Saige Stefanski, the founder of A Touch of Saige Events, has worked in the wedding industry since 2013. While at college, she studied business and is constantly learning more about the ever-evolving nature of the wedding industry. Her dedication to her career, and commitment to understanding each customer, makes her an invaluable resource for people in the midst of planning a wedding. She sees each celebration as an opportunity to showcase the individuality of each couple.
From an elopement on an Alaskan glacier to a romantic celebration, A Touch of Saige Events collaborates with every client on their wedding ideas. They can decide to travel, and combine their wedding with some exploration, or hold a small celebration in their local area. Saige wants them to feel the same joy that she experiences every time she supports a couple in planning such an important celebration.
To ensure couples get the service that they want, Saige offers several à la carte options to supplement her pre-existing packages. Customers can have as much, or as little, additional assistance as they want. They can opt for Event Management , allowing Saige to manage the details while they enjoy their time together or they can fulfill your full planning needs. She was such a huge help throughout the entire planning process, especially when it came to finding amazing vendors. She had great recommendations, and even when we needed a vendor at the last minute, Saige jumped right in and helped make it happen. She always made us feel like we were in the best possible hands.
On our wedding day, Saige was absolutely incredible. She set up our ceremony and reception spaces beautifully, making sure every detail looked perfect. But what impressed us most was everything happening behind the scenes. She handled problems before we even knew they were problems! Because of her, we were able to be fully present, enjoy every moment, and celebrate with our family and friends without worrying about logistics.

We met for about an hour for a consultation. Her pre-consult questionnaire was very through, even asking for my Pinterest board, which wasn't asked for by anyone else I met with, and I thought that was so clever! After my consultation with Saige she sent over a custom proposal package based on our call. Her packages really can be customized to fit what you need and so much more! Its worth a call to talk to her about your wedding.
Even though she was out of my budget, I believe what she is charging would be well worth every penny. Her smaller base packages still offer so much support and unique perks, and she was a delight to meet with. and zoom call, we knew Saige would be the one to plan our elopement.
Neither of us had ever been to Alaska before, and Saige went above and beyond to help us figure out the perfect location for the ceremony, places to see, things to do, people to contact, etc. Without Saige, we would have been lost and overwhelmed. She made this process so easy for us and so stress-free (which was the biggest thing we wanted out of the whole experience).
All of Saige's recommendations were wonderful and hit it out of the park. And anytime we needed something changed, Saige was extremely accommodating and handled it fast and professionally.
Saige takes what she does seriously. She sent us a questionnaire to fill out and send back to her in order to get to know us better and to better personalize our elopement day. Between doing this and being a softball coach, she still managed to make time to meet with us and promptly reply to our emails. Once she got to know us more she put together a plan for us for our elopement day that best fit our wants and needs. And even on the day of our elopement, while we were off having a great time flying around to different glaciers in a helicopter taking wedding photos (one of her recommendations), Saige stayed behind at the air bnb (our venue) and whipped it into shape for our return so we could have our wedding dinner and first dance.
Since we eloped and didn't have any guests, we offered Saige to come stay at the Air bnb the night before so she didn't have to get up as early and drive all the way there, to which she accepted our invite. That was one of our favorite parts because it gave us all a chance to sit down and hang out in person and it not having to be "business" so to speak.
We could not have asked for a better person to handle everything we threw at her, and if we had to do it all over again, we would have found and hired Saige sooner!

We chose the full planning package. We had a private ceremony, a large reception, and a farewell brunch in Girdwood, Alaska. Our vision was not for the faint of heart, there were many moving parts and last minute changes, yet Saige did not miss a thing! The oversight and support provided was absolutely phenomenal.
From our first meeting I knew that we were lucky to be working with her! The attention to detail, knowledge of design, and curated planning experience that she provides are second to none! Saige made the process simple for us with questionnaires, organized checklists, amazing communication, vendor management, and purposeful proactive planning.
Saige provided amazing guidance on preferred vendors, handled all coordination and communication, and essentially became our liaison so that we did not have to manage all the back and forth for each detail. This was very valuable and allowed us to focus on each other on our big day. The timeline that was created for all events was absolutely immaculate and kept everyone on track and in the right place at the right time.
On top of everything else, there were so many beautiful aspects that Saige designed and incorporated, I could have never done this without her! The venue design, beautiful candy bar, and throne chair were some of our favorites. The layout and design allowed for us to be transported into our winter wonderland wedding with every sense.
Saige was there for every step of the planning process and the day of, she was all in on managing the events, family dynamics, and she even bustled my dress before our grand entrance.
We truly had the most amazing wedding dream team! We really enjoyed Saige and each of the hand picked vendors she recommended. Everyone was so sweet, professional, and fantastic!

ted Saige to help with day-of coordination for our 2021 wedding, Saige jumped at the opportunity to be there for us despite us reaching out only a handful of months before our celebration. Having Saige there to help us tie down loose ends in the weeks leading up to our wedding afforded us the opportunity to enjoy our wedding day when it arrived. We knew we were in competent and experienced hands, and that Saige's leadership and attention to detail would mean that our vision was carried out exactly how we hoped. On the day itself, Saige helped to manage our schedule and kept things moving forward, while also giving us time to connect with each other and our loved ones. If any hiccups happened on our day, we are still none the wiser! From getting boutonnieres pinned on our wedding party, to problem-solving getting my dress steamed properly, to checking in on our mothers to make sure their champagne glasses never went dry at the reception (my mom has not stopped singing her praises!), Saige was on top of it all. ve been a success without Saige. We attempted to plan it ourselves but struggled to find options online and had limited success getting responses from vendors. We threw in the towel and decided to hire a wedding planner. Saige was the only planner we reached out to. We knew she was a perfect fit for what we wanted. She started the planning right away, walking us through every step. We initially struggled to find a venue, but she was patient and found us the perfect place. Unfortunately, we planned the wedding for 2020 but had to reschedule to 2021 because of COVID. She made the rescheduling an easy process. Saige was always available to answer any question no matter how dumb. She thought of small items and details we didn’t even think of or consider. She understood our budget and took it into consideration when suggesting ideas to us. She went above and beyond and really brought our visions to life. For example, she offered to label the beers we created, she allowed us to ship items to her house so we didnt have to fly with them, she suggested excursions for our guests even though it had nothing to do with the wedding, and she suggested great vendors. She really had her hand in every detail of the wedding, and it allowed our guests to really enjoy the event. We just had to show up and she did everything else, including the entire clean up. The wedding was perfect! The entire event turned out better than we imagined. Everything was beautiful and we were able to have everything we wanted! Our guests are still raving about it! Saige even went out with us to the Palmer, AK bars afterward. The whole time it seemed like she was having as fun making our dream come true as we were living it. I originally got the Day of Coordination package and we were able to customize it a bit, so that she was also able to help me with finding vendors. After everything going on in 2020, I ultimately decided to postpone my wedding which led me to cancelling the wedding altogether. I can’t praise her enough, if you’re like me, things like this is incredibly overwhelming and I don’t think that I would have been able to take what I had and make it what it became. Another thing to consider is that I know that a lot of people don’t feel like they “need” something like this and let me promise you - you do. ithout a doubt. Her ability to get stuff done in a timely manner and run the show is impressive and all of our guests kept commenting about her work-ethic. There were multiple times where we needed something to get done the day of and Saige had either already completed it or took charge immediately and removed all the stress.
