Getting to work with Alexis and AKG Events as our wedding planner was the best decision that we made in our planning process. ​Alexis has such great energy and a get it done mentality, combined with the experience to be able to offer solutions and ideas for creating extra special moments at your wedding. Alexis immediately took all of the important planning details off of our plate so that we could focus on what mattered most to us - spending time with our friends and family. We also had no idea when we hired AKG Events for our New Year's Eve wedding that we would later deal with a flooded wedding venue just a week before our wedding. Alexis immediately and seamlessly handled all of the work that went into a last minute location change from new setup plans, timelines, rentals, transportation, florals, etc.....and with a NYE's wedding, this was all of course happening over the holiday week. In addition to handling all of these logistics, AKG Events also beautifully executed our vision. We are beyond grateful that we were able to work with such an incredibly talented and capable team - we know it was such a luxury that we were able to enjoy every special moment with our friends and family while not stressing over anything during the wedding weekend which was well worth any price.

Lexi coordinated our wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge. She was assigned to us and we could not have been happier!!! Lexi is literally one of my favorite humans. She is the absolute sweetest, so funny, so organized and put together, and literally the most responsive vendor out of all of the people we hired. She had an amazingly organized wedding planning document to keep me on track and literally was the glue that kept the entire wedding together on the day-of. I seriously cannot imagine my wedding without her. My family and friends had nothing but great things to say about her too. She is prepared for anything that comes her way. I knew from the first time I talked to her, that no matter what happened on our wedding day, she would be able to handle it. I don't think anything went wrong on our wedding day, and if it did I had no idea because she probably fixed it before I even noticed! Lexi is the wedding side kick I never knew I needed. Book her, you will not regret it!

Lexi and her team were absolutely incredible. I wish I could give more stars. Lexi was so easy to work with and made our day and vision better than we thought possible. We had so many compliments from guests saying how sweet and helpful she was. I had zero stress on our wedding day because Lexi took care of everything. If you are fortunate enough to have Alexis Giambanco as your wedding planner, you are in excellent hands--this young, beautiful, woman is AMAZING! The breadth and depth of her knowledge and skills are astounding. Alexis was our wedding planner for my daughter's wedding, originally scheduled in August 2020, postponed b/c of Covid until October 2021. Navigating that change--with the fear, confusion, complications and additional cost from the venue, was an enormous challenge---and as the one overseeing things because I was closer to the location of the wedding, I would not have been able to manage without Lexi. She's a well-connected professional with lots of respect in the industry; she knows how to get things done, she is unfailingly kind, calm, and devoted to providing her clients a wedding day that comes off without a hitch. Lexi was the contact person for our caterer, band, florist, photographer, transportation and wedding site--she answered questions, offered guidance, reassurance, and humor throughout our looong wedding planning journey. On the day of my daughter's wedding, Lexi was at the venue early in the morning preparing---she worked non-stop until 11:30pm when the decorations and the last of the leftover booze were loaded into the designated vehicles. Here's the part that matters most: this young woman works tirelessly and joyously to make sure even the most detail-obsessed are delighted with the wedding celebration. On the day of my daughter's wedding, both of us were free to enjoy the celebration without any distractions or stress. Lexi took care of everything--kept all the moving parts coordinated and even more incredibly, she made it look easy and fun. During my year(s) of working with Lexi, there were stretches of time when we were in touch many times during a day. She always addressed my questions and concerns in a timely fashion, followed up, was forward thinking, offered great suggestions and proved over and over again that she is an organizing marvel! I grew so fond of Lexi--I hope others will read my review and wisely hire this energetic and wildly capable angel to coordinate their wedding.

I could not have loved working with Lexi more! My wedding was postponed for a year due to covid and she was excellent about staying in touch the entire time. As we got closer, Lexi made sure that every detail was taken care of perfectly, she's incredibly organized. Lexi communicated with all of our vendors and made me feel so at ease in the time leading up to the wedding that I was able to relax and actually enjoy myself instead of stressing about every detail. She's also just a really kind and likable person! I truly can't recommend her enough, you will be thankful to have Lexi on your team.

