When we got engaged, I was at Abella 72 hours later, I have been following this venue for a while & instantly knew it was the one for us! The venue provides beautiful, intimate and breathtaking views, the cottages provides a comfortable & relaxing wedding morning. Our guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the barn & in the courtyard. The reception hall was STUNNING, its provides the romantic and timeless setting. The fields, willows, barn and French country hall give you so many options for breathtaking photos. Ally, Megan and Blaine provided top quality coordinaton for us to making our wedding day a dream. There communication and attention to detail is unmatched & created a stress free day. This venue, this team, is truly, what every couple needs, we are so so thankful! 🤍

We had an amazing experience at Abella. Originally we booked with different owners, but since Megan and Blaine took over, we had nothing but positive experiences. Allie was our main contact throughout the planning process and she was a joy to deal with, kind and easy to chat with for any of our needs. On the day of our wedding, Megan and Blaine were there to help. They were so kind, flexible, and helpful throughout the whole day. They made my day so seamless. The venue itself is stunning, I had the chance at getting married at the willows which is just a fairytale with the trees, and big door for the entry for the bridal party. The main hall is beautiful and one thing we liked was the amount of room for guests to be able to utilize throughout the evening, sitting out in the patio, or the barn during cocktail hour, or just hanging in the reception hall where the dancing was. It was a perfect day, and honestly sad it’s done! We would choose Abella again and again.

We had our dream wedding at Abella and it was such a wonderful experience! There are so many reasons why we loved Abella. Firstly, we adored that everything was in one convenient location, making it easy for us and our bridal party. The flexibility to choose different locations around the property for our ceremony was very cool and fun. We ultimately decided on the French Country Hall for both our ceremony and reception, and it was perfect and stunning. The transition between the ceremony and reception was seamless, allowing us and our guests to enjoy cocktail hour on the patio and in the historic barn. The property itself is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. Our guests loved the French Country Hall and the ability to walk and hangout outside. The Abella staff was incredibly helpful and made the planning process stress-free. Thank you, Abella, for helping to make our special day unforgettable!

Abella’s team is very responsive and kind! The weather threw our original plans out the door - and the Abella team helped us adjust and made it the most perfect day! We planned our wedding from all the way in Houston and they accommodated us with virtual visits and meetings. Would definitely recommend, not only for the beautiful location and facilities but also for the Abella team!

Our June 2024 wedding at Abella was simply a dream come true!! Every aspect was better than we ever could have imagined: the stunning French Country Hall, the beautiful grounds for photos, the equally beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, and I can’t say enough good things about Ally, our day-of coordinator!! We signed up for Abella’s day-of coordinator package, and Ally was THE BEST! She was so helpful and kind throughout the planning process and responded to my many emails and questions and never made me feel like any question was too small or like I was a bother. She made sure we were on track throughout the planning process and helped us know what we still needed to do. The day of our wedding, Ally and her assistant handled all of the set up and tear down, coordination with vendors and more, allowing us and our families to truly enjoy the day! The day went off without a hitch, and if there was a hitch, I didn’t even know about it because Ally handled it :) She is the reason we were able to relax and simply enjoy the best day of our lives!! Most of our communication was through Ally, but all of our interactions with the owners of Abella, Megan and Blaine, were lovely as well! We used Abella’s bar service, and it was top notch!! Thank you to the entire Abella team for hosting our perfect day 🤍

We had our wedding at Abella in May of 2024 and it turned out amazing! The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and made our day special. All of our guests complimented the beautiful Historic Barn and fun Courtyard area- we were so happy with our venue choice. We even did a room flip during cocktail hour (which I was nervous about not taking too long), and the Abella staff made everything go seamlessly. They also had an AMAZING guide for their couples to use with sooo much helpful info in it (dimensions of the grounds layout, specifics to pass on to your vendors, a rental item guide, etc.) I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to get married!

Our daughter and son in law got married at Abella 4/27/24 and it was perfect! So many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the day was! I can’t say enough about the various spaces available, the bride/groom suites, and the overall experience! Ally and Megan were amazing to work with and so very helpful the day of. So thankful!

