I worked alongside Above & Beyond as a fellow vendor this past weekend, and they made such a positive impression on me that I had to leave a review! This staff is absolutely wonderful. They are flexible, efficient, willing to meet any need that arises, and they’re just all around good people. I really enjoyed working with them, and I hope I’ll get the chance to work with them again! In addition, the food was phenomenal. I’ve worked several weddings, and this caterer had the best food hands down. Thank you!

The best food ever!! My husband and I loved it when we went to taste test so much it was a hard decision for what we wanted to put on the menu! Christi was so helpful and was always quick to answer!! Our guests still talk about how great the food was!!! Thank you so much!

Above and Beyond, as the name suggests, went above and beyond for our wedding! They came highly recommended by our family members (two of whom have already relied, recommended and enjoyed) who also had their weddings catered by them and it truly shows! The service, communication and flexibility they provide is fantastic, and most importantly they truly delivered with their food! We went for buffet style for our wedding and it was amazing. The bacon ranch potato bake was to die for! The staff are fantastic and so accommodating and the packaging offered was just perfect. The best part as well is that they were able to package the linen, cutlery and glass rental all in the one invoice which made organising our wedding *that* much easier without needing to chase and find other vendor for us to juggle. Cannot recommend them enough!

We absolutely loved working with the above and beyond team! Their name doesn't fail to describe their service. Not only did they do a tremendous job on the day of our wedding, leaving guests extremely content with their food, but they were there behind the scenes to give us great advice for our wedding day, even before we booked them! The servers were all super nice and helpful, getting things set up and choosing our meals was stress free, and like I said... no one left hungry!

Above and Beyond just recently catered our wedding and we were so impressed by their service! They were always so helpful and responsive leading up to the big day and then were absolutely amazing on wedding day. The food was delicious and the wait-staff and bartenders were phenomenal. We could not recommend Above and Beyond enough!

We had scheduled a tasting with Above and Beyond for our wedding and canceled all other tastings after because they just got it right. From the time we arrived for our tasting to the time we left we were impressed by all the attention to detail. They made the experience fun and easy and the food was amazing. At our wedding, that trend continued and they gave some of the best service to myself and my guests. They cleared plates, gave friendly service and the food was just as amazing. I got so many compliments on the Mac and cheese! They knocked this one out of the park. I would use them again for future events.

I hired Above and Beyond to cater my wedding and they couldn't have done a better job! Christi was always quick to answer any of my questions and helped me schedule several tastings that worked with my schedule (I live 3.5 hours away) to make sure my fiancé and I got everything we wanted and more! All of the food was delicious and it truly made our day special! I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

Delicious food and great service. Wedding food can be kind of boring but everyone was raving about how tasty everything was! Areas were never messy with dishes and the buffet ran flawlessly!

I cannot say enough about Christi and Above and Beyond! Everything was so perfect, tasted amazing and they literally were angels on earth the day of our wedding. They had served us our food before anyone got their food, they made us two to go containers of our food for later and they came over to see what we needed during us eating. We didn’t have to get up once and actually got to eat al of our dinner the night of our wedding. This was all amazing but my favorite part about them has to be Christie helping my blind and disabled cousin! No one asked but she immediately saw her and my uncle and took charge in helping get what she wanted to eat and drink. She talked to Colleen like she was an old friend. This had my aunt and uncle in tears that this total stranger helped out and spoke to my cousin with the most kindness when she didn’t have too. I wish I could give more stars but they were absolutely perfect with it all. I can’t say enough about them!

All of our vendors were phenomenal, but this catering company truly went Above & Beyond. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced--cheaper than we expected, especially for the quality! They worked with us when we shifted from a 120-person wedding to just 25 people, and they made that transition a breeze. They are incredibly kind and professional, both leading up to and during the wedding day.

