We had the American buffet for our NYE wedding. It was better than we expected! The charcuterie boards were beautiful, the sausage and marinara was delicious, as well as the Swedish meatballs and chicken wings. Honestly it was all amazing and our guests were extremely impressed. It was the perfect amount of food for a later ceremony and they kept it well stocked until it was obvious that things were slowing down. Highly recommend!

Everyone raved about the food and the staff were so nice and professional! Very easy to work with and the selections were amazing!

Abraham did our venue, catering, and bar service. From the beginning, Chad was so easy to work with. He helped make sure every detail was handled for me. The food was delicious, and staff at our event was phenomenal. Plates were cleared so fast and our guests were impressed. I would hire Chad and Abraham Catering again in a heartbeat! They were nothing short of amazing to work with.

We opted for a pasta bar and could have not made a better decision. Not only was it delicious but it gave our guests different options no matter their food preference.

Working with Abraham's and Chad for our wedding at One Thousand Dodge was very smooth and they are incredibly responsive. We were really happy with all of the food and service.

I was married at the Paxton on 10/25 of this year. Abraham’s catering was our vender- and they are FANTASTIC. The food was absolutely delicious, the set-up was perfect, they’re incredibly professional and very easy to work with, and all-in-all, what could have been the busiest, biggest mess of my life was smooth, flawless, and a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone at Abraham’s again for a perfect event and an incredibly fun night. If I need a caterer again in the future I will definitely be calling you!

Abraham's Catering was such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning of our conversations, to meal planning, meal tasting, and of course the wedding. They made every step of this process easy and stress-free. The food at our reception was truly a step of above, which I already expected from them given that the tasting was so good. The very best part though, was the unbelievable service that they delivered all night long! Would recommend them to anyone looking to make their wedding night truly memorable.

My husband and I used Abraham's Catering for our wedding reception. They were one of two options through our venue. I had been looking into them already anyway. I liked that they have so many different options for catering. We chose the taco bar. I didn't want traditional wedding food. I mostly worked with Chad and he was good to work with. Also had a little contact with Nancy at first and she was very helpful and pleasant. Overall cost on the taco bar was good. The prices for a lot of the other options were definitely out of our budget (part of why we didn't have something else). The food quality was very good. As we had a taco bar, I didn't interact with the wait staff much, but what I saw was professional.

Staff was friendly and the food was yummy. We did run out of food and had less guests than we planned but that is not necessarily the caterers fault. Some people could have taken a lot more than anticipated for an individual.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience with Abraham Catering has been! From our very first meeting to the follow up after the wedding, Hap, Ann, and their team could not have been more professional, punctual, or friendly! We appreciated that on our first meeting, Hap (the owner) met with us to get a sense of what we were looking for. He shared his experiences with us (not only as the owner but as a father who had catered his own daughters' weddings!) and treated us like we were his family when it came to our options and pricing. They were so accommodating in any request we made (they were willing to try a new recipe for a signature drink we loved) and were especially gracious in all communication as we had just had a death in the family. Among all of our vendors, they put us at ease the most - it is clear why they are the contracted caterer for so many premier venues in Omaha. Ann was so helpful in following up with us and making adjustments as needed - even sitting down with us in person to review our numbers and the many options and rentals we had listed. (They work with any rental company, but work most with United - we would recommend this pairing as the two worked seamlessly together!) The day-of staff were so helpful as well, putting my mother at ease about not only the plated dinners, but the cupcake station and nuts and mints that they were also in charge of refilling. Any questions we had were met with compassion and an openness I haven't seen with other vendors of this type - when we were curious about a process, they invited us behind the scenes to take a look. And this came not just from the senior staff - but also the high school servers. Every single person was outstanding, and truly made our event perfect!

They went above and beyond in everything! The food was top notch, the service was exceptional! All good things to say about them!

The food was amazing and the staff was so kind. They really take care of you and go out of their way as well. We had an issue with our cake creator, who was supposed to add our flowers to our cake but didn’t do so. Abraham catering took it upon themselves to place our flowers, without hesitation. They make your stressful day a little easier and I’m so happy we had them.

The best customer service I have ever encountered! Combined with amazing food, there is no better caterer in Omaha. We selected some custom recipes that they did not have on their catering menu, and they worked with us to make sure we had our perfect wedding menu. Kara was always quick to respond to emails, help us problem-solve issues, and accommodating to any of our requests or changes. Abraham Catering made our wedding day perfect, and I can not recommend them enough!

Abraham's Catering was wonderful to work with! Diane was always there to answer our questions and helped us through the process of picking our meal plan and food choices. The food at our wedding was SO GOOD. We had so many guests comment on it and say they loved it. I would definitely recommend them time and time again.

