She came in clutch for us as we planned our dream wedding on short notice, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her! She met me at About Face Nola bright and early at 6am on the Fourth of July, and spent the morning perfecting my hair and makeup for my big “I Do” moment which occurred 6 hours later. Lindsey is an amazing makeup artist, who contoured my face beautifully to give me the perfect “sunkissed bride” look that I was going for. Moreover, her bridal hair talents are equally as impeccable, as I showed up with a head full of straight, lifeless extensions, and left with a vibrant, full-flowing mane of curls, braids, and babies breath flowers in my hair! It was amazing! There is no way that I could have achieved a fraction of this beauty on my own or with anyone else other than the best of the best, Lindsey Benoit of About Face New Orleans! When it is the biggest day of your life, and you want to look flawlessly radiant, I will always recommend Lindsey with About Face as my #1 for hair and makeup!

About Face is such a wonderful company!! Lindsey was been nothing but patient and made sure that I looked phenomenal. From the matching to my skin color to making sure I was comfortable, as someone who doesn’t wear makeup on a regular basis. It was such a wonderful experience filled with fun conversation, lots of learning, and her entire team is truly the standard. The hair and makeup team was on time to our getting ready location and set up quickly and were ahead of schedule. They were fun, had a great attitude, and were just generally very pleasant to be around on my wedding day. Love About Face! I only recently discovered them and my only regret is not going to them sooner. They graciously accommodated my last minute request for makeup and lashes both times. It’s so easy to schedule online. My makeup looked flawless and natural. Not over done at all! Jenn who did my makeup was super attentive and really wanted to make sure my look came up out how I hoped. She was super friendly as was everyone working. Looking forward to my next event and going to see them again.

Lindsey and Caitlin are the absolute best! They not only did an absolutely incredible job on my hair and make-up, but by the end of our session with them, I had two new friends! Lindsey's make-up application was flawless– she's incredibly attentive to each detail and made my wedding make-up vision a reality. And Caitlin created incredible up-dos for everyone in my wedding party! By the end of the night, we had no signs of long-term wear on hair or make-up– which is a testament to their skill and quality of product! Love these ladies lots and would highly recommend! 💕

I had the best experience with professional makeup and hair with About Face. They came to do makeup for a wedding I was officiating and made everyone look flawless. The makeup they use isn’t heavy feeling or look heavy in pictures and they can do any tips of hairstyle. Everyone felt so confident that day because they felt beautiful. ABOUT FACE IS WONDERFUL!! I had originally spoken with Lindsey with About Face. She was pleasant and great to deal with. I was even given her personal cell number so I could reach her directly with any questions.She kept in contact through texts leading up to the wedding. Shannon did a fantastic job! Punctual, friendly and a makeup genius! Our makeup looked like us, only better!! I’ve never had my makeup done, and was worried about it being “ too much”. I received several compliments on how good the makeup looked. Lindsey texted me the day after the wedding to ask how everything went. I appreciated that, as it gave me a chance to tell her myself how pleased we all three were with our appointment. I will definitely use About Face again.

What a great experience! We hired About Face NOLA to do my bridal hair and makeup and hair and makeup for 3 bridesmaids on 5/8/2021. Tiffany and Jessica provided these services in my hotel room. They were so personable. Even though I had just met them, I felt like I knew them for years. They were incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. I booked Meghan at About Face to do my bridal make up for my October wedding. Meghan did a fabulous job! I received so many compliments, and it lasted the entire wedding ceremony and reception. Meghan was so kind, friendly, and attentive. She really listened to what I wanted for my big day and made sure I was happy with her work throughout the appointment. Even with COVID restrictions, I felt very comfortable at About Face. I can't recommend About Face enough, and I will absolutely be using Meghan again for all my special events in the future!

Lindsey and Jen were simply great! From the trial run, communication back and forth, and a amazing eyelash tinting / lift service, it was all amazing! We had many many laughs together with the whole bridal party. The personality of both of the girls was so down to earth and just personal. It didn’t feel like a service by complete strangers. The ladies are extremely nice and very professional! They are very attentive and carefully listen to exactly what look you are trying to accomplish! I have hired them for Halloween makeup and to do my daughter’s wedding and they have done an amazing job on both occasions! I have since gone for makeup lessons and Lindsey introduced me to some amazing products and I typically do not like makeup but I love the products I bought! Lindsey and the other make-up artists at About Face were absolutely amazing! My step-mom and I went in to the shop to do a trial run and was able to meet Lindsey! Lindsey made us feel comfortable, right away! She did a fantastic job with the trial and was open to working with my style. She and the girls did a great job on the day of the wedding! They worked with each bridesmaid to ensure they felt comfortable with the make up and they all looked amazing! They even stayed longer to see if we needed any touch ups before the ceremony! Lindsey is definitely the best choice for make-up!

Lindsey Benoit is AMAZING! I had been on 4 previous trails and was so nervous that I wasn't going to find the right person. From the second I walked in I loved Lindsey. She made me feel so comfotable and did 2 seperate trials to make sure I was happy with the final outcome. My makeup lasted all night and it was so light it felt like nothing was on my face. She did all of the bridesmaids and they were amazed at how pretty they looked! I am so happy I chose Lindsey and would do it all over again!!!

I was so lucky to get a last minute on-site make-up booking with About face as my previously booked vendor fell through at the final hour (talking about a week before the wedding! eek). LOVED my makeup by Lindsay at About Face New Orleans! On a Tuesday, my fiance and I decided to get married in NOLA that Friday. It was very easy to make an appointment online. I showed Lindsay a pic of my dress and told her I didn't want drag queen makeup and she guided me through what would work best for my needs and my tastes. She was lovely, friendly, and professional and she did a GREAT job on my makeup. My friends said I looked like myself, but a Hollywood version. I couldn't be happier with the service and the end product, so I highly recommend this place!
