We hosted our wedding at the Allegria in August 2024, and it was an absolute dream from start to finish! The venue is beautiful and truly gives you the feel of a destination wedding without the travel! Our ceremony was the highlight of our wedding! The ceremony was hosted on the pool deck where everyone enjoyed a beautiful summer breeze and amazing views of the beach while the sun started to set! Discounted room block rates are available along with the option to host the rehearsal dinner, after party and farewell brunch, making this the perfect location to celebrate your wedding weekend! The staff went above and beyond for us and did not miss a single detail! They made us feel so special and completely stress free! Both the food and the service were excellent! We couldn’t have been happier with choosing the Allegria for our wedding!

Our recent bridal shower at Allegria Hotel's Jack's Rooftop Bar was nothing short of perfection. The rooftop room/bar offered breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and cityscape of NYC, creating an elegant and enchanting ambiance. The food was not only visually appealing but also exceptionally delicious, catering to diverse tastes.
What truly set Allegria Hotel apart was the exceptional service from every staff member. From the manager, Devin, to the cleanup crew, to the bartenders, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Their proactive approach, consistently anticipating our needs, made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. The genuine hospitality and attention to detail made our day truly special. We had our party at the Hotel Allegria last weekend and were so pleased with how everything turned out….every facet of the event was wonderful, organized, presented beautifully and delicious!!!!
Kirk, our Maitre D, was so terrific….he was able to deal with and solve any issue with efficiency, grace and care…..truly a wonderful and accommodating support in a hectic and frenzied party environment!
We thank our catering planner, Randi Fox, for her guidance and support in getting us through the planning process and dealing with all our issues and questions!!!!!
All in all…the party was a major success….the venue is beautiful, open, warm, fun and inviting!!!
We recommend it wholeheartedly!!!!

I always wait to write a review. Good or bad.
I waited to write this one since last October 2021 when the Allegria hosted our daughter's wedding. I should have written it immediately! We had a rehearsal dinner in the restaurant, a cocktail party the same night before for over 60 people, the reception the next day, overnight accommodations for the bridal party and guests and a breakfast the morning after. They had lots of opportunity to mess up and they knocked it out of the park.
The Allegria and their entire staff are beyond exceptional. My daughter's wedding was perfect. She and I and anybody who was invited/involved or attending the wedding were treated with outstanding attention .
Randi, Jessie, Karen, Jen, Kirk, Jett, Flynn, Omney, Sam...oh i feel like it is an academy award speech and i know i left so many people out. The management / ownership of the Allegria are more than fortunate to have a staff of this magnitude. As the mother of the bride, my stress level was enormous and I was less than confident the wedding would meet my high expectations of perfection I envisioned. It is without a bit of over exaggeration that when we had our meeting with Safwat (Sam for short) and his staff I was feeling a little apprehensive I could get all the set up done and done the way i wanted. He simply said, "what can we do, we will do it". And he did. Amazing.
Each time I turned around somebody was there to help.
If I didn't say it to each of them then, thank you all for making my daughter's wedding perfect.

