They came out to our wedding venue of 300+ guests and did such an amazing job. Everyone was complimenting the service and food. Almost a MONTH after our wedding and we're still getting compliments about our vendor team. Amazing communication from Roslyn who was on top of it from day one and never dropped the ball on us. We started falling for Act 3 the moment we tried the food, but Roslyn and her team helped us lock down the vittles and day of flow so well. It's ultimately a crazy day, but Act 3 gave us the piece of mind that if nothing else, the food would be tasty and our guests would be taken care of. Devi and the ACT3 team were absolutely wonderful in helping us have the best day! Very responsive and flexible to add onsite, changes and requests. They were amazing at coordinating all our rentals (dance floor, bars, outside linens) and made the day a breeze. The drinks were amazing and they were able to accommodate outside cocktail recipes for us! They helped us figure out the correct number of bars and staff to make sure there was no backup. Our guests raved about how attentive the staff was during our cocktail hour and reception. The food was amazing - highly recommend the gorgonzola steak! Payment was easy and Devi helped break down costs for us every step along the way so there were no surprises. Overall such a lovely experience and team to help us have a great day. Our wedding was wonderful. The food was delicious and staff was very attentive. We felt very pampered the entire day.

From the moment we walked into our first tasting my wife, mom, and I got the impression that Act 3 is a local company managed by folks that take great pride in participating in life’s most meaningful celebrations. Our first impression was solidified via Roslyn’s clear and consistent communication (without being overwhelming to the brides), planning assistance, and support through the big day and beyond. The event manager who supported us during the day, Marla, could not have been better in her role or more supportive. Before getting into the event, I want to highlight our tasting. Compared the others we did, Act 3 stood out immediately. Not only was the food hot and top-tier restaurant quality, Act 3 served our requested menu items and made sure my mom (the host and mother of the bride [me!]), who is vegan and gluten free, was well fed. Not only were we given a “thank you for considering us” gift, they sent all the leftovers home with us. We ate the leftovers for a couple days. The mushroom risotto, which is hard to reheat, was fantastic two days later. In the midst the of wedding chaos, somewhere between the glass of champagne Marla handed us after the ceremony and dinner, I wanted to email Roslyn and thank her. I was mentally drafting this review during our event. Act 3 was a huge part of making the day go smoothly, supported my bride and I, and kept the host sane. The host (hi mom!) specifically asked me to include her thoughts in my review: “I would like you to make a special note that Marla. As Act 3’s event manager, Marla did more than just catering and was crucial to the success of the evening. She kept things on track and supported the mother of the bride, who was new to planning and hosting a wedding, especially with the timeline and keeping on schedule. It would have been so easy to get behind and have the wedding go off the rails. Not only did Marla take care of everyone, but she also paid special attention to me and the smoothness of the event." The entire Act 3 team has been amazing from the moment of our first tasting, through the event, and afterwards. While we are excited that wedding planning is over, I'll miss working with Act 3. This review is for our wedding that took place on 08/17/24. Hiring Act 3 Catering for our wedding was easily one of the best decisions we could have made. From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation. From the initial menu tasting, to setup of our late night snacks on wedding day, Act 3 was professional every step of the way. Roslyn was an absolute gem throughout the entire planning process—always responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful in making sure every detail was just right. On the day of our wedding, the staff was phenomenal. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests could not stop raving about it! The bartenders were amazing, especially when it came to crafting our specialty cocktails—they nailed them perfectly. The team made sure our plates were full, our drinks were never empty, and we truly felt taken care of the entire night. Beyond the impeccable service, Act 3 Catering made everything stress-free. The setup and teardown were handled seamlessly, allowing us to simply enjoy our special day without a worry. And to top it all off, they surprised us with the most thoughtful thank-you parting gifts and a signed card, which was such a kind and unexpected gesture. Hiring Act 3 Catering for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! From the start, we worked closely with Roslyn, our event coordinator from Act 3, and she was an absolute joy to collaborate with. Over the course of planning, we exchanged dozens of emails, and she was always prompt, professional, and incredibly detail-oriented. Roslyn’s patience and thoughtful questions made the process seamless especially for us. On the day of the wedding, the staff and bartenders went above and beyond. They were attentive, thoughtful, and even packed up leftovers for us since we were too busy celebrating to eat. This was extremely touching to us! A fun surprise…when we attended a friend’s wedding weeks later (also catered by Act 3!), the bartenders remembered us! Choosing our menu was a challenge, since everything sounded amazing. We did two rounds of tastings to finalize our choices. We appreciated their extensive vegan options and chose their “Harvest Rice Pilaf”, despite not having any vegan guests. Act 3 was also happy to accommodate our request to include a dish from their fall menu—Korean-Style Braised Beef Short Ribs—for our summer wedding. A+ for both food and service. Many of our guests kept mentioning how delicious everything was. Having exceptional food was so important to us for our wedding day. Act 3 Catering truly delivered.

