The drapery set-up for a wedding was uneven and the piping was showing. The colored drapes were different lengths. The installer tried to explain that masking tape was the standard "cinch" to hold drapes together. We ended up having to redo most of the draping and use ribbon to try and salvage what was left for us. In addition the flower photo wall had at least four gaps where flowers had simply fallen out. We ordered lighting and it took multiple calls and a lot of intervention from me and the venue staff to get colors even close to correct. We were told the lights were old and did not function correctly. While we ended up with lighting, it was not the effect we had contracted for.
Used for linens and centerpieces then used the other Weddingly to setup the decor. It was a good value for my money. Linens were crisp and bagged to keep out dust.
Josh and Manny are hands down the coolest, most down to Earth people to work with. We were so impressed and thankful that they listened to everyone of our needs and wants when creating the perfect ceremony. We were so happy to work with them and our only regret was to not hire more of their team to help with our big day. I highly recommend you consider Weddingly Events and PPE for your wedding day needs!
I originally hired Weddingly Events for my minister for the ceremony and found A1 as they are owned by the same family. We rented some really high quality rosette linens, chiavari chairs, backdrop draping, and a champagne fountain. The entire team works between all the companies and it was a seamless planning process for us. They delivered, setup, and were out in under 40 minutes and the entire night was perfect. They returned right on time at the end and got everything down and out before we had even left. I wish I would have hired them to take down all of my decorations now too because they were soo good. Oh well live and learn. Only thing I was a bit confused on at first was the security deposit and the damage fee although I called them and they explained it and sent me out a sheet by email explaining the difference.
Fantastic people to work with for rentals. They delivered a wood arbor, folding chairs, and sashes for my wedding in March at my home. They were on time, dressed well, and prepared.
They have the absolute best backdrops. We had them put up a large two valants with lighting and they did the thang! We also got their unicorn resin folding chairs for our ceremony. It is like this silver foil rainbow color I fell in love with. They just have the best and most unique stuff. Don't sleep on them. They stepped it up this year.
The team at A-1 including Kristen and Josh are phenomenal. From the glassware, to the amazing backdrop they provided everything was perfect.
weWe hired PPE Events for almost everything. My husband and I originally thought we would get married in Spring of 2021 however with Covid and the unavailability of my dream venue we began looking at fall 2021 dates. By happenstance our dream venue had a cancellation September 19th so we jumped on it. This left us with a little less than three full months to plan, invite guests, secure vendors, and deal with all the stress that planning entails. We began our search for vendors with photographers, and after interviewing 9 photographers we kept coming back to PPE. They had a great portfolio and seemed to have a good eye along with an understanding of style. Before we decided on a photographer we also began the search for a videographer. We knew we wanted a ceremony video, along with some kind of overall day video. We were also considering finding a live streaming service or a videographer who could do a live stream for us. Well who did we come across again and again – PPE Events. We ended up going with the storybook photo package because we liked the story telling aspect of getting a curated photo album. We also chose the full video package. The name escapes me though. It included everything we wanted from the videography side though. We were able to also add a fisheye photobooth, and a live stream package and got a really good package discount.
The photographer was early and stayed late. We spoke with them on the phone the week before our wedding and went over a list of pictures I wanted including my family shots. They were helpful in giving me guidance on locations for pictures, and the second lady we had there had a really funny personality. There was a point that the second lady (Nicole I think) even ran to Starbucks for my ladies! They went above and beyond. The office seemed organized, and the online planning forms were pretty easy. I was not super impressed that we had to wait until so close to the wedding to get assigned a photographer and then wait so close to the wedding to have that shot list conversation.
The videographers on the other hand were right on time, and were more in the shadows of the photographers. They had us do a few posed things but overall they captured us in the moment. This was very important to me as I imagined my wedding video being a collection of little moments through the day and not a splattering of posed and curated shots. It honestly was about the same as far as communication.
The guy streaming the ceremony ended up being the same guy that also ran the photobooth. I spoke with six companies that did fisheye photobooths and not only was PPE the cheapest – they offered us more options. After we got our pictures we were able to add props and things to our pictures right at the booth. They had it setup to text the pictures and gifs to our phones. I also was able to download all of my pictures from that same link so there was no waiting on them to send me them after the event. The streamer/booth guy was named Justin and he had such a crazy fun personality. I am a huge dancer and we also had a great DJ but I spent so much time in the photobooth on my wedding night. They also went above and beyond and provided the metal things with the red velvet rope, the circle stickers on the floor, and hand sanitizer. The quality of the picture was amazing. I think the photobooth was the cheapest thing we got from them and it had the most immediate impact on the entire event.