Lexi was phenomenal, and we can't recommend her enough! She brings so much poise, professionalism, and vibrant energy to her work, and if we were to go back to do it all again, we would re-hire her without hesitation. The biggest piece of advice we received from others going into our wedding was to be sure to take multiple moments to step back during the day so that we could take it all in, as the day really flies by. With Lexi, we didn't have to worry about doing such . We had ample time to take photos, enjoy happy hour, eat dinner, crush the dance floor, etc -- all without feeling rushed, and all due to Lexi. A few quotes from others during our day about Lexi to help sum everything up: Groomsmen: "Dude, who is your day-of coordinator? She's awesome! I wish we would've had someone similar for our wedding." Officiant: "Your day-of coordinator sent the most detailed schedule I have ever seen. It was awesome. Does she want to come work for me? Can she *please* come work for me?" Wife (1 week prior to our wedding after doing a walk-through with Lexi): "I was so nervous and felt like there was so much that we still had to do leading up to our wedding day. After that walk-through, though, I feel incredibly relieved. Lexi has it all taken care of." The day went off without a hitch, and if there were any hiccups, we had no idea about them. The best part? We remember every moment of the day, because we didn't feel rushed and everything was taken care of. We highly recommend Lexi.

Alexis is AMAZING! Alexis jumped in last minute as a day-of coordinator and you would've thought she worked with my husband and I for much longer! She was absolutely phenomenal, kind, calm, and organized. I would hire her in a heartbeat all over again. Best decision I made was hiring a day-of coordinator, seriously!

I’m a pretty detail oriented person and loved planning my own wedding, so wasn’t sure if Id need a planner. Lexi was the day of coordinator recommended by our venue and boy did she convince me that we needed her! She did an amazing job coordinating all of our vendors! And when my bridal party arrived at the venue, she immediately let them know that any questions they’d normally ask me, could all go to her. She helped us print ceremony readings last minute, and helped a guest glue together a shoe that broke (I swear she had it all in the little Fanny pack she wears)! This woman is on top of her stuff and a true pleasure to work with!!

Hiring Alexis and her team at AKG Event was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. Alexis is kind, professional, and will assist you in every detail of your day. Alexis and her team were truly a gift to us and our families. She allowed each of us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our day because we knew she had given attention and care to each detail. She is well-connected within the PA wedding industry which gave me confidence in choosing wedding vendors planning a wedding long-distance. If you want to enjoy wedding planning and have someone who will be your safety net during the process, there is no when better than AKG Events and Alexis. Alexis helped us with so much from booking vendors to creating timelines. She helped us put together our gift bags and put our parents at ease. She also made me feel so relaxed the day of. She gave me hand warmers when I was cold (November wedding) and she handled all of our other vendors with ease. We had a 9-piece band, and she had them organized and all my vendors knew what to do when. She even helped us handle a problem that arose and all ended well. At the end of the night it felt like things were magically organized and packed into our car. It was not magic, it was Alexis and AKG Events. Can’t say enough good things. You put so much energy and money into your wedding make sure you enjoy it, hire AKG.

Words cannot even begin to express how AMAZING Alexis is! We originally were not going to hire a coordinator for our wedding, but we are so happy that we did! She is SUPER organized and detailed. There were so many things that Alexis took care of that I never would have even thought of. Our wedding day went so smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about anything, and it was because of Alexis and also her husband who was super helpful as well! Our ceremony was outside, and we noticed a ton of knats flying around the ceremony area that morning. It could have been a big inconvenience during our ceremony. But Alexis and her husband took care of the issue right away and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Alexis kept all of the vendors organized and on schedule. She told me, my husband, and wedding party exactly what to do and where to be when. She set everything up, cleaned everything up, and put everything in our vehicle at the end of the night. She went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly highly recommend!!! Not to mention she is super sweet and actually cares about making your day perfect!

