Sydney is the absolute BEST at her job!! We had a May 4th wedding and a lot of DIY decor, and she handled all of it extremely well. The best representation of going above and beyond expectations. We felt like royalty! We had the best day free from stress because of her. Her confidence definitely helped to alleviate all the worry. Any minor problems were handled efficiently and discreetly. I cannot believe how on top of everything she was during both the rehearsal and especially the day of the wedding! I know we were not an easy setup but she handled everything perfectly and made everything look absolutely lovely. Even guests were commenting on how wonderful she was! I absolutely appreciate all of the hard work she did in order to make everything run super smoothly. I know it was NOT easy!
I hired Sydney rather last minute to be my day-of wedding coordinator for my wedding in St. Augustine on February 24th this year. This was my first (and hopefully last, haha!) time getting married and nobody in either of our families had planned a wedding since the 90s, so I was really struggling to pull it all together. I stumbled upon Sydney and she was a complete angel, level-headed and by my book, even when I was having a complete mental breakdown the morning of my wedding from how nervous I was! She helped calm me down, reassured me she was just as nervous on her big day, and cheered me on down the aisle, whilst simultaneously helping transport decor, set up the venue, organize the seating chart, manage all the vendors, and keep the wedding party in check. And that isn’t even to mention all the work she did before the big day! She met with me several times prior to the wedding, quickly answered every email, reached out to vendors, anticipated my needs before even I could, and helped me plan the logistics in the weeks leading up to our I Do’s. I genuinely wish she could organize my life the way she organized my wedding. Everyone I know praised me how wonderful everything came out afterwards, but Sydney was the one who really made it happen for me! Even my husband and the groomsmen were singing her praises for days following the wedding (especially after her and her husband came up with the creative idea of tying my tree drapes to the Ring Bearer’s shoe and throwing it over the giant old oak tree at the Oldest House to make my vision work, haha). Thank you so much again, Sydney, I genuinely don’t know how I could’ve ever gotten married without you!!! You rock!!!
The team at Adrift Events did a great job of planning and executing a fun and entertaining wedding event! Working together with the venue, they delivered a great dining experience (the food was amazing!) and a fun reception with great music! Attention to detail with added creativity made this an event to remember!
Sydney, with Adrift Events, did an amazing job planning a Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower..
she coordinated every aspect from locating the picture perfect venue, to the authentic Derby menu and classic Derby drinks, including Mint Juleps and Oak Lilies. There was live streaming of Derby day horse racing and betting sheets for those who wanted to place a wager or two. Everyone came dressed in their best Derby attire including hats and had so much fun, they were all asking for a repeat next year. The golf course setting was an absolute beautiful backdrop with the plate glass windows that looked out over the green. If you can't make it to the Derby, this was the next best thing. Such a fun day!!!
Sydney was awesome!! This Baby Shower for my daughter was so special and beautiful! Sydney worked with me and my daughter to give us everything we wanted! The games were so much fun and the food was amazing. The decorations were beautiful. I would recommend her for any event that you might be having. Thank you so much for a beautiful shower!