We have gotten so many comments on how stunning the venue was and how well the day went. Many of our guests have reached out to tell my husband and me how polite Ally and the Abella staff were and how well they blended into the atmosphere of the event. We booked Abella for a May 2024 wedding back in February of 2023. Partway through our wedding planning, the venue changed ownership, which made us nervous and caused some complications with our bar service. However, the new owners, Megan and Blaine, did their absolute best to make the ownership change as seamless as possible and offered their help with finding and securing a new bar service. They have made exciting changes to the small things that Abella offers as included and optional extras. Megan and Blaine are very responsive and personable and have a genuine passion for the wedding industry. Ally on the Abella team was our day-of coordinator, and she is AMAZING!! Ally was always very responsive any time I sent an email with a bunch of questions or shifted around timeline events. When it came to my wedding day, she took over coordination with all our vendors, and I was able to get ready and enjoy the day without any worry. She executed my decor vision perfectly.

Got married 4/2024 and had the most flexible, above and beyond, and patient service from Abella Weddings + Events. They were quick to answer any and all of my questions, no matter what time of day it was, which was so helpful while wedding planning. They also stayed on top of communication and wedding day details and made for the smoothest wedding day. I’ll definitely be recommending to future brides and raving about it whenever my wedding gets brought up.

My husband and I got married here this summer and had the best experience with Abella! From the initial tour, to all of the questions I had through the planning process, to the wedding day, Abella was so helpful and made our wedding experience incredible! Being able to choose our own vendors allowed us to create a wedding that represented us and what we wanted. Abella was very helpful in giving us recommendations for vendors and honest feed back about who they had worked with in the past. Ally is an incredible resource and made sure our experience was nothing but perfect. We loved the bridal and groom getting ready suite and it was nice to be on site the whole day and not have to worry about transportation. The willows was a perfect ceremony location and everything we were looking for.

Our daughter and son-in-law were married this fall at Abella. I highly recommend! The venue is stunning. The separate spaces offered - for the ceremony and reception as well as the Granary and the Bridal Suite - were key factors in choosing Abella over other venues. It meant a lot to us that the owners of Abella were present throughout the day. And I can't say enough about Ally and her assistant. They were on top of every detail. Over these past months of planning for this event, Ally was so helpful and responsive to all my questions. I was impressed with her poise and her expertise and professionalism. During the rehearsal on Friday and all day on Saturday - Ally was running the show behind the scenes and attending to our every need.

We had 300 guests to our wedding and reception at Abella in August! It was beautiful! We had some special requests like ice sculptures, cigar bar, and violinist which was no problem for the space or the planner! The facilities are amazing, trolley charming, and the team works to make our vision happen! Definitely a stunning venue. They also had great communication with all of our vendors which made everything easy!

We are SO happy we chose Abella for our wedding!! We got married May 21, 2023 and we loved everything about this venue. I could really go on and on but Abella made our day perfect. Part of the reason I love our wedding pictures so much is that the space was just perfect for us. Ally is super wonderful to communicate with and answer questions. The staff day of was super helpful to accommodate what our vision was. The girls on the golf cart were sweet and helped us execute the "no first look" until the isle even with the outdoor ceremony. Abella will make everything easy for you. Ex: We ran into some MN liquor license confusion and they did some major heavy lifting in figuring it out so we could book the right vendor!! the little important things. Excellency across the board. I definitely recommend.

Abella is an absolute gem of a property. It offers so much in an elegant package. The Willows ceremony site is whimsical, the bride’s area is very accommodating, the barn gives a rustic backdrop, and the French Country Hall brings a modern amenity in a form that still highlights the farm feel and natural beauty all around. Additionally, no vendor fees or limitations means there is no pressure to feel boxed in on who you choose to help host your event. Ally is also does an amazing job answering questions and coordinating the event. She is so valuable to the venue and overall experience.

Our wedding at Abella was absolutely beautiful. The staff, specifically Ally, was great to work with. They even let my mom and grandma do a special tour of the site before the wedding day. The venue is amazing and there are so many places for great pictures. We had so many compliments from our guests.

The site is absolutely gorgeous, there is no doubt about that. There are so many spots for beautiful photos from the outdoor ceremony location (The Willows) to next to the reception space (French Country Hall) and all the wild grass areas in between. We had so many compliments on the venue from guests. We worked with Ally through most of the planning stages and she was awesome - super helpful and always available to answer questions. We also had Morgan there the day of (we had our own Day of Coordinator) but she was super sweet and available if we needed anything throughout the day. There were a few downsides, however. My set up crew (who were family and friends) mentioned a not-so great interaction with Terri, the owner, day-of. They said that she was pretty rude to them and just super snippy in her remarks, and just not a pleasant person to talk to when asking questions. I get that everyone has their off days, but that was pretty disappointing to hear. Additionally, the venue has a ton of rules tacked on. One being that you have to be out of the bridal/groom's suites before the ceremony starts. This was super inconvenient and just added a lot of unnecessary stress to the day, trying to make sure everything was prepared and cleaned before I had to walk down the aisle. Luckily, Morgan and Ally were incredibly helpful and let my nursing family members into the bridal suite as needed. The site doesn't open until 10am due to having to have the set up crews there in the morning, which is fine, but it's an extra $200 an hour if you want early access.. which just felt silly to me. Considering the venue offers nothing aside from a beautiful location (without having to pay an arm and a leg more to rent), I felt like this was such a ridiculous extra cost, especially since we had to be out of the suites by the ceremony time. All in all, it was a beautiful location and looked beautiful in pictures but I definitely feel that some changes could have been made to make the day easier.

