't have to pay for time it was not in use. Our guest said both drivers were pleasant. Phil was easy to get in touch with and other than the bus being just a bit late for the first round of shuttling (nothing that threw off our day) everything was wonderful and our guest really appreciate the help!

l) the first time he said he wanted a longer booking time than the 3 hours that we needed and would let me know later in the week If he didn't have anybody else who would book longer. We waited and he did not have anybody so he rented to us for 3 hours. We wanted a party bus to drive the wedding party to a brewery downtown and then back home. My first interaction in person was when the wedding was still going on and he was in our wedding hall walking around asking for money and to let everyone know he was here. It was odd that he walked into the reception hall that was still going on but he did. I was helping my parents and sister clean up the tables while phil was ready to load the bus. He started yelling at the guests because I wasn't on the bus and again walked into the reception hall to yell at me because I wasn't on the bus and he didn't want anybody on it without me on the bus. (Why then did he start loading is beyond me)... He then again started yelling at our wedding party in front of all of our guests and the bride/groom... totally unprofessional and ruined that part of the wedding. Once I was on the bus and the wedding party was loaded he told us that he just purchased the bus for 75,000 and it was his first time using it. He made it very clear that nobody could use the cup holders because the cans could spill if he hit a bump. As he was driving he yelled at us again because one member who was wearing heals all day took her heals up and put her feet up on the seat to rest her feet... this again caused him to scream and shout at us. From that point on we pretty much just sat silently with our hands folded and did not even attempt to turn on the music in fear he would yell at us again. Half of our wedding party decided after the brewery to walk home (10 minutes away) rather than go through that again with Phil. At the end of the night I think he realized he didn't treat us right at the end of the night and tried to make up to us by talking down to us by saying "I know you are good kids, I just have to be protective of my bus"... We are all adults in our 30's. Not kids. We selected them because we got a deal , and it turned out not to be a deal at all. I would never use this company again and only regret that we paid him because he ruined what was a very special night for my sister.

ressed drivers. The limo left and we all used the bus to go out for pictures and to our reception. We had front door service after the ceremony with a red carpet, which was really a nice touch. The driver took us from Macomb, MI to downtown Detroit where we stopped three places. Each time when we got back on the bus it was cleaned up and ready for the next trip (we had 18 people drinking beer and other drinks--surely we spilled some too). Our driver was very personable, always standing at the door to assist the wedding party off the bus, and knew his way around Detroit very well. I was skeptical about meeting the owner at first because his price was almost $200 less than anybody else in the area for a Saturday wedding. After talking with in person and seeing our wedding bus we hurried up and left our deposit. We definitely made a good choice and will use this limo service in the future.

self got us from A to B but had no bells and whistles. We were yelled at by Phil, the owner, who also works as a driver because someone had stepped on a piece of pretzel. When I say yelled at, I mean, as if I was a teenager. Came to the back of the bus, turned the music off, and began threatening cleaning fees........ for a pretzel... no one vomited or spilled anything. The bus as left in perfect shape when we exited. I was appalled and embarrassed. A simple vaccuum or dustbuster would have taken care of it... was he not planning on vacuuming after the party? We are all professionals in our 30s or 40s, hardly the rowdy party you may be picturing. There were other issues that night... telling people they were cut off and such... the whole reason we got a limo was because we would be drinking. Everyone was having a good time, singing, dancing and such... no one became sick... no one was fighting or being destructive. But I was willing to deal with them since I had booked them for my wedding as well. A few weeks before my wedding, I received an email from Phil telling me that his company is losing business for a negative review someone in my party left on Yelp. I told him several times that the review was not left by myself or anyone in my party. If it was, I would know. In fact, the only person who knew the name of the company was myself. The review mentioned several things that were not congruent with my experience. It was for a birthday party (not a bachelorette party), the review complained about having to pay cover (we didn't go to any places that required cover), it complained that there was no iPod jack (we brought CD's), and was written by a man (I had a bachelorette party), among other things. He told me that the person who wrote the review changed the details to protect their identity. Who protects their identity on Yelp? Just a bunch of ridiculous accusations. I will say that if I did want to write a negative review I would have every right to do so. That's what these sites are for. I tried to move on after THREE separate emails telling him he is taking this up with the wrong person and he persisted... so 2 weeks before my wedding I cancelled with him and went with another limo company. Not to mention, the limo he quoted me originally was for 21 people, as we had a large wedding party) and he told me 2 weeks before my wedding he had to give me an 18 person limo. Funny how accusing me of writing a bad review resulted in this bad review. The irony. Anyways, if you are looking for a ride to the airport, this is your company. If you want a fun and professional experience for your wedding or party, do not waste your time or money. You really do pay for what you get with this company. If you look around, you will find several other reviews similar to mine floating around on the web. I wish I would have listened to them. I had a wonderful experience planning my wedding and with all my other vendors. This was an unfortunate exception

see if I can view his fleet of limos. He then was willing to meet with my husband (fiance at the time!) a few days later and allow him to view his limos as well. We were able to see two of his party busses and they were very clean and in excellent condition- both inside and outside. they are up to date with decor and technology. we felt a good vibe from the owner, Phil, and believe that we experienced his genuine personality that was very friendly and personable. He was willing to spend whatever time with us that we needed to ask our list of questions. Phil was very flexible with his time on the day of the wedding as well when issues with the tuxedos delayed our day. We are so pleased that we arranged for a limo on our wedding day and we are very pleased with the service that we received from Phil at All Around Limos.
