Even several months after our wedding, my wife and I still struggle to find the exact words to describe how incredible Saige and her team at 'A Touch of Saige Events' truly are.
O...
ur wedding was at The Windsong Lodge in Seward, Alaska. We are not in Seward or even in Alaska. We knew our wedding planner would be coordinating with the venue and all of the vendors on our behalf. We needed someone we could trust to bring everything together, even from a distance. Saige was the that person.
'A Touch of Saige Events' came highly recommended by friends who had worked with Saige and her team in the past. Our venue recommended her. Every vendor we spoke to recommended her. After our initial consultation, we were certain that Saige was the right choice.
When there were problems, Saige seemed to already have the solutions. The baker had a family emergency and was no longer available? She had a backup. Venue had some paperwork issues? We barely knew anything had happened. The bride was concerned that the venue wasn't going to fit our "formal with fantasy flair" theme? Saige's incredible selection of decorations and her connections with other businesses made the whole venue tell the story we wanted to tell.
Here's the kicker: throughout the planning process, Murphy and his Law seemed to be frequent visitors for many of our vendors, including Saige. One night, we received an email from her explaining that a family emergency had come up and that communication might be delayed while she traveled to deal with it. Shortly afterward, severe technical issues complicated the planning process even further.
Despite these challenges, Saige's professionalism, organization, and preparation were so exceptional that the disruptions never seemed to affect the experience we had as clients. We honestly aren't sure whether to call her a prodigy, a wizard, or some other kind of expert, but I suspect all of those descriptions apply.
Our introduction to Saige came through the many people who recommended her. After working with her ourselves, my wife and I are thrilled to count ourselves among those who wholeheartedly recommend her to others.
Thank you, Saige, for making our wedding everything we had hoped for and for being such an integral part of the memories we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.

ing day everything we hoped it would be.
She was such a huge help throughout the entire planning process, especially when it came to finding amazing vendors. She had great recommendations, and even when we needed a vendor at the last minute, Saige jumped right in and helped make it happen. She always made us feel like we were in the best possible hands.
On our wedding day, Saige was absolutely incredible. She set up our ceremony and reception spaces beautifully, making sure every detail looked perfect. But what impressed us most was everything happening behind the scenes. She handled problems before we even knew they were problems! Because of her, we were able to be fully present, enjoy every moment, and celebrate with our family and friends without worrying about logistics.
Saige truly went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful we had her by our side. She is professional, dependable, incredibly responsive, talented, and clearly cares so much about her couples. If you’re looking for a wedding planner who will make your wedding experience easier, more beautiful, and far less stressful, we wholeheartedly recommend Saige and A Touch of Saige Events!
Full disclosure, I didn't book with Saige. For what I was looking for in a planner and our budget constraints, we decided to go a different route. However, if budget was not to be ...
considered, I would have booked with Saige without a doubt!
We met for about an hour for a consultation. Her pre-consult questionnaire was very through, even asking for my Pinterest board, which wasn't asked for by anyone else I met with, and I thought that was so clever! After my consultation with Saige she sent over a custom proposal package based on our call. Her packages really can be customized to fit what you need and so much more! Its worth a call to talk to her about your wedding.
Even though she was out of my budget, I believe what she is charging would be well worth every penny. Her smaller base packages still offer so much support and unique perks, and she was a delight to meet with. Based on my short experience with Saige, I'd bet your wedding will be great hands if she's the right fit for you!
Saige was an absolute blessing to my husband and I. Her service and accommodations to us were exceptional. Planning a wedding from Michigan to be held in Alaska was simple and stre...
ss free because Saige had taken everything under her wing and turned all of our visions into reality, from afar. Her personality was unmatched by any other vendor, and she truly was the glue behind it all. We also received compliments from ALL of our guests on Saige's performance, organization and professionalism on our wedding day. Our experience with Saige led to a friendship that we will cherish for a lifetime.
She has extensive experience in the wedding industry and strong relationships with a wide range of vendors, which was helpful throughout the planning process. Her knowledge of how ...
things typically run made decision-making easier, and she was able to offer practical recommendations when needed. She uses well-organized planning platforms that helped keep details in one place, and she created a clear, structured schedule that kept the planning process and the wedding day running smoothly.
A Touch of Saige is Absolutely Amazing!
Hiring Saige was the best decision we made for our wedding! From start to finish, Saige was organized, professional, and an absolute joy to ...
work with. She truly made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable.
Saige has an incredible eye for detail and ensured that every element of our vision came to life perfectly. She coordinated the transformation of our reception venue into a romantic, fairy-tale setting with stunning floral arrangements and elegant decor. In addition, she seamlessly coordinated a separate wedding ceremony in my parents' apple orchard.
On the wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about anything. Saige handled everything behind the scenes, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment with our guests.
If you’re looking for someone passionate, talented, and who genuinely cares about making your day special, look no further than A Touch of Saige. We can’t thank them enough for helping make our wedding everything we dreamed of and more!

