Megan and Vishnu run a very professional business. We saw their work on instagram and didn’t even entertain another vendor. They don’t just document your wedding, they bring it to life and tell your love story. On the business end of things, they’re very prompt and available. They walked us through pricing and their process very early on. They were honest about how long it would take to process our photos and videos. Excellent customer service. From an artistic and emotional perspective, I am so happy and blessed that we found them to document our wedding day. The video and photos are perfect. It tells our wedding story and it is full of joy and happiness. I cry every time I watch our wedding video. It takes me back to The best day of my life and I’m so thankful. Megan and Vishnu love each other deeply and I think that’s what makes their work even better. The love each other and they love love. They are true artists, they are storytellers, they have vision, they are easy to talk to and work with. Where do I even begin? Megan + Vishnu from Adventure Story Films are absolutely amazing. Do not hesitate at all to hire them — we can say without a doubt it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When it came to choosing our videographer, both my husband and I decided to invest our wedding budget here, and to choose the best. We personally love photography ourselves, so we were *picky* about who would document our wedding and their craft. I wish I could say it’s an over-exaggeration, but I looked at close to 100 videographers to try to choose who we would hire. That was until our wedding planner told us her top recommendation was Adventure Story Films. When we saw their work, we immediately knew they would be our top choice. Their work is elevated and on a different level from a lot of wedding videography I’ve seen (which often feels very formulaic and cookie cutter). Instead, Megan + Vishnu take the time to know you as a couple, and truly create a CINEMATIC film that tells the story of your special day. Each one of their films has top-notch cinematography, is tailored uniquely to the couple and their vibe, and most importantly, invokes the emotion and narrative of the moment. While some may think photos can substitute videos, don’t be those people!! We are *infinitely* happy in our choice to hire a videographer, and Adventure Story Films at that. Video tells stories & invokes emotions that photos can’t do alone. And Megan & Vishnu are so, so good at what they do. When we first saw the email that our film was ready, I had such high expectations, that I was worried that my expectations would be unfair. But even with my high hopes, our film that Megan + Vishnu created completely blew me away. My husband laughed as I was in absolute tears watching it. It captured all our emotions, details, moments (some I hadn’t even noticed!) of the day. We will truly treasure it forever. On top of their work, Megan + Vishnu are such nice and lovely people. Both my husband & I are quite camera shy, but being around them, we were laughing throughout the day and they both made our wedding day so comfortable. There are so many wonderful things to say about Adventure Story Films (Megan and Vishnu)! They are the absolute dream team and know how to tell beautiful stories through their creative and immersive art style. When we were looking for a wedding photographer and videographer, their work drew us in, and after our initial phone call, we were completely sure that they were the right team to capture our special day. During the planning process, they were so communicative and really helped address all our questions. It was really comforting leading up to our wedding day knowing they were on top of everything to do with photos, video, and timing. It was something we could completely rely on them to handle, which was a huge weight off of our shoulders. The tone and mood of the photos really emphasized the dramatic dreaminess of the rainy, PNW weather we had on our wedding day - which we honestly love! When watching the wedding film back, the way everything was shot, the music that was chosen, and how our vows were cut together really captured the essence of us and how we felt. My husband couldn’t stop smiling and I couldn’t stop crying at how beautiful it was and how we can enjoy our wedding forever! We are so grateful for Megan and Vishnu’s time and amazing talent. We can not say enough nice things about Adventure Story Films. We wanted adventure and they gave it to us! They were open to all of our ideas and were flexible in creating a package that was perfect for us. They were wonderful at communicating with us and filling in any gaps that we weren't sure about (helping pick locations, build a timeline, suggesting vendors, etc.). We had two sessions with them and for both, they created such a beautiful experience. The experiences were