The Allegria Hotel was magical! The venue, the wedding catering/events managers, sales team, menu, the chefs and the culinary team, were impeccable every step of the way. Our wedding was planned in less than 4 weeks but the Allegria's Dream Team made it look as if it was 1.5 years in the making! Every guest was in awe of the venue's beauty, the oceanside setting, its glamour, and its attention to service!
First, Randi Fox, was an angel as our Wedding EventsManager, She was always responsive and accessible, calling or emailing right away. She remembered every detail, was incredible attuned to all of our special circumstances, i.e. Halal specifications, my mother's limited mobility, anticipating certain needs for my bridal party and guests. Most importantly, she has the kindest, sweetest demeanor that was always genuinely inviting! She made wedding planning seem effortless.
Jessie Whitman was equally indispensable in helping me set up a wedding block of hotel rooms for guests. She was so attentive, addressed all questions, was always accessible and unfalteringly responsive to my requests. Her persona exudes happiness and it was so evident in her approach to her work.
We had a picture perfect day to get married on the rooftop's pool deck, overlooking the ocean, with a sunset in the background that cast an ethereal glow over our special day. Immediately after the marriage ceremony, the cocktail hour began, taking place in the rooftop bar lounge. My husband & I didn't personally experience cocktail hour ourselves as we were taking wedding photos but per our guests, the cocktail hour was spectacular! Friends & family have continuously regaled us with stories of how blown away they were with the quantity of food during cocktail hour, the presentation, the various stations, the attentiveness of the servers, the fun drinks (Christina & Navin were great at the bar), and most importantly, how mouthwatering it all tasted.
Of course, the cocktail hour was as a prelude to an incredible dinner and dessert course - all compliments of the exquisite efforts of the Allegria chefs, Chef Frank & Chef Justin. Again, every wedding guest radiantly praised that they had never eaten better at a wedding! The entrees were prepared flawlessly and simply scrumptious: the chateaubriand with mushrooms was delectably tender; the herb-roasted chicken piccata was perfectly seasoned and juicy; the roasted salmon impeccably light & flaky with a teriyaki sauce that had an exacting balance of savory umami and sweet. The plates looked as delicious as they tasted. Dessert was out-of-this-world with a Smores station that rocked and pastries galore!
Neither the cocktail hour nor the dinner could be pulled off so pristinely without an exceptional banquet manager. Following cocktail hour at the rooftop, the reception was held in the Grand Ballroom. Sam, the banquet manager, ran a superbly orchestrated evening & was an absolute gentleman! He and his staff carried out the evening with sheer elegance: sophisticated, respectful, and so friendly. Kirkton and Jett were incredible captains and exemplary in their oversight of the evening, providing the penultimate in guest service. Finally, my wedding attendant, Patricia was indispensable. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of, hydrated and fed, and was a like my own fairy godmother.
I could not have been more thrilled with the Allegria for my wedding! I hope to return to it again for future events!!!

I had my daughters bridal shower at the Allegria Hotel Rooftop room. Randi was easy to work with and very accommodating! Our maître d’ Captain Kirk was phenomenal. Anything I asked for he gave to me within seconds and always had a smile on his face. I received many compliments from the guests that it was the most beautiful shower they have been to. The food was good, plentiful and very fresh. And the view was stunning!

Our Wedding at The Allegria Hotel was truly magical..
We were blown away with how seamless our day was. We had our June 4th Wedding on the rooftop, cocktail hour inside (upstairs) and reception in the Ballroom. Every part of the day ran smoothly and as we planned. Randi was excellent throughout the process, ensuring all the smaller details were perfect, she even sourced a Rose wine for us which wasn't part of the package.
The Food was so delicious and the staff throughout all of our events couldn't be kinder or more attentive. Captain Kirk, Sam and Marianne were so wonderful and no request was too large. Our cups and plates were always full, we were also impressed by the portion sizes compared to other venues.
Our Cocktail Hour was beautiful and everyone raved about the pasta station and the size of the oysters in our raw bar. Guests at the bar were served quickly and we never had a large line for drinks.
We were able to open the bar area for longer after our event for an afterparty which was great for our guests who were staying over. We worked closely with Jesse and Andrew for our wedding block and they were so helpful in securing rooms for our close family and out-of-town guests. This gave our Wedding the destination feel we were looking for.
We also had our rehearsal dinner on June 3rd and Breakfast on June 5th and both events were equally wonderful, great food, coordination and drinks. Every person we interacted with on the Allegria team was so exceptional. We absolutely loved our day and everyone who was part of it.
The Allegria was the perfect location for our Wedding and everyone enjoyed it so much!!! You will not regret booking this location.

Allegria Hotel literally provided us with the wedding of our dreams, straight out of a fairytale. So many people have told me since “best wedding I’ve ever been to” and it is truly because of the absolutely amazing team at Allegria Hotel! The venue is just spectacular with a stunning view of the ocean. We did our rehearsal dinner in the grand ball room and our ceremony and reception at the roof top and both nights were truly out of this world breathtaking. The quality of the food and drinks at both events were exceptional. The organizational skills of the team at Allegria Hotel - off the charts. Communication was always seamless. Randi would reply even on her day off and worked with us every step of the way. The day off team had everything running so smoothly! Randi, Jett, Capt Kirk, Sam and so many more too numerous to mention will definitely provide the wedding of your dreams! I honestly can say that we would not have changed a thing on either nights and I will always be grateful to this team and venue for their role in this absolutely magical weekend! I would DEFINITELY recommend them!