ding was truly everything I had envisioned and more, it felt like a dream. I hired Saige just a few months before our wedding and it helped relieve a ton of stress, especially since I was planning our wedding all the way from Ohio. We also ran into some issues with our venue and Saige ended up working everything out for us. She’s very professional, thoughtful, and has amazing attention to detail. We also used several items from her rental inventory which ended up looking so great and the whole rental process was seamless. Day of our wedding she was always checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed so we could just relax and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend Saige to anyone starting the wedding planning process. She was wonderful and she will make it all happen!
Saige, Hannah and Caiti did an excellent job as our wedding planning team, both helping us find and book all the vendors we needed for our event, but also bringing all of the logis...
tics together on the day of our wedding.
Our event was interrupted by bad weather (any couple’s worst wedding nightmare), and Saige’s team was able to pivot our entire event indoors flawlessly, while maintaining our vision of the ceremony.
Moreover, Hannah made our day easy by keeping pressure off of us so we could enjoy the event, but also checking in to make sure everything was going the way we wanted.
Saige also has a great inventory of rental items, and went even further to custom make some items to help deliver on our event décor and vision.
Saige made our winter Alaskan dream wedding come true, complete with a full venue transformation from a barn to a black tie ballroom. Her sense of style is unparalleled and she kno...
ws vendors both within and outside Alaska to help make any dream a reality. Our night was amazing, and we also had so much fun for 14 months prior while planning. Her work gave us the gift of enjoying our engagement because we could just have fun while she handled all the stress. On the day of the wedding, as far as I knew, absolutely nothing went wrong because Saige handled everything. All we had to do was relax, dance, and get married! I recommend her services for anyone who is planning a wedding or event in Alaska.
Deanna and I decided that we wanted a destination elopement in Alaska, so we figured we better find a wedding panner based IN Alaska! Deanna found Saige, and from the first emails ...
and zoom call, we knew Saige would be the one to plan our elopement.
Neither of us had ever been to Alaska before, and Saige went above and beyond to help us figure out the perfect location for the ceremony, places to see, things to do, people to contact, etc. Without Saige, we would have been lost and overwhelmed. She made this process so easy for us and so stress-free (which was the biggest thing we wanted out of the whole experience).
All of Saige's recommendations were wonderful and hit it out of the park. And anytime we needed something changed, Saige was extremely accommodating and handled it fast and professionally.
Saige takes what she does seriously. She sent us a questionnaire to fill out and send back to her in order to get to know us better and to better personalize our elopement day. Between doing this and being a softball coach, she still managed to make time to meet with us and promptly reply to our emails. Once she got to know us more she put together a plan for us for our elopement day that best fit our wants and needs. And even on the day of our elopement, while we were off having a great time flying around to different glaciers in a helicopter taking wedding photos (one of her recommendations), Saige stayed behind at the air bnb (our venue) and whipped it into shape for our return so we could have our wedding dinner and first dance.
Since we eloped and didn't have any guests, we offered Saige to come stay at the Air bnb the night before so she didn't have to get up as early and drive all the way there, to which she accepted our invite. That was one of our favorite parts because it gave us all a chance to sit down and hang out in person and it not having to be "business" so to speak.
We could not have asked for a better person to handle everything we threw at her, and if we had to do it all over again, we would have found and hired Saige sooner!
Thank you Saige, for everything you did for us and beyond!!
Saige made our dreams come true by bringing our grand wedding vision into reality!