authentic and completely candid. They offered us guidance while shooting, but never had us do anything that felt uncomfortable. We both had such a fun time while shooting with them. We can't say enough how wonderful and easy it was to work with Megan of Adventure Stories. We were looking for a photographer who could tell a story through our photos and Megan went above and beyond to tell our story. We really wanted photos taken in a more natural setting than our venue provided, and Megan not only was flexible enough to travel to a different site for photos, but she also called the Grotto ahead of time to make sure we could have photos taken onsite. Megan captured the magic and joy of our day; from the touching moments while we were getting ready to the first look at the Grotto, to the dramatic ambience of our venue, to the sweet moments of our ceremony to the fun and joyous photos from our reception. Megan shared a perspective of our wedding that we didn't see, and it has been wonderful looking at the photos over and over again. Each time we look at them, we notice something new, see friends sharing hugs and family members sharing stories. We wanted the photos of our wedding to tell a story of two families and their friends coming together to start a new journey and Megan captured our story and our beginning beautifully. Megan and Vishnu are not only two of the kindest people but two of the most genuinely talented people we had the pleasure of working with for our wedding! We got married July 2 and Megan and Vishnu made the planning process seamless - making sure we were prepared and excited for our wedding and that it was all easy and fun the day of! Megan was booked the day of our wedding so we had the pleasure of working with Vishnu and his sister Dana and they felt like wedding guests - they were so great to have there on the day of and helped with everything (even helped pin my hair back when it was falling a bit after photos!). We so thoroughly enjoyed working with them and were even more excited when we saw our photo album. It's one thing to see beautiful wedding photos of complete strangers on a website when you are looking for a photographer and videographer for your wedding. It's another thing when you see those photos in the style you came to love and you and all of the people you love most are the subject of them! My husband and I have looked at our pictures probably 10,000 times since we received them last week and are absolutely giddy every time as we get to relive all of the best parts of our best day ever! We cannot wait to see the magic Vishnu and Megan will work with the video after seeing the photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. If we could give 10 stars to Megan and Vishnu we would! From our first zoom meeting to the end of the reception, they were warm and professional and captured our big day wonderfully! The Mr. and I have never had proper couples photos done, and it was important to us and our families that we had the classic "formal" portraits along with candid moments. We chose both photo and video, and they were almost like flies on the wall for the entire day! Megan and Vishnu provide wonderful correspondence throughout the planning process, and were quick to answer my many, many questions :o) I am SO grateful Megan convinced us to read our vows to just each other; that moment beautifully summarized everything leading up to our day. Our venue was not very adventurous at all (a cute lil' rustic farm in the Puget Sound area), but their atmospheric and cinematic approach made it look SO much more dramatic! They take full advantage of natural light, and their attention to detail deserves a standing ovation. Also, their pups tag along and they are cute as hell.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Megan and Vishnu are such a great husband and wife duo. They were the first ever vendor we booked with during our wedding planning process and Megan was just so graceful because we had no idea what we were doing! We had a zoom call with them to get to know them and talk about our vision for the wedding and they really hit the nail. Our engagement photos in Mt. Rainier were STUNNING. It was a literal snow storm and they worked with what they could due to the snow. Honestly, our engagement photos turned out so well no one would ever know that we took them in a parking lot in Mt. Rainier, that is how wonderfully skilled they are. The day of our wedding, they showed up ready to go (even though their was unexpected snow AGAIN). They captured so many beautiful moments on our special day that we get to cherish forever. We got the photos back 3 ish weeks after the wedding and they did not disappoint! My wedding party told us how comfortable Megan and Vishnu made them feel in front of the camera and that was such a relief. They are so talented and skilled, you need to hire them!

