All Around Raleigh DJ Company

All Around Raleigh DJ managed to keep our dance floor packed all night long. Eric played every song I requested and followed my suggestions of the type of music I wanted to play to a tee. He was responsive to all of my questions and requests and made planning a breeze. My guests are still raving about how our dance floor was one of the most fun they've seen - and this is all thanks to Eric and All Round Raleigh DJ!

Eric was wonderful to work with, he did an amazing job at our wedding. He did a great job noticing if no one was dancing and faded the song out into another one. He was constantly checking in with us and our families to make sure we got what we wanted.

Eric not only had the dance floor packed the entire night, but he was so in tune to the flow of the songs and what the crowd wanted. He even came up to my husband and I at the end of the night and let us throw in one last song which ended up being the highlight of our night. Would highly recommend All Around Raleigh DJ to anyone who wants to have a reception full of dancing!

Eric was absolutely wonderful at our small wedding last month! He worked with us to make everything perfect, despite a small crowd had everyone dancing all night, and cued all of the various elements perfectly. He also just personally has a wonderful sense of humor and we'll definitely be working with him at any future events, personal or professional!

Eric DJ'd my sons wedding and performed for the ceremony. Super nice handsome guy. He was prompt to answer questions before the wedding day. He popped in by email to see how things were going. He was highly recommended by our wedding planner and she didn't lead astray. He was easy going when we had a major glitch just before the ceremony was to start. He just kept doing his thing until we were ready. He was looked and acted professional, made our evening run very smooth from start to finish. I attribute much of that to Eric because he kept us moving from one event to another in a low-key manner ...ceremony, refreshment, dinner, toasts, grand re-entry of the newlyweds and the bridal party, first dances, open dance floor, the last dance and the send off! Many compliments on the beautiful and oh so fun evening from those who attended. I highly recommend Eric!

We cannot give Eric enough praise and gratitude. We have been to weddings in the past, and it is obvious how the DJ can either make or break the evening. Eric was the biggest reason all of our friends and family wouldn't get off the dance floor and really partied the night away. Everyone had so much fun and that is in large part due to him. Could not recommend All Around Raleigh DJ enough for our wedding!! Jim and Eric were so professional and so easy to work with!! My husband and I wanted all 80s and 90s pop and rock played at our wedding and Jim created a PERFECT playlist! He kept the party going all night and played some absolute classics. We had such a wonderful time at our wedding and Michael was a big part of that! We had several conversations with Michael in the months and days leading up to our wedding and he was always easy to talk to, organized, and had some great ideas. Other than several specific song selections, we let Michael select the majority of the music and we are so glad that we did. He utilized different genres of music at different parts of the wedding ceremony and reception which really helped things flow nicely and kept everyone happy and having fun. Our day was better than we would have ever anticipated and are so grateful that Michael was a part of it.

Eric from All Around Raleigh DJ was AMAZING! We hired him for our wedding at Angus Barn Oct 2019. He ensured every detail was covered from names, to order of entrance, to seamless song playing that led to an outstanding party. I’m pretty sure all 200 of our attendees were dancing for the whole reception. Do not consider anyone else besides All Around Raleigh DJ - you’ll have a party you’ll never forget and the toasts captured with the old school microphone were priceless. Have to mention how prompt his communication pre-wedding was too - email, text, call, he was always available to answer every question and put any concern to ease! Nick was our DJ for our wedding at our home. He did an amazing job. He was engaged all night with the bride and groom and their guests. He listened to the recommended playlist and did a great job of coming up with songs to play from there. He was a lot of fun and made our night a memorable one. The owner of the company is very involved and responsive as well. It was a great experience! I would definitely recommend this company.

We got married on September 1, 2019. Jim Unger from All Around Raleigh DJ was our DJ for the night. We literally could not have asked for anyone better for the task! Jim was spot-on with the best playlist we could have ever hoped for. Everyone was on the dance floor all night, having a fantastic time. Jim created an individualized playlist that fit us as a couple perfectly. We could tell he spent a lot of time perfecting the playlist. Not only did he do a great job as a DJ, but he was also considerate, thoughtful and very good at communicating with us so we could be in sync with the timing of entrances, first dances, speeches and toasts, cake cuttings, etc. Jim gave us the perfect wedding reception and we could not recommend him highly enough.

