Elizabeth is the best of the best. I'm a Type-A bride who needed a true expert to help with planning and executing a dream wedding of 250 people and Elizabeth delivered above-and-beyond throughout the entire process. Every planning meeting, text message, call, email and communication was timely, responsive, kind and professional. It's clear that Elizabeth is an organized, veteran planner who is highly respected in her industry.
She handled many behind-the-scenes things (budgets, contracts, timeline, negotiation, etc.) that allowed me to truly enjoy the planning process. The biggest benefit was that Elizabeth executed a flawless day-of event. She was able to do this not only because of her experience, but I felt that she fully understood my vision and took genuine care of every single thing on wedding day. In turn, this all allowed me to be calm and be fully present for my big day - which was completely priceless!!

Wow - I can't say better things about After Yes. Working with Elizabeth made our wedding unforgettable, and I can't imagine the day without her. Not only does she have amazing connections and make wonderful recommendations, she also was so pleasant to work with. Anytime anything stressful would come up, Elizabeth made everything feel so calm and relaxed. She was so organized and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process, but we were most grateful for her on our actual wedding day. She made sure that everything went smoothly with no hiccups, and did a great job at making sure that the day was perfect for us (stayed on time, made sure we always had a drink in our hands, packed us a food bag for after the wedding, etc.). I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth! Our wedding was beyond anything we could have imagined thanks to her amazing work and efforts. Through multiple COVID reschedules, she was so on to of everything and seamlessly coordinated with our various vendors to make our big day possible. She was incredibly professional, responsive, and organized so that even when last minute/unexpected issues came up, we did not have to stress about it. She was also incredibly helpful in making recommendations for other vendors. We are so thankful for Elizabeth!
We loved working with Elizabeth. She was organized and friendly and helped us stay on track while my now-husband and I navigated busy work schedules on top of wedding planning. The day of the wedding I never felt stressed, and if anything didn't go according to plan, I don't know about it because Elizabeth and her team must have handled it! I really appreciated being able to just enjoy the day without stress because Elizabeth helped us get everything figured out well in advance of the wedding. Highly recommend!

There are not enough kind words to describe how great it was to work with Elizabeth. From the very start, she exuded total poise, composure, and kindness. Elizabeth provides the perfect amount of guidance and advice while also being totally supportive and enthusiastic about any decisions you make for your big day. She always had the utmost respect and consideration for our vision and recommended some of the greatest vendors in the area to support that vision. She is not only a lovely and wonderful person (the kind of person you want to be around on your wedding day!) but is incredibly organized and made the planning process so seamless and breezy (even with multiple postponements due to covid). Elizabeth helped us postpone our wedding twice for the COVID-19 pandemic and made that impossible situation easy to handle. She listened to what we wanted and made recommendations based on who we are and she made our dream wedding come true. On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly and we had the most wonderful day.
Booking Elizabeth was hands-down the best money spent on my wedding. She is so organized and calm and made planning a wedding during a pandemic completely stress free (I really mean it!) She does an amazing job of listening to your wedding vision and making recommendations for outstanding vendors to make your dream a reality. From the very beginning, Elizabeth was very honest and helpful with providing guidance and information. Additionally, her resources are informative and guided the entire process. Elizabeth was amazing! She was cool, calm and collected all year long and didn’t let COVID phase her or our plans! She was super responsive and always helpful. She also made the best recommendations for vendors and brought vendors to the table that we might not have found on our own... but loved! She stayed on budget and was always ahead of the game. After Yes was amazing!! She helped keep my mom and I organized since we only had about 9 months to plan and she was great to bounce ideas off of. She helped me execute my vision while giving great recommendations. Planning a wedding during COVID could have been a nightmare but Elizabeth was a calming presence and made the planning process seamless.
Day of the wedding, Elizabeth kept everything on track to make sure we stuck to the timeline and to make sure everyone was where they needed to be.
We also used her husband to design and print our custom wedding invitations/day of paper and could not have been happier! Highly recommend.

