as delicious ! Their staff went above and beyond in helping out. Very attentive to everyone. During cocktail hour they're was always a new plate of food to try! We had a buffet styled dinner and they made sure everyone had fresh cold water. They kept bringing my husband and I refills from the Bar. Even carried our plates from the Buffet to our Sweetheart table. Made us feel like royalty! They had everything cleaned up super quick, they even took down the chairs from our ceremony. Everything was super easy with them! All of my guests kept raving about how the food and staff was amazing which makes me super happy knowing everyone had a great time. I think my favorite part was that a staff boxed up food for my Husband and I to take. We were so hungry from all of the events of the day, so it was the best to be able to eat more of their delicious food and share just the two of us. Thank you so much Act 3 for being part of our special day !

bummer about this catering service is that we couldn't have a staff member stay for the dinner due to covid so I was constantly stressed about making sure the food trays weren't empty as people go through the buffet line. But all in all, great food, reasonable price.

go, and I rolled out of that place delightedly stuffed - everything I could have hoped for! We are having a gourmet ravioli bar with 3 different flavors of stuffing and sauces and honestly, I wish I could have this meal on repeat at least once a week for the rest of my life. Another important detail! I had previously put in my deposit before I even had a chance to taste (this was way back in 2019 before COVID was in our lingo). I was worried I wouldn't find another place with such bountiful vegetarian options so I wanted to lock them in, and they didn't disappoint! So for all you newly engaged couples trying to plan amidst all this craziness, you can trust you are in good hands when you book through ACT 3! We had to postpone our wedding due to the current climate, and they made rescheduling a breeze. Literally took not even half an hour for an email response & contract with my new date on it. ACT 3 will work their hardest to get the customer what they need every time, and you should DEFINITELY book them. Also, if you need ANOTHER reason to book them, they're incredibly well-priced. Couldn't find a better deal anywhere!

Victoria was our main girl the day of our wedding and she was so on point with making sure we were fed and enjoying ourselves. The bartenders and the staff serving dinner were all great as well. THE FOOD. The reviews I read prior to booking all talked about how amazing the food was and that is no lie! We had 3 tray passed appetizers during cocktail hour - veggie baked stuffed mushrooms, bulgogi beef skewers with kimchi and coconut prawns and all of our guests LOVED it. We did a family style dinner for each table and I was very impressed at how organized the staff were when serving the food. We still receive compliments on how yummy the food was at our wedding. The champagne chicken was cooked perfectly! ACT 3 has amazing service and they are very affordable! We had a guest count of 270 + feeding our working vendors that night! THANK YOU, Markelle & team!

She made sure we had drinks all night and would check in periodically to let us know their timeline and make sure we had whatever we needed. The food is also delicious! Our wedding food was just as wonderful as we remembered from our tasting. Our guests are still raving about our passed appetizers and dinner three weeks after our wedding! The entire ACT 3 team is amazing. The staff really went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. They are friendly and accommodating, and made sure our guests were taken care of, which was very important to us. The services we received include buffet style dinner, passed appetizers, and full bar services. ACT 3's display of our buffet was also very beautiful and elegant, contributing to the look and feel we were hoping for with our decor. We highly recommend ACT 3 Catering and wouldn't change a thing about the services they provided for our wedding.

When we selected ACT 3 as our caterer, the cost of the tasting was put towards our final balance, which was nice compared to other caterers who would only do so for extremely large events. The food was amazing. Our wedding venue didn’t have a full kitchen, so the food was made in shop and reheated at our location. I was worried about a couple of items holding up during the transport from Tukwila to Bellevue, but I was blown away; everything held up great. Their staff was very attentive and friendly, which was noted by us and mentioned to us by a number of our guests. The wait staff offered to get us extra plates of food while we were making the rounds to converse with our guests. When we returned to the head table, the sides and desserts we requested were there waiting for us! They even created us personalized wedding meals at the end of the night to take home. During our bar hour we were so busy saying hello to our guests that we completely missed our cheese table before it had been picked clean. When we opened our take home meals, we discovered one of the boxes was a sample of everything from the cheese table. It was the small things like this that made our experience so great with ACT 3.

us, my husband and I were given "goody bags" full of leftovers that we ate happily in bed after getting into our hotel after the big night. Just a nice personal touch that shows how much thought and care goes into every event they cater.