Above & Beyond Catering was a wonderful group to work with for my wedding in August 2019. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Food is Delicious and Service is wonderful. Quick response from the beginning on quotes, food options, plate settings, table linens, bartenders and easy help figuring out what we wanted with our budget. The staff the day of the wedding helped setup the tables with guests serving buffet style and made sure plates were made for me and my groom when we were finally had a moment to eat it was ready and specially made for us. We got a cocktail hour fruits, cheese and crackers, reception had salad, chicken and steak options with sides and bread. Staff helped serve alcohol and cut up our cake to serve to our guests after we made our first cut. On top of all the wonderful help were we didn't have to worry if it was being taken care of they made to-go food for us to eat the night of the wedding when it was just the two of us and saved us wine we preferred to take home. Along with all the rest of the remaining food that was eaten over the next month. We saved the wine for our one year anniversary. Thank you for your wonderful help ! :) <3

Above and Beyond was super to work with. The taste testing was well organized, had many choices and everything was delicious. Great at communication and pricing. Day of the wedding they arrived early and the food ( and appetizers) were fantastic! They were so pleasant and helpful. I can not say enough about this company. They left the leftovers in trays ( after fixing special plates for Bride and Groom to take ) and cleaned up everything.

High recommend! They were beyond accommodating with not only our military schedule but with Covid. The food and service provided for our wedding was outstanding!!!

Above and Beyond was perfect for my wedding day! Christi and her team know exactly what they are doing! They also had to have the headache of changing plans due to COVID and handled it perfectly. The food and execution was amazing!

Above and Beyond catering is the best in the state! All of our wedding guests could not come up to us fast enough to let us know how amazing the food was on our wedding day! Not only was the food phenomenal so was the service!! No lines were ever at the bar, drinks were SUPERB (especially since we did a speciality cocktail). Email correspondence back and forth was timely and always helpful and supportive. We highly recommend this team for any event!

Delicious food and wonderful service! Above and Beyond was cheaper than other caterers we interviewed but by far had the BEST food. I would have paid twice what we did for their food. They also accommodated my request of blue linens and had them delivered early for me so I could decorate the venue the day before the wedding.

Above & Beyond is great on a budget without sacrificing on taste! Our guests still rave about how delicious our food was on our wedding day! Christy was great to work with and was honest and genuine as she guided us through the process. I would definitely recommend Above & Beyond and would use them in the future!

Tasting was easy, lots to try. They were very nice and friendly. Food was amazing and there was a lot of it! They were professional and nice. Great company. Highly recommend.

Amazing customer service AND the food was better than the tasting! Everyone raved about the pasta and veggies! We didnt have ANY left over! We did Caribbean Flank steak, Parmigiana Crusted chicken and Salmon. The steak was AMAZING! Definitely recommend them, the staff was friendly, professional and quick to get anything that was needed!

Wow what can I say that their name doesn’t!? The whole team truly went above and beyond to give us exactly what we wanted! They accommodated everything we asked for from start to finish. We were leery at the beginning of the wedding planning process because what if the tasting is amazing and than isn’t the same the day of, but not the case the food was even BETTER! Everyone raved over the food we didnt even have any potatoes,mixed veggies or h’or oeuvres left over! They were amazing with communication and clarifying any changes that were made even up until the week of. The wait staff was fast and professional. Super friendly and made no mistakes! They had plates hot and ready for me and my husband as soon as we were seated, got our drinks and boxed up plates for us to go! The presentation was beautiful and everything was cooked perfectly. Coming from up north and being used to a certain level of service and flavor in food they exceeded mine and my parents expectations and that is a huge compliment to any Italian family! Absolute perfection and service. This team is definitely a vendor you will not have to worry about on your wedding day!

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My coordinator even said they were one of the best she had worked with. All my guests could not say enough about how good the food was. Would most definitely recommend them, and I look forward to using them more in the future.

Above & Beyond truly matches their work ethic to their title. We cannot be more thrilled with the thousands of complements we got on the food for our wedding. The parmesan encrusted chicken and beef tenderloin were out choice, but the guests got both instead of choosing one or the other like a traditional buffet. Christi was a joy to work with during our engagement, and it was awesome seeing the smiles on everyone's faces during dinner. The staff was on time, the open bar was unstoppable. There was rarely ever a line, and we had 115 guests! The bartenders just knew how to work! I cannot say enough great things about this company, and they truly were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend doing a tasting and seeing it all for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed in the slightest!