We hired Adventure Stories for both their photography and videography services for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! We enjoyed working with both Megan and Vishnu every step of the wedding planning process. Adventure Story Films captured our day so perfectly!! From the start, we were looking for a photographer that could work with our budget and knew how to navigate outdoor lighting. After we found these photographers, we could see their style, quality, aesthetic, expertise in outdoor photos, and we just knew the photos would turn out beautiful. After reaching out to this couple, they were great at communicating with us ahead of time and asking all the necessary questions.... we knew we could trust them with our day! Vishnu was a great day of photographer, he was quick to run and capture all the authentic moments! He was so genuine, personable, friendly, we easily felt comfortable with him! Our wedding was in the first week of August, so we were expecting for it to be super sunny, but it ended up being dark & it rained. Not enough can be said about how amazing Megan and Vishnu are. From our first phone conversation, we knew they were the right people for the job. Throughout the entire wedding planning process they made themselves available for any and all questions. They were not only well-organized and extremely talented, but also incredibly kind and a lot of fun to work with! You cannot go wrong with hiring them for your big day.

Let me just start by saying that our wedding probably wasn’t the easiest to be a photographer for. Our venue cancelled, and we had to change almost all of our details last minute to pull off our day. On top of that, we had a very rowdy (although fun) wedding party that I’m sure was difficult to wrangle. As soon as I told Megan about our cancelled venue and planning chaos, she went above and beyond to help us figure out all the new details, she was also full of grace with our guests and wedding party. Up until the wedding, Megan was a great support system with valuable experience and advice, then the photography session set in on the big day, and she was FLAWLESS. Megan guided us through the entire day and was just amazing at giving direction. When we got our photos back we were floored. They were beyond anything we could have expected. They are absolutely incredible. Megan is truly an artist behind the lens and we can’t thank her enough for her expertise and skill.

They did our engagement shoot, wedding photos and video. Such an amazing job captured so many beautiful moments and edited it spectacularly. They captured the beauty of the venue we had our wedding at and used the venue flawlessly. In the months leading up to the wedding they were great about making sure all our questions were answered and always made themselves available when we needed to talk. The day of the wedding...wow. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better. They brought a calm, cool and collected vibe to a hectic day, which I honestly am not sure what I would have done without. They even helped me get to the wedding venue when our ride situation fell apart! Their work is beautiful and truly captured the essence of our day. We are so thrilled at how everything came out. The photos turned out better than we could have imagined and they turned them around for us very quickly! Megan and Vishnu are wonderful people and amazing photographers. We asked them to shoot our engagement photos in Dec 2019 and our small wedding ceremony in Dec 2020 and are in love with every photo they took for us. They made us feel so comfortable during the shoot and were so thoughtful in their framing and editing. Portraits, candids, landscape shots, all of the above turned out amazing. We received our photos earlier than expected, and it was so easy to communicate with them along the way. We had to make changes related to COVID restrictions in 2020 and Megan accommodated us in a timely and reasonable manner. Would definitely recommend them for your wedding!

We challenged Adventure Stories to Alaska’s rugged landscapes and mosquito haven. The results were professional and unique. I loved the distinct style used to express our love. We truly felt listened to, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Adventure Stories. My fiancé and I are now living in Oregon. We have a little one on the way and wanted to capture our happiness. Adventure Stories provides a complete and joyful result again. There are not enough words to describe how thankful I am my husband and I found Megan and Vishnu. They were helpful throughout our entire planning process - from our engagement video to our actual wedding day, they made us feel comfortable from day one. Not to mention we LOVE our videos! It was such a nice touch to be able to play our engagement film at our wedding for all our guests and loved ones to see. Our wedding video was also everything we dreamed of and more. It told our story rather than simply focusing on events, plus we with thrilled with how they used snippets from our toasts and personal vows to strengthen our love story. It literally looked like a movie, I haven’t stopped receiving compliments from the day I shared it with family/friends. I wanted videography from day one but I searched long and far for the perfect team. Megan and vishnu surpassed all expectations we had and were the best part of our wedding now that we can relive our day over and over!

