We loved working with the AMW team during our wedding planning process!! Alexandra and her team are professional, experienced, responsive, organized, detail-oriented, and upbeat. I used AMW’s partial wedding planning service for my Greenville SC wedding in August 2022 and I’m still so grateful! With my package, I had a venue walk-through with Alexandra a few months prior where we walked the venue and then went together to the rentals to select linens, place settings etc. We had several meetings leading up to the wedding to discuss details and timelines and then AMW took over fully at 30 days including full coordination the day of. I really appreciated this middle ground option between a full service planner and day of coordinator. Throughout the process, everyone on the AMW team was communicative, timely, professional and kind. I valued their industry experience and the way they guided and informed my choices without pressure. During the wedding weekend, everything was executed perfectly which allowed me and my family to enjoy the day without being stressed. I felt really taken care of the whole weekend - my lead planner Anna Brady was always checking on me and my husband making sure we had food, drinks, and that we were relaxed. The girls at Alexandra Madison Weddings were the best thing to happen to my wedding planning! They were so helpful and organized from the start. I am very indecisive and Alex was able to work with me and make everything beautiful like I had dreamt of. She was so patient with me and took all my stress away. Covid hit three weeks before my wedding was planned and Alex was a rockstar. She worked so fast to get things moved and talked to all the right people to get us all the options to make a decision on what to do. On the day of the wedding, I honestly could not imagine having anyone else in charge. Everything was beautiful and ran so smoothly. Her and her team pulled out all the stops to make me, my husband, our bridal party and our family feel so special and taken care of. We could not have done this magical day without her and her team!

Our wedding was literally the best day of our lives and it was all because of this team right here. Alexandra and her team did an absolute incredible job and took my vision and ran with it. Alexandra and her team were very professional and easy to work with. Our wedding date had to be moved twice due to the pandemic and her team made sure all of our vendors and our venue were up to date with any changes that arose. This made the process much less stressful for us. On the day of the wedding Alexandra and her staff made sure my wife and I were taken care of all day. I don’t know how anyone gets through a wedding with out the help of the AMW team! They were with us every step along the way and were so much more than a day of planner. They essentially helped us plan two weddings as a result of postponing due to COVID-19. I worked with Jessica Jones and she made our wedding day beyond perfect! I mean it when I say it wouldn't have come together without her and the AMW team. They were at the venue bright and early and worked non stop until the day was over making sure all my ideas and details came to life. Everyone at AMW is so sweet and so so helpful. They also have great taste and style so I knew handing off my visions was in great hands! Their decor collection is a game changer, they have beautiful decor options and it really let us add special touches like welcome signs and lanterns and beautiful pink goblets. Jessica helped our big chaotic group have a great rehearsal the night before too! I can't stress enough how above and beyond the team went for me. They made sure we had a platted meal of all of our food when we sat down and always made sure we had a drink in hand. I didn't even have to worry about the schedule because they were always on top of when we needed to do what. Jessica even ran up and down the stairs finding the Lace House elevator for us since you can't call it! Little things like that make them a dream come true to work with and I can't thank AMW and Jessica enough for everything they did for our perfect wedding.

As a recent bride, Alexandra and her team deserve ALL the praise!! When the COVID-19 pandemic hit TWO weeks before our initial wedding date, Alexandra was on the phone with me first thing the morning after shut-downs began. I’ll never forget that & how much she put my mind at ease. She got in contact with all my vendors right away when we were having to make the hard decision of postponing. We re-scheduled twice and she supported our decision every time. When our special day finally came a year later, I was nervous when I found out Alex wouldn’t be the one with us day-of but WOW. Parker was a GODSEND. We couldn’t have asked for a better day-of-coordinator to be with us on our wedding day. Parker was SO kind, positive & assertive when she needed to be! She made me feel like I had known her forever when in reality we had met day-of! She made sure I didn’t lift a finger or worry about anything. Parker exceeded all of my expectations & I am SO thankful for her & the entire AMW team!

