Does not even deserve 1 star. Audio you can't hear unless its turned up all the way. Shots of the ceiling, can hear the clicking of trying to zoom in and out on a shot, blurry then comes into focus, cut off names of my wedding party being announced, filmed in "night vison" while people are dancing(my guest have glowing eyes). Transitions horrible, shots of the grass and the videographers boots walking (that was the 2nd editing btw). The camera used to film was nothing high tech but a cheap model you have laying around your house somewhere. You could buy for less than $100.00 at Wal-Mart. Had to fake an apt to get a hold of Kim. Does not return phone calls or emails. Had to take her to small claims court to get my "re-edited" version which was just as bad as the 1st. Was awarded money back by the judge cause she even agreed it was garbage after watching them both. Kim refuses to pay me. Even told me she was going to pay me and to come to her office via text message knowing full well she moved her office. So she sent me on a wild goose chase with no intentions of paying me. Save yourself the hassle and stay away at all costs. I will never get that day back or the money spent on this. It's been almost a year and a half of pure non scene. I have never dealt with same one so unprofessional in my life. Most business want to make it right and make their clients happy (within reason). That is not what you will find here. She will tell you she was sick at the time of my wedding and hired others to do it for her. But does not understand she is still responsible for the work coming out of her business. Even BBB states the business has a D rating. You can do your homework and look for yourself. I was hopefully she would honor her judgment and pay me. So out of curtesy I had not left a review hoping it would be an even trade. But that is no longer the case. If anyone would like to see the type of product they produce please let me know I will gladly show you.
Mercedes hit the nail on the head. My wife and I married in June 2019. Wedding was perfect. After that has been horrible. We have been calling the business, texting Kim's cell, messaging her on Facebook, etc. Nothing. The only thing we have is a disc with our pictures on it. Still waiting on our prints, coffee table books, and our album. She will not return our calls. We are perusing legal action. STAY AWAY.
My wedding was in November 2018. Kim was very professional and helped get the wedding party together and ready for photos. However, after the wedding it has been a nightmare. We received a disk of our photos with no problem. We ordered a photo book and numerous prints. I was told in July 2019 that the book was sent to get printed and should be ready in a couple of weeks and she will let me know when the book and the prints came in. I have emailed her 4 times and called 5 times. She has been ignoring both still. Now im going to have to take legal action to get what we paid hundreds for. Avoid them with all cost!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER TWO YEARS TO HAVE OUR WEDDING PHOTOS COMPLETED. WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM. THE OWNER REFUSES TO ANSWER OUR CALLS AND EMAILS. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE AND USE THIS COMPANY
We hired Kim from All Around for our wedding in July 2018. It took her until Christmas to provide our wedding video and upon receipt, the video is of very poor quality for the $1,000+ that we paid for it. Kim will not respond to email and we sent a certified letter to her outlining the issues with the video and requesting a refund on December 26th. Kim has still not signed for this letter as of today, February 20th. The overall service from the business was terrible, Kim showed up unprepared for our wedding, never brought the list of pictures that we wanted taken at the wedding and never took a picture of us with my wife's parents. Absolutely terrible service and product. As communicated to the owner: On the main video page, not only are our names not centered, but the word “Play” is blurred and appears to be two words on top of each other. • The video was taken by someone who clearly does not have a steady hand, an amateur such as myself, could have taken a much steadier video. • The camera appears to be totally out of focus throughout much of the entire video. • Numerous scenes including inside the house and most importantly, during our vows, were videoed with Kim in the picture including videoing her back side as we were taking our vows. • The video of my Best Man and me placing boutonnieres on each other, totally cut off our heads, you can’t even tell that it was us in the video. • The sound quality during the ceremony is absolutely awful and clearly shows that Kim and her team did not use a high quality video camera with a noise filter. Throughout most of the ceremony, you hear rustling and breathing noises from the Videographer. • During the tribute that was done by the Bride's friend during the ceremony, the Videographer did not video the person who was speaking until after several minutes and all we can hear is the Videographer breathing. • At numerous times throughout the video, the video appears to be distorted. • Kim was instructed that during the Bride's dance with her Father and her Best Friend, to use the music in the video that was being played during each dance, not just the music that the bride and I danced to. • The scenes with our friends being asked questions have several issues: First, for many of the responses, there is so much background noise that you can’t hear what our guests are saying. Second and most importantly, the Videographer did not ask the questions that were provided to Kim in her “Wedding Reception Planner”. • The Videographer never recorded my Bride and I being introduced at the start of the reception. • The video ends with my Bride and I standing together…..there is no closing music, no narrative such as “David & Michelle. July 18, 2018”, no ending whatsoever. It simply leaves you hanging.