The moment my (now) husband and I met Kenzie to tour Abella, we fell in love with both immediately! The venue is absolutely breathtaking- every single time we visited it was instant goosebumps and butterflies; it was the perfect place for us to get married as it fits both of our personalities perfectly. Kenzie was wonderful through the whole planning process, not only was she our Day of Coordinator but she also created a specialty wedding planning package for us to walk us through the parts we were unsure of navigating on our own. She completely understood our vision, handled my specific requests and attention to detail with such respect and grace, and helped to make us excited when we hit bouts of anxiety that come along with the planning process. The vision I had was brought to life because of her and we truly had the day of our dreams because she took the time and care in facilitating everything. We had a big wedding party with lots of moving parts and she wrangled everyone together to keep things on track and orderly while we all still had fun. Hands down the best venue and the best staff, I wish we could repeat last Friday over and over again. By far the happiest, dreamiest day of our lives and we owe eternal thanks to Abella, Kenzie, Teri, and the rest of the wonderful staff!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue and team to make our wedding dreams come true!!! We did go with the day-of-coordinator package, and WOW was it worth it. Kenzie and her team did everything and more to make sure our day went smoothly. As the bride, I simply got to enjoy my day and soak it all in, knowing that Kenzie was taking care of every detail, questions, concerns, and even handling our guests was such a relief. Abella is an exceptional venue with an even better team behind it. Book as soon as you can!!

WOW!! My husband and I are so incredibly happy that we chose Abella for our special day. They were accommodating and made our whole wedding planning process simple! They were there to answer any questions we had and help sort out the details! Kenzie, Abella’s day of coordinator was INCREDIBLE! She took on all our days details and made sure that my vision was met! Our day wouldn’t have ran as smoothly as it did without Kenzie. Kenzie was flexible, professional and it felt like she truly cared about us and ensured our day was nothing but a fairy tale! Thank you Abella!!!

Everyone loved the venue, and couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was. Great working with Kenzie for all the details and making things perfect. She got married there herself and has great knowledge. Her and Teri the owner understand we are all human and as long as you work well with them and take responsibility they will do the same for you. She is very attentive the day of and makes sure everything is as it should and will call out anything that is an issue. The venue allows you to hire any vendor of your choice (with final approval from them) and are very open and honest about any experiences good or bad they have had with vendors of interest. This is very helpful when it comes to being budget friendly. However, linens and majority of decorations and other necessary items that can/are needed for the day are not included- they have to be rented. This can get pretty spendy. We did rent a second bar, one inside and outside which was great to be able to keep lines short. We did rent their cornhole boards so we didn’t have to haul our own.. except for the set we used as our guestbook. My biggest tip… make sure to end the party a little earlier than you think. We ended at 11:30- and although all our cleaning was already done, it was a struggle to be off the property at 12:00 sharp. Clean out the bridal/groom suite earlier than you think too. Otherwise you are trying to get people set for photos and clean at the same time. Overall! An absolute amazing day, with the smallest of hiccups that I barely even knew happened.

This was hands down the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen! The trees and the rustic feel was absolutely gorgeous. They were very accommodating of the guests that were physically challenged.

We are so happy we picked Abella for our wedding venue. From the beautiful venue, the awesome getting ready areas, and the amazing staff, our wedding day was everything we had wanted and more. The owner, Teri was great to work with and very responsive with the questions we had. Abella also had great recommendations for vendors for us. Kenzie the Day of Coordinator was unbelievable, I cannot thank her enough or speak more highly of her. She really knows her stuff and knows how to make your day the best it can be. She has such great recommendations, is very organized, and really made our entire day run smoothly. I was so surprised how little I had to worry about on the wedding day, which is thanks to Kenzie. If you are considering whether to hire the Day of Coordinator at Abella or not, I would highly recommend hiring Kenzie, it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We were so happy with the venue and am very glad we chose it for our special day.

