The Allegria Hotel was magical! The venue, the wedding catering/events managers, sales team, menu, the chefs and the culinary team, were impeccable every step of the way. Our wedding was planned in less than 4 weeks but the Allegria's Dream Team made it look as if it was 1.5 years in the making! Every guest was in awe of the venue's beauty, the oceanside setting, its glamour, and its attention to service!
First, Randi Fox, was an angel as our Wedding EventsManager, She was always responsive and accessible, calling or emailing right away. She remembered every detail, was incredible attuned to all of our special circumstances, i.e. Halal specifications, my mother's limited mobility, anticipating certain needs for my bridal party and guests. Most importantly, she has the kindest, sweetest demeanor that was always genuinely inviting! She made wedding planning seem effortless.
Jessie Whitman was equally indispensable in helping me set up a wedding block of hotel rooms for guests. She was so attentive, addressed all questions, was always accessible and unfalteringly responsive to my requests. Her persona exudes happiness and it was so evident in her approach to her work.
We had a picture perfect day to get married on the rooftop's pool deck, overlooking the ocean, with a sunset in the background that cast an ethereal glow over our special day. Immediately after the marriage ceremony, the cocktail hour began, taking place in the rooftop bar lounge. My husband & I didn't personally experience cocktail hour ourselves as we were taking wedding photos but per our guests, the cocktail hour was spectacular! Friends & family have continuously regaled us with stories of how blown away they were with the quantity of food during cocktail hour, the presentation, the various stations, the attentiveness of the servers, the fun drinks (Christina & Navin were great at the bar), and most importantly, how mouthwatering it all tasted.
Of course, the cocktail hour was as a prelude to an incredible dinner and dessert course - all compliments of the exquisite efforts of the Allegria chefs, Chef Frank & Chef Justin. Again, every wedding guest radiantly praised that they had never eaten better at a wedding! The entrees were prepared flawlessly and simply scrumptious: the chateaubriand with mushrooms was delectably tender; the herb-roasted chicken piccata was perfectly seasoned and juicy; the roasted salmon impeccably light & flaky with a teriyaki sauce that had an exacting balance of savory umami and sweet. The plates looked as delicious as they tasted. Dessert was out-of-this-world with a Smores station that rocked and pastries galore!
Neither the cocktail hour nor the dinner could be pulled off so pristinely without an exceptional banquet manager. Following cocktail hour at the rooftop, the reception was held in the Grand Ballroom. Sam, the banquet manager, ran a superbly orchestrated evening & was an absolute gentleman! He and his staff carried out the evening with sheer elegance: sophisticated, respectful, and so friendly. Kirkton and Jett were incredible captains and exemplary in their oversight of the evening, providing the penultimate in guest service. Finally, my wedding attendant, Patricia was indispensable. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of, hydrated and fed, and was a like my own fairy godmother.
I could not have been more thrilled with the Allegria for my wedding! I hope to return to it again for future events!!!
