Gosh, where to begin!!!!
First, I love them. I can get pretty awkward really fast and Kerry and Taylor made me feel so comfortable during all of my photo sessions with them. I went in with a plan and they went right along with everything, capturing every moment I wanted along with hundreds more I didn't know I wanted! They have beautiful spirit and it shows through their work. It is true art, not some cheesy, stiff, cliche, wedding photography. Book them. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I went with Kerry and Taylor because they had done such amazing work with our good friend's wedding a couple of years ago. And Kerry and Taylor exceed all expectations. Not only is the work beautiful, but they are very inventive and creative with their photography. My husband said whenever he went to suggest to them to take a photo during the reception, they were there. They are quick, efficient and just so genuinely friendly. I would recommend them to any and everyone!
I wanted to surprise my mom with a bagpiper, she is Scottish and loves the pipes. We used him as a surprise recessional at our ceremony! He knew exactly what we wanted and when he got the cue from the church coordinator he came up the aisle playing and my mom lost it! He then played outside the church for about 30 minutes. The guests loved the surprise. Along with knowing exactly what we wanted, he was easy to communicate with and very professional.
I was having an outdoor ceremony so having something played via sound system was pretty much out of the question. I'm certainly no string quartet type of girl. I'm Scottish. What better way to walk down the aisle than have a bag piper play? Adam was wonderful to work with and played the pipes wonderfully. I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle any other way! I highly recommend him!
I originally chose Birch Blaze simply because I love their style of photography.. they don't take the usual cheesey engagement and wedding photographs and really put a different spin on the way these photos come across. I scrolled through all the pictures on their blog and every event they captured.... I felt really captured the event and emotion of the day. That's why I chose them.
They are professional, timely, really cool people who I really enjoyed working with! They are quick to respond to any emails or phone calls, do what they say they're going to do, in the time they say it... they had awesome packages and even altered mine to suit my needs.. and the quality of photos was amazing!
Kerry and Taylor are an absolute joy to work with. Choosing them as our wedding photographers was so easy—their editorial style was exactly what we were looking for! They are not only talented and creative, but they have a fun and down-to-earth energy about them that is unobtrusive and really puts people at ease. They captured so many beautiful candid moments from our wedding. I can’t say enough good things!
These two are amazing!!! They're very talented, and are willing to go above and beyond! Not only are they talented but they're fun! Having them around made me confident that I will always remember my day. I can't thank these two enough for everything they did for me and my husband. And I plan to use them in the future for other major life events. If you choose them, you not only get amazing photographers, but you make great friends!
If you want extraordinary and unique wedding photos, you have to check out Birch Blaze. Kerry and Taylor work together as a team, one focusing more on formal pics and the other more on casual or photojournalistic pics. I especially liked a woman to take pre-wedding pics of the bride/bridesmaids and a man to take the pre-wedding pics of the groom/groomsmen. Since both are professionals instead of a pro with an assistant, you get better quality pics. They are so professional, that you don't even know they are taking your picture. Their equipment is very high quality and they are able to get the perfect shot with (seemingly) little effort. Their approach is artistic so if you want to control and predict every shot this is not the vendor for you. But if you can let them have the freedom to express their vision, you will not be disappointed. Birch Blaze photography was amazing!!! Taylor and Kerry are easy to work with, open minded, and are extremely talented
For my husbands wedding gift I gave him this service as his gift. Adding the bag piper to our wedding made it that much more unique and to the heart. Adam does a wonderful job.
He was wonderful and very professional! I received many comments from my guests on his performance. I highly recommend him! His price was a bit higher than the others but well worth the extra money for the performance I received!
This establishment consists of two people, Kerry and Taylor, a husband/wife team and they are great! We wanted to meet these guys and hang out for a little while before we made a commitment to their services. They offered to meet us "half way" for dinner (about 1.5 hours for them)...but as I later discovered in a Google search they drove way more than halfway and never peeped a word about it. Talk about going out of the way for a client, a potential client in our case! We liked them right away and a contract was in place in a few days. We kept in touch in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding and everything unfolded EXACTLY as we had planned. They showed up 1.5 hours before our shuttles started driving guests to the ceremony spot so we could have getting ready pictures taken and a few “girls” and “guys” shots. Taylor came down on the last shuttle with me and Kerry had taken the first shuttle down with the groom. This way they were able to capture just about all the precious moments leadings up the ceremony that were happening in multiple locations. The formals went quickly, just like we had wanted, leaving my husband and I a good solid hour maybe a little more, to have our own private session with them. At the reception they stayed out of our guest’s way…. In fact, a few people commented they never saw the photographers! …and took the best party pictures I’ve ever seen. Their pictures are artistic, unique, thoughtful and absolutely stunning. I cry a little every time I look at them. I can’t say enough good things about Kerry and Taylor as people too…so kind, pleasant and down to earth great people. We look forward to the pleasure of working with them again in the future….and we would do so in a heartbeat!
I LOVE THIS BAND. They lived up to every expectation I had. They made sure that NOTHING went wrong on my day and took care of all my reception worries. They are super nice and easy to deal with and all my guest were so impressed with them. At the end of the night all my guest were screaming for an encore.
