we knew this was the place for us. Her knowledge, professionalism and bubbly personality made us feel at ease choosing A View on State for our venue. From then on, Pharna was our event and day of coordinator for our wedding. Pharna was an amazing resource throughout the wedding planning process. She has extensive knowledge and planning skills to ensure your wedding day is perfect. She will be your biggest advocate and do everything in her power to make sure you’re happy. We left our meetings with Pharna feeling confident and so excited for the big day. Our wedding day itself was perfect! Everyone who helped was so kind and it went seamlessly. Pharna was on top of everything, allowing my husband and I to be in the moment and enjoy every part. Choosing A View on State was the best decision we made for our wedding. We cannot recommend the venue and their team enough. We are so thankful for the memories they helped create & we thank them for being a part of our story. We love you guys! Mr. & Mrs. Deng.

questions throughout the planning process. We worked with Pharna over the past year and she was absolutely amazing to work with — I can’t say enough good things about her! We had Connor as our day-of coordinator and he was also great and followed our day of timeline and kept the day running smoothly overall. The venue is beautiful with a lot of spots outside to take pictures. Although there are technically three rooms here, it does feel like you’re the only ones on the property with how they have the ceremony times spaced out. I only saw the other wedding party one time as we were getting on our party bus after the ceremony. Overall our experience was amazing and I would 100% recommend A View on State to any bride looking at venues in Omaha!

. We had paid and set this up, it was stated we would receive a flashdrive of all the photos taking that day. After reception ended, we did not receive this. The day after, we were told we would have this sent to us, but it was not. I reminded the venue several times of this to which they told me they would get it sent. This occurred a total of three times then on the fourth time I reached out to the venue, I received no response. I am very displeased with this as we did pay for this. I do appreciate how often they follow up and all the meetings that a scheduled prior to the day as well as the availability to schedule more as needed. But as we attended these meetings, the original price we discussed continued to increase. This is due to all the hidden costs that are directly explained prior to booking such as different decor options or amenities. The price can be increased (for example) by changing the lights, textiles, services like the photobooth and decor associated with this, and adding just 30 minutes to an already early end time. The area is nice if you want a blank slate, but I found it difficulty to achieve my vision for the day. I also had to constantly get approval on simple decor changes, if I was not using the ones provided, which does make sense, but it should not have been such a battle. Sadly, you also can not set up prior to the day unless they are not booked. If they are, you can not be in the venue until 12PM the day of, which is not enough time to decorate and get ready if you do the time of 4PM for the ceremony. Which brings me to the next point, the venue often has 3 weddings happening on the same day. Due to this, you can not be outside during other ceremonies. I do respect this, but it is something to be aware of which was not disclosed prior to booking. Another note I would like to advise of, a florist I discussed with booking denied to work with me if I chose this venue due to having a bad experience. I will not disclose who and I ended up not booking with them. I would not recommend this venue.

tina and then we switched to Delaney and they made our experience so easy and enjoyable. Each staff member is so knowledgeable, they answered all of our questions, and gave great recommendations for vendors and ideas. One of the biggest things at the A View Venues is they offer so many different things in your wedding packages that you don’t even think about and that the staff handles mostly everything so it was a no brainer for us. The staff is there for you during the entire process and Delaney is truly AMAZING, she knew our vision for the day of our wedding and she made it come to life and I wish we could relive our wedding day over and over again!

aesthetic of the venue is so dreamy and so beautiful that you could go without much decor. The only thing I wish I could have changed was my ceremony time which was at 5:30 to the last ceremony time. We have no complaints about this place and if we could do our wedding all over again, we would still choose this place. Our wedding was the most fun and we wish we could relive this day over and over with A View.

th really takes a lot of stress off of the couples. For the most part, all we really had to worry about were our center pieces. They allow for multiple meeting to help nail down all of the details. Pharna was there with us for every step of the way, even when we were at our most nervous, she was there to lend a hand and ease our minds. We received so many compliments about the venue and ceremony space, not only that but all of the staff were super helpful and everyone loved our bartender, she was awesome. We honestly could not have had a more smooth and enjoyable wedding day, that is also thanks to our amazing day of coordinator (included with our rental of the venue) who kept everything on schedule. We wanted a venue we could hold the ceremony and reception at the same site and A View delivered! Jena, our day of coordinator, made sure every detail of the day ran smoothly!! We could not have asked for a more perfect day for us!! The staff at A View played a HUGE part in this!

