Owner Alexandra M. Cebry began thinking about starting Alexandra Madison Weddings in 2013 when she first trained in customer service. Hi! I'm Alexandra and the lead planner behind AMW! In 2013, the thought of Alexandra Madison Weddings began when I began training in several different areas to learn the best way to serve our couples. I've been lucky enough to gain wedding industry experience in Santa Fe, NM, Los Angeles, CA, and throughout the Southeast, focusing on South Carolina and Georgia. Within those areas, I was able to train in venue management, client relations, catering, rentals, and of course, wedding planning! AMW started servicing brides full time in 2017, and we have loved it every step of the way!

Their attention to detail and communication in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding allowed me to relax and know everything was covered. My wedding day was actually enjoyable for me and I credit the team with that. I did not have to answer any last minute questions or figure out any of the random issues that come up the day of because they handled it! Throughout our reception we had someone from the team dedicated to us the couple and one person for each of our families. Every time we are with my father-in-law he consistently tells us he has never been so well taken care of in his life, it might’ve been the highlight of his year. If I had to go back and do the wedding planning process again I would choose the Alexandra Madison team every time.

Our lead planner was Abby and we really enjoyed working with her! We felt very taken care of during the planning process and especially the day of the wedding. Abby and the AMW team that worked with her that day were so attentive to anything we needed. If I asked for something they were on it immediately. Their team took care of all the logistics so my husband and I could have our dream day.

ex and her staff were incredibly thorough with their research and attention to detail to make sure that we not only got exactly what we had envisioned, but also at the best industry price! They were able to create customized mood boards, budget estimates, timelines and checklists leading up to our big day and scheduled regular check in meetings to make sure that everything was organized and on track and fit the aesthetic that we envisioned. They came out for a site visit and in person walkthrough and the day of the wedding had staff onsite making sure everything ran smoothly. Not to mention the obstacles thrown at them such as not being able to set up the ceremony until 5:00pm for a 6:00pm ceremony at Gerald Peters Contemporary Gallery they net let us seem stressed or worried which helped us to relax and enjoy our wedding day. Their staff also helped us organize our welcome party and customized and flew in all our signage at the welcome party and wedding for the entrance and bar areas which came out amazing! They were able to contract an artist to recreate our pet pug for our napkin art and cocktail signs and we loved those personal touches. From the moment they assisted us with sending out our invitations to cleaning up the gifts and alcohol after the wedding they were an absolutely irreplaceable part of our big day and we couldn't recommend them more to other couples!

few months prior where we walked the venue and then went together to the rentals to select linens, place settings etc. We had several meetings leading up to the wedding to discuss details and timelines and then AMW took over fully at 30 days including full coordination the day of. I really appreciated this middle ground option between a full service planner and day of coordinator.
Throughout the process, everyone on the AMW team was communicative, timely, professional and kind. I valued their industry experience and the way they guided and informed my choices without pressure. During the wedding weekend, everything was executed perfectly which allowed me and my family to enjoy the day without being stressed. I felt really taken care of the whole weekend - my lead planner Anna Brady was always checking on me and my husband making sure we had food, drinks, and that we were relaxed.

We had an engagement that lasted longer than a year, but the AMW team never made us feel like we were on the “back burner.” They were always there when we had a question and always knew what direction to point us in. They have done so many weddings and their connections made everything very seamless. All of their team members are so friendly as well.
While the planning of the wedding was outstanding, the day itself was even more perfect. They handled every aspect perfectly and provided us with the wedding of our dreams. Covid hit three weeks before my wedding was planned and Alex was a rockstar. She worked so fast to get things moved and talked to all the right people to get us all the options to make a decision on what to do. On the day of the wedding, I honestly could not imagine having anyone else in charge. Everything was beautiful and ran so smoothly. right and early and worked non stop until the day was over making sure all my ideas and details came to life. Everyone at AMW is so sweet and so so helpful. They also have great taste and style so I knew handing off my visions was in great hands! Their decor collection is a game changer, they have beautiful decor options and it really let us add special touches like welcome signs and lanterns and beautiful pink goblets. Jessica helped our big chaotic group have a great rehearsal the night before too! I can't stress enough how above and beyond the team went for me. They made sure we had a platted meal of all of our food when we sat down and always made sure we had a drink in hand. I didn't even have to worry about the schedule because they were always on top of when we needed to do what. Jessica even ran up and down the stairs finding the Lace House elevator for us since you can't call it! Little things like that make them a dream come true to work with and I can't thank AMW and Jessica enough for everything they did for our perfect wedding.

She got in contact with all my vendors right away when we were having to make the hard decision of postponing. We re-scheduled twice and she supported our decision every time. When our special day finally came a year later, I was nervous when I found out Alex wouldn’t be the one with us day-of but WOW. Parker was a GODSEND. We couldn’t have asked for a better day-of-coordinator to be with us on our wedding day. Parker was SO kind, positive & assertive when she needed to be! She made me feel like I had known her forever when in reality we had met day-of! She made sure I didn’t lift a finger or worry about anything. e we were forced to change our plans from an indoor (all inclusive setting) reception to an outdoor one (we would had to provide everything). Alexandra and her team took charge and within a week, we had quotes for all the vendors needed and we were able to sign contracts immediately. They knew who to call and exactly what we needed. The problem was solved and the stress was eliminated.
Alexandra was accessible to us and answered any concerns we had as the wedding date approached. On the date of the wedding she and her team were present and made sure every detail was taken care of.
To be honest when my daughter told me she had hired a wedding planner for her wedding, I was skeptical and questioned if we needed one. After our experience with Alexandra Madison Weddings, I am a strong supporter and encourage everyone to use one. The costs are nominal in
comparison to the value a good wedding planner like Alexandra offers. With her being based centrally in Columbia, SC, she is capable of handling weddings all over the state.
