Affinity Events was indispensable in creating our magical wedding day. Our coordinator Hayden was always so kind and helpful. He was always available to answer any questions we had, whether they be big or small. My husband and I had never planned a wedding before, and the process can be so overwhelming. Hayden helped us see the forest through the trees and cleared up any confusion we had during the planning process. During the rehearsal Hayden made sure everyone was where they needed to be and was instrumental in our ceremony running smoothly on the day of. Even when we threw curveballs at him Hayden always managed it smoothly and figured it out. On the day of Hayden and Megan were everywhere! They decorated our venue and made sure it looked how I imagined, finding ways to incorporate as many of the vintage pieces I thrifted as I wanted. Megan learned how to decorate a cake with flowers and did an incredible job! Hayden always made sure my husband and I were where we needed to be, that things were running smoothly, and he coordinated with all the other vendors. He continuously checked in with us during the wedding day to make sure things were going smoothly and helped us pivot when needed, like when our wedding cake began to melt in 84-degree heat, so we just moved the cake cutting time up, and it was executed seamlessly. After my husband and I left the venue Hayden coordinated with our family and bridal party to make sure everything was packed up. It is hard to truly discuss everything that Hayden and Megan did for us as they were so integral to the flawless execution of our wedding day. Affinity Events made sure that we were as stress free as possible on our wedding day. I cannot recommend hiring them enough.

We worked with Caitlin and I can’t express just how amazingly helpful and patient she was with us. We had an at-home (backyard) wedding with around 250 guests which presented many challenges for us, but Caitlin with Affinity answered our one million questions quickly and kindly. We have a big family and the day-of was tense making sure set up was done on time, but Caitlin handled everything that came her way with grace and kindness. She also kept everyone in line when needed, in a very professional manner. We loved Caitlin and Natalie’s (her assistant) help and attitude! <3 we honestly couldn’t be more grateful!

Highly recommend adding the assistance with tear down, as well, if your vendor requires you to be out the night of. Leading up to the big day, Sophie was thoughtful with her communication. She would check in to see to if we needed additional recommendations for local vendors, or just on our overall well-being during the stressful wedding planning process. She was always willing to offer compassionate, listening supports. Sophie provided helpful tips on staying organized for the big day and how to tip vendors, the week before, which helped our day run more smoothly than ever expected. The day off, she and her assistant, Ellie, made us feel so confident and secure that everything would run smoothly, which it did! When I felt like we were going to fail at planning the wedding, she was always there to guide us with her calm reassurance and clear direction. As the wedding date got closer, she contacted our vendors and made sure that we were good to go. All of the help leading up to the wedding was incredible, but I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Karmen and her team on the day of the wedding. When the florist was considerably late for set up, she handled things calmly. When I was panicking, she was not and her calm demeanor and professionalism allowed me to enjoy getting ready with my daughter. We had rented dishes and stemware that Karmen and her team managed beautifully. I am a seasoned party planner and thought that I could handle the wedding without a day of coordinator. I am so glad that I listened to the advice of another mom. With Karmen’s help, my daughter and I had fun planning all of the details of the day. I didn’t have to be “Mrs. Bossyhead” about making decisions, Karmen handled that in a way that eased the stress. Weddings are expensive and we wanted our guests to enjoy the celebration. During planning she was there to discuss any questions or concerns we had, make sure I was organized through planning and relieve any stress. Everyone was so professional and kind and helped our vision come to life. Throughout the day she would check-in on us to make sure we were ok, had whatever we needed and keep us on track. She also helped my mom/aunt/and sister organize the best surprise of playing a song from my dad to be played at the reception (he passed away when I was young); there wasn't a dry eye after this. Cleanup was the best thing to add on as we did not have to lift a finger. They were so quick and organized. We didn't even notice them working through packing things up. My fiancé even commented how after saying goodbye to people, he wasn't looking forward to the cleanup but when he walked back into the reception space it was all done. Everyone loved the photo booth and had fun with all the props. We got so many compliments about Alex and her team; their friendliness, professionalism, and how well they managed the entire event. It was so important to us that our families were able to enjoy the day and not feel like they needed to keep things running, so we knew we wanted an event coordinator to help. We saw Alex and Caitlin in action at a previous wedding in 2021 and were so impressed with how efficient and professional they were. Working with a venue that had a very tight timeline, they ensured setup, flipping the space, and tear down all went smoothly. Caitlin communicated with every one of our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page and where they needed to be and when. When we had a small issue with a vendor the morning of the wedding, Caitlin was on it and resolved it quickly. We also had the Affinity Booth at our wedding which was such a hit! We received a Google file of all the photos a few days after the wedding which was so much fun to look through together. On top of being amazing professionals, they are the nicest people who I felt were friends of mine by the end of the wedding planning process.