Our daughter recently was married at Abella! Fantastic venue! Highly recommend. The venue is stunning, the staff is very helpful, they communicate well, and they are so efficient on the day of the wedding! You are able to decide which vendors you would like - catering, flowers, cake, liquor, etc. we heard from our vendors that they love to work with Abella too. As a mother of the bride it was so nice to just enjoy the day knowing the Abella staff is handling everything else!

This venue is everything you could dream of and more. I can’t say enough good things about it and I would 1000% recommend working with Kenzie! They were very friendly and approachable, had a variety of options of reception and ceremony spaces, rental items, and overall and very elegant and timeless look and feel. The grounds and buildings are beyond beautiful and created a get space for our photos. Seriously, I recommend this venue and planning service to everyone! 10/10

Abella is such a stunning property! Everything is so well kept and they have truly thought of everything! Having multiple buildings gives you such a peace of mind knowing no matter what the weather, you will have a beautiful day! As a groom, the getting ready granary was such a fun space to enjoy the morning with the guys. The pricing is all inclusive and there are no hidden surprises!

Everything about a Abella is a must! The reason my husband and I chose Abella was for its clear, no secret or hidden costs approach. There are a lot of venues in Minnestoa that will hide costs from you, but with Abella we understood from prior to a tour what we would be paying and we were never surprised thereafter. Terri is the best owner, who genuinely wants you to have the most beautiful day at her venue. This is made true by the amazing staff they have cultivated in Kenzie and Ali who made our wedding day smoother and better than I could have imagined. I cannot thank them enough for replying to every single one of my detailed questions and taking my vision to the next level! The day of coordination and timeline add on was the best thing I have ever paid for, so please please do yourself a favor if you choose Abella and pay for the coordinator services- you will never regret it! If you are looking for a venue with a beautiful, white, clean blank slate Abella is 100% your venue! Not only is their reception hall a gorgeous backdrop for a ceremony and reception, but the staff alone is reason enough to book. When you do be sure to use Kenzie as your day of coordinator! She went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our day perfect -- even with some unexpected events we had full faith in Kenzie running the show. We got so many compliments on our day that we will never forget! We can't thank the Abella team enough!

Abella was amazing and absolutely beautiful! We 100% recommend the venue to anyone to anyone who wants that modern feel, French style country wedding. Before seeing the space, I remember telling my husband I did not want a "barn wedding" and trust me when I say this is not your ordinary country venue. The main hall is so elegant and the grounds were beautiful. The owner and her team are a pleasure to work with. My husband and I had the joys of trying to plan our wedding during COVID and we had friends with horror stories working with their vendors but the owner at Abella was so kind, compassionate and understanding. She helped us navigate restrictions and reschedules without any trouble or hesitations. We feel so lucky and blessed to have found such a great vendor to help us navigate everything during that hard time. One the day of, the whole day went without any hiccups- it was so perfect! Between Teri, Kenzie, our wedding planner and vendors they did a great job! You won't be disappointed :) I will say the one thing we struggled with was hotels around the area but we ended up providing transportation for our guests from a hotel in the cities and Teri and her team were great at working with the shuttle services to get them in and out of the driveway. So just something to keep in mind- especially if you have out of town guests flying in which we had a lot of.

Abella is a very BEAUTIFUL venue. It's the perfect venue that has everything included. The outdoor ceremony space is perfect and they have a beautiful indoor barn that we would have used if the weather was bad. Besides the beauty of the place my favorite thing was that we could bring in our own vendors, which helped keep us within budget.

I can not recommend Abella enough. Kenzie helped me with so much of my wedding planning along with made our day absolutely perfect! We got to just show up in the morning & enjoy every minute of our day because she took care of everything. Everything single building is beautiful. Being able to bring your own vendors in help cut a lot of costs that other venues charge.

