n at least a weekly basis, I'm not lying. We got SO MANY compliments on the food in addition to the service by the servers, the service on wedding day was incredible.
However, the issues we had with Absolute took place well before wedding day. We had a lot of trouble getting ahold of the event coordinator every time we reached out. Communication was really rough - several emails weren't responded to, there wasn't ever really a plan of action in terms of when we needed final numbers in or how often to expect them to check in with us, little to no notice as to when she wanted payment, it really just seemed so transactional and bossy. She never introduced herself to us on wedding day, was in and out without saying anything to us.
Even though the food was truly incredible, we decided to rate this vendor 3 of 5 stars due to the event coordinator Tasha's lack of communication and honestly, lack of respect for us as a couple and looking at us as an opportunity to make money. Felt very transactional and not personal at all.

serving staff at the event was friendly and professional. Our one complaint is that one of the side dishes served at our reception was not the same as what we selected at our tasting. The glaze was different, which changed the dish; that was a little disappointing. Overall, we had a positive experience and would happily recommend Absolute Custom Catering to other couples!

ch one and love them all so naturally we figured Absolute Custom Catering would be no different. Right away from the beginning we had issues with the catering director responding to my emails, which resulted in her missing our initial consultation. It then took her another week to reach out and try to reschedule. Eventually, we finally met with her, all seemed to be good. Then after some time of us going through the menu and making decisions, I wrote to her via email to set up a time to do a tasting and to finalize our menu. After 9 days of no response, I reached out to our venue coordinator, who then reached out to the catering director at Absolute. The venue coordinator reached out to Absolute to inform that that we were considering switching if we didn't hear from them shortly and I was assured that someone from Absolute would be in contact with me that day. After an additional two days, of hearing nothing from Absolute, the venue coordinator reached out to check in and make sure that someone contacted us. I informed her that we still had not heard anything and would no longer be working with Absolute. We never once heard anything from them, not even so much as an apology. I have no problem taking my business to their competitor. Additionally, we will no longer be customers at any of their other restaurants after this.
