Brenda from Adore Rouge was so wonderful to work with. She was extremely professional throughout the entire process and did a great job explaining everything/answering all my questions. I don’t normally wear much makeup on a daily basis so I was very concerned that I would look fake/not like myself on my wedding day. Brenda assured me that she would create a look that would make me feel like the best version of myself and the day of my makeup trial she did exactly that! She talked me through everything and asked for my input at each step. This was something I really appreciated and it made me so excited to work with her again on the big day. Brenda is a make up superstar! She is extremely kind, professional, and ultra-talented. We did a trial before my wedding to get the natural make up vibe I was looking for, and she nailed it from the start. She is also very patient—during my trial we went through loads of lip colors because I'm so picky with lipstick and she didn't say a thing! (And it was worth it: she gave me a full tube of it for touch-ups throughout the wedding, and now whenever I use it I'm reminded of the best day ever, which is fun!) On the day of the wedding, she arrived right on time, did the make up for all 4 of my bridesmaids and mother effortlessly, and put the fake lashes on all of us divas perfectly :) She also does air-brushing on your face which looks stunning in photographs! I would highly recommend Brenda to do your make up for your wedding—you won't regret it!

I had a terrific experience with Brenda and her team for my June 2, 2018 wedding. From the trial session, to a last minute, day of add on of two extra ladies, they were accommodating, calm, and killer at their jobs. My biggest fear was not looking like myself on my wedding day and being too over done as I have been in so many weddings I've had to be in. Brenda was receiving with my concerns and was honest with me about what would look good, and what wouldn't. Her attention to detail is immaculate, and all of my girls (including myself) looked and felt the most beautiful we ever have.

Brenda of Adore Rouge is worth every penny. We didn't have time for a trial before my destination wedding in Maine, so Brenda came early on the big day in case we didn't nail the look on the first try. Of course, she nailed it. I was so, so happy with my natural, me-on-my-best-day look. Brenda listened to what I wanted, helped me set realistic expectations, and executed the look flawlessly. I felt like a model, and it made me all the more confident for photos. She was punctual, sweet, and professional. On pricing ... I was a bride on a budget, so I booked an "affordable" makeup artist who I found on Google. After a trial gone wrong (late, unprofessional), I asked Brenda to do my makeup just a few weeks out from my weekday elopement. It's expensive, but the makeup looked fabulous and stayed on for about eight hours, even with the August heat. Trust me, she is worth every penny!

Brenda was absolutely amazing! From the time I initially reached out to her to the wedding day she couldn't have been more wonderful. Brenda and Virginia did an absolutely beautiful job doing the make-up for myself, six bridesmaids, my mom, and mom-in-law on my wedding day! Brenda was wonderful to work with from the beginning. Her contract and paperwork were very organized, and I appreciated her responsiveness when I was booking her services. Two months before the wedding, I travelled to Portland where she did a trial for me. I showed her a few pinterest looks, and she nailed them perfectly! I wanted a look that was "enhanced natural" and I was so happy with my trial! She took the time to get to know me which I really appreciated! On the wedding day, Brenda and Virginia were nothing short of perfect! They travelled to my parents home where my bridal party and I were getting married, bringing their own lights and chairs. This was extremely important to me and Brenda achieved it for my special day! Hiring Brenda from Adore Rouge was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding day! I knew that I wanted a natural and clean look and Brenda was able to create exactly that. The air brush makeup she used made my skin and my bridesmaids feel and look flawless. I cannot recommend Brenda of Adore Rouge highly enough; she is very talented and did an incredibly job on my wedding day look (even traveling to my hotel which made my wedding morning easy and fun)! She was incredibly professional and prompt in all communication. I don't typically wear much make-up, and Brenda was very kind and professional talking me through the process. I initially wanted to go a little more dramatic for my make-up trial, but changed my mind a few weeks before the wedding, opting for a more natural look. I hired Brenda to be my makeup artist for my wedding, and she was amazing! At my trial I described the look I was going for, and she understood it perfectly. I wanted a pretty natural look for myself and my bridesmaids, and she and her partner did a wonderful job achieving that. Brenda and her assistant were absolutely wonderful to work with on my wedding day! They did my make-up as well as the make-up for my six bridesmaids, flower girl and mother of the bride and groom. Ahead of the wedding, I chose to have a trial done. Brenda was great - she asked a lot of questions and was really able to drill down on what I was looking for and completely captured my vision! She was also really helpful with giving me tips on what to communicate to my bridal party ahead of time so that the morning went as smooth as possible. She was also super accessible ahead of the wedding when I had questions about false lashes and dermaplaning. The day-of she and her assistant showed up on-time and were very professional. Everyone in my bridal party LOVED their make-up and couldn't stop talking about how great Brenda and her team were to work with.

