I think I emailed Leslye about a million times the week before the wedding and she was always quick to respond and answer all of my questions. My husband and I had a Harry Potter themed wedding and these guys ran with it - it was amazing. Down to the finest details, our reception was set up to look like Hogwarts. We made all of the center pieces on the tables ourselves, but APC helped set up and also went above and beyond to provide extra details and decorations that we didn't even know about until the reception (they set up a freaking gargoyle on the hors d'oeuvres table!). We didn't have a wedding cake, so they made us a tower of donuts to sit our cake topper in which we used as a cutting cake. We had mousse shooters for our desserts which were stuck on a wall to look like they were floating and they made Harry Potter themed signs for us. The bartenders and servers they provided were excellent as well - they even made sure we had drinks waiting for us at our table after our entrance! I was blown away by the effort they put in and would recommend them over and over for any event!!

pricing structure. We had a discussion with their owner to negotiate a not to exceed price. We then signed the contract based on that price. After having paid a large deposit the overall price continued to climb, exceeding our initial agreed upon amount. The unanticipated price increases were often tied to various items that we thought should have been included in the initial negotiated quote. Despite this, we were definitely happy with their service and our review is that they did a fantastic job catering our wedding.

d related. Sarah helped us through the entire process and she is a huge blessing. From our first meeting with Sarah, we knew that APC was perfect for us. She helped us to craft a menu that we wanted and had an incredibly flexible bar option that allowed us to buy our alcohol from a specific dealer and then return anything people did use. This helped us to keep the cost down. The staff the day of our wedding were amazing. From the welcome drink of prosecco to the charcuterie board to the place settings, they enabled us to have a beautiful and fun wedding. Sarah helped us find the perfect color linen for the table after I couldn't find what I wanted in their samples. She brought in samples and let me look at lots of options. The chef even prepared a few recipes that I wanted that weren't on their menu suggestions! ABC also makes desserts and cakes. We ended up going with another company but ABC created a beautiful cupcake display for us and cut our cake for free. They are extremely flexible and can make or do anything you ask. Pick ABC and you won't regret it. They make everything so easy and are there throughout the entire planning process and day of!

Calling them a caterer makes it sound like all they handle is food (and boy, do they know how to handle food!), but they covered so much more—our bars, rentals, linens, set-up for our ceremony, flipping for the reception, servers, etc, etc. They were really a one-stop shop for our biggest wedding needs. The menu tasting was super helpful and all of the food they made was delicious! I was so excited about our menu and our guests LOVED it! They even fit in my favorite—mac and cheese! Sarah, Stephany, and Amber made sure that our day was magical and every little detail was taken care of. Even when there was an unfortunate medical emergency during our reception, they handled everything with compassion and professionalism. I honestly could go on and on about how amazing their service was and am incredibly thankful they were a part of our wedding day team! Thank you, APC!

to seeing our first suggested menu, Sarah Lynch and APC were a dream to work with. APC was the first caterer I had spoken with that actually left me feeling confident to proceed from the get-go. Sarah really understood the vibe we were going after for our Friday Night Wedding, and made perfect suggestions. Contract and Pricing was very transparent and honest from the start, and I appreciate that they actually itemized cost on the price review. APC would also make dishes not on their immediate radar (as we had them make our candied brussel sprouts), which, hi, real chefs! During Planning, Sarah Lynch could not have been easier to work with, but where APC probably shined the most was during their Preview event in February that allowed you to go to their kitchen, meet the staff, see the decor, taste a ton of food, and really experience their brand of catering, all in their decked out warehouse.. If my husband hadn’t been on board from the menu, he was really excited and pleased after the open house. APC also created our Event Layout, for both good and bad weather, and provided very detailed and helpful planning documents! Day-of, they were prompt and quick to setup tables, and also made sure our outside seating was ready to go for our short rehearsal time window. They cleaned-up even faster, somehow. Both of which were important as our venue (the Museum of Industry) has limited setup/clean-out time. Their Decor is truly a step-above with arrangement and props. They blended right in with the Dock-vibe behind their buffet tables, and our guests commented on how seamless our tables flowed. Everyone loved our food! We had people who wish they could buy tubs of the Spinach Artichoke Dip, and lots of raves for the Pizza Dip! Our menu was a more “Summer Modern” plate featuring Pretzel Chicken and Marinated Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, Mesculun Salad with Granny Smith Apples + Goat Cheese, Candied Bacon, and Jeweled Rice. We had compliments all night about the food and service. APC Servers were friendly and fun, which is a weird note, but you wouldn’t believe how many weddings I go to with dead-pan staff. Our guests really warmed up to everything quickly, and the bartenders were THE BEST. We heard compliments all night on the bar staff, who served our 2 signature drinks like bosses, and were ready to pour or sampling Whiskey. I just couldn’t believe how customized we could create our bar menu and how well the APC bartenders performed. Unexpectedly Awesome: We provided our own alcohol but the APC staff was amazing and separated our leftover liquor into 2 containers: 1 with open bottles, 1 with unopened bottles + unopened cases. They were NOT stingy with pouring and were completely on top of their game. The Servers also set aside a piece of Candied Bacon for us for our main plate, as well as basically all our menu items so we could get a taste! We basically had a dedicated server who was always sure we had a drink in hand, AND water for after the ceremony for our party (that was amazing and very appreciated). We got to dine first, followed by our table. NO LINES! Everyone ate in a timely manner and our Vegetarian/Vegans loved their Plate. A++ To Sarah Lynch and the APC Team!