ld to amount to the level of gratitude we feel.
We chose the full planning package. We had a private ceremony, a large reception, and a farewell brunch in Girdwood, Alaska. Our vision was not for the faint of heart, there were many moving parts and last minute changes, yet Saige did not miss a thing! The oversight and support provided was absolutely phenomenal.
From our first meeting I knew that we were lucky to be working with her! The attention to detail, knowledge of design, and curated planning experience that she provides are second to none! Saige made the process simple for us with questionnaires, organized checklists, amazing communication, vendor management, and purposeful proactive planning.
Saige provided amazing guidance on preferred vendors, handled all coordination and communication, and essentially became our liaison so that we did not have to manage all the back and forth for each detail. This was very valuable and allowed us to focus on each other on our big day. The timeline that was created for all events was absolutely immaculate and kept everyone on track and in the right place at the right time.
On top of everything else, there were so many beautiful aspects that Saige designed and incorporated, I could have never done this without her! The venue design, beautiful candy bar, and throne chair were some of our favorites. The layout and design allowed for us to be transported into our winter wonderland wedding with every sense.
Saige was there for every step of the planning process and the day of, she was all in on managing the events, family dynamics, and she even bustled my dress before our grand entrance.
We truly had the most amazing wedding dream team! We really enjoyed Saige and each of the hand picked vendors she recommended. Everyone was so sweet, professional, and fantastic!
You can not put a price on perfection, hiring Saige is the best investment you will make for your big day!

re a wedding planner. From the first meeting with Saige, I knew immediately I wanted her to be our planner. She sent us a questionnaire and then followed up with more questions during our meeting. She helped us choose a plan that would meet our needs and vision. I never once felt overly stressed about the wedding. She was effective at communicating with us and helped recommend vendors for us to use, all of which we are beyond pleased with. She acted as the liaison between us and our vendors, which was so wonderful and helpful. Everyone loved the s'mores bar that she put together for us. I really could not ask for anyone better to help put this day together for us. Thank you again Saige for everything!
Saige was wonderful to work with! She’s very organized, professional, kind and has lots of rental items available for any type of event. Highly recommend!

she was able to provide at every step of the biggest undertaking of our lives was truly above and beyond. She was out there solving problems that we didn’t even know existed until after they were solved. Just an absolute dynamo every step of the way. We set out on an expedition, and she not only built the roads to get us there - she wrote an atlas to show us every way we could get there. We’re so very grateful for her tireless services, and very fortunate to consider her a lifelong friend. Thank you Saige!

d a great selection (and even offered to change the color of the arch if we needed!) and very reasonable prices. Our elopement planner, Madison at Alaska Wild Heart Events, coordinated the pick-up and drop-off which made the entire experience so easy. The arch was a beautiful backdrop against the mountains and made for beautiful and memorable photos. We would absolutely recommend A Touch of Saige Events!
We rented pedestals from A Touch of Saige for a wedding and not only were they the perfect addition, but the process with Saige was so smooth and easy. Highly recommend!

stressful event easy! It was magical and wonderful. We highly recommend Saige for planning, day of coordination (seriously, I didn't lift a finger on the day), and her beautiful rentals - she made wedding planning super easy and enjoyable!
As a wedding professional myself, I've had the opportunity to work with Saige both for my own wedding and also for weddings serving couples together.
When my husband and I contac...
ted Saige to help with day-of coordination for our 2021 wedding, Saige jumped at the opportunity to be there for us despite us reaching out only a handful of months before our celebration. Having Saige there to help us tie down loose ends in the weeks leading up to our wedding afforded us the opportunity to enjoy our wedding day when it arrived. We knew we were in competent and experienced hands, and that Saige's leadership and attention to detail would mean that our vision was carried out exactly how we hoped. On the day itself, Saige helped to manage our schedule and kept things moving forward, while also giving us time to connect with each other and our loved ones. If any hiccups happened on our day, we are still none the wiser! From getting boutonnieres pinned on our wedding party, to problem-solving getting my dress steamed properly, to checking in on our mothers to make sure their champagne glasses never went dry at the reception (my mom has not stopped singing her praises!), Saige was on top of it all. Everything turned out perfectly thanks to her and her team.
And, as a fellow vendor, I've witnessed the way Saige interacts with her couples and other wedding professionals: kindness and care are always at the forefront. She is exceedingly professional, flexible, and thoughtful. She truly goes out of her way to make her couples' dream celebrations come to life and it shows!