Above and Beyond catered our wedding, and they were wonderful! Their team is extremely responsive and helpful, and they did a great job of staying on top of all the details over our wedding weekend. Their food is amazing, especially for the price! All of our guests were raving about how good it tasted. I'd highly recommend them for any event you need catered!

We received so many raves about the food at my daughter's wedding! Above & Beyond Catering did just that, they went above & beyond our expectations! The food was delicious and stayed hot, which was one of our concerns with a winter buffet! The bartenders and wait staff were friendly and professional. Everything was perfect!

Above & Beyond was incredible responsive and accommodating leading up to our wedding. They provided a menu with a diverse choice of foods for us to select, and they don't charge unnecessarily for rentals and alcohol! HIGHLY recommend.

Their stuffed mushroom appetizer is AMAZING! Everyone at my wedding told me how great the food was (which is saying a lot because I had a crowd of good cooks)! The servers and bartender were just as great! Christi is also really easy to work with!

All of the staff (from taste testing to phone calls to day of) were seriously AMAZING! Everyone was always friendly, could answer any questions we had quickly, and whoever the team was we had during our wedding was quite possibly the best service we've ever had (and we had a buffet!). If you're in NC or anywhere they can cater any event you have, we HIGHLY recommend Above and Beyond! Even our aunt who is a wedding planner said they had the absolute best service and food she's ever had at a wedding! Thank you all SO SO MUCH for your amazing and loving team, we will never forget such a great caterer!!!

Above & Beyond did an amazing job catering my wedding. The entire process was great. Our guest LOVED all of the food. People are still talking about it. The fried chicken, beef tenderloin, potatoes au gratin were amazing. Christi and the entire team were awesome! Our day would not have been perfect without them!

Above and Beyond lives up to their name. The food and service was awesome. As the Mother of the Bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing, they took care of it all. The guests were taken care of and they were impressed with the food. I don't like to give perfect ratings, but they deserve it.

I couldn't have asked for a better catering vendor. They were so great in the planning process to make sure all of our questions were answered and that our catering experience would be exactly what we wanted. On top of the that, the food is SO GOOD! When we had our tasting, we instantly fell in love and we couldn't stop talking about how excited we were for the wedding just so we could eat the food again! During the reception, everything was taken care of and our guests and bridal party kept complimenting the food and how great it was. I would highly recommend Above and Beyond to anyone who doesn't want to worry about something going wrong or not being exactly how you want for your food and catering experience because they will be sure to keep it going smoothly and keep your guests happy. My husband and I used Above & Beyond Catering for our wedding 7/21/18 at Summerfield Farms and are so happy we did! The food was incredible and our guests loved it! The catering company is SO amazing to work with - so responsive, professional, organized - we were really impressed! After our first tasting, the company got a list of different new appetizers in and then invited us back for a second tasting to make sure we had experienced everything. So thoughtful. Loved this company and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!!

Great food! A little disappointed in their presence day of. They refused to give my mother remaining cocktail hour food. Very good service and polite. The mac and cheese was delicious!!

Above and Beyond is awesome! From our first sit down at the tasting, to all of the questions, calls and emails about linens, plates, silverware, glasses, and changes in headcount, Christi was great to work with! Her experience and help with all things was invaluable! All of the food was outstanding with special shout outs to the Shrimp 'n Grits in mini martini glasses, BBQ stuffed hush puppies, Mac and Cheese and the beef tenderloin in a red wine reduction. We received so many compliments on the food ...even at a party a week later by people who weren't even there but had heard how great it was. A special shout out to Michael and his staff as well! They rocked! They had everything set up beautifully, wait staff, servers and bartenders were great! Everyone and everything far exceeded our expectations!

