Planning a Michigan wedding from Florida was effortless because we had Alex and Caitlin, 10/10 would recommend! We knew from our initial interview with Affinity Events that we were in great hands. Their overall professionalism and understanding of the industry and area in which our wedding was is unmatched. The attention to detail in the planning, budgeting, and on the day of our wedding put my wife and I at ease and as a result we could focus on our guests and each other. Thank you, Alex and Caitlin, for helping us make the memories that will last us a lifetime!

We got married at Clearwater Place in Grand Rapids, MI in July 2023, and Sophie, our wedding coordinator, was the best. We purchased the bronze package about 5 months into our wedding planning, for extra assistance with pulling all the final details together and confirming vendors the month before. It was just what we needed! Highly recommend adding the assistance with tear down, as well, if your vendor requires you to be out the night of. Leading up to the big day, Sophie was thoughtful with her communication. She would check in to see to if we needed additional recommendations for local vendors, or just on our overall well-being during the stressful wedding planning process. She was always willing to offer compassionate, listening supports. Sophie provided helpful tips on staying organized for the big day and how to tip vendors, the week before, which helped our day run more smoothly than ever expected. The day off, she and her assistant, Ellie, made us feel so confident and secure that everything would run smoothly, which it did! They kept everything on track, made sure everything was set up perfectly and coordinated very professionally with the other vendors as they arrived. We are so grateful for their help and would highly recommend them!

I knew I wanted a day of coordinator to help do things I couldn’t do, like set up and tear down our personal items for the day, but Karmen & Amanda were so much more than that. They eased so much of my anxiety, and I don’t think our day would have been as amazing as it was without them. Karmen was our lead coordinator, she had the perfect calming personality but was also kind of like a mama bear who would do anything for us! I am so glad we chose affinity, and even happier that we had Karmen & Amanda!

Alex was everything and more we could have hoped when wedding planning. She helped with the finite details to make sure our day was perfect. On the day, it was smoothing sailing. Everyone was where they needed to be and she took extra care of the bride. HIGHLY recommend.

When we started planning our daughter’s wedding, we thought that we would be able to handle all of the details. It didn’t take us long to realize that a day of coordinator would be very helpful. We contacted Affinity Events and Karmen was with us every step of the way. Her kind and calm guidance made the planning process fun and easy. When I felt like we were going to fail at planning the wedding, she was always there to guide us with her calm reassurance and clear direction. As the wedding date got closer, she contacted our vendors and made sure that we were good to go. All of the help leading up to the wedding was incredible, but I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Karmen and her team on the day of the wedding. When the florist was considerably late for set up, she handled things calmly. When I was panicking, she was not and her calm demeanor and professionalism allowed me to enjoy getting ready with my daughter. We had rented dishes and stemware that Karmen and her team managed beautifully. I am a seasoned party planner and thought that I could handle the wedding without a day of coordinator. I am so glad that I listened to the advice of another mom. With Karmen’s help, my daughter and I had fun planning all of the details of the day. I didn’t have to be “Mrs. Bossyhead” about making decisions, Karmen handled that in a way that eased the stress. Weddings are expensive and we wanted our guests to enjoy the celebration. The money we spent with Affinity Events was the best value of all of our vendors…I will continue to pass along the fabulous advice given to me…hire a day of coordinator and if Karmen is available at Affinity Events, you will be in great hands. We felt like she was part of our family by the end of the process!

1000% book them!!! We found Affinity Events based off of the recommendation of my brother-in-law who is a DJ and worked with them in the past. We opted for the day of package, including set up/tear down & photo booth rental. Alex was our lead coordinator, and we could not be more impressed and happy with her and the entire company. During planning she was there to discuss any questions or concerns we had, make sure I was organized through planning and relieve any stress. Everyone was so professional and kind and helped our vision come to life. Throughout the day she would check-in on us to make sure we were ok, had whatever we needed and keep us on track. She also helped my mom/aunt/and sister organize the best surprise of playing a song from my dad to be played at the reception (he passed away when I was young); there wasn't a dry eye after this. Cleanup was the best thing to add on as we did not have to lift a finger. They were so quick and organized. We didn't even notice them working through packing things up. My fiancé even commented how after saying goodbye to people, he wasn't looking forward to the cleanup but when he walked back into the reception space it was all done. Everyone loved the photo booth and had fun with all the props. We got so many compliments about Alex and her team; their friendliness, professionalism, and how well they managed the entire event. We could not be happier with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Alex and Ellie were our day-of-coordinators and they were absolutely fabulous! Our wedding was fairly DIY, but we knew we wanted the day to be stress free and it 100% was. They were very detail oriented and I felt very safe knowing that they had everything handled. The day went so smoothly and it would not have been possible without their help!

Caitlin & Karmen were SO amazing!! They did everything for us you could even think of to make our day go as smoothly as possible! To help our vision come alive, setting up, tearing down, fixing dress & hair before walking down the aisle!!! They were so helpful in so many ways & we have developed a good friendship now that the wedding is over. I highly recommend hiring affinity events for coordinators! ♥️

Sophie B was our lead for our big day and there are not enough characters provided in this review to fully explain how wonderful she was! She and her assistant Amanda worked well together and did everything in their power to make my vision come to life. They were friendly, confident, and organized. Myself, my husband, and our families were able to truly relax and enjoy our big day knowing that Sophie and Amanda were taking care of every detail. They were engaged throughout the process and were patient with all my questions, tweaks, and conversation leading up to the day. Our day would not have been the same without Sophie and Affinity Events. I couldn't recommend Sophie and Amanda enough to all brides who are hoping for a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

I absolutely ADORE this group and can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so magical and perfect. Caitlin and her team were amazing from the first inquiry to wrapping up at the end of the wedding night. It was so important to us that our families were able to enjoy the day and not feel like they needed to keep things running, so we knew we wanted an event coordinator to help. We saw Alex and Caitlin in action at a previous wedding in 2021 and were so impressed with how efficient and professional they were. Working with a venue that had a very tight timeline, they ensured setup, flipping the space, and tear down all went smoothly. Caitlin communicated with every one of our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page and where they needed to be and when. When we had a small issue with a vendor the morning of the wedding, Caitlin was on it and resolved it quickly. We also had the Affinity Booth at our wedding which was such a hit! We received a Google file of all the photos a few days after the wedding which was so much fun to look through together. On top of being amazing professionals, they are the nicest people who I felt were friends of mine by the end of the wedding planning process. They brought my vision to life and kept me completely worry free from planning to the end of the wedding day, I can't thank you enough for being such an integral part of our wedding!

Alex and her team were a huge blessing on our wedding day. There were a few hiccups with catering and the bar. Alex handled it without my new husband and I knowing it happened. The day was perfect. We didn’t have to stress about anything and all of our friends and family were able to enjoy themselves because Alex and her team had everything under control. I highly recommend using a day of coordinator and Affinity Events is top notch!

We originally weren't going to hire wedding planners as the venue we booked at assured us it wasn't necessary. We had to scramble to find someone to help us within the last few months as the venue was not as organized as they had promised to be. Affinity Events swooped in and saved the day. From our frantic calls and texts, to making sure the day of went perfectly, we cannot recommend them more. Absolutely amazing wedding planners.

We had a great experience with Caitlin! She set up our reception and ceremony flawlessly and continued to check in with us. Caitlin and Ali did a great job of making sure our wedding went smoothly and followed our timeline. We would recommend them to anyone!
