and always available. She always made me feel like I was the priority. She kept me on track with budget and was so great at communicating my timeline so that I wouldn't stress out as it came closer to the wedding. Everything turned out amazingly on our special day! And my husband and I owe a big thank you to Cinthy and the Touch of Grace team!

We decided to go with a wedding coordinator about six weeks prior to the big day when we realized how stressful the planning was becoming. Halina Brown did an excellent job of picking up loose ends and organizing everything from day-of-event details to vendors. She did a fantastic job of making our vision a reality. Halina was a great partner throughout the whole process. Her ideas and suggestions were creative and very thoughtful, and she represented us well with the various vendors--negotiating contracts, checking vendor reviews, tasting food and desserts, advising about flowers, and the list goes on. On the day of our wedding, she was excellent, making sure everything went smoothly. She was especially attentive to our needs from beginning to end, making sure we had whatever we needed, for example, delivering drinks and snacks while we were busy with photos and family. (And she had an assistant on hand for extra support). Halina communicates well by e-mail, by phone, and in person. She builds rapport easily, and has a unique calmness, which makes her an extremely effective coordinator. Weeks later, guests are still commenting on how wonderful our garden ceremony and reception were. Halina was a pleasure to work with. Thanks, Halina!

When we got engaged, we really wanted to do some of the planning on our own. We knew that we wanted some design help and a day-of-coordinator, and interviewed several planners. After meeting with Halina, we knew she would do a great job, and booked her right away. We booked the Wrap Up service, which starts two months prior to the wedding.
Halina was wonderful to work with. She kept us on track at regular meetings, and sent weekly to-do lists of things that still needed to be done. She tactfully handled a last minute change in caterer, and was invaluable with her industry knowledge and assistance with finding vendors that we had not booked.
She had great ideas for all aspects of the wedding, and made a beautiful escort card display out of an old frame.
She stayed with me in the bridal suite on the day of, helping to put together the backdrop to the sweetheart table, and steaming my bridesmaid's dresses when they were wrinkled from travel. Two other planners were present on site coordinating the setup and delivery of rentals.
Halina listened to what we wanted, and produced an amazing design for three separate areas for the wedding. We got so many compliments from friends and family. We cannot say enough good things about Halina and the A Touch of Grace team that handled our event. They produced an amazing event that exceeded our expectations!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cinthy from a Touch of Grace! Hiring her was the best decision we made while wedding planning! Although we selected the wrap up service, Cinthy was available throughout our entire planning process with vendor recommendations, timelines, and general advice. We ended up selecting our cake baker, DJ, and hair dresser (Branching Out Cakes, Fog City DJ, and Anything for you Salon, respectively) per Cinthy's referral and were thrilled with both. She was mindful of our budget and very respectful of our decisions to deviate from certain wedding traditions. In the weeks before our wedding Cinthy kept us organized and on-track, helping trouble shoot last minute details and keeping the lines of communication between us and our vendors open. Perhaps where Cinthy shone most was on the actual day of our wedding. She was there with two assistants and handled EVERYTHING with grace. We didn't have to worry about a thing. For example, when our alcohol vendor didn't deliver ice or vermouth, she went out and bought some. There were quite a few things that went wrong behind the scenes but we were blissfully unaware and Cinthy made sure out wedding went off without a hitch. On top of all of that, she is just a lovely person to be around. We would highly recommend her to anyone who's planning on getting married!
From start to finish, Halina from A Touch of Grace made my wedding planning so easy. My engagement was only 9 months and I was starting to feel very stressed out and overwhelmed by the whole process. Halina eased all my anxieties. She kept me on track by constantly checking in and was always there to answer any question I had throughout the planning process. I used ATOG for my day-of coordination but they did so much more. Halina and I had multiple meetings where she consistently went above and beyond for me. We went over every wedding detail together and she set up the most amazing timeline that had every detail planned out to a T.
On the day of my wedding, Halina could not have made things run more smoothly. Every single part of the day went perfectly. She showed up in the morning with breakfast for me and my bridesmaids and made sure every vendor showed up on time. She was even there to save the day when my custom veil got caught by a gust of wind in the park and flew into the bushes! Halina kept everyone on time and ensured that everyone in the bridal party knew where they were supposed to be at every point throughout the day. We were even running ahead of schedule at one point!
Every aspect of my ceremony and reception were set up beautifully and exceeded every expectation I had. Her and Dawn made my vision come to life. I cannot thank A Touch of Grace enough for keeping me sane and making my wedding day so stress free which made it truly memorable. I would recommend them to any bride-to-be!