Elizabeth was absolutely amazing to work with. She had excellent recommendations for all of the vendors that we needed. She helped us plan and then re-plan our wedding and never missed a beat. She followed up with vendors, reminded me several times of the tasks I needed to accomplish, and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. An extra bonus - her husband designs invitations and create a dream invite for us! Awesome duo!
Elizabeth made our wedding planning so easy! Even in the middle of a global pandemic with plans changing regularly, she remained poised, graceful, and encouraging. I had complete confidence in her and could trust that she had everything under control. I am especially thankful for her gifts of organization and flexibility and ability to keep me on track. She also had a lot of experience at our venue (Marie Gabrielle) which was so helpful. Couldn't have done it without her :)
Elizabeth is fantastic. I was the father of the bride. My wife and daughter chose Elizabeth to plan the wedding and I am very glad they did. Elizabeth was always aware of and managed all the details. Our wedding was particularly challenging from a coordination perspective. Elizabeth made it look easy. She made the wedding so much more special as I could savor every moment. I highly recommend Elizabeth and would certainly use her again.
May be good for some, but not a great match for us. We ended up finding several of our own vendors and were not getting the best price when she got quotes (in a case when we independently got a quote from another vendor, the vendor she recommended offered an additional discount- why were we not getting the best rate to start with?). When cancelling our event due to covid, we hoped to get some discount from some vendors and asked about an option such as donate services to another couple and were told this was “not really feasible/realistic” but we could ask for ourselves. I did not feel that she was empathetic to the situation from the couples perspective. We feel we paid a very high price for very little service.
Elizabeth is the best! She is so knowledgable, calming, and helpful. She helped my husband and I have the best night of our lives. Everything went off without a hitch - or if there was a problem, it was taken care of without me even knowing so I could enjoy myself. I am so thankful for her and Claire!
Elizabeth is an absolute pleasure to work with, and a lifesaver when something goes wrong (which is always the case at least once with any wedding or event!) I can't sing her praises enough and highly recommend her to anyone who is hoping to plan a beautiful, memorable event that doesn't cost your sanity.
We debated on hiring a planner because of the added cost, but we are SO thankful we did - the value of the service Elizabeth provides far outweighs the cost. She is personable, kind, professional and genuinely cares for her clients and their events. She went above and beyond at every turn and I felt like I had a true partner in the planning process that I could trust and rely on.
After Yes helped me pull together 2 spectacular wedding celebration events (1 family dinner at The Mansion post-ceremony and 1 black tie reception/private dinner the next week with a larger group of friends and family group at Mercat) in only 6 weeks!
Her knowledge about local vendors and extensive experience in the Dallas planning space ensured the decision making process was expediently seamless - invaluable for brides/grooms who are busy professionals.
It is obvious Elizabeth is passionate about her craft and cares for her clients. When we had a major venue issue 2 weeks(!!) prior to the event, she made herself immediately available and helped solve the problem within a couple of days, even though she was on holiday with her family and vendors were shutting down for the Thanksgiving break...something I will always be grateful for.

Elizabeth was probably the smartest vendor I hired for our wedding - we used her as a day-of coordinator. She was super organized, calm, knowledgeable, and responsive. Luckily, we didn't have any major issues on our wedding day (probably because she was so helpful), but any minor snafus she was super on top of. I highly recommend her!
Elizabeth was literally a life saver at my wedding and for months beforehand. I was living 6 hours away from the venue and in law school. Basically, I was a very hands off bride. Elizabeth handled everything for me and I mean HANDLED it. She recommended vendors, she went to meetings, she got be back on track when I got overwhelmed. She even made it possible to customize my wedding in the coolest way possible. She worked with the venue and we figured out a way to hoist my 900 pound Harley onto the second floor of the event venue. (Which was a first for the venue). I loved everything about my wedding and her help along the way. 5 massive stars.