Abella was everything we wanted and more for our wedding day! We booked with them before they were even open - windows and doors were still being installed in the French Country Hall the day of our tour - and even then it just felt right. The venue is obviously gorgeous and we cannot stress enough how FANTASTIC it was to work with Teri and Kenzie. We were super nervous/stressed about everything coming together before meeting with them 4 weeks out from our wedding, and all those feelings melted away after meeting with Kenzie to iron out the details. Amazing! And on the day, they executed the plan to a T, made everything look beautiful, and made us feel so special. Absolutely no regrets here - we're still in awe of that beautiful day!! We held our daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception here in August, the venue and staff is beyond PERFECT. We do acknowledge that the weather was “picture” perfect, but we had peace of mind knowing if the weather didn’t cooperate, there were multiple options to quickly switch indoor to the renovated Historic Barn or the brand new French Country Hall. Here are Highlights of why this venue gets 5+ Stars: • Bridal Suite is included in the package pricing and is located inside the original farm house (which is newly renovated). The space includes a living area with beautiful furniture, a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink and extended counter area, 5 beauty and hair stations, large bathroom, private dressing room where the bride and bridesmaids can hang their dresses and an extended porch with furniture, allowing for even more space. My daughter had a large wedding party (10 bridesmaids) and there was plenty of room for all of us! • Groom’s Suite is an equally perfect getting ready space! It has two floors with couches, video games and a dry bar. • The Willows is the most picturesque space for an outdoor ceremony. It’s a 10 min walk from the main area. The space is centered between two huge willow trees, with stunning reveal doors that lead to the ceremony site. We we’re thrilled that the ceremony chairs and set-up of the area were included in the pricing. For those that have difficulty walking they offer a golf cart, we also chose to rent their trolley to transport everyone back and forth from the ceremony to the cocktail and reception area. • Patio space has plenty of room for a large, yet intimate cocktail hour. Plenty of high tops and low seating arrangements worked perfectly. At night it’s a great space to step out and enjoy the night air with beautiful patio lights and space heaters if need be. • Reception Hall, you really need to see the space to capture how beautiful and large it is. It’s a brand new building with country charm, but the tall ceilings, chandeliers and a focal wall of windows, provides an elegant chic feel. The new space also has plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen and tables and cross back chairs that are included in pricing. Yes, the venue and all its spaces are spectacular, but no space would get such high reviews if it wasn’t for the PEOPLE! The owner Teri and coordinator Kenzie are truly wonderful to work with. From the initial tour, to multiple questions and emails to the final layout session, it all went incredibly smooth! They were both knowledgeable, patient and helpful, they listened to various ideas and offered honest opinions. One piece of advice is to definitely use their day of coordinator service. As the mother of the bride, I got to enjoy every aspect of the day, as did the bride! Everything was taken care! Teri and Kenzie are simply the best! Totally recommend this venue! Nancy

We just got married here and everything was beautiful! It's the perfect spot for your wedding or event. The location is intimate and warm. Gorgeous surroundings and sunset views. And very affordable for everything you get with it!

We had the best day ever at Abella! Kenzie and Teri are incredible to work with. Everything was clean, beautifully set up, and our guests all agreed the day went wonderfully! You can make the space whatever you want it to be, and they have such a good eye to make your dreams a reality! The ceremony site is beautiful and shaded, and guests loved the golf cart service. The bridal suite was so dreamy and we had a blast getting ready too. Everything was just wonderful! PICTURE TIP: Take photos behind the reception hall! The big windows are breathtaking in photos and the chandeliers shimmer in the background.

I am so happy we had our wedding at Abella! Teri and Kenzie were awesome to work with! 10/10 recommend hiring the day-of coordinator. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I loved that they give you the freedom to choose your vendors. They provide great recommendations for vendors, but don’t limit you by forcing you to go with their preferred company. They also have super cute decorations to rent for your big day if you don’t want to go out and buy or DIY all of that. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and will make your day run so smoothly! We did an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception and it was great to have everything on the same property. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready that morning as well! We wanted a barn wedding with the perks of a new building (AC was important for a June wedding) and this venue tied both together perfectly. Definitely recommend this venue!

Teri and Kenzie are so awesome and sweet! They were so fun to work with, and everything was perfectly thought and planned out. Our wedding was everything we could have hoped for. The day was perfect and all of the small details fit into place. Kenzie was on the ball with anything we needed the day of, and was very supportive. We have only heard wonderful feedback from our guests. They had so much fun and LOVED the venue! Being able to bring in our own catering and bartending was HUGE! We had rain, wind, clouds, and sun that day, and still there were so many options for photos, and places to go while we waited for the rain to pass. Highly recommend this beautiful venue, your wedding will feel and look like a fairy-tail!

Teri and Kenzie with Abella were absolutely amazing to work with, they both made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Kenzie, our day of coordinator, absolutely rocked - she kept the entire evening on schedule and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We gave them our decor and they turned it into something so beautiful, it was more than I could have dreamed of. Our day was absolutely perfect and it's because of these two women. The venue itself is gorgeous, we received so many compliments throughout the night. We had our choice of multiple ceremony and reception areas and we both had our own suites for getting ready in the morning. The girls were kind enough to work with me to allow us into the venue super early in the morning too. I don't have a single negative thing to say about our experience, I'm so glad we chose to have our wedding at Abella!

