We worked with Elizabeth Langley from About Thyme Events over 2025 for our February 2026 wedding. We could not have asked for a more wonderful person to help with the planning and execution of our wedding. From the very beginning, Elizabeth was enthusiastic and warm but was also focused and realistic. She kept us grounded in our planning, with periodic check-ins to keep us on track. She was available for pop up questions via phone/email as we mused our options, always encouraging and thorough in her answers, yet mindful of our big picture budgetary constraints with vendors and the challenges of organizing a wedding with several international guests. She helped us focus on the pieces of the day that mattered to us and helped us see elements we could eliminate to enhance our guests' experience of the day. Elizabeth kept our planning on track and always offered excellent, practical advice ranging from design suggestions to trusted local vendors (and some we had not considered in the Richmond & Gordonsville areas - we're based in Charlottesville). At our final walk through at the venue, we got a full sense of how Elizabeth worked confidently with vendor partners - her communication was clear, the plan was solid, and the mutual trust was evident. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, our lives absolutely went into overdrive - a perfect storm of unforeseen high-stakes work deadlines divided our attention away from the planning. Elizabeth had taken over vendor communication by this point, and it was a huge weight off of our shoulders knowing she was focused on our big day and the little (and big!) things that needed tending. But we largely don't know what those pieces were, because she was handling them! With Elizabeth taking over our wedding-day logistics, we were able to focus on having the best night of our lives with friends and family. On the day, she met our needs so well - giving us (bride & groom) breaks when we didn't know we needed them, helping orchestrate vendors and guests through the timeline, and moving decor in our multi-level venue. But through it all, Elizabeth was not just a vendor helping us out. She was a friend who celebrated with us, and having her at our wedding was an incredible privilege. I booked immediately, my first vendor. I picked the month of package so I was worried what type of communication would be overstepping throughout this process and wanted to be mindful of her work and boundaries. Elizabeth never made me feel like I was ever being too much, that any question was stupid, and even when we were weeks away and I was in go mode— she made me feel secure and comfortable right up until the last minute of the wedding. I had very specific ideas in my head for music and timing and other little quirks that I maybe thought were hard to communicate. No, she understood completely and executed flawlessly. ajor decision fatigue. She picked things up flawlessly and took care of us with the perfect balance of providing guidance and following our lead.  The day of our wedding, Elizabeth was a total MVP. During lunch, Elizabeth broke the news to us that a big storm was going to happen during our ceremony with such gentleness and kindness — but also was organized and clear about what had to happen and when. Not only did she orchestrate some big rain plan shifts, she checked in on us emotionally! And, she even printed off our vows, cut them out, and pasted them into our vow books when we no longer had time to handwrite them as we had planned! It was the best day ever — and Elizabeth was a huge reason why it went so spectacularly! We highly recommend her services.

en, she was available to answer questions and help guide our choices. We met in person at our venue walk through about 45 days out. From that point on, Elizabeth took everything off our hands and began to organize the day for us. She led conversations with vendors, and made sure everyone had the information they needed to make the day a success. In our calls leading up to the wedding, she eased our stress, asked the right questions to understand the day, and provided suggestions for the order of things or how we might accomplish a goal we had. The day of the wedding she executed all of our vision seamlessly, made sure we had food and drinks, communicated on vendor arrivals and load in and truly ran the show. She made it all look effortless!! At the end of the night, she handled the clean-up and organized all of our things in our car and at the venue. When we came to pick up our items, everything was packaged together so well which made it super easy for us to get our things and hit the road! I can't say enough positive things about Elizabeth and I truly don't know what we would have done without her!!

ntil the reception night when we were hugging goodbye, she gave it her all to execute my vision. She helped me pick out decor, she stayed through two hours of rehearsal to make sure we got it right and the morning of the wedding she enhanced an already beautiful venue with all the little details. Elizabeth was my calm in the chaos. She checked on me frequently and kept me sane when the best man decided to ditch the reception and we had to tweak a few things. If anything else went wrong, I have no idea because she held composure and kept things running smoothly. Guests recognized her efforts and were thanking her by the end of the night.