Hiring After Yes was the best decision in our wedding planning experience! At first, I was unsure if I wanted a wedding planner. Now that it's over, I can't imagine doing the process without After Yes! If you still want to be involved in every detail, but are too busy to do all of the research and coordination yourself, After Yes is a perfect fit. Elizabeth would ask about our vision and then send me a few vendors or ideas to look into each step of the way - this saved us so much time and all of her recommendations turned out perfect. How do I even put into words the love and appreciation I feel for Elizabeth and Claire?
I was recommended After Yes by a fellow bride who planned her Dallas wedding remotely. Living in New Orleans, I worried it would be a difficult task to plan our wedding in Dallas. I could not have been more wrong.
From the beginning, Elizabeth made my wedding planning experience easy and stress-free. It's easy to get lost in a sea of vendors, with After Yes I never felt like I was drowning. Using our budget, style, and wedding date, Elizabeth provided available vendors fitting our needs and we chose who we felt fit best. I wouldn't change a single vendor choice we made.
The team at After Yes was so accommodating and understanding of our busy schedules and location barriers. I was frequently called a laid-back and stress-free bride by friends, family, and even strangers. This is 100% because of Elizabeth, and I made sure I left everyone know she was the source of my easy-going attitude.

It was fascinating to see how they turned empty rooms at the Hickory Street Annex into rooms filled with warmth and beauty. Their creativity and their gracious professionalism will be remembered.
SUCH an amazing experience with Elizabeth at After Yes! From the planning process to the actual day of, she was on top of absolutely everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of because she completely handled it all (this is also saying a lot because I'm a total control freak). My parents also raved about how they didn't know how she was everywhere at once but somehow she was! Love her so much and would highly highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to trust with your big day! :)
After Yes was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding. The contacts and relationships that Elizabeth has made in the area are crucial in her ability to organize and coordinate everything. She knows exactly how everyone functions and flows, as well as their expectations around communication. I would say that the day of coordination is where Elizabeth and After Yes excel. We had a few last minute hiccups come up (that were unpreventable with any sort of planning) and Elizabeth completely took them on without me having to provide any sort of instruction. She kept us within our budget and ensured that our special day was everything we wanted at the same time!
Elizabeth and Evie were amazing, thoughtful, supportive, effective, and so very kind! They anticipated questions before I asked. They took care of every detail with grace and joy. Elizabeth from After Yes was very easy to work with. She assisted my fiancé (now wife) and I about 8 weeks prior to the wedding date. She was very pleasant to work and communicate with. Her attention to detail is amazing. She was able to put all the pieces together for the weekend of our wedding (9.29.18) to make sure the stress was off our shoulders and we could just enjoy the day - and we did! We had a last minute change to our ceremony site due to unpredictable weather circumstances. She handled the pressure and added stress really well. She assured us that everything was going to be okay. With her immediate assistance we were able to secure another ceremony venue within 48 hours before the wedding date. Elizabeth and her assistant Sammy planned the day out for us down to the minute. If we had to redo our wedding planning all over again there is no other wedding planner that we would select than Elizabeth from After Yes!!!! I would highly encourage other bride and grooms to seek out Elizabeth from After Yes for wedding planning services.
Elizabeth and the team at After Yes were the ultimate godsend. I can honestly say I woke up on the day of my wedding more relaxed than any bride should ever be. Everything was done and I had all the confidence to simply enjoy the day. Do yourself a favor and hire After Yes. The folks there are worth their weight in gold. I could not have been happier with the service. They are experts. They know everything and resolve problems before you know they exist. (For example, they knew my venue had a finicky breaker box and made sure to put the band and the margarita machines on separate circuits). My husband, who thinks everything is a racket and is especially dubious of wedding planners, was ultimately convinced that After Yes was worth every penny and then some. THANK YOU AFTER YES!

