We booked a tasting and got our days all mixed up while doing wedding planning. Simon called us and let us know if we could be there in 30 minutes he would be willing to still let us come. We sat down and after the first bite, realized this was definitely going to be our catering team. Every bite after was just adding to the certainty. We picked out our own meal plan, ordered the milkshake bar and even did a custom appetizer that wasn't on the menu. We loved every part of it! Their team was very quick to clean off the sweetheart table, a little too quick at times as my drinks kept disappearing. However, they served us well and the food was a huge hit among guests, some of which are pretty picky eaters. They also had a lot of additional services that they offered such as rentals, we didn't take them up on it, but figured someone reading might. If I lived in California, I would be hiring them for every party I host!

Simon, Samantha, and their team were absolutely wonderful! They really are all aspects because we did 90% of our wedding with them! The food was wonderful, the set up for tables and chair rentals was amazing. Additionally Sam was our day of coordinator and she made the day perfect and stress free!
We had about 160 guests with an off site ceremony and separate dinner and cocktail hour location and they made everything seamless. I cannot wait to use them again for our future events!

to tell us how good the food was and going back for seconds and thirds. Everyone is still talking about it almost 2 weeks later. From the tray passed hors doeuvres (we had coconut shrimp, raspberry Brie bites and mini California burritos) to the buffet (we had the basil pesto chicken and tri tip), everything was delicious and very well prepared. Also, our venue did not have a kitchen onsite and All Aspects had to drive a decent distance to our venue and you never would have known as the food was extremely fresh. Their staff was so kind, approaching each table to ask how their meal was, constantly refilling drinks and bussing tables quickly. My husband and I have both worked in the hospitality industry for 10+ years and we were so impressed by the service they offered at our wedding. We cannot recommend them highly enough for your wedding!

the time to answer all of our questions and worked with us to make sure every detail felt personalized to our event. We chose an all-inclusive option for our event and had them handle our chair rentals as well, which took a huge weight off our shoulders and prevented a lot of stress.
The food was absolutely amazing! Many of our guests commented that both the food and service felt like they were dining at a high-quality restaurant. The staff was professional, attentive, and made the whole experience seamless.
The bar service was also excellent. We brought in our own alcohol, and the bartender went above and beyond, even improvising with what we had to create specialty drinks when we started running low on certain options. Our guests loved it!

good or needed anything. The food was hot and fresh, I believe they cook the food onsite so it’s super fresh when they serve it. I am getting hungry just talking about how yummy everything was! Simon was also very professional and honestly one of my fav vendors to work with as the bride. He was always so quick to respond to me, I appreciated that very much because as a bride, quick responses from your vendors eases a lot of anxiety. Good job to Simon and his team I appreciated all the work they did to cater our wedding!

ry preferences. Her team, Barb and Rhonda, were lovely on the day of the wedding. Truly, made my guests and bridal party feel welcomed. Grateful for this staff and the food was absolutely delicious. There was a debate on which whether the chicken or the steak was better but I have a hard time on deciding which one was better. All great things. I highly recommend working with them if you want a seamless event.

Very sad experience with this company. The food for 90 people at our daughter's wedding was served cold! I suspect the sterno blew out and went undetected. Thats a mistake. But...
the manager Simon's response to our complaint was unprofessional and surprising. He insisted that the food was hot when served and got cold from the cold air and wind between the food table and the dining table 15 feet away! The bride's diner was cold and she was served first! Simon countered with a barrage of flimsy excuses blaming us and the weather but never conceding that something might have gone wrong on his end. ALl of the guests we asked confirmed the food was cold but Simon insists it was hot and he wasn't even there! The staff was nice and the food would have been good if warm.
Also, the bartender didn't know how to make the Groom's signature drink which was part of the bar offering. Simon blamed us for not providing the recipe! It was Old Fashioned! A common drink! We had signs on the bar advertising it and she didn't ask or google it! The bitters and sugar cubes were unused the next day!
Mistakes can happen but most companies would be realistic about the cause. Simon is completely in denial. That is what really gives us a bad feeling about this company.

Pros- very informative when planning the wedding ahead of time and the taste testing went super well. We fell in love with the food( ...
we got the taco bar). Samantha was a huge help after some poor communication about change in prices.
Cons- I know inflation was happening during our planning process however Simon never once communicated in an email that they had to start changing prices themselves and if we were to change anything on the contract they had free rain to update the other costs. Simon never told us about the price changes and how he would increase everything else on our contract when we changed our guest count.
They didn’t bring the right runners for the reception. They packed up my dinner plate while I went to the restroom. Never got to finish dinner and they never offered to pack the leftovers for me and my husband. They said they would have a water station. We didn’t get one.
We had a last dance and had our guest wait outside with glow sticks till we were done. Their crew was so loud and breaking down the room while we had our dance and not allowing us to really appreciate the moment
Overall I would book them for the food but not for the rest.