Lexi is a DIAMOND! I can’t tell you how incredible this woman is. From the moment we met, she made us feel so comfortable and at ease with everything. There wasn’t a single thing she couldn’t handle. She’s a true boss in every way. She’s so kind and knows how to handle any situation! From the moment we got the wedding day started, she had the biggest smile on her face and she kept going the entire night! I can’t believe how amazing she is! We haven’t been able to stop talking about how wonderful everything was and she was to thank for making it all come together! TOTAL ROCKSTAR!!!! Words can't even begin to express how INCREDIBLE Lexi from AKG Events is!! She is not only the sweetest, but she truly loves her job and will do anything and everything to make sure your wedding day goes by without a hitch. Lexi was there to offer suggestions on other vendors and where to look for save-the-dates. She was a Rockstar when it came to running the rehearsal, and the day of the wedding she busted her a$$ making sure everything was perfect even though it rained. I had done the majority of the decorations myself and was so worried about getting them set up, but Lexi took care of everything! She and her staff unloaded our cars, unpacked, and decorated while my bridal party and I were able to relax and enjoy our morning getting ready together. All my decorations looked incredible!! I fully trusted her expertise and would often say "just make it look pretty" and she 100% delivered. I'm still getting compliments about our décor and how beautiful it looked. At the end of the night, she packed everything back into our cars, which was the biggest help and allowed us to enjoy being with our guests the entire wedding. I can't recommend Lexi and AKG Events enough!! Even if you are DIYing most of your wedding, which I did, Lexi will give you the piece of mind on the actual day by taking care of everything. Well worth the investment! We are so happy we got to work with her, and so sad it's over because she was truly incredible!

We hired Lexi for our day of coordinator and I could not be happier. She is simply the best. From our initial phone call I knew she was a perfect fit. She is so knowledgeable about the business and goes above and beyond to make sure your special day is PERFECT. There are not enough words for me to describe how absolutely incredible Lexi was! We were planning our wedding from out of state and at no point throughout the wedding planning process was I stressed. The week of our wedding, Lexi was on top of EVERYTHING. This is how awesome she is, we pretty much had a destination wedding and the one comment EVERY SINGLE GUEST had was "Lexi was awesome!" Don't look any further! Lexi was phenomenal, and we threw a LOT at her. Even the things she had never done before, she executed brilliantly and without hesitation. The whole day ran so smoothly and it is thanks to her. I am an event manager myself and the fact that I was comfortable enough to let Lexi take lead and enjoy my day without worrying about anything was a miracle.