Had a couple of problems with a couple of the tables cloths not being the same color of the rest and two of the pcs of the back drop that we had rented also had problems where it wouldn't hang right and we had to hang it a different way we told them when we returned the parts and they did nothing no sorry or discount
Multiple people had helped me pick out rentals for my reception. They were all extremely helpful! When we got to the week of the wedding it was a little confusing since there were different people helping me and so I had heard different things, BUT they did an amazing job. Wanda was great and delivered my stuff and was so nice even though we were still adding things on and taking things off last minute. They by far had the most variety of colors and options to choose from. I could not have planned this without them. My reception ended up looking PERFECT in Tiffany blue and literally, even better than I pictured it to be. I am still obsessed!!!
Josh and Kristin did an unbelievable job coordinating our wedding! We started with an elementary school gym and an open field which they transformed into the most magical place we could imagine! They handled everything with ease and never acted stressed or complained about the countless things we asked of them. Instead they were always positive, adapted to every idea we had, and made our dream wedding a reality!
If you are looking for coordinators who are extremely organized, great communicators, and are flexible enough to adjust for last minute changes (including tropical storms) Weddingly is the way to go!
I first ran into Kristen and Josh two years before my wedding when they coordinated my friend's wedding at Forest Park. Kristen officiated the wedding too. After speaking with my friend she gave them a big thumbs up. I reached out to about 4 planners and not only were they the most reasonably priced they were also the fastest at getting back to me and staying in touch. I worked with Josh a lot before the wedding and he helped me in picking out other awesome and very well priced vendors. I was stressed to the max before them. They created a 5 page day of timeline and then kept me on point. Kristen even brought up and took care of things I would have never thought of during the day of my wedding. The day went almost perfectly. My makeup artist didnt properly attach my right lash and half way through my first look it was peeling off. Kristen swooped in with her bag of goodies and she actually had eyelash glue! I couldn't believe how prepared she was for all of the little emergencies. They did the place settings, worked with my DJ (TKO which was awesome), worked with my photographer, and my other vendors to ensure my day was fantastic. I had Josh officiate the wedding as well and he was great. When I think back about what I would and would not change about my wedding, I only wished that I hired them sooner. I have also recommended them to my sister for wedding next January too!
Weddingly Events did the wedding coordination and the officiant service for the wedding on 04/22/17. Kristen did an amazing job at officiating the wedding for Ben and I. Josh and her made sure that our special branding unity service was ready to go and was perfect. Josh put up with all of the frustrations and concerns with thing that could go wrong and did a great job the day of keeping us on our time line. Josh and Kristen are an amazing team and were an exceptional part of our wedding. They made clean up very easy, and set up a breeze. Their pricing is amazing compared to what any other planner charges. Would recommend to any bride and groom that needs help to check these two out at Weddingly events you won't regret it!
If I could redo anything with my wedding, I would NEVER go through this company again. We paid for set up and tear down and provided a diagram a kindergartner could have read. If my mom and I didn't show up at the hall, it would not have been set up right. The owner herself thought is would be a good idea to switch consultants, so I had the owner do my set up who I never discussed a single detail with and she sent the girl who walked me through everything to her client. Then, they left a table cloth (even though we paid them for tear down) and my mom had to go out of her way to return it or we would have been charged. The owner decided we would not be compensated for that. Also, my mom noticed she got less back than quoted, and when she called she was told she was charged 10.00 because one of the linens had wax on it. We had ZERO candles at the reception and nothing made of wax. Terrible service and we will never go back! Side note: if you do use this service, ask for Amber (she is VERY GOOD and so sweet) and refuse to have the owner touch any of your plans.
A-1 was awesome to work with! We walked in (without an appointment, which I am not sure if they even do, but anyways-) we walked in unexpected, and they were more than accommodating in setting up sample tables, centerpieces, etc. to show us different options until we found what we liked. They were quick, efficient, and delivered and picked up all of our rentals so it was zero hassle for us. Their prices were great, too! I would definitely recommend to any bride!
Great prices! Great stuff! You absolutely must go here before anywhere else. They made our tables and candy bar look way better than we could have done on our own.
