I really appreciated this middle ground option between a full service planner and day of coordinator. Throughout the process, everyone on the AMW team was communicative, timely, professional and kind. I valued their industry experience and the way they guided and informed my choices without pressure. During the wedding weekend, everything was executed perfectly which allowed me and my family to enjoy the day without being stressed. I felt really taken care of the whole weekend - my lead planner Anna Brady was always checking on me and my husband making sure we had food, drinks, and that we were relaxed. Jessica helped our big chaotic group have a great rehearsal the night before too! I can't stress enough how above and beyond the team went for me. They made sure we had a platted meal of all of our food when we sat down and always made sure we had a drink in hand. I didn't even have to worry about the schedule because they were always on top of when we needed to do what. Jessica even ran up and down the stairs finding the Lace House elevator for us since you can't call it! Little things like that make them a dream come true to work with and I can't thank AMW and Jessica enough for everything they did for our perfect wedding.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day-of-coordinator to be with us on our wedding day. Parker was SO kind, positive & assertive when she needed to be! She made me feel like I had known her forever when in reality we had met day-of! She made sure I didn’t lift a finger or worry about anything. Parker exceeded all of my expectations & I am SO thankful for her & the entire AMW team!

Alexandra and her team took charge and within a week, we had quotes for all the vendors needed and we were able to sign contracts immediately. They knew who to call and exactly what we needed. The problem was solved and the stress was eliminated. Alexandra was accessible to us and answered any concerns we had as the wedding date approached. On the date of the wedding she and her team were present and made sure every detail was taken care of. To be honest when my daughter told me she had hired a wedding planner for her wedding, I was skeptical and questioned if we needed one. After our experience with Alexandra Madison Weddings, I am a strong supporter and encourage everyone to use one. The costs are nominal in comparison to the value a good wedding planner like Alexandra offers. With her being based centrally in Columbia, SC, she is capable of handling weddings all over the state. m who pulled off a flawless rehearsal dinner. If you want FULL PLANNING and don't have a starting point or many specific details that you want to include she is definitely your girl. I was on the fence about using a planner because I am extremely particular but I didn't want to have to think about anything day-of and, because of the price, it made sense to do full planning so that the team knew my vision, story, and personality before being present at my wedding. Alex accommodated meeting me out of town, she did an excellent job on a color board that I was WOW'd by, she offered suggestions on vendors and she walked through different scenarios with me when COVID struck and I wanted a backup plan (or 2); however, if you need extensive budgeting/timeline assistance or are a particular person she might not be the right fit. Not without trying, she definitely makes every effort, but I do think she over extends herself and strongly encourages her own ideas without explanation of why it would be a better choice which makes it difficult if you have specific things in mind or need quick responses. I made sure to try to respect her time and experience and did tell her to let me know if something couldn't be done but here were a few VERY small things that were different from how we planned. The day was perfect in its imperfection, no major mishaps but the small things were all avoidable and I did a lot to ensure that everything was well communicated and accounted for so there were a few feelings of disappointment.

From our very first phone call she was professional, assisted in guiding for best vendor options and was organized. She handled everything in stride, and as someone who is type A and asks 1 million questions, I needed someone like her in my corner. She was always responsive and kind at my many questions. Then she came in clutch when we had to replan my entire reception within a month and a half period. I also had a lot of requests to make it as Covid safe as possible, and she was already one step ahead with some fantastic ideas to keep our guests safe. She and her team were amazing the night of and never let my husband and I out of their site making sure we were having a great time. I cannot thank them enough. They were exactly what we needed and would highly recommend to anyone else!