We had an amazing day at Abella! Teri was very responsive and answered all of our questions as we changed our day! Very supportive! Kenzie, the coordinator was so sweet and amazing at her job! She came in right away and really made our day go so smoothly! She checked in throughout and made sure everything was good. So worth having a coordinator if you’re thinking about one! The venue is absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing experience!

Teri was so amazing and flexible with all the changes we had to make due to challenges during the pandemic. She was supportive of us doing things our way, but also had great advice when we asked! The venue is more beautiful than the pictures can show. Our guests loved it and said it was perfect! We agree! Kenzie was so helpful and jumped right in to make our big day run as smoothly as possible. We booked way in advance and the wait was worth it!

Abella is the most beautiful venue and backdrop for a wedding, and my husband and I are so grateful we hosted our wedding ceremony and reception here. To say that planning a wedding in 2020 was difficult is an understatement, but Teri was very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the months leading up to our wedding day in October 2020. Teri and Kenzie made our wedding day run smoothly and were available to answer questions from our planner or any vendor throughout the day. It snowed a record amount three days before our wedding, and we were originally planning to host our ceremony in the outdoor ceremony space at Abella. We were able to pivot and have the ceremony indoors inside the historic barn, which is where we also hosted the cocktail hour. Looking back, I am so grateful we had the ceremony inside the barn, it was a beautiful space and also perfect for the cocktail hour. We first toured Abella last year before it had officially opened and we knew it was the place we wanted to get married! We couldn't have asked for a better venue and Teri was a dream to work with. She knows what she is doing and is extremely organized! She helped us to feel more comfortable with the day of coordination and set up of our wedding. She was quick to communicate with us and I am so thankful especially with the changes we had to make due to COVID. The venue is beautiful and had all the right spaces and I truly felt that they worked with you if you needed to come in early or rearrange a set up. Our day went without a hitch and we couldn't be more grateful to Teri and her team at Abella!

This was the most beautiful venue for our special day! Kenzie was the sweetest and most helpful venue employee/coordinator we could have asked for, she was helping us out with last minute details we totally forgot about since we didn't have our own day of coordinator. She went above and beyond to help keep our day as stress free as possible. The only concern I ever had was a little lack of communication as it came closer to our wedding day in regards to touching base and making final arrangements. I had to reach out to set up our final meeting. It was also so nice to be able to have our dog be a part of our ceremony even when we had to move it indoors.

My friends got married here and it was absolutely beautiful. The fall colors were stunning. Everything flowed so well and ran so smooth. As a guest it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Abella!

I cannot wait to have my wedding at Abella! I knew from the moment I arrived at Abella, it is where I want to get married. As a wedding planner, I have seen a wide variety of venues in the Twin Cities and was absolutely blown away by Abella. I have been able to see first hand how the staff goes far beyond their expected duties to ensure the day runs smoothly. I feel so at ease knowing that even if it rains or we have poor weather, we still have a beautiful indoor option for our wedding. I will definitely also be utilizing the wedding planning services they offer. I am absolutely giddy to be getting married at this breathtaking venue.

I, unfortunately, wish I could give it zero stars. The venue is so beautiful and with lots of space for great pictures. BUT buyer beware the owner is not the same person you met when you toured the venue. On the day of our wedding, I couldn't believe the person she had become she was so rude to all my vendors and wedding party. Luckily she was smart enough to not be rude to my face. I hired the nicest day of coordinator and the owner treated her horribly. My wedding coordinator said she was one of the worst people she had ever worked with in the industry. The owner goes around all day and hangs your damage deposit over your head for very minimal things. I felt like everything was a trap to take our money. I feel every bride deserves to be treated well on their wedding day, which is why I'm writing this review. Brides who have already signed her contract be sure to read it carefully, ask questions, and get things in writing before your big day. There were way too many things that I dealt with and since it was a new venue, there were no reviews to go off of. The owner has taken on too much with being the day of coordinator and should pass the role on to someone else. If they continue to treat people this way, they will run their venue into the ground.

Because of the pandemic, our original wedding plans didn’t work out and Abella soon became the new location for our wedding reception, but you would never think of it as a plan B. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful at Abella and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We were lucky with weather and were able to use the gorgeous outdoor spaces for photos, cocktail hour and first dance. We were skeptical about having a band in the reception hall because of acoustics, but it was the best decision we made! The sound was wonderful & our guests had a blast dancing. It was a dream day and the owner, Teri, was a pleasure to work with! Would definitely recommend.