me time and I couldn’t imagine having to share the space with anyone else. That would have been extremely difficult for pictures. We also met with a different person each time for meetings however it felt like everyone was all on the same page of how we wanted the wedding. My biggest complaint is about our coordinator. They said that I would get my own personal coordinator and that we would have another one running the show as well. Well I don’t know if everyone took off the day but I only had one coordinator who did not keep things together. She was kind of rude to my bridesmaids and my groomsmen. She barely spoke two words to me except to tell me that I need to get everyone to rehearsal as I was scrambling to get ready in my bridal room. And to quickly usher me down the aisle. I was trying to get things together and calm myself and she kept saying “everyone is waiting for you we need to go” in a very rude way with no empathy at all. After the ceremony I didn’t see her again. I was under the impression she would help the flow of the wedding but once we got inside from pictures things started to feel gracefully chaotic. If I could have had my coordinator actually help with the flow of things like I was under the impression she would then I would have had a more positive experience. It is one of the reasons we chose this venue. Overall the place is very beautiful, I’m not entirely sure if I would pay $13,000 again just to have a wedding here but it was definitely a positive experience aside from the coordinator situation.

When we had concerns with our other vendors they (A View) empathized with us, and even reached out to them at points to get the communication rolling which was appreciated so much because it was one less thing for us to worry about. My biggest complaint is wedding day we had a seating chart but due to some changes the seating chart didn’t match the number of chairs we needed at the tables. We had communicated that with the number we had been texting, yet, we still didn’t have the right amount of chairs at some tables. & they verbalized their understanding VIA text. Including tables who had the right amount of people with the seating chart provided. So, as the bride I was having to scramble around to find more chairs since they didn’t do what we had been communicating about. Pretty pricey for what we got, but they did provide a lot so it kinda made up for the price. Overall, I don’t know that I would have another wedding here just due to the fact that things we’re constantly changing & for how much money we spent we didn’t have the right things set out for wedding day, but everything did come together and it did look beautiful.

hat were never discussed. The bar package is the bare minimum and they will not honor any special requests. The staff might not even show up to your event, which happened to us. I would never recommend A View venues to any of my family or friends. The owner is just as bad as the staff.

Our total to them was roughly $10,000 and that was before their price increase in 2022. Overall, we had a good wedding day but I’m here to write an HONEST review from a people pleasing, Type A Bride so here it is. We got assigned to work with Katina. We heard very good reviews about her from friends so we didn’t worry at first. At the first meeting, she told us we had to cancel our Photo Booth (through Complete Entertainment) because they are exclusive and can only use A View’s photo both (which is more expensive for less perks). They had a list of items they were exclusive with (had to solely use theirs for extra cost) and that wasn’t on it. Katina kept turning us down and saying no to a lot of our questions and concerns. It rubbed us the wrong way and that’s when we should’ve backed out. Our second meeting, Katina wasn’t even there and hadn’t even notified us before hand to reschedule or anything. Zoe worked with us and she was the sweetest thing and we got a lot accomplished. Our third meeting, Katina was there but we got little done and were limited to just an hour because they were closing (I definitely understand that but this is kind of a big deal, you can spare 30 mins). Our fourth and final meeting, was mediocre. I felt like there was still a lot of planning to do and felt like Katina was ready for it to be here and over by how care free she was. On the wedding day, doors were locked for quite a while (we were only allowed to enter at noon for our 4:00pm ceremony) they probably opened around 12:15 which set us behind schedule already. As we’re getting ready, a lady named Brittany introduces herself and says she’ll be taking care of us all day. That was a complete shock to me because we had talked with Katina over a span of two years for this! Katina knows the colors, my style, my wedding party and this lady only knows the notes that Katina left. I was so frustrated and things were going wrong so I just had my own wedding planner take charge of everything and Brittany sorta just supervised. I (too politely) asked where Katina was and Brittany said it was just her day off and she doesn’t work Saturdays. Excuse me?! If I had known that before, I would’ve requested a different coordinator. Why the heck are you my assigned coordinator if you don’t work Saturdays? Honestly, I wish we had Brittany for the entire two years because she was so sweet, helpful and fun! She really made us feel heard and cared for. Sadly, she told us we were her last event with A View. After our honeymoon, I got an email from them saying that not enough people drank alcohol and we owed them and additional $400. I was so over them and just wanted to cut ties that I just paid it. To sum it all up, I feel like they care more about the money than actually assisting you on one of your most important days.