My daughter was recently married at Robinswood House. ACT3 did the catering. The food and service were phenomenal! Truong & his team at ACT 3 Catering made the day go seamlessly. The set up was beautiful and the onsite service was outstanding. The lady that was in charge kept making sure we were alright. Truong was very helpful during the entire planning process, answered all our questions and helped explain what we didn't understand. The food was amazing, and we heard a lot of compliments from guests! The stuffed mushrooms and the salmon appetizers were awesome, but the best was the chicken in butternut squash and steak with gorgonzola butter. Snack trays were provided to the wedding party and a packed dinner was provided for the Bride and Groom for after the event.

For our Halloween wedding, we chose Act 3 Catering, and they did not disappoint! From the moment we first contacted them, they were incredibly responsive and helpful, working with us to create a custom menu that perfectly fit all of our needs! The food itself was absolutely incredible; our guests raved about the tasty Fall-themed dishes, which were all presented beautifully. The staff was also top-notch, professional, and attentive to our every need. They were always there to ensure that everything went smoothly, and they even helped us with some last-minute details like menus and placecards that saved us a ton of trouble! #MyACT3Wedding

My wife and I were very impressed with the level of quality, service, and detail with which Act 3 carried out our vision for our wedding. Truly could not have asked for a more attentive staff. Out of everyone we’ve communicated with (across both competing catering companies AND other vendors), Act3 has been the most caring, thorough, swift, and knowledgeable throughout the whole timeline, consistently. We both felt deeply reassured, partnered with, and invested in because of how you worked with us and the quality of work they did. And when we met in person for the first time at the tasting, every interaction only reaffirmed the correspondence we had over the phone and over email; they not only treated us so kindly, but were also very warm and respectful to our family there with us too. They were gracious and so on top of every detail the whole way through. Truly, working with them has made a huge difference in the wedding AND in the planning leading up to it. Especially Roslyn!! Work with her if you get a chance. The whole Act3 team is deeply impressive. Their services carried us through the reception of our wedding (and beyond)! The food was amazing (those sliders are the best thing ever). Execution blew us away; they set up the floor plans exactly to spec AND were quick on their feet to adapt to the plan B when the weather conditions were poor. Neither of us had to think - we trusted the team and they all delivered. Everyone was professional and enthusiastic. Even with the leftover food at the end of the night (which we lived off of for the next day and a half) - we felt cared for.

When planning our wedding, great food was at the top of our list! We attended five tastings, including two at ACT3, to find the perfect caterer. From the beginning, ACT3 was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. They worked closely with us to create a custom menu, truly valuing our input. On the day of the wedding, the food was beyond amazing—everything was flavorful, and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say! The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient, ensuring everyone was well taken care of. Devi was fantastic, following up with us to make sure every detail was ironed out ahead of the big day.

Food was absolutely delicious! We had a buffet style for about 100 people and the food was warm and fresh the entire time. We got so many compliments on the food!! Highly recommend!

Act 3 catered our wedding, and the food and service were incredible. We chose them for their extensive vegan and allergy friendly options. Their website didn't show these menus by default, so definitely ask if this applies to you! We chose an all vegetarian menu, and the guests especially loved the cauliflower steaks. Roslyn was great to work with: professional, timely, and organized. The team was willing to make adjustments to their recipes based on our preferences from the tasting (I.e. reducing the sweetness in the brussels sprouts, substituting arugula for lettuce in a salad), and the parts of dinner we didn't modify were even better than at our tasting, too. The service staff at our wedding were so courteous and efficient. We would absolutely recommend Act 3!

Would highly recommend! The food was great, but the service was really the differentiator for us. Leading up to our event communication was clear and all of our questions were answered promptly. On wedding day, the service team didn't need any direction setting up or clearing out, and everyone was so friendly! Couldn't have been happier with our catering service

I had a fantastic experience with ACT 3 as my wedding caterer. Roslyn was incredibly helpful, guiding me through menu selections and patiently answering all of my questions. Her responsiveness and expert advice were invaluable throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, the crew arrived promptly and set up the venue exactly as I had envisioned. The staff was friendly and always wore a smile. We had a buffet dinner for about 60 guests, and the buffet table was beautifully arranged with clear labels for each dish. Our guests loved the food, and the catering staff thoughtfully packed up the leftover food and wedding cakes for me, which I appreciated since I forgot to eat the wedding cake! Their top-notch customer service left a lasting impression. At the end of the night, the crew efficiently cleaned up the venue and left us a heartfelt card signed by all the staff, which was a wonderfully touching gesture. I highly recommend ACT 3 for anyone seeking exceptional catering.

