ul. Trust me, no one was more shocked than I was. So now that I'm at this winery and I like the wine I'm looking around and this place is stunning. There are chairs outside that have gorgeous views of trees and luscious scenery. The inside with its wooden interior is so spacious and welcoming. I wish I lived closer so I could continue to come here and sample their wine.... They may have converted me lol

ews cannot be beat.l. There is a tasting room that was recently reopened after COVID, a separate outbuilding to sit and have a glass or bottle (both buildings have AC), and a variety of patio and lawn seating. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They have some snacks for sale if you’re hungry but there isn’t a full menu.
There are also some cottages for rent if you want to visit and stay onsite however I’ve never stayed in one.

Afton Montain Winery was the last vineyard at the tale end of a weekends worth to Monticello trail tastings. It was, by far, ranked as our favorite winery of the weekend! The tasting was top notch. Cindy catered the tasting to our groups person...
al preferences. No other winery did that. She also gave a great overview of the wineries history and winemakers approach to all their varietals. The wines were top notch and we had some pleasant surprises along the way, especially their approach to our favorite, the Cab Franc! After the tasting we each got a glass to enjoy on the view from the terrace with a charcuterie. A truely pleasant way to end the weekend. If Afton shipped to Tennessee, we would definitely order from them.

It was a nice place Vineyard, very large fiends and pond on the side, they also.ofder cottages for overnight staying. They close.for.general public at 6pm.and only residents of the cottage are allowed after that and that is ther time to enjoy...
we were told which was fair. We enjoyed our time.and.left in time. Croud.was nice and friendly also. Vine was okay. Okay. Again, not the kitchen here, no food to be served. They offer purchase of cheese sliced block and choice of chips boxes or olive box and some.othwr similar snacks. It was a nice and pieceful place. It is an ouside glass building where one can purchase a bottle. Or inside where one can do paid samples and purchase per glass only..