I am so happy that we chose the Allegria Hotel to host our wedding this past February! The rooftop where our ceremony and cocktail hour were held is just gorgeous. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the ocean and city views throughout our cocktail hour. Then moved to the ballroom for our reception which is equally stunning with crystal chandeliers and plenty of room to eat, drink, and dance. Randi Fox, our catering manager, is UNMATCHED. She is responsive, attentive, communicative, and wonderful to work with. She answered every single question of mine and talked me off the edge regularly. I can't say enough good things about her and her teams service. After the wedding, I provided her some feedback on a few minor issues we ran into during the wedding. She assured me that each and every single one would be relayed to the general manager and rectified for future brides. I highly recommend the Allegria for any event and am trying to think of an excuse to throw another party there soon :)

Everything about our 9/11/21 wedding was spectacular. The venue is not only gorgeous, modern and incredibly chic, but also has great food. Jessie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She guided us through 3 postponements and made every detail we requested come to life. She is incredibly responsive, attentive and kind. We had 135 people and the space felt like the perfect size. The entire team that worked the night of our wedding was so helpful. Our guests loved staying in the hotel and it made the day of timeline incredibly seamless. We were provided a day of suite fir the bridal party to get ready in and a complimentary honeymoon suite for the night of our wedding. Cocktail hour food was delicious.

The Allegria hosted an AMAZING event for our wedding. Everything ran extremely smooth. The staff is all professional and beyond accommodating, so much so that we didn't feel the need to hire a day of planner. My top prioritizes for the wedding was a beautiful space, good food & drink as well as dancing. The venue accommodated all those points! All of the guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the wedding. Randi was our manager on the event and was FABULOUS!! She helped us navigate postponing our wedding and answered all of our various questions along the way, reassuring us each step of the process. Thank you Allegria!

Choosing the Allegria was the best decision for my husband & I!
Our wedding coordinator- Randi Fox, was outstanding!! She helped us every step of the way & made sure that this process was as easy as possible, especially during such difficult times. She was always responsive whether over email or phone call & always made sure that every single question was answered & that we were comfortable every step of the way.
The bridal suites where our wedding parties were fantastic as well. The size of the rooms & views surpassed our expectations.
The venue was also extremely understanding and communicative with the ever changing rules & regulations associated with the Pandemic & we are forever thankful.
Our wedding day was a dream come true & we're so glad to have chosen such a beautiful venue!

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding at the Allegria Hotel. The views, food and staff were all perfect! We loved working with Jessie Whitman. She was always prompt with her responses and she paid close attention to detail. She was also very kind. Jessie was the best person we worked with out of all the vendors! I can’t imagine my wedding day with out her! All of our guests enjoyed staying at the hotel. We hosted a breakfast the morning after the wedding at the hotel that was great as well!

We were very happy with the food and the view provided by the allegria hotel. We had a great stay at the hotel and enjoyed staying for brunch the day after our wedding. There were a few hiccups but overall we had a wonderful wedding. We loved Randi, she was so nice. We ran into issues when she went away and we’re contacted by someone else who was trying to charge us more because she was told that we had over 50 people which was not true. Luckily she rectified the situation but it was not easy. Another issue was that my bridal attendant neglected to put down the aisle for the ceremony and he was the one who miscounted how many guests there were. One last issue was that the day of our wedding, we were taking pictures in the venue while people were touring the venue. It really bothered me to have strangers while I was trying to do my first look with my husband. Again, the only major issue was the miscalculation of people. But the other issues did but a damper on my day.

The entire staff, from Jonathan at the front desk to Michael and Debbie up on the Rooftop (which is magnificent) were awesome!! I wanted for nothing!!! My husband and I got married on October 2, 2020 in Far Rockaway, Queens and chose the Allegria as our venue for the reception, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day.
From the very first interaction with Randi, she was incredible. I did all of the planning and coordinating myself (on my end) and without her help it wouldn’t have been possible. Jessie kept all of my reservations in order, and she too, was incredibly helpful and fantastic from the very beginning. Everyone was quick to answer any questions and offer many possible solutions to any concerns.
The food/bar service was well worth the cost per person. We opted for the chicken, salmon, and steak, and not one person was disappointed. We ended up having less than 30 people in the Grand Ballroom (still paid for 30), which was equipped with a Bluetooth speaker system and mic that we used (included in our rental at no extra cost). They accommodated my coming the day prior with decorations and we were even allowed access that night to decorate the ballroom as we saw fit.
The only concern we had (which I have already informed Randi of) was the state of my decorations when I received them the day after. The staff ended up cleaning up for us and we were not impressed with the way they did so. I had two separate string lights that were in a single knot, pictures (intentionally out of frame) that were crinkled and torn, and I was missing entirely one of the 7” glass candle holders. These however are just things, and can be replaced. My only issue being with the lack of respect for my personal property of which I had paid them to take care of. Regardless, we would recommend this venue to any and all that will listen. With Randi and Jessie around, I am sure you’ll be in good hands!
All in all, our largest regret is not having been able to rent for a longer period of time. Our greatest thanks go to Randi, Jessie, Mike and all of your staff for your help in making our wedding reception the most memorable of our lives so far. We can’t wait to see everyone for our many anniversaries yet to come ❤️

