Affinity Riverside Estate offers multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces. Each option is flexible, so couples can personalize the area to fit their unique style. You can say 'I do' in the shade of the towering tree canopy romantic courtyard under the large wooden arbor. Another popular choice is the lake house-inspired main level, which has a capacity of 150 guests and features a rock bar, a gas log fireplace, and large climate-controlled decks with cafe and branch lighting. For a more casual setting, the eclectic Black Cat Lounge is ideal and can accommodate up to 100 people. The outside area boasts a cigar lounge and climate-controlled deck. Enjoy the fresh air with up to 200 loved ones on the Riverside Terrace. We got married Friday, October 21st, and everything was so perfect. I fell in love with the venue the moment I stepped into it and the all-inclusive package was a life saver for all of the immense wedding stress. It was so nice to know that I had someone working for me with the wedding planning from the food, to the DJ, to day of coordination. A huge selling point that we loved was the photo booth!
All of our guests had the most amazing time getting to sneak into the photo booth with the affinity provided props and got their pictures printed right then and there! It was a huge talking point of our wedding.
The grounds and venue are just absolutely breath taking. Tracy and Mark truly know their stuff and do a great job of setting everything up and making the day of as stress free as I could possibly imagine. We loved the mimosas as we were getting ready and the guys loved the whiskey/cigar bar. The food too....oh my gosh! We got the pasta bar and we had SO many people tell us how amazing it was and that it's the best wedding food they had ever tasted.
The DJ, Erin, was PHENOMINAL!!!! She helped make everything so light hearted and fun and helped us make all of our ideas a reality from coordinating our ideas to even playing almost every song we sent from our playlist!! Every staff member was very professional and worked very hard to ensure we had the best day possible -- and we definitely did.

I was a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding. It was chaotic and I know the couple was stressed. There wasn’t a coordinator like they said there would be, and if there was then they didn’t do a good job. Everyone was rushed it felt like. My friends were promised things but it never happened.

led to this review.
Of course this wedding was a reschedule due to military service so we worked hard to reschedule on a prime date although different events were already scheduled. This was the reason we were unable to accommodate a staffed rehearsal run through the night before the wedding. This was clearly discussed in the final planning meeting (which this particular person was not in attendance). After being assured by the bride that all guests would be informed to meet in a certain area and the ceremony officiant could do the rehearsal run through, no problem, no staffing needed, we hesitantly honored her request for a non-staffed run through. That clearly was not a good decision on our behalf and we assume full responsibility for it.
Upon review, we feel like these complaints would’ve been completely avoidable had we simply declined the Bride’s request to do a rehearsal when no staffing was available to assist. A quick run through with the day of coordinator the morning of the wedding would have prevented such confusion.
A review like this is absolutely maddening, not only because of how hard we all work to make it all happen, but because there were no less than 8 wedding guests who came up to the bar specifically to let the staff know how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, etc. We sure wish those guests would’ve taken the time to give their opinion in a public forum but sadly, reviewing is normally a game for the angry… happy people simply don’t think about it and realize how important ALL honest heart felt reviews are for a hard-working small business like Affinity.
All in all This was an absolutely gorgeous wedding, gorgeous photos. This review from the brides “best friend” makes it sound like it was an absolutely terrible wedding from start to finish. It simply was not.
My daughter got married here and like any wedding there were a couple hiccups (huge unexpected storm, mic trouble, lights went out, etc) but Affinity went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok, including moving the dance floor last minute because of the storm and they even included my favorite wine in bridal suite. Not to mention they went above and beyond when it came to my food allergies. I can honestly say the people at affinity feel more like family now than just a face. Thanks, Tracy, Teresa and everyone else, we appreciate all you did.

This place is incredible! From the very first moment we reached out to our special day, the venue owners, Tracy and Mark, were the most amazing people to work with! They truly go above and beyond to make your day exactly how you want it. What I really loved was that they did the catering, the decor, and the DJ. Instead of having to work with a bunch of different vendors, I only had to work with them. That takes so much stress off us as a couple. The amazing part about the owners is they really take the time to get to know you, your style, and what your relationship is like. They truly care for their couples, and the grounds are beautiful!!!

Affinity Riverside Estate is an EXCEPTIONAL place to have your wedding! They offer their own catering and DJ so you only have to pay one bill and don't have to communicate with a million different companies. Tracy was absolutely spectacular and basically doubles as a coordinator. She made sure everything happened when it was supposed to, and she even found me a new bakery when my cake got cancelled TWO DAYS before my wedding. Very easy to work with and made the whole planning part a lot less stressful! Not to mention the indoor and outdoor parts of the venue are all beautiful. We had our ceremony outdoors and reception indoors and it was perfect!
We wanted a intimate setting with a rustic feel- this venue was exactly that. I called and was able to talk to the owner immediately and set up a preview! Tracy went through all my options for booking and offered a one stop shop experience- they have an amazing in house cater that made the process seamless. Tracy was there through the entire 6 month engagement, answering all my silly questions. The day of was perfect and everything I hopped it would be. Tracy and mark pour everything into their place - and it shows. Highly recommend
Affinity was the perfect venue for us! Tracy and Mark were attentive and made sure we were happy with every decision made. It would be dang near impossible to find a venue this beautiful and owners this accommodating anywhere else in Missouri.

You do not only get one of the most unique venues when you book Affinity, but you also get the most genuine, kind, helpful, hardworking, and flexible owners. New owners Tracy and Mark have done so many upgrades to the venue to make it even more beautiful and unique. Multiple guests said they wished they could have had their wedding here. If you are looking for a venue for around 200 guests--look no further! You will not regret booking Affinity.

This is an incredibly beautiful and unique indoor/outdoor wedding venue. The new owners have done a ton of maintenance, reorganization, etc.. This place is a MUST SEE!