Brenda and her assistant did my makeup (and my bridesmaids') for my wedding this June and I was extremely satisfied. Brenda made me feel comfortable and gave me a look that felt like my everyday self but better :) Together, they were able to tailor everyone's look to what their liking and left everyone very happy including all of my bridesmaids and even my mom (who usually doesn't like professional make up because it's "too much"). Brenda did makeup for me and my mom on my wedding day, and she did a wonderful job. I decided at the last minute to soften my look -- a significant change from what we had agreed upon during my trial a few weeks earlier -- and this was absolutely no problem for Brenda; she was very responsive to my request and helpful in proposing changes that would suit me. She was confident in her work and very efficient -- we were ready well ahead of schedule. I highly recommend her.

Brenda was outstanding! She listened and provided her own ideas and the end result was absolutely perfect! She kept my normal makeup style, but elevated it to look awesome in my pictures and last all night! My sister (a skeptic) said how happy she was that I still looked like me, only fancy! We did pictures early at 3pm and the reception ended at 1am, so I was nervous about makeup lasting all night. Brenda's makeup stayed perfect the entire night, all I had to do was reapply lipstick. Seriously, I'm amazed at how great it it all turned out! Also, she went above and beyond the day of. She not only made my mom and my sister look amazing, but she even went down and got them from the hotel lobby when I was indisposed! Thank you so much Brenda! That was fun!

Brenda did a wonderful job with not only my make-up but my bridesmaids and my mom! I felt so confident and beautiful and I didn't have to worry if I looked "different" - all of our make up looked so natural that it was still "us". The makeup stayed on even as we all danced the night away and I honestly didn't want to take it off when I went to bed. Working with Brenda was wonderful - she really listened to what I like and what I wear; she also made edits along the way in the trial to make sure I was 100% happy with the results and exactly what I was looking for. The lipstick that Brenda gave me for touch ups is a nice connection to the wedding day and has now become one of my favorite pieces of makeup.

I recently got married and Brenda did my makeup along with 7 of my girls. She was able to give every girl the look they wanted to make them feel beautiful. I got married in Maine on 7/2/16, and Brenda from Adore Rouge did the makeup for myself and my bridal party. From the get-go, Brenda was communicative and easy to work with. She is very responsive via email, and was open to what I wanted for my look! During the trial, she asked me what I liked, looked at photo examples with me, and formed an idea from there. She asked me how I liked it, and when I suggested doing a few changes, she was totally fine with it and made the necessary adjustments. The day of the wedding, she arrived early and was prepared; she was able to take care of myself, my bridesmaids, and even the last-minute addition of my mother with time to spare. I loved my make-up and service provided by Brenda at Adore Rouge. Brenda is very easy going and listens to your asks. Brenda was great! All my bridesmaids are not used to wearing much makeup, and she was able to make them all look and feel amazing! I was a bit afraid of the airbrush technique (as another makeup artist in the past had made me look horrible using it)- however Brenda made me look beautiful with her airbrush/styling techniques! She also uses airbrush application for the foundation, so it really held up through the entire dance filled evening.

As our wedding was entirely DIY, the only scheduled appointment was my hair and make-up. Brenda and Nicole (from Aphrodite Salon) went above and beyond to help us out. With only 24 hours notice, they moved up our appointments by 3 hours so that we could have an exquisitely sunny marriage ceremony at 2PM. I thank Brenda for helping to make my day beautiful, and I whole-heartedly recommend her services to you.

My experience with Adore Rouge was great! I loved working with Brenda, she was easy to talk to, knew exactly what I was trying to say when I explained it to her, and gave me the exact look that I wanted.