I wish I could give Alexandra and her team a higher score - 5 is not high enough. They were very professional and exceeded all our expectations. A month before the wedding date we were forced to change our plans from an indoor (all inclusive setting) reception to an outdoor one (we would had to provide everything). Alexandra and her team took charge and within a week, we had quotes for all the vendors needed and we were able to sign contracts immediately. They knew who to call and exactly what we needed. The problem was solved and the stress was eliminated. Alexandra was accessible to us and answered any concerns we had as the wedding date approached. On the date of the wedding she and her team were present and made sure every detail was taken care of. To be honest when my daughter told me she had hired a wedding planner for her wedding, I was skeptical and questioned if we needed one. After our experience with Alexandra Madison Weddings, I am a strong supporter and encourage everyone to use one. The costs are nominal in comparison to the value a good wedding planner like Alexandra offers. With her being based centrally in Columbia, SC, she is capable of handling weddings all over the state. In closing, I fully endorse the services of Alexandra Madison Weddings and encourage you to hire them for your wedding.

For the cost, Alex is great - she is talented, she made sure my, now husband, and I were attended to at our wedding and the overall result was outstanding. She has an excellent team who pulled off a flawless rehearsal dinner. If you want FULL PLANNING and don't have a starting point or many specific details that you want to include she is definitely your girl. I was on the fence about using a planner because I am extremely particular but I didn't want to have to think about anything day-of and, because of the price, it made sense to do full planning so that the team knew my vision, story, and personality before being present at my wedding. Alex accommodated meeting me out of town, she did an excellent job on a color board that I was WOW'd by, she offered suggestions on vendors and she walked through different scenarios with me when COVID struck and I wanted a backup plan (or 2); however, if you need extensive budgeting/timeline assistance or are a particular person she might not be the right fit. Not without trying, she definitely makes every effort, but I do think she over extends herself and strongly encourages her own ideas without explanation of why it would be a better choice which makes it difficult if you have specific things in mind or need quick responses. I made sure to try to respect her time and experience and did tell her to let me know if something couldn't be done but here were a few VERY small things that were different from how we planned. The day was perfect in its imperfection, no major mishaps but the small things were all avoidable and I did a lot to ensure that everything was well communicated and accounted for so there were a few feelings of disappointment.

I cannot say enough great things about Alex and her team! When we got engaged in February 2020 we did not know what to expect with planning a wedding a year later. I work a job that doesn't allow a lot of time to make phone calls or do the research that needs to be done to plan a wedding. The first thing I did was hire Alexandra to help me out. Best decision. From our very first phone call she was professional, assisted in guiding for best vendor options and was organized. She handled everything in stride, and as someone who is type A and asks 1 million questions, I needed someone like her in my corner. She was always responsive and kind at my many questions. Then she came in clutch when we had to replan my entire reception within a month and a half period. I also had a lot of requests to make it as Covid safe as possible, and she was already one step ahead with some fantastic ideas to keep our guests safe. She and her team were amazing the night of and never let my husband and I out of their site making sure we were having a great time. I cannot thank them enough. They were exactly what we needed and would highly recommend to anyone else!

We are SO happy that we chose Alex and her team to help plan my December wedding. Alex is extremely knowledgable, fun to work with and she made the entire wedding planning experience not nearly as stressful as it would have been if we tried to do it alone. Because of Covid, we had some very big last minute changes (2 days before) and Alex took care of everything within 24 hours. We could not have been more impressed with how she handled it and how smoothly everything turned out. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding planner. Alex and her team were delightful to work with. However, they promised several things and ended up “dropping the ball” on a lot of them. We hired Alexandra Madison as our wedding planner before we knew Alex would actually not be there for our wedding, but rather two of her assistants. They were unable to accommodate our needs for the night and my mom ended up having to do a lot of work the day of- the ENTIRE reason we hired them was to avoid this. She had to miss putting on my veil to get herself ready. I would not hire unless Alex will be there at your wedding. Additionally, I believe we paid for one of the smaller “packages” they offer. Maybe if you pay more you get a lot more.