eather was bad. Otherwise, EVERYTHING was taken care of. We debated between a few venues, but what stood out about A View was the things included, and their involvement in the process. I cannot imagine how much stress it would’ve added to have to figure out table rentals, linen rentals, coordinating all the vendors, etc. At A View, though, it’s all taken care of. Our wedding was a party from sun up to sun down, all made possible by A View! We did have one small hiccup when our video wouldn’t play, but they made it up to us by providing a free champagne toast for our head table. 10/10 recommend A View on State!!

T day of coordinator! She kept the day running so smoothly, was always there to calm us down or hype us up, and she was even able to get us a new DJ last minute when ours became unavailable. I will always recommend this venue to friends and family because it is the best!

utrageous. We spent over $12,000 on our reception and the venue tried to nickel and dime us over several things. They charged a credit card at the end of our reception without written permission from our contract. The OWNER whom I spoke with on several occasions told me one thing based on my concerns simply to keep the money we had already given them because I tried to cancel several times and ensured me that she would handle the situation personally to be able to enjoy our reception and then told her staff another which became a huge headache for me because of said nickel and diming for no apparent reason. When I say it was literally nickel and diming I mean they refused to give us a refund on 1 gallon of iced tea which was about $15.00. They refused to change our guest count because of an addendum that we signed which we would not have signed had the owner Brandi not told us she would handle and take care of. Telling me I would be able to change things after signing the addendum when in reality she did not. I WILL NEVER use this venue again!!! They are only after your money and don't care about the customer experience.

second we visited it. The ceremony space is gorgeous and COVERED--it gave us peace of mind that even if it rained, at least there was some overhead covering. The reception areas are spacious and gorgeous as well, plus we loved the ability to customize many different aspects to make it unique--no reception looks the same. Keep in mind that a bunch of things are included in the price you pay (table cloths, table runners, plates/cutlery, etc.) but if you want something that isn't in the "included" section, it is an up charge. In addition, if it is a decor item they offer, you HAVE to use theirs, you are not able to bring in your own. Rehearsals are day-of, which was a little stressful. We were lucky that we were the only wedding that day--otherwise you could have up to 3 weddings happening at the same time, which would give you 1 hr to have the outdoor pavillion space for your rehearsal, taking photos, etc. We worked with numerous staff throughout the planning process, which got a little overwhelming not meeting with the same person every time or last second meeting with someone else you weren't planning on. Every person we interacted with was friendly and professional. Taylor was amazing and very helpful when discussing decor (as well as was not pushy, even when we were over time) and Autumn (day of coordinator) was truly great as well. As soon as we met with her a few weeks before our wedding we knew we were in good hands--she kept things running smoothly day of as well as consistently checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. Overall we were very happy with our wedding + reception being at a View.

To all the brides considering options for venue rentals in the Omaha market, I promise you will not be disappointed by entrusting your perfect day with A View on State. The outdoor ceremony under a covered pergola is beautifully landscaped and there is no other spot like it. Their all-inclusive packages take the hassle out of rentals. Their day of coordination ensures everyone is in their spots and all vendors are organized. When our videographer didn’t show up, Katina spent two hours getting ahold of the company for us. She handled and fixed all hiccups seamlessly. Our priorities were timely communication, professionalism, and day of coordination, and the staff at A View went above and beyond to take care of us. It was the experience of a lifetime, and we will forever be grateful we chose to start our next chapter at A View on State.

any of my requests. The room was set up completely different from how we agreed. One of the tables was cramed into a corned making it very awkward. On top of all that, they were horrible during all of covid. I can't believe we paid so much forthwith to make everything more stressful.