ve been a success without Saige. We attempted to plan it ourselves but struggled to find options online and had limited success getting responses from vendors. We threw in the towel and decided to hire a wedding planner. Saige was the only planner we reached out to. We knew she was a perfect fit for what we wanted. She started the planning right away, walking us through every step. We initially struggled to find a venue, but she was patient and found us the perfect place. Unfortunately, we planned the wedding for 2020 but had to reschedule to 2021 because of COVID. She made the rescheduling an easy process. Saige was always available to answer any question no matter how dumb. She thought of small items and details we didn’t even think of or consider. She understood our budget and took it into consideration when suggesting ideas to us. She went above and beyond and really brought our visions to life. For example, she offered to label the beers we created, she allowed us to ship items to her house so we didnt have to fly with them, she suggested excursions for our guests even though it had nothing to do with the wedding, and she suggested great vendors. She really had her hand in every detail of the wedding, and it allowed our guests to really enjoy the event. We just had to show up and she did everything else, including the entire clean up. The wedding was perfect! The entire event turned out better than we imagined. Everything was beautiful and we were able to have everything we wanted! Our guests are still raving about it! Saige even went out with us to the Palmer, AK bars afterward. The whole time it seemed like she was having as fun making our dream come true as we were living it. She was a joy to work with and we are sad our time with her is over. Maybe we'll have to make this wedding thing in Alaska a yearly thing. We are so glad we decided to hire Saige because it would have been a hot mess without her.

All my family and friends said it was the perfect wedding and I can say with confidence it is because we had Saige taking care of us. I highly recommend A Touch of Saige Events!!

I originally discovered Saige through Instagram and fell in love with her account. Her posts and design style reflected exactly what I was looking for my wedding. I was planning a ...
wedding in Alaska, but lived in Vegas, so I knew I wanted a wedding planner to help make things easier for me. After meeting with Saige, I knew she was the one I wanted to help plan my wedding. Her prices are very reasonable for the different planning packages she offers. I originally got the Day of Coordination package and we were able to customize it a bit, so that she was also able to help me with finding vendors. She was so wonderful and easy to work with throughout the whole planning process.
After everything going on in 2020, I ultimately decided to postpone my wedding which led me to cancelling the wedding altogether. With all the changes that I made regarding the wedding itself, Saige was so understanding and helpful through it all. I wish we could have seen what Saige would have done for our wedding because I know she would have done such a wonderful job.

rdinated and timely. She was never pushy or suggested anymore than what we needed but remained realistic in order to make our day perfect.
I can’t praise her enough, if you’re like me, things like this is incredibly overwhelming and I don’t think that I would have been able to take what I had and make it what it became. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish, it was seamless and punctual and I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING.
Another thing to consider is that I know that a lot of people don’t feel like they “need” something like this and let me promise you - you do. If anyone tells you otherwise they suffered their whole wedding day. I actually got to enjoy and appreciate the moments with my family and friends instead of stressing out with all the details. She also listened to me when I said I was ready to go home early, haha! She was so patient with me and it was very appreciated.
Do yourself a favor, hire this woman. She will take your vision and make your day even better than you could have imagined.

we had to have a big outdoor Alaskan wedding and we were immediately daunted by the task. Hiring Saige and having her by our side through the entire process was the best decision we made! We had the “wedding in the woods” that our daughter dreamed of and we could not have done it wothout her professionalism and support. She is an Alaskan girl who is definitely in our family radar for the next wedding event!

ally came. She was exactly what we needed and so much more. Saige stayed in close contact with all our vendors, ran our rehearsal, arrived early to make sure the venue was set up, and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time during our special day. She was always one step ahead of us so we could be stress free and enjoy every second of our wedding. I can’t say enough good things about her, she truly was wonderful.

ithout a doubt. Her ability to get stuff done in a timely manner and run the show is impressive and all of our guests kept commenting about her work-ethic. There were multiple times where we needed something to get done the day of and Saige had either already completed it or took charge immediately and removed all the stress. If you’re on the fence about hiring an event planner, pull the trigger on A Touch of Saige Events. You won’t regret it.