Act 3 catered my recent May 2024 wedding and I could not have been happier with our food! We have received an outpouring of positive remarks from our wedding guests about their meals, and surprisingly, my wife and I were able to sit down for a delicious meal too! We so appreciated Act 3's diligence to make sure we ate day-of as well, from the changing room appetizers, to the expertly served brides' dinner plates by their staff - what a game changer!! The Act 3 staff was exceptional from start to finish of planning our wedding food, and they made sure that our every need (including oddly specific dietary restrictions!) was accounted for. Their food is genuinely SO good that I might just have to stop by their office for a snack haha. I highly recommend Act 3 to anyone looking for a fabulous, creative, and accommodating caterer!

ACT 3 catered our daughter's wedding in June 2023. I can't say enough about what a terrific experience it was. We received compliments from so many of our guests on how delicious the food was. The service they provided was great as well - smooth, pleasant and efficient. We highly, highly recommend ACT 3!

Working with ACT 3 was a dream. Throughout the entire process, they have been responsive and professional. Day of the wedding: the food was delicious, the catering staff and bartenders were fun, friendly and attentive, and everything was beautiful and timely. Our guests gushed about how delicious the food was. Very, very pleased. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The food was spectacular! The staff did an amazing job during the service. They were very helpful and thorough leading up the our wedding to ensure they provided just what we wanted. We had an unexpected emergency during the event and the staff stepped up and gave us extra assistance when they weren’t expected to. They went above and beyond for us. I would 100% recommend this catering company!

We cannot say enough great things about Act 3. The entire process was fantastic. They were very easy to work with, clear on services, and prompt communicators. The catering was everything we could have ever dreamed of. The quality of the food and service was top notch. As someone who does not live in the Seattle area, they made our wedding exceptional, going above and beyond our expectations and helping us when needed. A big thank you to Act 3 Catering for helping to make our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding go so smoothly. From the first tasting to the wedding day, they were communicative, helpful and professional. We were still having photographs done in the secret garden at Thornewood Castle, and staff members made sure that hors d’oeuvres were circulating amongst us too. Dinner was served efficiently with generous portions. A big shout out to Kiry, our Act 3 coordinator and Stephanie, our “Day of” operations manager. A perfect wedding day!

I was honestly really worried that something was going to go horribly wrong at our wedding, because ACT 3 seemed too good to be true! They were professional, super affordable, and their food was delicious - there had to be a catch right? Nope! The wedding went perfectly, they were fantastic to work with, and we got so many compliments on the food. 10/10 would recommend and use again!

We're so happy we chose Act 3 for our wedding! They were significantly less expensive than other caterers we reached out to, but the food was all delicious, and they helped us with our table and linen rentals as well. They were very professional throughout. We did have one snafu where they didn't have our food when we came to pick up our to-go tasting order, but they generously comped the meal. Thanks for helping to make our wedding stress-free and special!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Act 3 was the first and only caterer we reached out to for our West Coast wedding and they did not disappoint! We were blown away by the tasting - first of all, the portions were HUGE and that wasn’t expected - we both thought we’d be sharing bites of food but we left FULL. We had enough leftovers to take home and enjoy later on as well. Mao was our coordinator who worked closely with our wedding coordinator to make sure the day-of was perfect. The guests from our wedding are still raving about the food quality - we opted for a buffet style and everyone LOVED having the option of both the short ribs and salmon for entrees. Victoria was the sweetheart table personal server and she was the real MVP! She always had our drinks refilled, brought over appetizers we missed while taking photos, and had second plates ready for us from the buffet, and made sure we (the couple) were completely full & satisfied. Act 3 even prepared a leftover bag for us to take home for a late night after-wedding snack - which was amazing even reheated. If we could do the wedding all over again, we would in a heartbeat!

We were completely blown away by the service we had from ACT 3 Catering. We selected them because our venue required we go through one of their preferred vendors list and ACT 3's prices were in our budget. On the day of the wedding, they were so kind and attentive to our needs throughout the evening, bringing us food directly (our guests had a buffet service). It was also very helpful that they ordered any rentals (linens, plates, flatware, etc.) directly through CORT so we didn't have to coordinate anything ourselves. The food was also even better day-of than when we had our tasting (which was also wonderful). We received many compliments and I highly recommend this company for incredible service, great food, and a seamless experience!