I cannot truly express in words how wonderful my experience has been with Abella, and specifically with Teri. My husband and I decided to move forward with a small intimate ceremony on 10/9/20, and are planning to have a large gathering/reception in April of 2021. We never envisioned a small, intimate wedding ceremony, however our day was absolutely perfect! We were able to utilize the old barn space for our ceremony, and it was truly a dream! Teri and her staff were helpful, generous, accommodating, flexible, and they are the reason our special day was such a success! I have heard horror stories from other brides in regards to challenges imposed by their respective venues, and I feel so fortunate to say that was not the case for me. Teri made everything feel easy and fluid, despite the overwhelming emotions that accompany not only planning a wedding, but re-planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic. This venue will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I strongly recommend Abella Weddings & Events to all future brides.

We had our wedding at Abella in September, and it was such a wonderful experience!

I am one of the many brides in the spring of 2020 that had to postpone and downsize our wedding significantly due to COVID19. As a result, my fiancé at the time (now husband) and I had to frantically replan the logistics of our wedding. In this stressful time, Teri and her team reassured us that no matter what happens with COVID19 - we would have an amazing wedding day. And she was right! Teri helped us reschedule the big day and supported us through many difficult decisions. Without her guidance, support, and kindness - the situation that we were in could have been a lot more stressful then it was! In these strange times, it really brought to light the character and integrity of any vendor - and Teri and her team showed just that. Not only is she an amazing person to work with, but the venue itself is spectacular! It has everything that you could ever want or need in a wedding venue - a place to get ready (for both my husband and I!), beautiful land to explore and take pictures in, and an elegant premises to hold your reception. My husband and I are so grateful that we chose Abella to be our wedding venue and would highly recommend it to any couple that is not only looking for a beautiful venue to get married in, but is looking for genuinely good people to work with! Although our wedding day was not what we had originally planned, it turned out to be an intimate and special day shared with close family and friends - a day my husband and I will never forget, thanks to Teri and her team at Abella!

Unprofessional, rude, and disappointing. Would NOT RECOMMEND. I’m so sad to be writing this... We are probably the most laid back, easy going couple. Yesterday we got married at Abella and while I was treated well, my entire family, bridal party, my now husband, and our hired staff were treated like trash by the owner of the property. Several told me they felt like an inconvenience to the staff. My own niece and mom were told they could not use the restroom - are you kidding me?? There are too many incidents to list but if given the chance again, we would definitely book elsewhere!

Abella was amazing! Such a beautiful venue in every single space. The owner, Teri, was so sweet to work with and was so accommodating. We had to replan our wedding due to covid and everything regarding Abella was awesome. There was no stress in postponing or hosting a small family wedding at the venue on our original date. We were able to have everything how we envisioned it. We cannot say enough good things about Abella and absolutely can’t wait to have our larger celebration in the next couple of months!

Teri, and the whole Abella team have been a dream to work with. We first selected Abella for our large wedding because it is spacious and breathtaking. The meadow, old barn, and French hall are gorgeous, comfortable, and clean. We had originally scheduled our large wedding for June 5, 2020. When COVID-19 hit MN in the spring the Abella team quickly communicated possible options, and kept in touch as things were changing daily. Ultimately we decided to have a small ceremony with immediate family at Abella on our original day, and host the rest of our guests at a reception in January. We are so thankful that we chose Abella and they’ve been willing to work so hard to make our day(s) extremely special. Teri’s calm demeanor, and sincerity during the whole process make her business unmatched. She has a huge heart and will go above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly leading up to your event, and on your day. We are so excited to share their space with our friends and family in January! If you are considering Abella, I highly recommend visiting for a tour and talking with Teri and her staff. You will not be disappointed!

We cannot express our gratitude to Abella Farm for hosting the banquet for our volleyball program. Not only is their venue absolutely beautiful, but the hosts are so generous and detailed. Every single thing we needed (and beyond) was available and they were kind to help us solve some last-minute hiccups. They went out of their way to host a non-traditional event in their gorgeous space and we are so fortunate. All night, we kept hearing our guests express how beautiful it was, with many of our coaches saying, "I want to get married again just so I can get married here!". The event was flawless and a wonderful celebration to a special season because of Teri and her kind crew. We are so, so grateful.- thank you for helping our group feel so special!

