We literally never give a full 5 stars to anyone, because there is always something that could be slightly improved. We give Albemarle Inn 9 stars. One for value for the dollar, one for beauty and cleanliness of the Inn and grounds, one for attention to detail, one for outstanding cuisine, one for helpfulness, one for excellent communication practices, one for generosity, one for exceeding our expectations in every conceivable way, and one for the best staff anywhere (Sarah and Danielle).
One of the aspects that added value was that Rosemary truly listened to what we wanted, and happily met our every need. We often thought, “shouldn’t we be doing something?” The answer was typically “Nope. Rosemary has already taken care of that.” We literally had no concerns on our wedding day, and were able to freely enjoy our event. We are so grateful.
Having traveled from California for our wedding, we did nearly all of our planning via phone and e-mail. This felt like a bit of a gamble, until we flew out to meet with Rosemary to tour the Inn. We felt at ease, and knew we could trust her with our special day. It was as important to her as it was to us. Everything was perfect, and we micromanaged none of it.
The Albemarle Inn truly feels more like home than a home away from home. It's a place where all of our 21 guests wanted to stay longer. We had the fun luxury of buying out all of the rooms, so that our friends and family could maximize our time together. We had sumptuous breakfasts in our pajamas. We stayed up late chatting by the fire in the beautiful living room, again, in our pajamas. We had full access to a small pantry kitchenette, and kept beverages and food available for everyone all weekend long. We had wedding cake with breakfast for 3 straight days. It was truly EPIC.
We had our ceremony at the Inn, because we wanted to have the option of coming indoors in case of rain. So, even the weather could not have spoiled our wedding at the Albemarle Inn.
Seriously, book your wedding here soon, before everyone on the planet finds out about this gem in Asheville.
Sincerely,
Maggie & Bill