Words cannot express my gratitude for Alexandra and her team. They planned the perfect wedding for my husband and I, and made all of our thoughts and visions come to life. Alexandra is professional, patient, and has connections to so many great vendors throughout the state of South Carolina. She took care of all of the design details, transportation details, and made an in depth timeline of our day so that we didn't have to think twice about where we needed to be and when. Alexandra handled everything we threw at her perfectly!! She was integral for my mom and i during the planning process. We had to change a lot due to Covid and just normal wedding changes and no matter how last minute or crazy our idea, she jumped on it and made it happen! I can't say enough good things about Alexandra Madison and their team. We had so many changes for our May wedding due to COVID restrictions, so we pushed big day to October and had a micro wedding on our planned day in May. Alex & her team have done above and beyond what we contracted for and have been so incredibly helpful with every single step of the way, especially when we kept having to change plans due to new restrictions. Everyone we have been working with on the team has been communicative, organized, and so friendly with us -- we truly cannot thank them enough!!! Where do I even begin?! Alex and her team went above and beyond every single time we spoke. Unfortunantely, we were one of the many couples affected by COVID-19 and in the most stressful times of our lives, Alex and her team eased every fear that we had. After going through multiple "Plan Bs" in a week, we changed our 175 person guest count to a 15 person micro-wedding in two days, at a different location, and with only two of our vendors and Alex and her team never flinched! They were so patient with us and made it happen. I don't know what we would have done without her! I will be forever thankful for the patience, organization, love, and support she showed me through my year of wedding planning. Can't wait to finally have our large celebration in 2021, and have Alexandra Madison Weddings helping us every step of the way!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Alex was to work with planning the 12 months prior to my daughter's wedding March 21, 2020 but especially during our COVID19 last minute change from 225 guests, to 40 to 10. She jumped in to action and provided great insight and help as we threw Plan A B, C, D & beyond. Most of our vendors were WONDERFUL but she did save the day on a few that fell thru. She remained optimistic and calm during the week of changes and we truly appreciate all of the extra things she offered as well as her flexibility.

Alexandra and her team were absolutely amazing throughout the planning process! She LISTENED to us during every discussion and worked with us to create a ceremony that we envisioned, regardless of her tastes or preferences. She worked with our budget, she was always professional, and gave us plenty of options to choose from in order to make our day perfect. Her access to vendors, hotel blocks, rentals, and more was extremely helpful. Her passion and love for weddings and celebrating couples was evident every time we met with her - she was always so smiley and cheerful! Our wedding was set for late May 2020, and unfortunately due to the COVID pandemic we were unable to see our dream day come to life. Alexandra worked with us to alert all our vendors and stuck with us as we worked to plan something smaller at a later date (we're thinking California in October)! Alex even offered to fly out to Cali to help us continue to plan our day - such commitment! We cannot thank her enough! If I could do it all over again, sans COVID, I would still choose her.

I hired them for month-of coordination and the decor package, but they were instrumental in helping me plan and find vendors throughout the entire 7 months! Alex and Jessica and their team were very organized and professional- I was able to have a beautiful wedding without having to worry a bit about setting up or any day-of hiccups. To top it off, their decor rental package IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! It saved me SO much time and stress (and money!) to not have to find or make all the items for our "Meant to Bee" themed wedding- so thankful for them!

Alexandra was amazing. My husband and I had a strict budget and she was so helpful in helping us stay within that budget and still have a beautiful wedding. She was always available and quick to answer and make helpful suggestions. She was organized, reliable, and punctual. Her and her assistant were there for the rehearsal and the entire wedding. We were able to get ready and enjoy our special day without worrying about anything. We are so grateful to have had her as our wedding coordinator.

AMW is absolutely amazing, best money spent for our wedding. Jessica was our day of coordinator, but it was so much more than I expected! we kept in touch throughout the 8 months of planning. she took every email, meeting, picture, idea and made it into a wonderful day! Her team was spot on the day of, anything we needed. My mom was able to relax with me and and spend the day getting ready and making memories. There is no doubt they are the best and you will not regret hiring them!

I can't put into words how much Alexandra and her Lead Planner, Jessica, did to make our wedding day completely flawless. I felt comfortable from my first meeting with AMW and their attention to detail. You get one-on-one attention that sets them apart from others we met with right away. They are fair in price, and worth every penny. Alexandra helped me with everything from the flow of our wedding to executing contracts with party rentals and helping me decide what would complement our space best. She developed relationships with every one of my vendors and made sure that they were happy and that their craft was showcased on the day of. Most people just getting started have no idea how to do anything other than envision what they want their day to be like. Alexandra turned a vision into a true dream for us and I couldn't be more thankful. I look back on our day and it would have been completely different had we not believed in the AMW team.