First of all the people who work at Above and Beyond were always so helpful and put up with changing the menu a little bit and also adding people in the end. Michael came the day before the wedding to set up for the food but also helped my friend with the tables and decorations. He put his arm around me when he saw i was overwhelmed as the Mother of the Bride and told me "Do not worry about a thing I will take care of you" and from that moment on it was stress free. The staff that showed up for the wedding was so professional ( along with Michael) and nice, I never worried about a thing. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I had tasted it 6 months before but it was even better than i remembered.. We had the parmesan chicken, filet medallions, glazed carrots ( which were to die for) and the penne bow tie pasta. Everyone came up to me to comment on the food and how wonderful it was. The chicken was moist and the filet was medium rare medallions in a wine sauce, everything was just perfect. Hands down, some of the most delicious food I have ever had! When we booked our venue, there was a list of catering options to choose from. At the guidance of a former bride to the venue, she recommended that we consider Above & Beyond catering to match our style. Myself (as well as the majority of my family) are strict vegetarians & my fiancé & I were on a pretty tight budget. We set up a tasting & were pleasantly surprised at the sheer number of vegetarian options (not just sides but full entrées) that were offered! We selected our tasting menu (feeling like we were choosing too many options!) & Christi added even more that she recommend that we try, which was so awesome! We had a hard time choosing which food items to go with, because everything was SO delicious!! As for the food set up, I had a pretty unique vision for the day. Instead of sit down or buffet style (the latter being too stuffy & the former being too casual) I wanted to do a Family Style dinner. Christi was more than accommodating about this option & was so supportive in doing the unique approach to the dinner! The dinner was served on beautiful porcelain white style serving dishes, which they brought out to each table. Since my wedding was personal & intimate, guests (i.e. family) just passed the dishes around the tables, just like you would do at Thanksgiving dinner! I can't tell you how amazing & perfect the table set up, food, & drinks were for the day! I had so many guests raving about the food & how they loved the unique dinner approach! Above & Beyond is truly just that, above & beyond any of my expectations! I cannot recommend them enough! If you have a wedding, they need to be your first & only stop!

Food is wonderful! I did not have anything I didn't like. Christie and her team are wonderful to work with and they are very flexible. I probably changed things 3 or 4 times and it was never a problem. Above and Beyond Catering made our wedding day fantastic!

Above and Beyond Catering did an outstanding job and I am so glad I used them for my wedding! From the moment I had my tasting, I knew they were dedicated to quality and really wanted my day to be special. I cannot get over how great the food tasted, and my guests said it was some of the best food they had ever had! They also handled all the linens, silver and glassware, cocktail tables, and bar for the event. Their staff were professional and attentive and I could not be happier about how everything looked and tasted! I highly recommend them for any event!

Above and Beyond was amazing! The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was great! The only issue we had was there did seem to be a bit of a lack of communication the week of the wedding, but overall everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend to any bride looking for delicious catering for their wedding day!

Above and Beyond did a fantastic job! The food was delicious, and there was plenty for everyone. I highly recommend the whisky glazed pork with apples (but everything else was delicious too)! They arrived on time for set-up. The buffet table decorations looked great, and matched our decor. Christi was very easy to work with. She always got back to me quickly with answers to my questions, and accommodated guests with various food allergies without any problem. All of the staff did a great job, and were very friendly and easy to work with. Catering was one of the few things I never stressed about during the planning and the wedding itself, because I knew they had it all taken care of!

I highly recommend Above and Beyond to anyone with catering needs! We had them cater our wedding of about 150 guests. We met with the team a couple of times before the day of to sample different plates based on buffet versus plated meal (you have to try the BBQ stuffed hush puppies). We eventually decided on buffet and we were so pleased! There was plenty of food (with leftovers!) and we heard nothing but good things from our guests. It wasn't until after the wedding that we were told that one of the tables at the reception was infested with ants. Instead of telling my husband or I, the team quickly changed all of the linens and utensils which was awesome! Everyone was great to work with and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Overall great experience and we would work with them again in a heartbeat!