They were very helpful before the reception and helping us with the ideas we had but afterwards it was entirely a different story. They said there was mold on the tablecloths we returned to them. They also said there was candle wax on one and they couldn't get it out. Apparently they don't know about Pinterest. I've never seen mold grow in such a short time. I wish they would have shown the tablecloths to us in person. They also charged an outrageous price for three pieces of fabric mesh that had gotten thrown away. They looked like they were disposable so we didn't think to keep them. I could buy the same exact thing on amazon for less than $7 and they charged us $27. After your event they can charge anything they want because they take it out of your deposit. I think it's a scam and a business that is only there to charge afterwards for things you can't argue about.

I rented centerpieces for my wedding and A-1 was incredibly helpful! I was having a hard time choosing because I couldn't visualize exactly what I wanted. We were able to go to A-1 and put together different styles to see what worked best. I was finally able to make a decision. Pick up was easy and all of the jars already had the fake ice in them! During set up, I realized that the quantities for certain size cylinders were off. We'd been shorted 8 inch cylinders and received too many 7 inch cylinders. In the end, no one else noticed the sizes. My mom mentioned it when she returned all of the items and they were very surprised and apologetic. Overall really great service!
The staff set up and tore down our back drop and chair covers. They set up everything beautifully with no flaws. This company is highly recommended for all your party needs!
One of the things I was looking forward to most at my wedding was the draping at the opening of the barns on the farm. It was something that A1 said they could execute for me. Sadly it was also one of the things that did not come out at all like I pictured it in my head/ like the picture given to A1. Then, the day before the wedding what they set up was NO WHERE near what I showed them/ wanted. I told them to just not put it up because their version was so cheap looking that I didn't even want it in my pictures! They also did a table layout for us for the reception site that was no where near accurate. It also did not provide much room for dancing. I'm most disappointed by the lack of draping, and it will forever be something that I really did miss at my wedding.
A-1 had a great range of products, perfect for my indecisive mind. I went to the shop and was able to quickly pick out what I'd need. Staff was friendly and helpful. Linen was a bit pricey but again, they had a great selection.
Amazing. They did exactly what I asked for and did it beautifully. We had a hiccup with the flowers that were to go in the centerpiece of the table and she gave me enough fake flowers to use at no charge as well as more water pearls to go into the centerpieces. The reception looked amazing and I am still getting comments on it. They are definitely a company to look into to if you are looking for a beautifully decorated room.
I only rented a couple plant stands, but I had no problems.
A1 was great. They had everything we needed to keep the cost of the wedding down. We rented everything but the chair covers there. On the day before the wedding we realized that we needed bigger clips for the table skirts and they were able to have it ready for us to pick up. They really know their stuff.

A1 was very easy to rent from and the prices were great. The main negative would be the boxes they packed everything, while secure, were definitely over-used. They made a big deal that we had to bring the exact boxes back, and we did, but it was a little worrisome for me. Also, one of the glass pieces was chipped and we didn't notice before leaving with the items.
I loved that they had my colors for my table runners. I had wanted to get the long crystal chandeliers (sp?) bt they had a $60 delivery only fee for just the 2 of them and it was more than the rental price. I would have loved to have gotten them but couldn't see paying more for delivery than rental. Other than that they were great.
There are not many party rental places to choose from where we live, so I went with the one recommended by our reception venue. They were helpful deciding what we should use and making sure we had everything we needed. However, they waited too long to place our order and some of the items were not in stock. A week before the wedding, we had to change our order. They did give us a discount to make up for the inconvenience, but it was a headache that could have been prevented.
Everyone at the rental place was so nice and helpful! Everything was decently priced and we had an enjoyable time working with A1!
I rented my backdrop material and my cake stand from a-1. They have books and books of images from previous weddings for ideas, and provide great input for ideas if you are feeling stuck. They are easy going and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
We used this service but in Columbia, MO. If you are having a wedding, they give you the 3 day rental for the price of 1 day! Perfect for the weekend! We could pick up Thursday morning and drop off monday morning (Since they are closed on Sun). Great people!
A-1 helped me with all of my rental needs for my wedding. They were very accomodating and didn't mind at all that I was renting my linens from a family friend. They were very fast with setup and take down and didn't really need any extra direction while setting up, they remembered exactly how I wanted everything. They are also very honest, I even got a refund check from them after the wedding.