d cheese, baked beans, and dinner rolls. Everything was exceptional. What really sold us were the BBQ ribs. At the tasting they were amazing, absolutely delicious. They tasted as good or even better on the day of our wedding when served to 150 people. My family complimented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Along with the great food, they had excellent service. They had plates ready for us as soon as we sat down for our reception. Many couples complain about not being able to eat at their own wedding, but Act 3 made sure we got our fill. Also, throughout the night, they would bring us our favorite drinks so we didn’t need to stop socializing. They were also attentive to our guests. They were quick to clear plates and there was never a line at the bar! We are so thankful for Act 3 and would highly recommend them to anyone asking.

incredibly talented at what she does and the chef, wait staff and bar tender were top notch! We took advantage of their private tasting, where they served us our choices off their menu. It was so hard to choose everything was delicious. They truly made us feel special when the chef came out to personally talk about the food we had chosen. It was a really nice touch. We are so happy we chose them, they served our guest a delicious meal from tip to tail. They were attentive and professional from planning to service, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I have a dairy allergy and brought my own sour cream to have with the tacos which they promptly placed in it's own nice bowl with the other food so that it didn't look out of place. They also made sure to point it out to me as I was going through the line, which was addition because everything was clearly labeled-- so great! My husband and I have never felt more regal and more attended to than on that day! We got our food and the lead waitress took our plates and put them down at our table while we greeted guests. They then made sure that we actually got to have time to relax and eat our food, AND when our plates were empty, they asked us if we wanted more and went to refill them with our requests! They also had wine waiting for us after the ceremony, refilled our beverages during dinner, AND got us dessert and refills while we were on the dance floor. I mean, could it have been better? I think not. The whole day went off without a hitch and Act 3 was a huge part of that.

date onion and gluten allergies. Emily often apologized for asking several questions, but it put me at ease knowing that I wasn’t the only one thinking of all these things (as I am a control freak). She was so thorough and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about working with her. On the day of, the staff showed up early/on time (unsure as I was off taking pictures) and immediately got to work. Then, as we were taking a brief break from pictures, Marla, the event manager found us and served us water. She did this half a dozen more times throughout the event- it was so amazing and helpful! That level of care was so unexpected, but incredibly appreciated. All staff members were incredibly attentive to us, making sure we always had a beverage if wanted.They offered to make our plates at the buffet, but we passed on that (as I was not sure of how much I could eat - nerves). They did carry our plates to our table, which was helpful for me in my gown. The buffet was beautifully decorated and all dishes were labeled, especially the ones that said “onion free.” My groom said that their champagne chicken was the best chicken he’s ever had. While I didn’t eat much at the actual ceremony, due to nerves and adrenaline, the food was DELICIOUS. I know this because Act 3 created a to go bag for me and my groom. Two entrees, salad, dressing, Parmesan, rolls (with butter), huge helping of cake, napkins, plates, and silverware. It was so generous and perfect for me as I was starving when I got back to the hotel at the end of the night. At the end of the wedding, Act 3 went above and beyond to help our other event staff tear down/clean up the room. I was surprised that they hung around to help with everything and not just their own tables. It was awesome. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Thank you, Act 3 for playing your part exquisitely in our big day.

Throughout dinner and dancing they constantly rounded on us to ensure our needs were being met which was awesome. The buffet and decor was beautifully set up and one of the staff made a plate for me. They were great with set up and take down and everyone was very polite and attentive. The gave us all the left over food Togo and even made a special bag of to go food for just the hubby and I with the food and desserts it was really nice to have the morning after. I would define you recommend them as your vendor for catering!

She was always super quick to respond and kind when she did. We were lucky to have her! Our family and guests are still talking about the food and how delicious it was but they're also still buzzing about the service. How kind and helpful the staff all were and how hard they were all working nonstop to make sure everything was clean and that everyone had full glasses. There were two things that were totally unexpected but blew our expectations out of the water. The first was the gorgeous buffet display. They took our theme and our colors and created the most beautiful display in the great room in our venue. It was such a wonderful surprise. The second was that my husband and I had our own "personal assistant" who also assisted our parents the entire night. She was so sweet and helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. It made us feel so special. We absolutely 100% recommend them!!

he food was delicious, although the steak we tried during our tasting did not taste like the steak we had at the actual wedding. My guests went up to get seconds and the servers told them to leave their plates at the table and that we had enough plates for everyone to have seconds. Well, we eventually ran out of plates and people were not allowed seconds, my father-in-law (groom’s father) was denied seconds. Then there was an issue with the food left over. I paid for approximately 200 guests, but only about 175 showed up. We were told prior to the wedding that they would make extra food so that if people wanted seconds, we wouldn’t run out. You would think with the servers denying guests seconds that I would have ample food left over. My husband and I got 1 to go box each with a piece of salmon, a few pieces of asparagus and a few spoonfuls of loaded potatoes. And I can tell you right now that we had a TON of leftovers. I honestly would have rated them a 1 had it not been for Markelle, the gal who had set us up from the very beginning and for the food itself. Otherwise I was very disappointed with the service and how my guests were treated.