We had a fantastic experience having our wedding at the Allegria. We had initially planned a bigger wedding at a different venue but due to COVID ended up changing our plans and downsizing to a 50 person event. I worked with Randi and Jessie to plan everything and they were both amazing - so responsive and helpful even when I had last minutes updates and changes. The rooftop views were spectacular and many of my guests commented to me about how good the food was. The suite we booked to get ready in was also phenomenal - the ocean views can't be beat!

We had a fabulous bridal shower for 60 in the rooftop space. For several months leading up to the event Tinamarie was extremely attentive to every detail - every question and request that I had was answered quickly. On the day of the shower everything was as she had promised and the room and view were beautiful. The food was fantastic and they followed our timeline for serving appetizers, the buffet, and dessert perfectly. The staff working the party could not have been nicer. I highly recommend having a party at the Allegria!!

We couldn't have picked a more beautiful venue to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends! The Allegria hotel is always kept in immaculate condition and the service is unparalleled. From the beginning, Tinamarie Skijus (our coordinator at the Allegria) promised us nothing less than a spectacular event, and she truly delivered on that promise! From start to finish, Tinamarie was professional, organized and extremely through. Over the course of eighteen months and several meetings, she addressed every single question and concern and covered every last detail, including menu selection, vendors, decor and the day of timeline. She listened to our vision and perfectly executed it beyond our expectations!!
On the day of our wedding, she was ready and waiting as soon as we arrived. She was attentive to any and every need we had, and took care of our guest as if they were family. Her staff was extremely professional and well trained, and hosted our celebration to perfection. Even after my husband's tuxedo button came off, someone was there to immediately sow it back on! Our wedding was nothing short of magical and went off without the slightest hitch. Everything was planned and executed perfectly!! Our guests are still raving about the breathtaking views and the amazing food, starting with the abundant cocktail hour to the delicious dinner and beautiful deserts!
I can't say enough how extremely happy we were with choosing the Allegria Hotel as our reception venue. Between the stunning ocean and city views, beautiful decor, five star service and delicious food, there's nothing else like it!

I can't say enough positive things about the Allegria Hotel. Tina Marie is amazing! She helped us in so many ways. From the moment we first met her we knew she was the person to trust with our special day. It was actually the first place we looked. The views sell themselves, the space is absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious!
Me and my girls got ready in the bridal suite. This room was set up for my personal use and it was perfect. My bridal attendant Maria was the bomb! She helped me with everything. She even helped me to get in and out of my shoes to take photos on the beach! Throughout the entire day Maria was there by my side. I didn't even have to think about getting a drink. As soon as my glass was almost empty she was placing a fresh one in my hand!
Our guests were so impressed with the staff and how attentive they were throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had a block of rooms for overnight guests and they were not disappointed. After the wedding we all gathered at the bar where we lingered until around 2 am. My new husband and I then went back to our own suite where we were greeted by chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne!
We will cherish these incredible memories and we know that this was the perfect place for us to become husband and wife. Thank you to everyone at the Allegria who made our day so special and personalized!