taken care of. Looking back things went wrong, my florist was to set-up something they didn't and without missing a beat Absolutely Perfect stepped up. Someone fell and I had no idea, the catering staff bandaged him up and he hung out the rest of the night. They brought drinks to the wedding party while we did photos and most of all ... MADE SURE WE HAD FOOD AND DRINKS. Everyone raved about the appetizers (go tuna!), entrees, and the dessert assortment (milk and cookie shots were gone seconds after they came out!). The atmosphere they created along with the food and service made my wedding day run perfect.... absolutely perfect.

Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI) to hold the Wedding reception. At that time, BMI only had normal folding chairs for the event. APC said they would include the subcontracting of a better chair and linens in our contract. Our initial estimate was for 150 guests but was told that APC would work with us if the numbers changed. What the owner should have said ‘if the number of guests increase’. After revisiting the BMI with our own planner, BMI said they bought new chairs and we could use them for $300. When I contacted APC 7 weeks before our event to cancel the subcontract for the rental of chairs, I was told, by the APC owner, that the subcontractor would still charge me full price as a cancellation fee. I just stayed with the APC chair rental at an additional cost of $300+. After meeting with the APC owner to select the linens, we were disappointed with her attitude and linen selection. This was my daughter’s email,’ But it's just something else that doesn't make me feel important to the company ’. Our own planner provided us with a better linens selection that was an upgrade to what APC showed us. Deciding to use the better linens, I contacted APC 6 weeks before the event to cancel the linens from the subcontractor. APC said that the original contract was for linens to service the 150 guests, and again I would have to pay the full fee, around $600, to cancel that order. Having personally cancelled other rental equipment well before I need them, there was never a 100% cancellation fee. Since you are usually arranging this about a year in advance, in general and for sure for APC, know what you want, put the minimum in the original contract because the caterers are always ready to add additional guests and services. I will say that the actual catering of the wedding reception was very good. I had many compliments on the quality of the food and the responsiveness of the servers. Since the guest list grew to over 180 guests, dinner service was a little slow but I would say close to acceptable.

ned out. I’ve never been to a wedding where all of the food tables were decorated so tastefully and it fit our theme perfectly. It was such a nice touch and made it feel so unique and personal. No boring table with silver buffet trays lined up in a row. Hah! We received so many compliments from everyone on display to the actual taste of the food. The food was delicious and several people said it was the best food they've had at a wedding and how they didn't have to go home hungry for once! We had an ice cream bar, which everyone loved... especially since it was near 90 degrees that day. It was such a fun alternative to the cake and there were tons of toppings for people to create their own sundaes. APC helps with SO much of your planning leading up to the day from the food and decor (obviously) to a timeline. Very helpful! My husband and I did gripe about the cost at times, but after seeing how flawlessly and beautifully everything came together, it made perfect sense. Would highly recommend APC!