Outside of the food the whole Act3 team was great. They fully owned the set up and decoration of the serving tables as well as set up of each place setting. They had many options when it came to table linens, napkins, and set up style. What really blew us away was the day of wedding team that was on site. They went above and beyond for us and all of our guests. The lead team member on site personally took care of our plates and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening. It was such a nice/unexpected touch that made us feel even more special. Huge thank you to the whole Act3 team and we fully recommend them to any couple looking to work with a top to bottom great catering company.

They offer for a reasonable price to do something called table settings pre-set which includes setting the silverware and napkins on the tables to really give it that refined look. Overall the service was great and as far as the food went, it was truly a hit with the guests.

was absolutely delicious. We had the Pacific Rim buffet and received many compliments about the food. Finally, the service provided during our wedding reception was remarkable. The servers were friendly and attentive- at one point, one of them even took the initiative to bring me water after a particularly rigorous dance session. Overall a wonderful experience that helped make our wedding completely magical.

get everything we wanted within our price range. We met with a few other caterers before meeting with Act 3 and the experience we had with them far exceeded the meetings with the other caterers. They are very honest, professional and upfront with all of their prices and the wide variety of options they offer. They were a very important aspect of the wedding and it would not have been as special without all of the hard work they put into making our day great.

I've never felt more personally catered to! The food itself was amazing and something my guests kept talking to me about afterwards! I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed!

rdinator. At that time I specifically requested the gold rimmed plates. My contract states so. I purposefully selected these plates because my entire theme was white and gold. The plates I got were plane jane white! Huge disappointment especially since we paid an extra arm and leg for the gold flatware to match it!!! Beyond disappointed and truly believe the cost of the flat war should be refunded. I wouldn't have wanted it if I went with plane plates but I asked for the gold rim. Also deeply disappointed in the communication. I received an email more than 14 days prior to my wedding at 10:30am stating a head count was needed by 2pm that day. No one tried to call me, my mother, or my coordinator. My contract stated this information was due 14 days prior. My cell at the time could only make and receive calls so the email wasn't found until 6pm. When attempts were made to contact them the next day the gal in charge of my account, who had emailed me, was not in the office or available! What a joke and unnecessary heart attack! Three and a half hours to respond with a head count? More than the 14 day contract stipulation? Wasn't available, no extra attempts made to contact us. Needless to say I would not recommend this company to anyone solely based on management. However the food was good and the staff that worked the venue the day of our wedding were above and beyond amazing! Very attentive to detail and possible needs. Your staff makes you look good in their hard work to prep/make food and serve your clients. Step up your act Act 3 in management and guarantee the service your contracts state along with improving your level of communication! If it hadn't been so close to my actual wedding day, when that email was sent, I would've dropped your services. I honestly considered it at the time. Just terrible.

It was such a special touch that she made sure I was taken care of. The bartender quickly learned what my drink of choice was and if he saw me coming- he had my drink ready to go! Guests commented how wonderful the food was all night long and even now! Food for a large group is expensive, but ACT III makes everything worthwhile. They are very easy to work with- our guest count changed from when we booked to when we needed to give the final number; I appreciate that ACT III gives you the flexibility to make changes. Other caterers wanted us to be locked in to a number 1 year out! And then upcharged you if you changed. ACT III understands weddings and events; they were helpful and courteous and delicious!!!

your own menu ideas. They do a pretty good job of setting the tables and decorating the buffet table to your wedding colors. It's nice that they have connections with a good priced linens supplier, so I didn't have to find a supplier to rent from on my own, one less bill. The coordinator I worked with was very helpful, though a little unavailable during the very busy wedding season. The service was great, and the servers made sure my husband and I sat down and actually enjoyed our food. We got a lot of compliments on the meal. One complaint we did get from guests though was that their wine/beer glasses were taken away when they were almost all full.

et, but was delicious! My husband and I are wedding photographers, so we eat a LOT of wedding food. Some is great, but some is not. THIS was the best. The salad was not soggy and the food was HOT! Both two things that were very important to us. Besides doing the catering, they set the tables and cleaned them off. It really saved a lot of work for us and our families! We would hire them again in an instant! So great!