We had a wonderful experience with ACT 3 Catering. It was listed as a preferred vendor through our venue and they definitely delivered. The tasting was so fun and we were able to take our time while enjoying some wine. In the midst of crazy wedding planning, Stephanie was always there to answer my questions extremely quickly. Can't say how helpful that is while planning your own wedding! Highly recommend ACT 3.

ACT 3 Catering was a pleasure to work with! They went above and beyond to make our wedding reception perfect! ACT 3 was very organized and helpful during the planning process. The menu selections were very accommodating and the had lots of options for allergies. Pricing was very reasonable and the food was delicious! During our event the ACT 3 staff was extremely attentive! The staff personally served the bride and groom and regularly checked in on all the guests to ensure they had everything they needed. ACT 3 also packed a post wedding dinner and dessert box for the bride and groom too! We would highly recommend ACT 3 Catering for your special day!

We were thrilled with the catering that ACT 3 provided for our wedding ! Everyone loved the food and the service throughout the event was amazing. The setup and cleanup went flawlessly as did the entire event. We would highly recommend them for your event!

We had our wedding this December 2021. I heard nothing but great things about ACT 3’s food from all our guests! The steak and salmon were amazing. The tasting went great as well, and they were very accommodating about all our requests and changes throughout the planning. The communication was easy. It was a bit difficult to get a hold of them during the first two months, but that is totally understandable since it’s around their busy season (summer). I got a chance to talk to 3 of their coordinators throughout the 6-months of our planning. The servers during the reception were extremely helpful and made sure my husband and I got a chance to eat and drink during the night. We highly recommend ACT3.

This is not a negative review, it is an honest one. Things started out well with this caterer. Prices were reasonable, and the tasting went well. We were assured that this business could handle the variety of dietary needs we expected at our wedding. This business was also flexible through the pandemic, and we had no trouble re-scheduling when that needed to happen. But in the weeks leading up to our event, we had serious communication issues, and I had trouble getting in contact with this office. I had to initiate important communications - we were not communicated with at key dates, or followed up with consistently. Our final contract had multiple issues, and I went back and forth with the office in the week (days!) leading up to the wedding to correct them. They did let us make adjustments to our totals during that time since the contract wasn't finalized anyway because of those errors... so I guess points for flexibility? Personally I would've preferred to have had things finalized before that. At our wedding, there were mistakes made with specialty items not being marked correctly/ put out when they shouldn't have been, so earlier guests going through the buffet were taking multiple main dish items, assuming they were sides. One side dish ran out altogether, and main dishes for special diets were not available to those who had ordered them. One issue is that we were not aware that our buffet would not be served. We were told afterwards that would've been an additional charge, which we would've gladly paid for COVID reasons alone, but also to control portioning. Again, communication issues. In the end, the guests at our last four tables had to take food from the children's buffet. Really embarrassing for us! When we brought these issues up to Act 3, the response we received was disappointing and unprofessional. Staff accused us of "coaching" our guests to say there wasn't enough food, accused me of not communicating with them enough, and our guests of taking too much food. They were insistent that the majority of the blame was on myself and our guests. They also haggled with us over

I was very impressed with ACT 3 from the start! The tasting was personable and enjoyable. The staff made it feel like we were on a date night and less like it was food tasting for the wedding. All the options were awesome and tasted great! Communication was clear between Amber and my wedding coordinator, and things seemed to go smoothly the day of the wedding. People loved the food and had good things to say about the staff! I probably ordered too much food, but they reassured me that the leftovers would go to local charities in the area. Highly recommend ACT 3 for your wedding!

Communication with Act 3 was wonderful, they respond quickly to emails and are always happy to help answer any questions. The food and service was great! During my wedding, I had taken longer to get ready for dinner than I had originally planned, so our plates of food got cold. The Act 3 team at our wedding got us fresh plates of hot food for us to enjoy. They were on the higher end for pricing out of the 5 caters we had to chose from (our venue told us we had to go through certain caterers). But, they were well worth it since they offered food that everyone would enjoy and they helped keep our wedding guests happy.

One of the 3 vendors our venue allowed. Was a little higher proposal compared to another we received, however the food and service was outstanding. Worked with us to find a good menu that fit within our budget. We had the "We buy it" alcohol package , but they provided excellent servers for our bar. Buffet menu was delicious, received many comments from guests. Did have some staffing changes with a few difficulties with communication but otherwise very professional and a great vendor.
