We worked with Jarl at Abbey Tent to supply our tent and all of our furniture for our backyard wedding earlier this month and we are absolutely thrilled with our experience! Jarl did a site visit himself to help us identify the right sized tent, furniture, etc. and made recommendations based on our space. The installation was very smooth, and when we had some concerns about some of the turf in the tent creating a possible tripping hazard, he sent his son out and fixed it right away! All of the furniture arrived in great condition. Truly all around excellent product and excellent service. Huge thanks to Jarl and his team at Abbey Tent!
We have been on this journey with Abbey since 2019! From booking a rain tent, to postponing, to pivoting the funds--- Abbey was accommodating, understanding, and helpful! We appreciate it so much!
My husband and I rented chairs and sides of the tent for our venue. I will say that my husband was in charge of finalizing contract information and he said that the process was seamless. However, chairs and the sides of the tent were dirty when delivered. The tent sides had both dirt and what appeared to be mold. We quickly called and the had someone come the following morning and take it all down - refund was also given. Other than the products being dirty, I was satisfied. However, I do wish they paid closer attention to what they are delivering.
We had a very mixed experience with Abbey Tent Rental. There were times that they did not return my phone message or email when I had a change or question about our order. On the day before our wedding, hours before our delivery window, they contacted our caterer asking if we wanted to change the chairs that we ordered. Obviously, we did not want to change our order the day before our wedding. It took them 3 separate trucks to deliver all of the chairs we ordered...well past our delivery window. Our contract stated that our pick up window was today 9-12. I called to confirm and it was changed to 12-2. At 2:00 I called to ask where they were and they asked to reschedule our pick up window to tomorrow. Abbey Tent Rental needs to do a much better job of adhering to the dates and times on the contracts they send to their customers. They delivered all of our order, but not conveniently or on time. We will not be using them again.
Used Abbey for our September backyard wedding and they were great! They were easy to communicate with and accommodating when we needed to adjust the order multiple times. They were able to work with us with pickup times so that we were able to get everything set up in time for the big day.
Lindsay at Abbey Tent was incredibly helpful. She was so patient. When I couldn't decide between linens, she brought in several samples for me to look at. Even on Mother's Day, they got everything there on time. Thank you!
I worked with Abbey Tent & Party Rentals on the recommendation of our wedding venue, The Inn at Longshore. We were having some difficulties with another rental vendor and Abbey Rentals saved the day at the last minute! They were helpful and professional and our tables and linens were delivered on-time and in great condition for the wedding day. I would highly recommend them for any party or wedding rental needs!
We had an awesome experience with Abbey tents. From the first time we spoke with them, we knew the tent / rentals were under control. They helped advise us where to put the tent and the size of the dance floor. They also had lots of options for tables, chairs, and lighting. The cost of a tent is definitely high generally and Abbey fell in the range of other vendors we priced out.
Execution was excellent. It ended up being very cold and they were able to put in place the contingency plan of sides and heaters flawlessly.
I recommend them without hesitation!
Left us hanging as far as a delivery time, delivered a partial order and we had to wait 24 hours for the second delivery; finally received, but still missing items (two hours before the wedding). The white-resin chairs were filthy and guests ended up cleaning them. Silver service trays weren't polished... There was an obvious lack of quality control with communication, delivery, inventory and clean products. I wrote to the owner/president and didn't receive a response. This could end up as unnecessary stress on your wedding day.
Abbey Tent was wonderful and put up with me changing my mind a few times. They delivered everything on time, which was a huge relief.
Their linens were the perfect color, their design for the backyard was great. They really know their stuff.
I would highly recommend them!
We used Abbey as our tent and rental service for our July 2014 wedding in my parents backyard in Guilford. They did an amazing job from meeting in the showroom to pick out items, to sending out updated rental lists and coordinating with Forks and Fingers our careering company. They arrived 2 days before the wedding to sent the tent, dance floor etc. there attention to detail was amazing. We had a packed dance floor and that thing looked just as good at the beginning as it did at the end. Monday came and all the rental were picked up quickly, and professionally. I would recommend Abbey to anyone in need of tents or rentals. We will defiantly use them for our next event whatever that maybe. Thank you for making our wedding amazing!