I really wanted to write a positive review of All Around, as I wrote very positive reviews for our other wedding vendors, but it is important that future brides and grooms know the truth and avoid making the same mistake as I did, which was the biggest mistake of our entire wedding.
1. It took FOURTEEN (14!) months to receive the video.
2. Wedding was in October 2017. All Around’s owner said the video would be done in March 2018, then May 2018, but didn’t deliver.
3. From June 2018 to December 2018, I sent 8 emails and my wife and I called a total of over 12 times. The owner didn’t respond to any of those. Being ignored for 7 months caused us great stress and anxiety, as we thought that we would never receive the video. Ignoring customers’ emails is also very disrespectful.
4. We needed to involve an attorney, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and a news station. Fearing them, the owner Finally provided the video, but without any apology. Again, disrespectful.
5. I had provided specific instructions to provide the full ceremony unedited. The owner ignored those instructions and cut out key parts.
6. The sound quality of both the ceremony and reception is horrible and erratic. I can’t hear the readers in the ceremony at all and can’t hear parts of the maid of honor/best man speeches. We have requested and are waiting to receive the raw footage, so that hopefully, we can have another editor fix the issues.
7. Owner/photographer walked in front of video twice during vows.
8. Owner was late to every pre-wedding meeting (had to call her while standing outside of her locked office for 15+ minutes) and was late to bridal party getting ready wedding morning.
9. There have been 5 complaints against All Around to the BBB in 2018 alone. Refer to the BBB website. Also, read Wedding Wire reviews by Greg (married 6/10/2017) and Cassandra (married 8/26/2017) and read the Google review by Lisa DiMartino (December 2018). You will see many others had the same experience as ours. The owner always has excuses, but as bride and groom, do you want a quality product timely or do you want excuses?
10. Before owner stopped communicating, owner gave excuse that she had twins, which would be valid,
except she had 3 months from our wedding to the birth to edit our video, so she had plenty of time before their birth but procrastinated.
This is the biggest day of your lives and already has enough stress, so I recommend choosing a vendor who will provide great quality products in a timely manner, respond to emails and calls promptly, and not cause additional stress.
I have never been more disappointed with any service I've ever have. Alex, the photographer who was there the day of our wedding was amazing. She listened to everything we wanted and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The wedding day wasn't the issue it was dealing with Kim afterwards.
We submitted our photos that we wanted in our photo book back in November 2017. She did not respond with how long it would take right away. So I emailed her again in December. She said she would have it by the end of next week. Meanwhile every time I emailed her, i had to email her twice in order to get a response.
Every time I emailed her about the album i was always told it'll be done by the end of the week, which was never the case.
We finally just got our album today. After I emailed her 3 times over the course of a month to see where it was. No apologies in the email just that we could pick it up any weekday after 4. My husband went to pick it up and it was no surprise that it was yet again no apologies for making us wait 4 months for what we were originally told would be done next week.
I would never recommend to anyone for any occasion.