My husband and I got married on May 25, 2019 and hired Michael from All Around Raleigh DJ to DJ our wedding. To say Michael went above and beyond is an understatement. It's almost 2 months since our wedding and I am still hearing from guests how great Michael was. From the beginning Michael was attentive and offered great suggestions. We met multiple times throughout the wedding planning process. Our dance floor was packed from the moment Michael started playing music until the very last song. Michael listened to everything we said, offered great suggestions and had everyone dancing non stop. My husband secretly communicated with Michael about a surprise dance he had practiced and included all the guests in, Michael communicated with Jared and wow did they surprise me. We cannot say enough good things about Michael. Thank you Michael for making our day the best day of our lives.

Michael with All Around Raleigh DJ is incredible! Leading up to the big day, we had as many meetings and calls as needed to finalize all of the details - which there's so much more a DJ does than just playing music for the reception. He had the organization down pat. Day of was seamless. We had our whole wedding at the same venue, but in three different areas. Michael had each area set & ready to go with zero interruptions to get from one to the other. The first, F/D & M/S dances were timed perfectly and faded out when needed - seeming like the song always sounded this way. For the dancing portion of the evening, Michael created the only problem you'll ever want to have at a wedding - not having rented a big enough dance floor. We had many discussions about type of music leading up to, and he always was on the same page. Michael created an incredible environment for fun. The dance floor was packed all night! Periodically, he'd check in with us if there was anything he could specifically play, and neither my husband nor I could think of anything better! Michael was truly killing it. Receiving a thumb drive of all of our music was the icing on the cake! It will help us relive the day over & over for years to come.

My sister used All Around Raleigh DJ for her wedding in 2013 and my husband and I just used them for our own wedding this year. They are amazing to work with! Eric was extremely helpful, prompt, and comforting. He made our entire experience stress free - from start to finish. Our wedding day was seamless and Eric had a huge part in making it that way! Eric was great. He understood and had fun with the music. We had complements from multiple people spanning our friends and our parents friends about the music. Which was largely Eric's work. He did exactly what we wanted. Which was get everyone onto the dance floor. We even had some extra fun activities like a traditional Jewish and Greek dance. He totally ran with it and made it very memorable.

Jim was amazing! Jim DJ'd our wedding in May 2019 and we absolutely loved working with him! He was so easy to work with and created a wonderful experience on the dance floor. He served as a second hand in managing the speeches and did a fantastic job of helping us keep the reception on time throughout the night. His music great and we continue to receive compliments on the music selection for the night.

All Around Raleigh DJ Company did an excellent job with my daughters wedding. Michael was the best fit for us. He was kind and he was easy to work with. He did a great job of meeting with us and listening to what we wanted at her reception. He had great suggestions and followed through with such talent and fun. He kept the evening in just the right mood for dinner and dancing! We would chose them again!

All Around Raleigh DJ is one of the preferred vendors at our venue, The Cotton Room, and it is easy to see why. From the moment we spoke with Eric, he put us at ease with his relaxed yet highly professional demeanor. He immediately understood our music style, as well as what we meant when we stipulated no cheesy or over-played wedding music. He gave us a great deal on doing both the ceremony and reception music, as well as being the emcee for the evening. He kept in touch with us throughout the year of planning to make sure we were doing okay and help with other vendor recommendations. He had a detailed survey that helped us plan the music for the ceremony and several special moments throughout the ceremony (introductions, first dances, cake cutting, etc). We were able to incorporate songs from many of the artists we had seen in concert together, which made it so meaningful. Prior to the wedding Eric sent a detailed timeline for that day to make sure we fit everything in and had plenty of time at the end for open dancing. Very sadly Eric had a major family emergency come up the day before our wedding and could no longer be our DJ. He was able to quickly activate the DJ backup plan within his company though, and Evan immediately stepped in to cover. Evan had all of the information with had sent and talked about with Eric and did a phenomenal job. The ceremony went smoothly and the dance floor was full all night. I had so much fun and so did my (now husband)! So glad with went with All Around Raleigh DJ for our wedding!