The food was SO good, and they were so easy to work with! In a single, 30-minute meeting we decided on table linens, dishes, bar necessities, timing, and literally everything they would take care of. We dumped a bunch of decorations at the venue in the morning and they arranged everything beautifully by the time we arrived for the reception. The bar service was great. And again, the food was amazing. Our guests were raving.

Abraham's Catering did a great job at my wedding last week! Chad is so easy to work with and he almost always responds to emails the same day, which is soooo important. Abraham's is very flexible and they will work with you to get the right combination for your needs. They were also very good about allergies and there were special plates made for our guests that had allergies. The serving staff was so friendly, and not a glass went empty! Oh, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our guests were talking about it for weeks!

Abraham Catering is really great to work with. They'll adapt their menu items to your needs/preferences and they'll give you take-home samples of anything you'd like to try.

We had a terrible experience with Abraham Catering at our wedding. We were planning our wedding long distance from NYC and had to come to Omaha for two food tastings due to the poor quality of the food served. Our concerns about the quality after the first tasting was not taken seriously by the venue and the representative from Abraham. After being guaranteed the food would be as ordered and of higher quality at the reception, we were sorely disappointed on our wedding day. The steaks were overcooked, too tough and served with a sauce that we had not agreed to. Our guests were also not provided steak knives to cut their steaks. Abraham made an effort to rectify the issue after the fact, but that it didn't make up for our guests being hungry on our wedding day.

Abraham Catering catered our wedding at One Thousand Dodge in April. The food was INCREDIBLE! We had guests coming up to us all night telling us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had! We went with the double entree buffet, and you really can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Everything was delicious, and the servers and bartenders were all very hard-working and attentive. Abraham is for sure the best catering company in Omaha!

We went with 1316 Jones Street for our venue, and they work exclusively with Abraham's, which we were happy with. They were great to work with: reasonably priced (as part of the per-person package through 1316), quick to respond to emails, and very professional and accommodating. We really liked the menu tasting presentation; it was one of the more enjoyable aspects of wedding planning. Highly recommended. 10/31/2015.

Worked with Abraham at Joslyn. Coordinator Gabi was organized and easy to work with. Servers were professional and food looked great. My only qualm is the entree dishes were merely okay. The food was better at the tasting, and the chicken was a little dry at the reception. They may have to cook the food off-site and bring it in, which makes keeping food moist and warm difficult. Still, I wished the food was just a little more inspired.

Hap Abraham was an amazing caterer to work with, the food was absolutely amazing, and they worked with us to tailor all the food, the appetizers, and the drinks to make it exactly what we wanted. They helped to create an amazing atmosphere for our guests. We specifically worked with Elizabeth J. throughout our entire wedding planning process and she was a dream to work with, she really did make it special and fun to plan all of our food and drink menu selections. When it came to the actual event, it was ran very smoothly, and all the guests said the food was amazing, and the price point was very reasonable. We cannot recommend them higher.

I can't even count how many people commented on how amazing all of the food at our wedding was! Throughout the night and the next few days our guests all raved about how delicious the food was. Many even mentioned it wasn't like "normal wedding chicken" that you usually see at weddings. The staff was amazingly easy to work with while planning our menu and service was amazing on the night of the wedding. Only bummer was that we didn't get to take the leftovers home with us (which we knew ahead of time, no big deal). Great food, great service!

We lived in DC so managing catering was very difficult for us. However, Abraham's catering gave us the best price for the amount of food and was very easy to work with. They were actually the best. Our food was amazing. Everyone loved it. I could not have been happier with our choice and I am so glad they helped make my wedding even more special than it was. Thank you so much Diane and Ann.

My guests were raving about the food!!! SO good! We had the two entree buffet with chicken fried chicken and almond crusted tilapia. Both options were a big hit! HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing food and service! We did the 2 entrée buffet for our wedding with the apricot chicken and the beef. But the mac & cheese stole the show - I had so many compliments on the food! The catering and bar staff were awesome and so very helpful. They went above and beyond in their service. When we had mix-ups with the cake/flower deliveries, they stepped up and fixed everything before I even noticed anything went wrong - exactly what you want on your wedding day.

Guests from our wedding are still raving about the food! From the appetizers to the dinner, everything was so good. We had a tasting prior to the wedding so we knew that it was going to be good but holy smokes! Dawn was so helpful and great to work with!

I recently got married on 9/19/15 and had Hap Abraham cater my event. My husband and I went in for our tasting and were amazed with their options and serving sizes. We definitely were impressed !! Their staff were all so professional and we got a lot of compliments about both the food and the staff from our wedding guests. I definitely recommend Hap Abraham to anyone looking for a caterer.

