Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals

This company worked with me endlessly on my quote. They even drew up a “under the tent” diagram to make sure I got the right size tent. They took stuff off, added things, and were very very prompt with their emails. Their prices were the cheapest I found, but still had quality items! We were very very pleased with this company and would definitely rent from them again if needed!

Great staff and had a great experience with Affordable & Luxury Events. My husband is in the military and was getting deployed 8 months sooner than we expected. They helped me plan a last minute family wedding. We rented a tent, tables and chairs. Will use them again in the fall when we plan a reception.

Horrible delivery men. The office staff was very nice and the owner was nice. I got married in Sandbridge and the men who showed up for delivery must have felt that they didn't feel like walking because they tried to drive their truck up a sand walkway. Their truck got stuck and they broke the fence of the neighboring home. They expected my father(father of the bride) to tow their truck out. They set up the chairs and chuppah as requested, but didn't feel like setting up the shepherds hooks so they just dropped them in the sand in the driveway. When I called the owner refunded the shepherd hook cost but wasn't the friendliest.

Very happy with the services we received with Affordable. Our wedding was a huge success! We had a tented event in my grandmother's back yard. I was so nervous about the weather, but Joann was great to work with and was always easy to reach with any questions. The delivery crew was EXCEPTIONAL! I am and was so happy with their services. My wedding was amazing :)

I rented with Affordable for my wedding on Saturday, the dance floor that was suppose to arrive on Friday (the week before they said Thursday) with my chairs and tables never showed with my chairs and tables. The driver said that it was on a truck following right behind him, this was at 1:00pm. When 6:30 came around and still had no dance floor, WE HAD to call them and they said that it would be there at 10am the next day, THE DAY OF MY WEDDING! When 10am came around there were still no dance floor, we called and talked to the manager and she said they should be pulling in the driveway, an hour later the dance floor showed up (the driveway doesn't take an hour to drive down). After dealing with all of their unpleasant drivers it was finally time for my wedding when getting to the reception two of the chairs had already broke, my cousin who weighs 90 pounds had a huge bruise on her side (so weight was not an issue) and one of my bridesmaids fathers had hit the ground too. After the wedding the next day we were cleaning up we realized one of the table legs were so rusted it was about to fall off. I have been calling to talk about the situations, not looking for anything but maybe some sympathy for all of the hassle I had to go through on my wedding day and they do not care. The manager tells me that I did not have to sit there and wait for the dancefloor but any bride will tell you all the table settings revolve around the dancefloor and I wanted to make sure it was in the correct spot, I was late for my hair appointment from waiting. All of the problems somehow became a result of something I did when all that happened was I paid a ridiculous amount of money for horrible products and the company does not care. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Your wedding day should be just as you want it and you should not have to have the worry of someone falling out of a chair and hurting themselves or a table falling and catching your venue on fire. In the midst of all of the horrible of this company they also tell you the date of your pick up but in small print on the contract somewhere they can pick it up two days later. Therefore the venue that I got married at (a family friends horse arena) the pickup is now Tuesday or Wednesday, he can now not have anyone ride their horses he boards all because the Monday pickup I was told was happening has been changed for THEIR convenience. Customer service is definitely not anything they have.

Joann, the owner is very friendly. Tent, chairs, and tables looked beautiful. They forgot to deliver a table linen but everything else was great. Great customer service.

I called Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals the week of my wedding due to an emergency issue with another vendor that left me chairless. The front desk was incredibly professional and prompt and were able to send us our contract within minutes. Unfortunately, when my husband picked up the resin chairs we asked for, one of the managers walked out and told him that he couldn't take them because they were specifically for delivery customers only, and gave him white metal Samsonite chairs. When I saw that there must've clearly been a mistake, I called the office and spoke to another manager who stated that there were three different types of chairs they offer and the chairs I'd actually requested were all reserved. Being that it was the day before my wedding, we used what we had, and I let the manager know that I'd be in to discuss the issue at hand on Monday. After speaking with the manager that gave my husband the "non-delivery" chairs, and being told rudely and repeatedly "We've never had this problem before, I don't know what to tell you", it's been made clear that Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals are not in the business of taking responsibility for their own clerical errors and care very little about their customer satisfaction. It's incredibly disheartening and unfortunate that this is their way of doing business. Future brides, heed with caution.

We rented chair covers and sashes from Affordable. It was an easy process and had a wonderful showroom we could stop by anytime to pick out our rentals. The covers fit perfectly!

We would like to thank you for your part in creating such a wonderful wedding for us. We appreciate all of the time you spent helping us to pick out every little detail until it was just right. The tables turned out beautifully and so did the overall presentation. You worked with us regardless of how small or big the request was and you always came through. You also were very open and maintained a friendly and professional atmosphere. Working with you has been one of our best customer service experiences either one of us has had.

We had a small wedding over the Holiday weekend with just family in Sandbridge. Since we were coming in from out of town they were very accomodating with picking up our items and returning them. They sent email pictures of all the rental items and when we picked them up and were just what we expected.

Affordable did a wonderful job from start to finish with my wedding. Jo Ann was so helpful with meeting me several times at ther showroom over the weekend. I did not have a wedding planner so I had a lot of decisions to make and she was so kind and helpful. I would recommend Affordable and Jo Ann to everyone getting married! I rented a 30x30 tent for the ceremony. They were very easy and helpful to work with. No problems with the delivery/set-up and pick-up.

I was an out of town Bride I was stressing out by not having a planner and not knowing the area so after researching party rentals in Virginia Beach and reading reviews I decided to meet with Joann. She was delightful, the showroom was beautiful and I got to see actual photos of events they have done. My tent looked awesome and the staff was polite as they were entering on our familys property. I will gladly turn to them for any of my future needs.

JO ANN made my rental process so easy we started with a different company who ended up not being able to do evreything we needed and affordable tents and luxury could do it all and for an even better price

My daughter was married at The Signature at West Neck, May 13, 2011. Afforadable Tent did the draping in the tent on the veranda. It looked amazing. Thank you Joanne for all you did. I didn't get a chance to meet you but we appreicate all your efforts to make the tent look like a "dream tent" . My daughter and her husband loved it. Thank you for prompt delivery of all the tables, chairs etc...Thank you for working so closely with Staci to make this wedding happen!!!

Joann did a spectacular job for my daugherty Liz's big day. It looked like something out of a magazine after she worked her magic. They were professional and paid so much attention to detail and had a pleasant and patient demeanor through all of the last minute changes and mini-breakdowns!! Thanks to Affordable they are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone.

Thank you to Affordable! They were easy to reach and have a GREAT showroom. Joann helped me pick out my linens, china and chairs. All my items were delivered on time and in great shape! I would recommend them to everyone who is getting married!

My wedding was in February of this year. The staff was great and helpful. The equipment was delivered on time and they picked up when they were supposed to. All the equipment was clean and in good condition. The girls in the office were really helpful and easy to work with. I went to another company and they were not very nice and would not even call me back!

Affordable was great. Everything was delivered on time and the staff was really nice. They followed up by calling me to make sure I had no changes. All the renals were in great condition and they had an amazing selection of linens!

Affordable & Luxury Tents is great. They have a new showroom at the oceanfront with everything you can possibly want for a wedding. Joann was so helpful and so was the staff. They were on time and all items were clean and neat. My family was so happy with the service!!! Thanks, Megan