Stay Away at all costs! Kim will sell you on her business and tell you what you want to hear. We were worried about time line of finished product and Kim told us it takes only a couple of weeks after the wedding to get back to us. We hired her for Video Services and what we ended up with was almost a legal battle. Let us just say we paid over $1,000 for a home video I should have had a family member do for FREE!! You have to baby Kim, and the excuses never stop. Everything from "I'm Pregnant to sick...etc. Once she has your money, she doesn't care about you or the final product. They did mic the groom (me) on the wedding, so we could hear the vows, and yet none of that made the video. Also, 3 cameras were used during our ceremony. yet Kim's editing only portrayed a small portion of the story, as moments were missed such bringing our flower's before Mary. Also, half of disc 2 was without sound!
Kim also learned our phone number's and would ignore our calls and not return them when we wanted the error's fixed. It took getting ready for small claims court for her to finally fix the error's.
When a business does not have the dignity to respect their customer's, they should not be in business! Stay away, an extra $20 bucks at her competition, will save you 4 months of headaches!
On a recommendation, we chose all around for our wedding pictures. What sold us was the fact that there was no time limit on how long we’d have our photographer for the day especially since we planned on taking a majority of our pictures at other locations around buffalo before our actual ceremony, for options. Kim was extremely helpful coming up with venues to take pictures, and all our meetings leading up to our wedding day seemed to go well. But since getting our pictures back, that I have probably looked over 1,000 times now, my husband & I are extremely disappointed in them. After planning our wedding for a year and half, our pictures were something I thought I'd have forever but I honestly only have a handful that are good enough to even keep/display. The DAY OF our wedding, Kim came onto my limo and informed me that she had eye surgery, something she said wasn’t planned. Whether it was or not I don’t know, but her knowing she had our wedding booked, we should have been informed before the actual day of our wedding and given the chance to explore our options, not be thrown the information ON OUR WEDDING DAY and have no other choice but to move forward as nothing was wrong. A majority of our pictures are blurry, have major shadows, and the lighting is horrible. Any decent pictures we do have, I’ve had to edit myself. For someone who has been doing this for years, she didn’t leave us with many options either. All our pictures are the same poses and same angles at every location we went too, no diversity or creativity at all. To us, she seemed more click happy (she took over 1,000 pictures) than giving us quality pictures. And take this into consideration if you thinking about hiring them…..the one picture I do have framed in my house, my FAVORITE picture from our wedding day, was taken by one of my bridesmaids not my photographer.
All Around Photography, Video, and Sound provided professional service, a smiling face, a great attitude, and an amazing product all for a great value. Kim was SO fast when it came to responding to our many inquiries via calls and texts (texting was a nice alternative that my husband and I appreciated). She captured so many beautiful photos of our first look, pictures we needed to have (family, vows, cake), pictures of the party, and even pictures that we had no idea she was taking (they turned out to be our favorites - rings in the flowers, my husband walking it out with his cousin, all the laughter that I still have no idea how she was able to capture so seamlessly). Further than the photography, she was in the midst of the wedding activities, offering support and suggestions that made our lives SO much easier. Finally, once all was said and done and it was time to order our pictures, Kim sat with us to go over each picture we wanted to order in detail. Without reservation, I recommend Kim and her company to any couple who is looking for an A+ photographer that will exceed your expectations.
All-Around Photography was punctual at returning emails and were very professional the day of the wedding. They were great at making sure we got all the pictures we wanted plus creative ones we hadn't even thought of. Our photographer, Kim, even brought along an assistant who she was training at no additional cost. We just gave her a guest's meal from a last minute cancellation. Kim was also good at moving large groups of people around.
He was pleasant and easy going that is all I have to say that I like about him;Well I don't know where to start on our wedding day he was supposed to take according to our package (which was paid in full) 450-500 pic's. He only took 232 pic's. And the indoor pictures turned out either to light or to dark. He never took pictures of my only living grandparent no pic's of my mother and me. And very few pictures of the bride and groom alone. He didn't take any spontaneous pictures. My girlfriend took better pictures. His outdoor pictures were better but again didn't take very many. And at the reception he never took pictures of us talking to our guest and mingling. So many pictures he didn't take. I asked him why he only took 232 pictures and he had no answer he don't know!!!! I feel like giving his name but I won't.