I am still on Cloud 9 over my wedding at the Allegria Hotel this past weekend and that could not be possible without the beautiful venue and help of the amazing staff at the Allegria! I live in NYC and searched tirelessly for venues in the city and did not fall in love with anything. I then decided to expand my search out of the city and I fell in love with the Allegria instantly when I visited. We had our entire wedding on the rooftop - the views were breathtaking and the room had the party-chic vibe I was looking for. The staff at the Allegria are exceptional. I worked with Randi, Geraldine, and Bonnie and they were so patient, accommodating, responsive, and caring throughout the entire planning process. I had numerous requests/concerns throughout the process and they made sure to find a solution for everything so that the wedding would turn out exactly as I had envisioned. The banquet team and the day-of staff were all so friendly and enthusiastic. I am typically a very hands-on person and I was able to be completely hands-off and enjoy every second of my wedding day without worrying about any details and it went as smoothly as could be. Maria, the bridal attendant, is truly an amazing person and she made me feel so relaxed and supported throughout the whole wedding - it would not have been the same without her! The absolute best place to get married! I got married Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect! If you look at the Allegria make sure to ask for Randi!! She was the easiest and nicest person to deal with. She made every aspect of planning my wedding there so easy and enjoyable. She helped me every step of the way. She set up a food tasting for myself, husband, and our parents and we were all blown away by how amazing it was. The food at the wedding was just as good, everyone was talking about how amazing the food was and how perfect the venue rooms were. The room were we had our cocktail hour is the most gorgeous room I have ever seen with floor to ceiling windows showing the ocean and seeing the city skyline. I am so happy I got married there and had Randi as my host.

If I could give Tina Marie and her staff at the Allegria more then five stars I would. From the moment I booked to the day of my wedding Tina Marie was there for me helping in all planning and logistic aspects of the wedding. It was amazing to have this extra support. My ceremony was moved inside due to high winds but the staff was able to move the ceremony into a room with wall to wall windows and views of the ocean. I felt like I was outside! The whole night went smoothly and my bridal attendant Maria was there with me the whole night making sure I had everything I needed. My guests are raving about how much fun they had! Thank you Allegria for making my big day a one to remember!

We got married at the Allegria Hotel and cannot thank our lucky stars enough for the professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, and stellar planning skills of our wedding planner at the Allegria Hotel- Tina Marie. Thank heavens for her!! I can get easily overwhelmed but Tina Marie answered all of my questions promptly and warmly- everytime! Throughout the year and a half engagement (we booked the venue about 3 months after getting engaged) Tina Marie gave us suggestions factoring in our preferences and literally held our hands throughout the wedding planning process. Every minute of my wedding was carefully thought of and planned to perfection. We did a menu tasting a few months before and it was epic! We had the tasting in the cellar room and Tina Marie diligently described the offerings and made notes on what wowed me along with making a note to have tons of hot sauce b/c she knew how much my husband and I love it (she literally is the CUTEST!) On my actual wedding day, I got to work out in their (small but fully equipped) gym- which my guests and myself were super thankful for! The bridal suite was spacious and Tina Marie provided the most delicious spread of sandwiches, fruit, pastries and beverages for my girls (and for the groom suite as well). Thankfully it was a sunny and breezy October day so we had the windows open and got to take in the sounds of the ocean as we got ready! Maria was our day of coordinator (even though we also had Tina Marie!) Maria kept us on schedule, made sure I was hydrated, ensured we actually ate during cocktail hour AND dinner, and literally helped with anything (like helping my mom put shoe inserts or running back up to the rooftop to get my bouquet!) Our guests raved (and still a month later) about the food, amazing cocktails (thanks Chris!), and most importantly, the level of service that every single staff member blessed us with! We are eternally grateful for Tina Marie and the Allegria Hotel for making our day truly perfect!
To address a review below- the hotel (and contract) make it clear that your wedding cake is covered by the Allegria, but it is your responsibility to call and make an appointment to do your cake tasting and order. The bakery that is their vendor is Dortoni Bakery. They did a wonderful job with the cake - both in terms of presentation and quality!

Our wedding was everything we had envisioned, from the rehearsal dinner to the reception. Each of our events was in a beautiful space within the venue, making for a unique experience for us and our guests. The food was consistently good, and there was a ton of it! While we wished there had been a little more attention to the small details, everyone we worked with was flexible and accommodating and made our day just about perfect. Really amazing venue - so thrilled we had our wedding here!

Words can't express how amazing our wedding was at The Allegria Hotel! It was a magical night! First we started in our groomsmen and bridesmaid suites. The staff was wonderful they made sure to bring us food, and drinks. They consistently checked up on us to see if there was anything more we needed throughout our time there. Then came Maria the bridal attendant. What an amazing, wonderful woman. She stayed with us throughout the entire night making sure my dress was bussled correctly, the dress was draped correctly for all pictures, and made sure we had everything we wanted during the wedding. She even helped our friends with anything they needed. She was truly AMAZING! The wedding went so smoothly due to Tina Marie who made sure everything was done how we wanted and on time! There is not one thing we would change about our wedding. It was stress free, beautiful, and more than I could have ever imagined. We danced all night with not a care in the world! Also, did i mention the view for our ceremony on the rooftop? It was to die for! Thank you all the staff at The Allegria Hotel for making our wedding the BEST wedding we could have ever imagined. Our friends cannot stop talking about it!