We knew that Eric was going to be great when he spent an hour talking to us on the phone even before we officially hired him for our wedding. Eric When you said we were in good hands with Jim as our DJ you weren’t kidding! We had the best wedding in the history of weddings because of him! The Pinehurst Resort experienced possibly their first “northern” wedding and Jim handled it like the pro he is! He had us on the dance floor at every possible moment - just like we wanted. Eric from All Around Raleigh DJ was the best DJ we could have imagined for our reception! He did an awesome job understanding the type of music we wanted to play, and the song choices matched the flow of the reception perfectly. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and he played the perfect combination of songs that appealed to our entire range of guests. Later in the night, he even let my husband and I guest DJ at the turntables--it was a blast, and something we'll always remember! Eric was very thoughtful all night--my dad referenced a Blake Shelton song during his speech, and Eric noticed that small detail and played the song a few moments later! He was also an awesome emcee and helped with transitions throughout the reception. Every wedding reception needs a DJ like Eric--and it was true, we did need a bigger dance floor!

Eric was awesome- we cannot say enough positive things about our experience with him! He came highly recommended by a friend whose wedding I attended a couple years ago, and I'm so glad we found him! From the beginning he was incredibly professional and we were confident that he would do an excellent job. He was laidback and easy to work with and always had a smile on his face - unlike some DJs we saw at bridal shows who tried too hard to push their services, we never felt pressured, and Eric didn't need to convince us that he was the right choice - his experience and personality as well as fantastic reviews (including from a trusted friend) made it an easy choice. He was always really helpful and responsive whenever we had questions, and took time to understand the kind of music we liked and to personalize things for us. He had some great ideas/suggestions for things that made our night even more special. One example was that we were thinking about doing an anniversary dance - he suggested finding out who was married the longest, which turned out to be my parents, and playing their first dance song - this made them so happy. He even made last minute changes to the ceremony music at our request less than 24 hours out. He helped to make sure the night ran smoothly and that everyone was having fun and dancing! Everyone had an amazing time and he was a fantastic MC for our night, worth every penny! We cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was impressed with All Around Raleigh DJ from my initial inquiry through our wedding date. The real reason you should get Eirc as your DJ, isn't because his actual DJing (even though that was absolutely phenomenal). The real reason you should use Eric, is because he treats you like a real couple getting ready to get married. He talks to you personally, and makes sure he understands what you are looking for. When asked for recommendation about services he was candid and didn't give me a sales pitch, which is about the greatest thing you can get from any vendor. Even during the wedding itself he was sure to ask us questions about how we wanted things done and whether or not we were ok with different options. His customer service and interaction, above everything else, is why you should use him. Oh yea, his DJing was pretty good too!

Eric was our DJ for our November 11th wedding and he did a phenomenal job. His music choices were so well balanced between our requests and songs he knew would keep people on the dance floor. We knew we wanted him as our DJ after the first time we spoke with him! We live about an hour and a half away from where our wedding was so he would set up FaceTime calls for our meetings which helped us out so much. His personality and energy were exactly what we wanted at our wedding and I would highly recommend him!

Eric was our DJ for our December wedding and he was hands down one of the best wedding professionals we worked with. My now husband and I had several quirky requests (doing our grand entrance to the theme song from the TV show Friends, introducing the wedding party by nicknames, a twist on the traditional bouquet/garter toss, and doing our last dance to "Can you feel the love tonight?" from the Lion King). Eric didn't try to talk us out of anything and found a way to make everything we wanted worked. Those quirky touches ended up being some of our favorites from the night. Organized, good music, and helpful. All Around Raleigh also organized our photo booth, which was awesome. From putting together music to helping my mom load up the car, he was so great to have and I highly recommend them!

Michael was absolutely amazing, I can't recommend him enough! He was extremely helpful during the entire wedding planning process and quick to respond to any questions. He played awesome music during the wedding and all of our guests commented on how wonderful the music was!

Michael is something special! He was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding, he has such great ideas and insights that he always presents in a very friendly and approachable way, he is so kind and wonderful to be around, and above all else he is great at his job! We got married during Hurricane Matthew and the schedule got a little delayed. Michael ( and all of our other incredible vendors!) was kind enough to stay for an extra hour in order to ensure that we had a great party with tons of people on the dance floor. We are so grateful!