I would 100% recommend Meghan and Vishnu from Adventure Stories by Us. The photography was probably one of the most important things to me for my wedding, and they nailed it. I cant stop posting and framing my photos because they are so gorgeous. Everyone who sees my wedding photos mentions that the photographers must be amazing! We first saw the look and feel of the Adventure Stories photography on the website while planning and we were hooked. We just loved the dramatic quality and beauty, and that their love for nature matches ours. We then met with Megan to discuss in person and we were sold! Adventure Stories by Us first captured our attention when we saw their work at the wedding venue we booked our wedding with . Initially, i was apprehensive about the photographers they had available, but as soon as I saw they had hired someone new... I knew they were the perfect fit for my vision. They have a dramatic flare to their work and are so easy to work with. They instantly make you feel comfortable. My fiance and I felt as though we'd known them forever after our first meeting. The photographer, besides the couple is the most important aspect of the wedding. This is a lot of pressure on the couple to pick a photographer to showcase their wedding for the rest of their lives, you get one shot! Picking Megan and Vishnu was the best decision i could have made! Now that my photos are complete I can not describe the happiness and joy that I feel. They were a dream team. My wedding photos are a fairytale, capturing our love naturally. Everyone I have shown our photos too say they belong in a magazine and they are the most, and i quote “STUNNING” wedding photos they have ever seen. I could not agree more, I have looked at them over 100 times and am already planning which photos are going where all over our house! My favorite part of working with Megan and Vishnu is that they captured us so naturally. My husband who hates taking photos (typical guy) felt so comfortable and our photos turned out to be magical. They knew our venue so well and were able to give us fairytale photos in all different locations of the venue. If I were to describe this experience to my maid of honor I would say, if you want stunning photos that you will LOVE for the rest of your life you need to pick my photographer. They capture your day perfectly and when you look back at these memories you will be filled with joy that they captured your love in a magical way.

Adventure Stories by Us recently shot our engagement session at Joshua Tree and words can’t explain how pleased we are with our photos. Megan and Vishnu were so professional and easy going that it made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera. They were amazing at capturing candid moments as well as the beautiful landscaping that surrounded us. Their style of shooting is truly one of a kind and we can’t wait for them to photograph our wedding next year.

Working with Meghan and Vishnu for our wedding shoot was such a delight! They are such a fun, positive and easy going couple, which helped turn what could have been such a stressful day into a breeze. In additional to being awesome people, they are an extremely talented couple with an authentic style. My husband and I were so pleased to be able to relive each moment that took place on our wedding day – from are our first kiss to the comical family soul train line – thanks to the couple! We are obsessed with our wedding pictures! When we started wedding planning we originally booked a different photographer until I saw pictures from Adventure Stories. I immediately cancelled our photographer to start planning with Megan and Vishnu. The conversation and planning was so smooth and friendly. I came up with so many requests and they incorporated everything with an amazing patience. I immediately felt like i was talking to a friend. On our wedding day they were on time, took amazing detail shots and my entire family and friends loved them, including me and my husband. We only regret that they didn’t take our wedding video as well! We highly recommend them!

Vishnu and Megan were great. They spent 8 hours with us and got photos of us getting ready, the wedding ceremony, photos after the wedding, and photos of the reception. They were awesome and attentive! They took the photos we wanted and asked for and then they invited us to take a few creative shots that we would never have asked for on our own. They all turned out awesome, and they edited them to perfection. So happy that we went with these two.

Vishnu and Megan are absolutely amazing! They knew exactly how to create my dream engagement into a reality. Everything to the spectacular details to capturing every breath taking moment between me and the man of dreams. Vishnu and Megan are extremely professional and easy to work with. We had asked for a breathtaking views and scenery for our engagement photos and that’s exactly what got in Yosemite. One thing for sure is you will not regret using Adventure Stories by Us, whether it be for your engagement photos or wedding.

Megan and Vishnu’s Story telling is unmatched by any in their field. We were super on the fence about adding video mostly because of budgetary reasons. My MOH ended up convincing me it was a must and I’m so glad she did because it led me to the only people I would trust telling our story. Before Megan and Vishnu I had a so so impression of all wedding videos - all I could think of was my aunts hour long wedding video that was mostly guests jumping in front of the camera during the receptions to “say something nice about the bride and groom”. I absolutely was not interested in that type of antiquated, outdated video. Like I mentioned before, Megan and Vishnu’s take on story telling is unmatched. They aim to tell the story of the day rather than simply compiling clips together with music. They hang back and document every raw emotion of not just myself and my husband, but our guests and family too. Hands down the best!