A truly Magical evening!!!!! Everything was perfection from the minute we arrived to the bridal suites at 9:30 Am, throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception until 11:30PM, throughout the evening and through brunch the following day! Tina, the wedding planner, Maria, the bridal attendant, food service and beverage and security were flawless. A memory to never be forgotten.

Absolutely, totally amazing venue. Tina Marie knows how to run things with ease and perfection. My guests all had magnificent rooms, many on oceanfront. Dinner was delicious and her staff was on point. My son and his now wife got married on the rooftop and everything went off perfectly. Cocktail hour was just wonderful. I even brought in a sushi vendor. The food was plentiful and yummy. Thank you so much Tina Marie for making sure it WAS a night to remember, all the good things were done in every possible way!

We got married at the Allegria Hotel in September of 2017. Having our wedding at Allegria was a total dream come true. As soon as my husband and I saw the rooftop lounge and the rooftop, we knew without a doubt that this was where we wanted to get married. We never looked at any other venues because we knew Allegria was the one. Tina was incredible from the moment we met her. She is such a sweet, thoughtful, caring woman and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Tina promised us we would have the most beautiful wedding and she definitely stayed true to her word. Everything from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception was incredible. The bridal attendant, Maria, was such a sweetheart as well. She was so attentive and helpful the entire day. She made sure my husband and I and our bridal party were always taken care of. Ira was also wonderful. He was so kind and thoughtful and also made sure that our day was perfect. They all treated us like royalty and truly made us feel so special during the best day of our lives. I would recommend the Allegria to anyone who wants to get married on the beach in the most gorgeous venue. The views from the rooftop are absolutely stunning. Everyone raved about our food at cocktail hour and the dinner during our reception. I wish I could have eaten more of the delicious food, but it's true that you don't get to eat as much as you would like because of all the excitement and the fact that the wedding seems to fly by! Our honeymoon suite was amazing too!
We thank Tina, Maria, and Ira from the bottom of our hearts. It really was the wedding of our dreams. We are already looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary at the Allegria next year!

Recently got married at the Allegria and it was genuinely the event of a lifetime (as promised by the catering sales manager, Tinamarie). We worked with Tinamarie for well over a year coordinating our exact wants and desires to which she executed to perfection! I can honestly say, that she listened to all of our asks and the type of event we wanted to put on for our guest and make it happen to the fullest. She was appropriate with her push back as she knows the industry and event space better than us, but still took all of our feelings into consideration.
We did all the events (ceremony, cocktail hour & reception) on the rooftop as we were on the smaller end (about 130) and the room looked absolutely exquisite!! The event went off without a hitch, the weather was perfect as was the outdoor ceremony on the rooftop. Although I barely even saw the food (my own fault), all the guest raved that the food was delicious and very plentiful, which any bride is happy to hear! I don't think that the venue promised me anything that they didn't deliver -- in fact they surprised me with a chocolate waterfall and fruit fondue that I loved!!
I know some reviews do not give the Allegria the best reputation (as I saw when I was evaluating a wedding venue) however if you are trying to not do the same old carpeted ballroom and would rather a gorgeous beach and ocean back drop, it is definitely the place for you!

Amazing place Tina Marie is so helpful. It was a very easy decision picking the Allegria hotel for our wedding. We cannot wait the food tasting was amazing and the the staff is awesome. Highly recommend checking it out.

We had our wedding at he Allegria hotel on June 26,2016. I have only amazing things to say about the Allegria. Tina- Marie was our coordinator and she made sure every detail was perfect from the beginning to the end. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. It was a beautiful day and from the decor to the food we were happy and all my guest raved about he food and service. We could not be happier !!