Working with Melissa at "A Touch of Grace" was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. My daughter decided to have her wedding in Lake Tahoe and being that we lived in the Bay Area we thought it would be a good idea to hire a coordinator to take us through the entire process. I had no idea how much work went into a wedding. I was simply amazed at the process and the remarkable calm and wisdom Melissa had regarding every detail from the very first day we met her. I enjoyed every moment of the planning. When the wedding weekend finally arrived after 14 months of planning, I was just so excited and happy at how everything had come together. The actual wedding day was absolutely beautiful and everything was perfect. I really can't thank Melissa enough for making it so easy and so much fun. I so enjoyed getting to know her and watching the bond she formed with my daughter most especially. You are simply an amazing young woman. Thank you from the bottom of my heart :)
Cinthy Walsh from A Touch of Grace is amazing! We hired her as a Day-of-Coordinator for our wedding this August, and she went absolutely above and beyond the contract description and our expectations. She was friendly and warm from the moment I met her and I'm so glad she took a chance on this last-minute bride (I sought her out only 3 months before the wedding!)
Even before the wedding day, Cinthy helped tremendously with the planning process itself, which I did not expect from a day-of service. She helped us with our remaining vendor selections (she referred us to great florist), even going with me to some vendor meetings that were far from her office. She also took charge of vendor communication early on, which took a load of stress off us.
I also really appreciated how she always kept our budget in mind, and recommended things within that budget. She was candid about which items were not worth fussing over, which we could easily do ourselves, and (often) which items she could lend us!
On the flip side, there were some things I was timid about (I didn't like the table setting I originally picked, for example) and she insisted that it was important I pursue what I liked instead of settling. In the table setting instance, she even accompanied me as I revisited the rentals vendor and made sure I was happy with what I chose. I was so touched because she did not have to do that at all and other vendors might have easily just convinced me my first choice was just fine.
The month of the wedding was stressful and full of family drama (we were CRAZY to host my in-laws one month before the wedding...), but Cinthy kept me focused on getting tasks done and everytime I would call or email her, she always cheered me up =)
Then, when the rehearsal and wedding day arrived, that's when Cinthy truely shined! From start to end, Cinthy and her team from A Touch of Grace took care of everything, and neither myself nor my husband had to deal with any of the day's details. We were able to enjoy the day, and be better hosts because of Cinthy and her team!
There are too many good things to say about the wedding day itself (and even after! she dropped off a van-full of our leftover alcohol at our house - amazing!) that I am overwhelmed at the thought of listing them all out, lol. Suffice it to say, Cinthy and A Touch of Grace are highly highly recommended.
Just one funny story to add: My husband was very busy with work during the planning process, so he didn't get to meet Cinthy until the venue walk-through. He was so impressed with her that after the meeting he claimed, "Now that's the kind of person we need running our company!" (he's a co-founder of a tech start-up). I almost thought he was going to recruit her on the spot, LOL.
Cinthy Walsh from ATOG is beyond amazing!!! Our wedding day would not have been half as amazing as it was without Cinthy's help. She left no little detail overlooked and allowed both my mom and I, as well as my now hubby, to enjoy ourselves and feel calm throughout the entire day knowing Cinthy would handle everything for us!! Everything ran so smoothly and the little hiccups were dealt with by Cinthy and her team without anything even being brought to my attention.
Cinthy went WAY WAY WAY above and beyond her "day-of" duties, meeting with us several times in the months leading up to our wedding and answering our emails and phone calls with positivity and optimism. Weddings can be a stressful time for family and Cinthy helped to make it the best, most fun day of our lives.
I would without a doubt recommend hiring Cinthy for your day-of needs. I couldn't imagine our wedding without her. THANK YOU so much, Cinthy, for everything!!!! We are forever grateful for all of your help :) xo
We hired Cinthy as our full-service wedding planner. From the get-go, Cinthy is always very responsive and meticulous in following up. She helped us to develop our budget, allocated the budget based on our priorities, and assisted in securing/negotiating with vendors. As an experienced planner, Cinthy has developed great rapports with many vendors at different price points, which make the vendor selection process so much easier. We LOVED all the vendors that we ended up working with!
Overall, the planning process with Cinthy was a great ride! All we had to do was to communicate our vision with her, she'd make sure our ideas were executed perfectly. She's very generous with her time, patient, and thoughtful (I mean who'd drive across the bay to her client's place to pick up a bunch of bulky wedding decorations after hours!?). She always followed through with everything and answered all our questions with great attitude, that made all stressful situations so much easier to handle :)
On our big day, Cinthy picked us up early in the morning, made sure we were well-fed with her homemade macarons and pastries (YUM!), coffee, and fresh berries! Thanks to Cinthy's guidance and communications with all of our vendors, everything went very smoothly, down to the very minute details. Her great work extended even after the wedding, as she returned our all rented items to our vendors, so we didn't need to worry about anything. She continued to follow up on a few items for us to wrap up the loose ends. Honestly, we were so grateful to have her as our planner extraordinaire and can't imagine planning our wedding without her!