After Yes is worth their weight in gold. It's hard to differentiate between all of the 5 star reviews across sooo many vendors on the internet, but I will try to do that here. I worked with Amanda Connolly at After Yes beginning a year before my wedding. As a type A bride, I completed extensive research online and in person, because I knew who I hired as a planner would set the whole tone for my event. I wanted meticulous detail for execution - this was my highest priority. And boy, did they deliver! A couple of highlights: My mom was hospitalized 2 weeks before my wedding, and right when I was supposed to be taking bridal portraits. With one Sunday afternoon call to Amanda (which like, is NOT a great time to call), she worked with vendors (photographer, florist, hair and makeup) to reschedule seriously last minute. I was able to take my portraits with my mom present, AND still have one printed for the wedding. Another testament to Amanda's professionalism is that, the day after my wedding, I found out her car had broken down at our venue midday. I honestly had NO idea, because she handled it and never let on! I can't imagine how stressful that would have been - she ended up finding a way to get to the church and was still there when I needed something from her emergency kit during first look portraits. Only later did my bridesmaids tell me how she had smoothly handled everything, and arranged for the other vendors to take charge until she could find transportation to our ceremony. Our day went off without a hitch, and was both beautiful and stress free for my family. Exactly what I wanted! Thank you Amanda (and Elizabeth)! I would recommend After Yes in a heartbeat.
After Yes saved our wedding. We had literally nothing going for us.... I had booked a venue, but had absolutely no time to work on anything else. Amanda swooped right in and got to work. She made choosing vendors a breeze! We always knew she was recommending vendors who we could trust to do a great job and keep us on budget. She was AMAZING at keeping me on task. I did an awful job at replying to e-mails, but she never got frustrated. She sent me perfectly organized little To-Do lists to keep me going. Her spreadsheets are a huge lifesaver as well. You will never feel like you are missing/forgetting anything. As great as Amanda was in the months leading up to our wedding, I was even MORE impressed on the wedding day. She was great at making sure everything went just as planned. Honestly, just having her around made me feel more relaxed. After Yes is a MUST for your wedding planning needs. I can't imaging having done it without them.

I cannot say enough good things about After Yes! From our very first meeting with Elizabeth, we knew we were working with the right team. We consider ourselves an incredibly Type-A couple but Elizabeth and Amanda still caught SO many little wedding details that we had overlooked! They were very responsive and so patient as they worked with our difficult medical and dental school schedules. The groom and I did 99% of our planning from out of town, but having After Yes in the Dallas area made our Arboretum/Perot Museum wedding events work out perfectly. The month of the wedding, Elizabeth completely took over all correspondence with our vendors so the groom and I were able to focus on school and family until the weekend of the wedding. On the week of the wedding, Elizabeth sent the vendors and the entire bridal party a detailed itinerary which eliminated all of our stress on the wedding day. She even worked with our officiant as he planned our ceremony! I don't know how they do it, but After Yes will ensure your wedding works out better than you could ever imagine! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars because this team is easily worth twice what they charge!
I don't even know where to begin in how thankful I am to have had After Yes as my wedding planners. Amanda was my point of contact throughout and she saved my sanity throughout the process and gave me a wedding that was more beautiful than my Pinterest pin dreams could have even imagined!!! She is kind but strong, understood what I needed and let me decide but gave me her professional insights in the process, and was endlessly patient when my mom and I struggled to be decisive. She was incredibly responsive the ENTIRE time and ensured that in every step of the process we had what we needed. That was all leading up to the wedding. The forecast changed a few days out and Amanda made recommendations and handled everything we needed to do to accommodate the weather. The day of, I didn't have to worry at all because I knew Amanda and Elizabeth were taking care of things. Even when things went wrong (which were out of their control), my normal worrisome self could stay focused on and be present and positive in the day knowing they had everything under control. I can't thank them enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams and then some. I can't recommend them enough and if I could have given more than 10 stars I would have in a heartbeat.
Note: I did the full service with After Yes and it was hands down worth every last penny and besides my husband, choosing them and this package was maybe the best decision I made about my wedding. :)
Amanda and Elizabeth of After Yes are the “Dream Team”! When I first contacted them, I had some ideas about what I wanted for my wedding, but I had no idea how to pull it off. Amanda took the time to understand my vision, and when everything finally came together, I was amazed! Throughout the planning process, I had a lot of questions and concerns, and Amanda was always patient and responsive and found a way to calm me down! She made sure that every detail was handled, and on the day of the wedding, all I had to do was show up! Everything was perfect, the coordination was seamless, and it would not have happened without After Yes! Thank you for a wonderful day!