in reading this review bear in mind that I was happy very happy with my experience, but I'm going to cut to the thick of it and just list the food for thought (let me emphasize one more time how beautiful the food was!!!). The main thing I was unhappy with is that the original quote they give you as the amount you owe is misleading. I was told that the original statement would be the cost of my catering as long as my guest count remained unchanged and I made no changes. This is not the case. The original quote will be a low-ball for the number of staff you'll need and will also not include many of the rentals that are standard at a wedding (ex: the head table...) That would be fine...except they wait until roughly 1-2 months before your wedding (after you've already paid your initial balance and what you thought would be the total...) This bumped my total up roughly an additional $2500-3000. We also had several complaints that the food was cold. To this we felt wasn't THAT big of a deal because it was a buffet. Food on top of the dishes does tend to get a little bit chilled. Our final issue was that during our champagne toast, a guest found a piece of foil in their glass from the top of the champagne wrapper. He presented it to a server and asked for a new glass. The server poured the champagne out, fished the metal out, and refilled the glass partially. It would of been nice (and more sanitary) for them to get a new glass and refill it to the original amount (especially since the wedding ended with 7 bottles of champagne remaining, so there was not shortage). We chose to upgrade our menu to an Asian-fusion style menu not commonly seen at weddings and 99.9% of the dish ideas were all Kim. She really thought outside the box and the taste, presentation, and uniqueness of the spread was something that countless guests have commented on. Kim really goes above and beyond from her communication with you to pulling for you to get changes made when you need them. There was also a "bride's assistant" staff member who was absolutely AMAZING. (Stephen?) He was fun, helped my friends and I relax, fixed my bustle when it broke, ran to the bridal suite when I forgot my bouquet (seconds before I walked down the aisle), and arranged flower petals, candles, snacks (including fruit from my buffet and wedding cake) in the bridal suite before my husband and I got there at the end of the night. I cannot express how good this guy was at his job.

always made sure that I was never stress out and made sure I had everything I need. She was not sure if she would personal be able to be at my wedding on June 30 but she was. I was so surprise to see her there. Anything I needed on my big day she was right there to make sure I had it. If I ever have another big even I will make sure I use them again.

...probably too long of a name... but still :) If you want to do something fun and creative. Not the standard meat and some potato/veggie side dish. These are your people!!! They are incredible. I wanted a country chic style wedding with sliders, chicken/mozzarella sliders, strawberry salad, mac and cheese, etc.... and I got it. You can tell them what every you want, and they will create it. Everything was seriously delicious and incredible. Kimberly, who was our event coordinator, was out of this world. Ask for her if you can! She is the best, so quick to respond, so fun, and so professional, she knows her stuff! Even when I got a little crazy with ideas, she was right on the same page with me. I can't say enough good things about her, shes just amazing. If you are in search of a Caterer, seriously set up a meeting with these guys. You will not regret it. We talked with a few caterer's before we found them, and no one came even close to them. When you go to your first tasting with them, you will feel very special. The prices were actually very impressive as well. Most Caterer's were about 50 something a person, they are about 30 something a person, and the kiddos were alot less. :) They will set up everything for you and clean up everything for you. They got it down to a science. Your event coordinator will make sure everything runs exactly how you hope it will. Even if you want appetizer's in your limo, just you can try them.. Kim came over outside, in the pouring rain and gave us the best crab dip we have ever had. Amazing, just Absolutely Perfect! Good Luck with the Wedding!

tely Prefect was that from the moment we met, they made us feel like they wanted us to agree to use them. This was not a "soft push" like you get from an automobile salesman, but a "hard drive," including pointed questions about our plans and whereabouts that weekend (in an effort to sniff out the competition). They really made us feel uncomfortable. When we tried to deflect the questions about their competition, they pressed harder. They would not provide us with a tasting menu of the food we requested unless we paid them $50 but they were willing to give us a small sampling. We didn't taste that much of their food, but what we tasted was very good, met our dietary requirements, and their chef was very nice. However, as an example of the pressure to sign, their price quote was only valid for four hours after the tasting. When we negotiated for more time to compare with other vendors, they countered with the day was filling up and they needed a decision within three days. Although the date was presumably filling up for all the caterers in Baltimore, it was only this caterer that tried to use that fact as leverage. All in all, we felt that they would have added a lot of unnecessary stress to out wedding day and we decided to go with another caterer who was fabulous.

they had never had such good food at a wedding, the filet was perfectly cooked and juicy and the crab cakes were to die for. One of my guests managed to walk around and get his hands on three more crab cakes from guests that did not eat shellfish! (That's how good they were.) Throughout the wedding, Sarah was there to help me. She wasn't hired as a wedding planner, but she sure acted like she was. She made sure everything was set up and ready, she worked with the DJ to make last second changes to the timeline to make things run more smoothly, and she brought food and wine out to the groom and me as we had our pictures taken during cocktail hour. She had a smile on her face the entire time and she was wonderful to work with. I will be recommending this caterer to anyone I know ever catering an event. On a day fraught with problems from the weather, and the venue (see my other reviews), Sarah treated us like we were special and the most important people at that moment in time. Thank you!

ey've ever been to. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY and the crabcakes were the best I've ever had. The Hors D'oeuvres were AMAZING. Shawn took care of us the entire evening. He made sure we were always comfortable and happy. I can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend them hundreds of times over.