However, Act 3 was a little on the pricy side (costing us a total of over $6,000.00) we were very pleased with the presentation, professionalism, and service we received from the catering on our wedding day.

"Highs and lows" and adding in touches of the wedding colors. The lead and his assistants at the wedding, were very attentive and provided excellent service to our outdoor wedding. Act 3 is great for such an event, in that everything is self-contained and the staff can function as a totally independent unit. Very pleasant and professional staff, who are non intrusive during the festivities, while continuing to make sure that things run smoothly. Donna is more than willing to help with recommendations for additional needs(such as a bakery or event rentals) to make your special day come together.

And, to top it off, whoever said you don't eat at your own wedding was wrong! They MADE SURE we got to eat during the reception (even being so kind as to carry my plate for me so that I wouldn't risk getting my dress dirty!) AND we got to take leftovers in the limo on our way out. So great.

prime rib was a HUGE hit! It was the most tender and succulent prime rib that we have ever enjoyed! A perfect medium rare! My husband said the horseradish was the best he had ever had as well. The food was delicious and our guests were very pleased. I would say though that they did clean up the buffet a little too early. Some guests hadn't had an opportunity to get any prime rib because they were going to come back for it when they brought the next round out from the back. But overall, so very pleased with the level of service provided by Act 3. Shall I ever want to throw a party or have an event catered, I would definitely come to ACT 3 first. Thank you!

Act 3 even threw in extras like free linens and free trash removal! We got to take the extra food home after the wedding and they boxed it all up for us. We froze and ate it for weeks after! Not only do I recommend Act 3, I think they are a MUST for the bridal couple looking for a well priced, yummy cater!! :)

food that was a good representation of the Pacific Northwest. Act 3 by far had the best selection of options. They have a service where you can pick what you want on the buffet - we had things like crab cakes, smoked salmon, and crab and artichoke dip, along with a bit more standard fare for those not into seafood. The food was delicious and the guests loved it. The have a variety of options for the alcohol service. We ended up purchasing our own beer, wine, and champagne and had Act 3 serve it (they provided the licensed bartender). We also did some extra rentals through Act 3 (cocktail tables, linens, the cake display table), which made things easier on us. Day of the wedding, they arrived on time and did all the setup without needing to bother me at all, and with only a couple of questions for my mom. It was a fun process, from the tasting (they gave us enough samples that it was a full meal!) to the ceremony. One bummer was that they forgot to serve one of the desserts, which had to stay refrigerated until the reception began, but that's not a big deal. The staff set aside big plates of food for me and my husband, and made a point of coming up to us from time to time to see if we needed anything to drink, more food, or anything else.

edding and the women I worked with prior to the wedding never got made that I changed the menu like 7 times. I also changed the alcohol plan several times and everyone was super patient and nice about it. The food (beef strogonoff) was delicious when we went to the tasting, but I hate to admit it tasted nothing like the tasting at the wedding. I kind of anticipated this but I was still a little disappointed because they reassured me that it would taste exactly the same at the tasting. If anyone reading this has eaten bad beef strogonoff, you know why I was concerned. It was just a bit bland, but hey when you are cooking for 100 people, thats what happens. However, everything else made up for this. All the other food was great and people were raving about the wild greens salad, the house punch, and I personally really liked the rustic hearth bread.

or our first meeting. The chef is nice and has a great sense of humor. Her food is perfect too. Donna met with us at the venue to discuss where stuff could go and we took a look around with her. We needed to decorate the tables the night before and they let up pick up the table clothes the day before that. We had our ceremony and reception in the same room, so after the ceremony we had to move tables. The caterers help with this and were very fast. They then set the glasses, napkins, and silverware on the tables. It was as if you blinked the poof everything was ready! The servers were quick to clear items you were finished with and they would bring you drinks if you liked. For the champagne toast they passed out the drinks. They also passed out the cupcakes we had for dessert. We had a buffet dinner and if someone needed help with their plate one of the serves would help right away and without needing to be asked. The prince of Act 3 is great too! They have one of the best priced open bars. The food was priced well too. It is worth it to have Act 3 cater your wedding (or any event). We loved them and if we ever need a caterer again we will be using Act 3.