Our wedding day would not have been possible without Lexi and her team. I hope she's not a secret, but if she is, she is the best kept in Central PA. As a bride, I had never dreamt of what my wedding day would look like, and Lexi helped me from the very beginning figure out and articulate my vision (while also helping me pull together a world-class vendor team). Although we used her "Day of" package, Lexi was a partner to me throughout the entire planning process. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but she never made me feel like I was asking too much or being monitored for her time spent with me. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I had no idea, and I'm not the oblivious type. She worked her magic all day, yet the second I had a question, was present with a smiling face. I would recommend her to, literally, ANYONE, because of her level of professionalism, her care, and the fact she was able to not only help me (and my husband) have the best day ever, but she was able to let my mom relax and enjoy the day as well (which is not an easy feat). As a final note, I had multiple members of my wedding party, who have been involved in the wedding industry before, say they have never seen an event planner as fantastic (and on top of it) as Lexi. AKG Events made the events of our wedding day go SO smoothly. Lexi and her assistant made sure every moment went off without a hitch. Alexis was phenomenal! Such a pleasure to work with, Lexi exceeded my every expectation! From start to finish, everything went smooth in the planning of our wedding. We can’t say enough about how incredible Alexis is! Alexis is extremely professional, diligent, positive, one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and has a way about her that makes everyone around her feel at ease. We were married in Lancaster at the Farm at Eagles Ridge in 2016 on one of the hottest days of the summer, and Alexis had every single back up plan ready to go. She was one of the main comforts and truly made the entire day stress free because we were able to forget about all of the little details as Alexis handled every. single. one.! Typically, the venue works with several vendors they are familiar with, but we were particular about a couple that we chose We threw in a photographer from out of state, a caterer who had never worked there before, and several other vendors. Alexis worked with everyone like it was second nature and conquered all of the small behind the scene nuances. We are so fortunate to have worked with Alexis. We were able to live in our own little world and bubble that entire day, and that’s entirely because of Alexis. At the end of the night when we were trying to get everyone on the buses to leave the venue, Alexis was there with all of our belongings packed up, all of the scattered cards in one basket, and a calm smile. So much work goes into one day that just comes and goes so quickly, and Alexis truly helps you remember the important moments while making it look effortless! We would choose Alexis to be our coordinator over and over again. If you have the chance to choose a coordinator and you’re looking for someone who maintains a calm demeanor throughout anything that’s thrown their way, Alexis is your girl!! Lexi is a GODSEND. My mom hired Lexi to help plan my sister's wedding, which was held six months prior to my own. After watching her work her magic on my sister's wedding, my husband Dan and I were completely on board to on hire her for ours. We originally did not intend to hire a planner (as a very organized person, I thought I would be able to do a decent job on my own). Brides who are on the fence about hiring a planner or think you do not need one - you will not regret having one, at all! Hire Lexi! You will fully recover the reasonable cost of hiring her, and MUCH more, by working with her. Lexi was able to negotiate with all of our vendors, find us the absolute best (sometimes unbelievable) deals, and take over the more minute details of our day that we most likely would have missed altogether, or would not have had time to address. She is incredibly detail-oriented. She will remember every minute of every meeting with every vendor, and she often remembered things I mentioned in passing that even I had forgotten. I feel like Lexi cared even more about making our day meet our highest hopes than Dan and I did. Anything we wished for, she would make it happen. For the 10ish months between picking our wedding date and the wedding weekend, Lexi, my mom, Dan and I were in regular communication - texts, calls, and emails. She treated us like we were her only clients and always made time for us. Something that cannot be overstated is the key role that Lexi will play not just in your planning, but ON your wedding day/wedding weekend. Those precious days leading up to your wedding can actually be enjoyed rather than chaotic (as I've seen with most friends who have not hired a planner), because Lexi takes care of all the last minute details. Bad weather forecasted for the wedding weekend forced changes to our plans, and Lexi spoke with all of the vendors individually to discuss the changes so that we would not have to. On our rehearsal and wedding days, Lexi and her assistant somehow managed to be everywhere, doing everything, all basically behind the scenes. She asked our bridal party and family to direct any questions to her, so that he and I could be fully present in every part of the weekend and as relaxed as possible. She made timelines for people to reference - our parents, our bridesmaids/groomsmen, every single vendor - so that there was no confusion about who should be where, and when. Our bridal party and guests were astonished at her skill and professionalism, and taken by her bubbly and kind personality. We are very sad that our time working with Lexi has come to an end, and joke that we will have to come up with events for her to plan for the rest of our lives just so that we can keep her around! She is a dear friend to our family now, and we are indebted to her for everything she has done for us.

lexi was my day of coordinator last summer for my wedding and there are not enough words in this text box to describe how amazing she made me, my family, and my spouse feel on the best day of our lives. I believe at one point i may have referred to her as an angel. She thought of things i didn't even realize i needed and went above and beyond anything i was ever expecting. I highly recommend Lexi. She was our wedding coordinator for our opening wedding at Melhorn Manor for my husband and I. She went above and beyond her call of duty as our day-of coordinator. She was very professional, helped me with decisions, and provided emotional support leading up to our wedding day. Then she put in 110% effort the day of our event. If you would like someone who will make your special day or any event run perfectly, definitely ask Lexi to be your coordinator!!