Amanda and Elizabeth at After Yes are the best for wedding planning!! I was an "out of town" Bride, and therefore needed many recommendation for Dallas Vendors. Amanda and Elizabeth were able to pull out their rolodex and recommended some high quality vendors, while also staying in our budget. Amanda was the lead planner on our wedding, and made the whole planning process smooth and enjoyable. I cannot imagine planning our wedding without After Yes. It was an absolute dream, and more than we could have ever imagined.
After Yes did the most amazing job helping us plan our wedding! Elizabeth's consistent checkpoints and exceptional organization skills helped us to stay on track throughout the wedding planning process (despite our extremely busy work schedules!). I was planning my wedding in Dallas while living in another city, so I knew that a wedding planner would be helpful and hired After Yes. Little did I know just how helpful Elizabeth and Amanda truly would prove to be. Elizabeth understood my "vision" from day one, and put me in touch with the most perfect vendors to carry out that vision. Elizabeth's amazing sense of calm kept me from stressing out in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and especially on the day of where rain was in the forecast. There were so many little things Elizabeth did that I wouldn't known to do that made the wedding a huge, huge success. She kept me stay in my budget, and helped me decide what was worth spending money on and what wasn't worth it. Overall, my wedding was absolutely perfect and I truly have Elizabeth to thank! I cannot say enough about After Yes!
We worked almost exclusively with Amanda and were very happy! We got married at Dallas Arboretum (ceremony at crape myrtle allee and reception at the Camp House). I am very busy and Amanda went out of her way to work with my schedule. She was patient with my (sometimes ridiculous) requests and questions. She helped us make vendor choices (serious dream team!!), kept us on a timeline and most importantly kept us in budget. She never recommended something we couldn't afford. On the wedding weekend I was cool as a cucumber because she took care of every hiccup without getting me involved. At the reception I was not happy with the color of the linens and, although Elizabeth told me it would be impossible to change them last minute, Amanda swooped in and made it happen! Thank goodness!!The wedding turned out better than I could have imaged, our friends and family are still talking about it! Thank you Amanda!!!
One telltale measure of a wedding planners skill is how they manage emergencies. I've seen Elizabeth and Amanda handle not one, but TWO torrential downpours during outdoor Dallas weddings. They busily worked their Mary Poppins magic and handled emergency details with so much grace and speed, I don't think the brides even knew it was raining.
Do yourself a favor and hire After Yes!! Elizabeth and Amanda are the sweetest and they are so amazing at what they do. They made wedding planning a breeze and every recommendation Elizabeth had for vendors were spot on. The wedding day was seamless and I got SO many compliments on how everything turned out. I had absolutely no stresses the day of the wedding because I knew that all the coordination and small details were in good hands. Everything turned out better then I could have ever imagined. We happened to come across "After Yes" after seeing reviews on the knot. We had spoken over the phone with several other wedding planners and it was either too expensive or as if they were doing us a favor. We decided to meet with Elizabeth the owner of "After Yes", and knew she was the one for us. Her and her staff were amazing from start to finish. Planning a wedding is a huge event, and they made it so much easier in every single aspect of planning and budget. At no time did we feel pressured to do anything we did or did not want. We were so glad to have met her, and would recommend her without any reservations what so ever.
Amanda was the lead planner for our January wedding at Hickory Street Annex. As a bride living out of town, I do not think I would have been able to pull off such a beautiful and perfect day without her. Everything was planned down to the last detail and done ahead of schedule so there was minimal stress on me as the bride. Amanda was wonderful about selecting vendors that she trusted as well as ones that fit my vision. I truly enjoyed working with her and would definitely recommend her to my family and friends!