I don't even know where to begin! Above and Beyond is fantastic!! Christi is so sweet, professional, to the point, and a pleasure to work with. I felt incredibly comfortable with her and the food is FANTASTIC! Her catering manager, Alexis (who managed the reception at The Villa De L'Amour), did an AMAZING JOB! She called me a couple days before to go through details and I felt beyond confident! I never worried about the food or the beverages one bit and we have received soooooo many compliments on the food and how nice and professional the staff was. My husband and I had an amazing time working with the Above & Beyond Catering company. Our wedding was on 07/07/2017 and I have to say that people are still raving about our wedding, how beautiful it was and how absolutely delicious the food and drinks were! We could not have had as much of a successful event without Above & Beyond catering. It's always an absolute Blessing to find and work with great people who do great business!!! This company was very professional throughout the whole process. The tasting was really enjoyable, the staff was very responsive to my many questions, and the wait staff the night of the reception were excellent!! Food was great, service included a bar tender which was one less thing to think about, and our guests complimented the food for weeks after.

We were so well taken care of! They even had boxes of food packed away for us to take home after the week so we could eat and plates ready as soon as we walked into the reception. Our wedding was 8/13/16 and I never had any doubts about our catering once we booked Above & Beyond. First of all they are, hands down, the most affordable caterer in this area. Secondly, their food is absolutely delicious! Their menus are HUGE so you are sure to find exactly what you're looking for. We went through Above & Beyond for everything - food, bar service, linens, etc. At our tasting appointment we were blown away at how professional they were. We met with Alexis and loved her right away! Instead of preparing just small bites of each dish, they cooked FULL PORTIONS of everything for us! I really felt special at the tasting appointment because they had a formal table set up for us, complete with linens and china. Something else that I really appreciated - their response time to my emails. As a bride, you tend to get rather antsy when waiting for a response to a question that you've asked one of your vendors. With Above & Beyond, I never felt that way because Christi always emailed me back right away! Additionally, all our other vendors (cake, venue, florist) were so happy to hear that our caterer was Above & Beyond because they were all familiar with them and knew how well they worked with everyone in town! On our wedding day, everything was perfect, including the catering. All our guests kept telling us how much they loved the food and the service! I'm so proud to say that I was an Above & Beyond Bride :) I hope that this review has helped you decide who to use as your caterer! Good luck with your planning process!!

I searched high and low to find this caterer and when I tried the mac and cheese, I was completely sold. They were incredibly helpful and offered the best value as well as advice on what I should book through them versus what I should go elsewhere for. They came out to our property ahead of time to finalize details and offer suggestions which was wonderful as I was planning the wedding from a distance. They were very responsive and patient with me during the entire process. The day of, they delivered a stellar performance and food. Everybody was commenting on how delicious it all was! Highly recommend!

My husband & I had three meetings with Above & Beyond Catering. Two of which were tastings & the third a final consult a few weeks before the wedding. We probably tried every last thing on the catering menu because we are so picky & indecisive but they were so great at accommodating our needs! They supplied us with "take home" boxes for the left over food once the wedding was over. They made "doggie bags" for my wonderful groom, as well as for my dad because they really enjoyed their whiskey roasted apple pork loin. They were so accommodating with our picky eating. Our venue was also two hours away from them & the food was piping hot when it arrived two hours prior to the reception! I would definitely recommend this catering company for any event!

I cannot say enough about Above and Beyond Catering. They are amazing. Christi was super helpful in planning and even offered to provide my centerpieces at no extra cost. My other vendors raved about how easy to work wish and professional the catering staff was. As a Mac & cheese junkie, I can honestly say they have the best Mac I have ever had. The free tasting and consult we attended was a lot of fun, and they packed up the leftovers to send with us. We served rosemary chicken, pot roast, roasted potatoes, a veggie medley, and mac and cheese for 95 guests at the reception. Everyone loved it! Several guests told me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Their pricing was impossible to beat in the area. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We could not be happier with this caterer!!! They bent over backwards to make a wonderful tasting for us. Then, when our venue notified us of their alcohol license change 3 WEEKS before the wedding, Above & Beyond took it in stride, calmed us down and took the hit on what we had contracted with them!!! This was all BEFORE we even had the event. A&B was so accomodating during the event set up that even our cake maker commented on how fabulously nice the A&B staff are! The food was delicious and we had a BUNCH of compliments and are still getting them. We should have paid A&B more for the therapy and reassurance they gave us the entire planning time.
