We interviewed several different planners for our wedding because we live out of town and needed to have someone trustworthy and professional to be boots on the ground. Sarah and the AAE team delivered! From the first call we had, I knew she was the personality we were looking for. Our wedding was the first at the venue selected, and when we booked the venue wasn't even finished being built! I think I would have lost my marbles without Sarah. She has a way of not only keeping the bride/groom on track, but the vendors in check too. On wedding day, it felt like we had an army, I did not have to lift a finger. The best thing we did for our wedding was booking with Alie Allen Events. I miss them already!

My husband and I had a surprise wedding on NYE and it was EPIC, thanks in large part to Sarah and her team. I'm a wedding planner in the Nashville area, so I know the importance of having a good coordinator on your team. Because it was a surprise wedding, I didn't want to use a Nashville based planner since we all run in similar circles. Enter Alice Allen Events. I did not want to be stressed, worrying about logistics, or answering any questions—outside of "do you take this man to be your husband" lol—on my wedding day. Thanks to Sarah and her team, Austin and I were able to truly relax and be present on our wedding day, which is the best gift anyone could have given us. Sarah helped me with my wedding every step of the way. She went above and beyond what I payed for or expected! She was the one to help with my veil, bustle my dress, make sure I was fed throughout the day, steamed my dress, and kept me so calm when my makeup took longer than I had planned. Sarah and team were excellent from day one. She is a super busy lady with all of the weddings she books, but she made me feel like our wedding was the ONLY one she was working. Sarah Angell was a literal HEAVEN SEND, no pun intended, for our wedding. She is first of all sooo kind and personable when I first met her. I was the first in my family to get married, so my mom and I had no clue what we were in for. Sarah was so helpful throughout the whole process. The biggest blessing was getting to hand off all of my vendors to her once I chose them and I knew should would contact them and make sure they were at the venue when they needed to be and with what they needed to bring. It was the biggest blessing getting to step into my wedding day, knowing that she was going to walk us through every part and me, my husband, and my family could just enjoy it! Sarah was hands down the most on top of it coordinator/ planner we could have ever asked for. She was constantly calling vendors and double checking that everything was paid for, in stock, and ready to go. She was fun, creative and easy to work with; she understood our vision as well as the personal dynamics and feelings surrounding that vision from the very first meeting. I can’t emphasize that enough because we were blissfully unaware of how her attentiveness to our wish list was captured early on and how important that would become when something went wrong, as it always seems to do with weddings. About a week before the big day, the Texas weather was not cooperating. Our hope for an outdoor event was not going to happen and we didn’t have a Plan B. Sarah waved her magic wand in a way that seemed effortless to secure and coordinate a new venue that would accommodate our large gathering while maintaining an atmosphere and vibe that we wanted. Up until that point, you don’t really understand the resources and relationships that an experienced wedding planner has at their disposal but they paid off in a big way! We were the beneficiaries of her years of networking and professionalism as she held meetings, reorganized all our vendors, and transitioned smoothly just days before the wedding. On the big day, Sarah was present in a capacity that seemed like an entire team. Everyone, from the vendors to the wedding party, understood the assignment and was in their place at the right time and in the right way because of her clear leadership, communication and understanding of what we wanted to accomplish. We could not have dreamed of a better event planner for my Bonus Daughter's wedding. Sarah is the best! Her commitment to the wedding planning allowed us to relax and enjoy this special time. WOW! I cannot thank Sarah with Alice Allen Events enough. We hired her for our day-of wedding coordination and I don't know how we would have ever pulled off our wedding without her. Seriously, if you are considering whether or not to hire a coordinator, stop considering it and do it! Hire Sarah! She is so helpful, knowledgeable, understanding and prepared! The weather was not on our side for the big day, but Sarah had a back up plan in place and our outside wedding, easily became an inside wedding. I don't even know where to start with Sarah expertise, professionalism and creativity. She can adapt to any situation you throw her in. I didn't have to talk to wedding vendors two weeks leading up to wedding day - she took control. She met me at my reception hall so many times to make sure it was going to be everything I have envisioned it to be. She cared so much about what I wanted and even added in so many good ideas as well. We all know wedding days can be a whirlwind of a day... Sarah took care of everything down to the smallest details. My veil fell off while walking down the aisle... Once my father and I made it to front of church, Sarah was there to put veil back in my hair. Sarah was able to get a lot of family members together for family photos after ceremony with EASE. My husband can't stop talking about how he was running low of a drink at reception and Sarah was there to give him a refill. Haha! I'm a wedding photographer so I have been to MANY weddings... I have NEVER been so amazed by a wedding vendor. She's the reason you will be able to take a deep breathe on your wedding day because Sarah and her team have it all under control. HIRE HER! Sarah was wonderful to work with! She went above and beyond the desired services. She's great to bounce ideas off of and reminded me of details I had forgotten about. I highly recommend choosing day of coordinating and pre-planning help. It made all the difference! She personally knows several vendors in the Waco area. Our caterers dropped the ball on water to serve and next thing I know Sarah's team is serving pitchers of ice water to everyone. She helped my bridal party and family have a relaxing, fun wedding day!