Planning for a budget-friendly wedding dinner can be tough, but Abraham catering made it easy. My fiance and I ended up serving our hometown wedding dinner staples - pulled beef sandwiches and fried chicken. The chicken was perfect! We received many compliments on the quality and amount of food.

I heard good things about caterer & a few of the guests said the beef and meatballs were their favorite. However my hubby and I didn't get to taste any of it since it was all picked up 2 hours after our start time, which is disappointing since it was a hors d'eouvres only reception. I guess I expected it to be out longer. Make sure to have someone have you a plate.

Delicious food served to perfection!! We and our guest absolutely loved the food! It had such great flavor, it was fresh and hot throughout the dinner time, and the servers were there to meet everyone's need. Buffet style really worked out well for us and presentation was perfect!

The food was fantastic!! Our wedding vendor only uses Abraham so we were taking a chance. Our food tasting wasn't too spectacular, pretty standard food. The food the night of the wedding was so much better than what we had tasted! We were completely satisfied!

This caterer was required by my venue, 1316 Jones St., which made the decisions so easy. I didn't have to stress over price matching or tasting or worrying over a contract, since it was all done for me. The food was phenomenal. They give a variety of options for number of items in your buffet or seated dinner, and have quality gourmet food to choose from. All of our guests were pleased with the meal and left feeling full and satisfied.

We loved the food just from the start when we first had our tasting. My husband and I went with his parents and they had full meals for us to try. We were impressed from the start. We had buffet set up for dinner and it was great. I was hesitant about having a buffet for our wedding but our venue wasn't equipped for sit down dinner of 300. Hap did such an amazing job. Everyone loved the food. The chicken was absolutely delicious! The beef was so tender and wasn't dry. All of the side dishes were great. We were very pleased with the customer service as well as the food. Hap even created a hot chocolate bar for me and it was great!

This was the catering company that came with our venue but I couldn't have asked for better food or service! The price was great and they had several options to choose from!

The food was mouth watering delicious. When you go for the tasting, the food that they give you is bland, but they can add more flavor and seasoning if you like. When we told them we wanted that, the food came out great. Everyone loved it. Excellent waiter/waitress staff.

The food at our reception received rave reviews from many of our guests! We went with a couple of safe choices with chicken, roast beef (with the carving station), salads, etc. and multiple people actually thought the roast beef was prime rib. Everything was set up on time, looking beautiful and tasted even better. We have no complaints! The cost per plate was one of the most reasonable, if not the most reasonable, prices I saw when reviewing potential venues/caterer.

Abraham's was really great to work with for the catering of my wedding. Because our reception was at a place that only provided tables, they also took care of all of our rentals (linens, place settings, etc) which was a huge burden that I didn't have to deal with. They kept me updated as things progressed and provided an amazing meal at the reception. I highly recommend them!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Abraham Catering for our wedding. They were always helpful with questions I had, gave us a sample of our dinner menu, and willingly worked with our ice cream company for the reception. The food at the reception was delicious and the staff very courteous and friendly. I only have two things I didn't appreciate as much. One, with their service they cleared away all of our drinks very quickly - even the champagne we had paid for separately was gone before I could finish half a glass! There was no water on the tables for guests and if you set your drink down it would be gone in moments. Two, the mashed potatoes were pretty solid when I scooped them on my plate and I almost had to cut them to eat. I did enjoy working with them and if you are looking for a caterer in Omaha definitely check them out!

I didn't have a choice in which caterer to use, since my venue required Abraham. This ended up not being a problem at all! Abraham catering would be a caterer I would have chosen even if I did have a choice! Mimi was absolutely amazing to work with. She was an expert in helping us choose what would be best for our guests. She suggested food choices that are popular and let us taste everything we were going to order for our guests. We decided to try more than one entree, since we could not decide between two, which she was more than happy to accommodate. Finally, the food turned out amazing. Without our notice, we did not have the same garlic mashed potatoes served at our wedding as we had tasted and been promised, but the majority of guests were pleased with the quality of the food. The overall price ended up being more than we had anticipated, and it was frustrating paying for guests even if they didn't attend the wedding, but I still would strongly recommend Abraham's for a catering company. Ask for Mimi! She is amazing.

The food was great everyone loved it but I thought the roast beef was a bit salty.

They are the exclusive vendor for the Paxton Ballroom so we had to use them. One less decision! The buffet we had was very good, but nothing special. However, our our guests did rave about the lemon herb chicken. I ate and had no complaints. We did the all inclusive package at the Paxton so I'm not sure how their regular catering price compares.
