or a good florist to make it happen. For the reception venue, everything was according to plan except the 7foot tall dried tree that we ordered from her. We indicated in our floor plan that we wanted it to be behind the sweetheart table - but to our surprise it was placed on the other side of the room. It was the highlight decor - so it was important to us. It was too late to move the decor because the guests were already in there. Also, since our wedding was rustic winter themed - we talked about having dried twigs with snow decor in it. I didn't expect that the snow decor material will be lumped cotton balls though, especially for the price of the decor in general.
So for future clients - I think it is better to check for the materials used like 2 weeks or 1 week before the wedding so there will be no surprises - if this is possible. Lisa can also improve on the overall customer experience. Sometimes when we drop an email - we would think that she is always in a hurry and doesn't have the time to reply to us. Other times, we wouldn't get the information that we needed without asking her multiple times.
On the upside, Lisa was so kind to help us set up some of paper goods and favors that we brought ourselves for the wedding!

The final effect made the space magical. Some of my guests even cried when they saw how beautiful the space was. The venue attendant said that the decor was the best they ever saw in the barn. I wasn't sure how everything was going to pull together but all was beautiful. All night we heard nothing but wonderful comments. What impressed me the most and not ever doing before, is how everything was going to pull together and completed timely. I arrived on wedding day at 9:30 a.m. and all was done. Then at the end of the reception and not even noticing them there, they had everything torn down and gone in no time.

went for simple in the tent, just cafe lights, a chandelier, and small backdrop for the head table. In the pole barn, we had white curtains to hide the aluminum siding and shelving units/workbenches. She also put up swooshes in purple and orange (our wedding colors). We had also bought purple and orange LED Chinese lanterns which she expertly hung from the ceiling also.
On top of that she was more than willing to help when we had a small issue with the tent (which was not what we had ordered). Absolutely fantastic to work with!