-flexibility in adding things on/taking things out (we did all our food and rentals through them).
Cons
-poor communication, so much so that Simon tried to over charge us on our guest count saying that we didn’t get our final count to him in time when in fact, I instructed him to go back and look at his inbox…ah-ha a message sitting in his inbox for 10 days (25 days leading up to our wedding) that he had neglected to give the time to. Even then, I’m still pretty sure he over charged us for things that were taken off and others added in.
-absolutely no clean up service post wedding
Although I will say that the pros outweighed the cons, I was pretty disappointed in the communication on Simon’s end. Especially so close to our wedding date, I even told my fiancé that it felt like he was just waiting for us to mess up or forget a due date of something so that he could then over charge us. I understand that these times of COVID are stressful on everyone but when a couple is planning their big day, communication is key. If you choose to book with All Aspects, be ready to hold yourself accountable, mark every date in your calendar (a day or two early) because he won’t give you a little nudge, reminder of things coming up (like my other vendors did). Just know that everything will be pretty much up to you and your ability to be proactive. A friend of mine also booked with him for her wedding a few weeks after mine and said the same thing. It was tough on her as well with such poor communication. But hey! Food was great.

During the whole process, Simon was attentive, very easy to work with and flexible with our appetizer choices. Samantha was great also and I would love to work with them again for any other event.

ally cares about his business. For one they cook the food fresh on-site! Talk about a huge step up from other catering companies. My guests were super happy and constantly raving about how delicious and FRESH the food was. Simon was in constant contact with me the entire time we planned out his services. I booked almost 1 year out from my wedding date and would get periodic check-ins to see how everything was going. This man doesn't just worry about your food, he is there for tables rentals, DJ services, bartending, even down to the linen napkin color! Simon and his staff were on top of it! I recently learned he has been in the business for over 15 years. If you need one less thing to worry about on your wedding day, let All Aspects take care of it for you!

edding business. He initially offered me a tasting for September 28th at 4:30pm. We informed Simon that we had a tasting scheduled for the same day and asked for another slot. He offered 9/24 but again, we had other wedding business scheduled. While on the phone, he said the he can only push the tasting to 4 pm on 9/28. Since the other tasting we had scheduled was complimentary, the FH decided to go ahead and pay for the $75 tasting. On 9/24, Simon reached out and said that we missed our tasting appointment. When met with confusion, he exact words were "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding on your part..." This completely rubbed me the wrong way and I decided to not proceed with All Aspects. Shame.

stopped responding to us about 4 weeks prior to the wedding, so when we had guests no longer able to come, we couldn't change the numbers (despite it being 3 weeks prior), so we were stuck paying for those unused plates and did not get the food boxed or anything.
Our last communication with him was 4 weeks prior to the event and we were informed at that time that the bartender would arrive with NOTHING. We had to provide shakers, ice buckets, jiggers, cups, etc. What bartender/caterer doesn't have their own serving materials?!
The bartender was awful! Despite us giving him a recipe card for our specialty cocktail, he made them all wrong and they tasted terrible. He also did not understand any of the craft wines and beers as he didn't even know the grapes used in the wine (it said on the bottle) or what types of beers they were (again, look at the can). When I FINALLY was able to get to the bar, he was serving people that got to the bar after me, before me. I wanted to remind him that I was paying him for the night and I'm the bride. So needless to say I just walked away because I needed to get back to greeting everyone and hosting and did not have a single drink all night at my wedding. He also left without cleaning anything. My hubby and I were left to bartend the rest of the reception and clean up after him.

cently ranked top San Diego venue. The food was yummy! It was also very helpful that Simon arranged a couple of his staff members to cater and check up on my groom and I all night. We were well taken care of. Another thing that was important to me was my family not having to assist with anything and guest tables were tended to often. This was no problem for Simon and the All Aspects team.
One thing I liked about Simon and All Aspects was that they ensured to attend my walk through with my venue. During this time, we talked about how things should be set up and where, what worked best, and any last-minute details. This made the day of the wedding run so smoothly! All Aspects knew exactly what the plan was and went straight to work.
Next thing I enjoyed about Simon and All Aspects was their flexibility. We told Simon our desired budget for the food and he worked with us to ensure we meet that budget and covered all the needs of our guests.
Also, Simon assisted with getting us propane heater rentals on short notice. The weather had started getting cold at night and our venue recommended heaters. Simon could get them, at a reasonable price, and sent them up all.
My only suggestion or change I would have made to our set up was our baked potatoes bar. I believe since it was a part of the buffet line it slowed the line for dinner down tremendously. Maybe having the toppings for the baked potatoes separate would assist in the flow of the buffet line.
Simon at All Aspects has many things to offer for any events. We will most definitely look to work with them again for future events because they satisfied many needs for the biggest day of our life.

We had a destination wedding so after speaking with Simon I took a leap of faith and put a deposit down. He then allowed me to do a food tasting and make any menu updates I wanted to just 2 months out from the wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and the tasting surpassed our expectations. The day of our wedding was AMAZING- the entire crew catered to our every want/need, especially Natalie and James. From the place settings, linens, appetizers, display, taste of the food to the crews serving and helping out, everything was fantastic. Chef James was so enthusiastic and provided entertainment for everyone at the wedding while making sure the bride and groom had anything they needed (entrée, dessert, beverages, etc.). All of our guests loved the food and commented on the interaction of the crew as well. Thank you so much for your help from the very beginning down to the end of the night, we appreciate everything and can't say enough good things about our experience!

His tri-tip was delicious and our guests all commented on how amazing the food was. The staff were professional yet fun. They helped us bring our things in from the car and set up our centerpieces. They cut the cake and poured the alcohol and made our night so special. The price was completely reasonable, likely the cheapest in the area, yet we do not think we could have had better food or service elsewhere. We highly, highly recommend Simon and All Aspects Catering.
