ying on dresses having their own conversations so I could barely hear what my friends were saying about the dress. The woman who was helping me brought me back to where they have the dresses and told me to pull what ones I liked. I expressed to her that I had a hard time knowing what type of dress I was looking at. She maybe pulled one dress for me and I was left to try and figure out the others on my own. The only dress I liked ended up being one that a friend of mine saw on display and we had to ask multiple times if I could try it on. The woman who helped me didn’t offer much help at all. I’m just glad that this wasn’t my first experience looking for a dress because I was very disheartened by this appointment

d confirming my appointment, I still wasn’t on their schedule. Then they were rude to us during our whole ‘appointment’ after they messed up. We wanted to leave as soon as we got there.. Their dresses were way to overpriced as well. You can find the same quality of dresses for HALF the price elsewhere. Wasn’t impressed.. With these prices, the quality of dresses and the quality of service should be a lot better!..

e appointment and got "yeah someone will be with you. The attendant handed me the clipboard and I filled it out. She didn't look at it or help me pick out dresses. My mom and sister did. I watched other brides get better assistance. Some of it I wondered was because I was a plus size bride I did end up buying my dress and the bridesmaids dresses there. My mom also bought her dress there. I wasn't even offered to take a picture that I had found a dress had to ask for it. We had issues with the bridesmaids dresses not being ordered. Also had issues with wrong measurements. I went to pay for my dress and was told to take it home and no appointment was set up for alterations. When I asked any questions, I was dismissed or not called back. Today when I asked about alterations the manager on the phone was acting very off, said to me "who are you? " "What do you actually need" and then got all huffy at me when asking for my information. I then called back directly to ask for alterations. Later I got a call from the manager saying that we've had too many differences in opinions I was being refused any further service. So that leaves me with no alterations and they said that they could refuse me service even though I bought the dress with them. This all after I spent about 3000 dollars. I asked for an owner to call me back and I doubt the manager passed on that message. Worst customer service I have ever had and I say buyer please beware!

al. I loved my dress and received a thousand compliments on it. I went back with my bridesmaids to get their dresses, and that experience was mixed. We went two times one to try on a lot of dresses and narrow it down a little, and another time to pick our the final bridesmaids dresses. The first appointment the consultant was very helpful, and the second time not so much. We were told poor information on when the dresses would get in which caused a lot of stress. We did get the dresses with plenty of time to get alterations taken care of so everything did work out. I went back one more time with my mom to find a mother of the bride dress. That turned into a disaster. We found a dress she really liked, but the sample was in black. The tag said it was available in silver so the consultant showed us a swatch and we ordered it. The dress arrived and it was light purple. Not remotely silver, and purple is my mom's least favorite color. She was so upset she went and bought a second dress.

I made an appointment to try the dress I chose on again before I ordered it, called a couple days in advance to confirm, and woke up early on a Saturday, traveled 3 hours and made it by the time the doors opened, when I walked in they said "sorry I guess we sold that dress". I tried to keep calm and just ordered it anyway. The contract had the wrong color on it so I asked if they could reprint it with the right color before I signed, they said just sign it we have another appointment. When I called 5 months after ordering in August to check on the status (they said it would be 5-6 mos to get in) they said I could anticipate my dress arriving in MAY (9 mos after ordering). The month of my wedding. And had no explanation why. When the dress did come in I asked for a tracking number to ship it directly to me (there was no way I was going there to have them do alterations) they just ignored me and my wedding dress sat at my front door in the middle of a blizzard. Awful Awful experience.

perfect dress but helped find the perfect accessories to complete my bridal look! I cannot give them enough praise as they helped me pick/try on several dresses and truly learned what I was looking for in a dress! Just when I thought I had found the one, Rand found a show stopper that just blew the other dresses away! I am head over heals in love with my dress and can’t wait to go back and visit Mandy, Rand, and Mark again during my fitting and bridesmaids fittings! Oh and I forgot to mention that they also helped me find the perfect bridesmaids dresses! I highly recommend shopping at Alan Evans Bridal! :)

hat were pulled were so unflattering and bulky and boring that I was almost in tears because I looked so awful. I had all of 8 dresses to even try on and they refused to pull anything else that even might have fit. My mom and I literally had to lie about liking a dress enough to "think about it" so we could get out because they were being so pushy. Thank God I was able to find a stunner at Lee Anne's where they are kind and have an actual selection for big girls like myself.

ociate said that it would arrive about five months later. We went ahead and purchased it, assured that it would come in that amount of time even though we custom ordered the coloring. We revisited the shop to try on the dress with more family and friends, since just my daughter and I went in the first time. When we came back as customers that had already made this big purchase, the manager, who was helping us, was curt and couldn't give us the time of day. My daughter also wanted to confirm when we were in again that the dress was on track to arrive in June. Mandy the manager stated that it was on track to be in during the month of August. We asked why this was pushed back and Mandy told us "it has always been scheduled to arrive in August". This was a blatant lie. Over the course of this purchase, we have caught the staff in several lies, none of which they have taken responsibility for. I would never return to this store for any purchase, and this horrible ordeal has tainted the dress experience for us.

in March since we could not be there when she initially purchased it, and the dress that arrived was a different color than what was ordered. The owners, Rand and Mark, disputed this, stating that “this is the color the dress comes in”, but when my son’s fiancé produced the emails specifying the coloring information, Rand said that their sales associate (who is also the manager) should never have said the dress comes in this color. They confirmed the dress was the wrong color by stating that bodices can be dyed to the right color, while also denying that there was anything wrong with the dress. When I commented on the bad craftsmanship and unfinished details on the bodice, Rand stated that “we were the first ones to ever notice that” but also that they do not carry the brand anymore “… but not because of the quality”. For a nearly $2000 dress, the quality was terrible and the customer service was worse. I would never come back to this establishment except to get back the deposit they are refusing to refund.

ges of the appliques were frayed. Mandy, the manager, refused to do anything when I called over the course of several months. They couldn’t tell me where the dress was made or coming from and couldn’t provide any shipping or tracking information. I purchased the dress on January 6 and it was initially supposed to arrive in June. It came on October 24. Details of the contract were somehow changed without them telling me, and they refused to provide it until I came into the store, and even then they would not provide it without significant resistance. Alan Evans still has my $850 deposit, and they said they would never refund it but “we could do the court thing”. They know I need a dress. They left me an in an extreme time crunch. I went to the store, asked to discuss with the owners, Rand and Mark, and they went ballistic. In my life, I have never spoken to in a such demeaning way. I was called names, and they said that brides are just “vulnerable, emotional, anxious, and hysterical, and they forget what their dresses look like”. This company should not be in business. Something is really wrong here.

only complaints were that I had an appointment at 4 PM on a Friday and I felt rushed at the end of my visit to make a decision. I also did not like that I was unable to send photos to my mom who was unable to be with me on this visit and missed out on me picking my dress, however understandable to protect the designs of the dresses. Overall, a positive experience and a good sale that led me to the perfect dress.

Bridesmaids: This was not a great experience. The girl who was working down there didn't do anything to direct us towards dresses that fit the criteria I had. My bridesmaids had to look around, and ask her to several times to get up to help. Even though we would have gotten a discount, we felt that it was so unprofessional that we went to another vendor to buy all six bridesmaid dresses.

was a beautiful experience. Rand helped me. It was amazing. Everything was amazing.

wever I will give Allan Evans another shot if I do not find a dress. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am by their customer service.

nce it JUST came that day, and I went home with it! The material of the dress was exactly what I was looking for. It fit me perfectly! I wish I could go back and relive the moment because it was everything I ever wanted for my dress and experience!