Our wedding was definitely not traditional! This was our second marriage for both of us, and since we each had kids, our wedding was all about the unity of our two families. Megan and Vishnu totally connected with our vision of what we wanted our wedding to look like and incorporated our kids at every aspect. We met with them in person about a year before our wedding, discussed all the details and kept in contact along the way. I loved that they checked in with us every couple of months to see if we had any questions or needed anything - definitely a comforting touch! Fast forward a year later, they remember every detail and the wedding went off without a hitch! Definitely coming back to Megan and Vishnu for any major life events.

Where to start? Megan and Vishnu lived up to all of mine and my fiancé’s expectations, and more. We had no clue as to where to start in the wedding planning process, once we found Megan and Vishnu we felt so much more at ease. Obviously they are not wedding coordinators, but since we felt so lost, we constantly asked their opinion on various aspects of our wedding and they were happy to oblige. And can we talk about our photos and video?! Beyond beautiful! They have such a unique and artistic take on life, and it was reflected in our wedding video and photos. We could not be more happy, thank you Megan and Vishnu!

Megan and Vishnu were fun and easy to work with, from the initial planning phases all the way through the wedding itself. They really listened and worked to help us capture exactly what we wanted, while also adding a bit of their trademark timeless feel. Their use of lighting is quite simply stunning. Looking through our photos, we loved how they were able to capture so many of the little details and candid moments throughout the reception. Family photos went smoothly, even letting us out early enough to enjoy cocktail hour. Their posing felt natural and made for some great moments. We wouldn't trust anyone else to so perfectly capture such important moments, and will be back to work with them in the future.

What can we say, other than "WOW"! Still in aww with how amazing the Pictures came out! They line our hallways & Bedroom wall! We couldn't be happier & thank you for taking the time to do incredible work! I would recommend Adventure Stories to anyone looking for amazing photos. Our one year anniversary is right around the corner, June 14th! We wish we could go back to that day in person, but since we can, we just look at our pictures and play that day back in our minds!! Megan and Vishnu made our day! We fell in love with their photography while touring a venue about a year before our wedding and decided on them before we even chose a venue. We reached out to them about 10 months before our wedding to purchase our package and had a phone call to discuss all the details, and really fell in love with the people behind the lens. Megan and Vishnu are so down to earth and accommodated our every wish. They have great ideas and are so detail oriented that I felt at ease. I’m a very type A person (hello ICU nurse here) and they had everything down to a science. Our engagement photoshoot gave us the chance to really get to know them and we felt even more at ease on our wedding day. Our wedding day had a slight hiccup when a table fell on Vishnu, but like the true professionals they are, they kept going and acted like it never happened! I was absolutely in shock because I would never expect them to just bandage Vishnu up and keep going, but they did. They’re truly so selfless and put a couple at ease no matter the issue. This was my husband and I first wedding to give to one of our children (my daughter’s). While we choose Villa de Amore in Temecula as the venue for the reason it was all inclusive, it still gave us photography choices. While looking into through each photographer’s portfolios, Adventure Stories by Us stood out by far! I must say, please, please add the video story. It is so worth every single dollar! We also chose all the photos which was also worth it! It rained the day of her wedding but the photos just turned out amazing. They are such a professional and amazing group who listen to what you want and give you that and more! I will choose them over and over for big events in our lives! Could not recommend anyone else!

We loved working with Megan and Vishnu for our engagement photoshoot at Torrey Pines, and are incredibly happy with the outcome of the pictures! We were originally drawn to their dramatic photography style and knew they would be the best ones to work with the challenging lighting and landscape of Torrey Pines. Megan and Vishnu were able to capture our relationship so candidly, in a natural and un-posed manner.Our pictures are the perfect balance of dramatic scenery and sweet moments.