Abella's truly made our dreams come true for our son and now daughter-in-law's wedding. The rolling farmlands, pristine buildings, gorgeous house where the girls got ready, fun "man cave" where the guys got ready, barn 'chapel' that truly felt sacred and special, and stunning reception barn - all was as classy, cared for, beautiful as you could hope for. The site is off the grid enough to look and feel serene and peaceful, yet it is still very convenient for travelers. Working with Teri and her team was the frosting on the wedding cake - she's super talented, great design taste, is very professional and responsible, experienced, thinks ahead, is helpful and is a calming person - her whole team was really great to work with and she's just the greatest person - she really cares about making sure this "most important" of milestone events is as perfect as possible. We all had the wedding we dreamed of for - beautiful, sacred, blessed, fun and just wonderful to be there. Book Abella's now - you'll be so happy you did!

A simple review can’t express our gratitude for Abella, Teri, and her team. Our entire wedding was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived at Abella for our tour we were welcomed by Teri and felt so comfortable and at peace. We couldn’t have pulled off our wedding in 3 months without Teri’s communication, organization, and her huge heart. We felt like part of her own family the way she cared for us throughout the wedding planning process and the day of our actual wedding. From answering all of our questions in such a timely manner, helping us set-up the ceremony and reception sites, to cleaning a stain on my dress for me the day of the wedding, she truly cared for us, our families and our friends, and we feel beyond blessed that our paths crossed. Our guests are still raving about their overall wedding experience at Abella. They were blown away by the beauty of the ceremony/reception locations and the property itself. Teri has truly created a one-of-a-kind wedding venue, and my husband and I are forever thankful to have started our lives together there. We are so excited that Teri and this venue will continue to bless so many more couples and people!

As an event planner who has worked across every possible venue in the Twin Cities, I have to say Abella is top notch!! Absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. Gorgeous facilities, incredibly flexible space that helps any couple’s vision come to life in a unique and special way, and a planning experience that creates a seamless event day of. I can’t say enough about how beautiful this space is. One of the most unique and special spots I’ve seen in Minnesota.

Abella is such a beautiful venue. It is fairly new but Teri the owner thought of all the little details. While the venue alone is impressive, working with Teri and her staff was even more amazing. They were available for questions in addition to helping us with every last detail in the set-up. They helped my daughter have the most perfect wedding day. Thank you Teri and Abella!!

I used Abella for a nonprofit fundraiser and had the best experience. Teri was amazing to work with and her venue is straight out of a fairytale dream. From cocktail hour on the patio to a catered dinner and auction, the space did everything we needed it to. I would host events at Abella a hundred times over!

Abella was absolutely fantastic with assisting in creating my perfect wedding. The reception barn is gorgeous! The day started with the outdoor setting, it was beautiful! Mother nature changed to dark...Teri and her staff moved everything to the indoor site and it was perfect! My vendors enjoyed the easy in and easy out of the reception area and my guests were blown away with the whole experience. If you want perfection, here you will find it!

Attended a wedding here and absolutely loved it. The venue was very accommodating. We were supposed to have the ceremony outside and at the last minute it was going to rain so they seamlessly moved the ceremony inside to this adorable spot. The historic barn that housed the reception was gorgeous and I can’t wait to have my own wedding here!

We took a chance in November of 2018 to book a venue that was not even a venue yet. We loved the owners we talked with, the vision they had, and we signed up for a August 2019 wedding. We were kept up to date throughout the process of building a new barn, renovating the old barn, changes with other things on the grounds, etc. We attended the Grand Opening in July 2019 and said, "Wow! Can you believe we took this chance and it was everything they said it would be and more?!". Teri, the owner, was amazing. She went above and beyond our expectations. Her input and ideas were a tremendous help. The venue was absolutely beautiful and many guests said it was the best wedding they've been to at such a beautiful venue. Now it is a week later and we are still in awe at how everything was so perfect. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with everything you could imagine to make it a special day!

Abella is a stunning wedding venue that absolutely exceeded my expectations. I immediately fell in love with the ceremony site -- a natural, romantic space where I could instantly see myself saying “I do”. Beyond the gorgeous space, the staff is incredibly competent, kind, and easy to work with. I know the new buildings are going to spectacular based on the spaces I have seen! Highly recommend this venue to anyone!

This new wedding space is the perfect spot to get married! The ceremony location is gorgeous and I love how secluded it is. There is plenty of space to accommodate large guest counts. There are separate buildings and spaces available to customize the wedding experience. The owners are easy to work with and are quick to answer questions. I highly recommend this wedding venue.