If you want to be lied to and deceived for a very large amount of money, then you got your place! To save you from having to read my entire review, here's a brief summary, they forgot my wedding cake!!!! And, I had ONE request, that was my dream for my wedding, and they completely LIED and LIED and LIED about fulfilling my request - continued below:
My husband and I are both Merchant Marines and I had always dreamed of a Florida Keys wedding. Unfortunately, some of my close family had become ill and unable to travel down to the Keys, so we decided it was more important to have our family there than to have our wedding in the Keys. So, we thought, why not bring a little bit of the Keys to our wedding and we would get the best of both worlds. I worked my butt off to plan a wedding from out at sea (because of mine and my husbands professions as Merchant Marine) and stayed up countless hours when sleep is already minimal on a ship to make our dream wedding a reality. As it is, we were stressed enough about being able to get off the ship in time for our nuptials. Anyways, I found beautiful beachy decor and picked out a wedding cake to match. I special ordered a custom wedding cake topper that was hand made from China and cost us a lot of time, stress, and money. The #1 thing on my list was to have Daiquiri machines to really create the Key West feel that I desired. When looking around, I asked every single venue whether they would accommodate this wish and if they said "No" then I was not having my wedding there. Surprisingly, not one place said no and all said they would get them in for me and I stressed that is was the number one thing on my list and really didn't care too much about any of the other particulars from the venues. Allegria Hotel promised they would get them and even wrote it onto my contract page. I went for the food tasting and stressed the importance of my daiquiri machines and specified "No Blenders!" and that it was the only thing I wanted. I called again 3 days before the wedding to make sure the daiquiri machines were all set to be in place and was prepared to call a company to get them there if they weren't. They assured me over and over through E-mail, phone calls, and in person that my Daiquiri machines would be there and they would supply them. I called my Mom from the ship I was on to even have her check multiple times (so I do have written proof of this promise). Peter told me they would be there and must have told everybody else to lie to me as well. I custom designed special Daiquiri cups. Peter even asked me where I wanted the machines and I said at both cocktail hr AND reception.
Wedding day comes, we say our vows, my new husband and I get into cocktail hr, and there are NO daiquiri machines. We ask our special attendant where they are and even she lied to us and told us they were unable to get them up to cocktail hour but that they were down at the reception. Ok, fine, I can deal with that. Then, somebody came to me to ask me where my wedding cake was AT MY COCKTAIL HOUR! Told me that their baker said I never ordered and asked me to show them the confirmation from my email which I provided. At this point I burst into tears. The struggle/effort I put into planning this from a ship was worthless and I thought a place like the Allegria would have come through for me. They created lasting negative thoughts about my wedding day. I never even got an apology, I have so much more to say but no more space.

if i can give zero stars i would! I'm planning my wedding in New York from Miami. I have known about this beautiful spot for years. I have been in contact with their event coordinator who knows how to do absolutely NOTHING!! I asked for pricing and she lied about everything. She couldnt give me any dollar amount. everything she explained over the phone and through email was not at all what she was able to over me in person! she wouldnt hold a date for me without a deposit but wouldnt send me a contract until i came to see the place. I live in another state! i just wanted to sign and start moving the wedding process! what a nightmare! the price she told me over the phone and the price she told me in person were about a 15k difference!!! what a waste of a trip to New York! she was such a disappointment!!! Do Not Work with themunless you have a party planner or are able to put them in their place! NIGHTMARE!! Tina has absolutely no information about the venue at all!!! Good Luck!!

I can never say enough about the Allegria Hotel. What a stunning venue and absolutely perfect place to get married. Our guests still talk about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue! Especially the over the top cocktail hour (Definitely go for the lobster/shrimp/oyster addition if you can afford it - really gives the extra WOW factor!). We had hoped for a beautiful day, but on the morning of our wedding we were under threats of a hurricane (HA!). The hotel moved our ceremony inside on the rooftop and it still was more beautiful and perfect than I could have imagined. Everyone at that hotel is amazing. Peter Pizarro, the Director of Catering, works so hard seemingly without any days to himself to make a wedding on his watch completely perfect. Our bridal attendant on the day of, Sandra Tobar (who I hadn't even met until the day before our wedding) was OUTSTANDING. I was blown away by her attention to detail. I learned later that she even sewed one of my bridesmaids back into her dress when it suddenly ripped open right before my ceremony! This was truly a wedding to remember, and I couldn't recommend any place more. Definitely have your wedding there, you won't regret it.

The Allegia and it's staff was everything i hoped for and more from our wedding last weekend. no detail was left out and everything was gorgeous. My bridal suite (which i had not seen until day of) was amazing and i was actually speechless when i walked in. The food was over the top and all presentations were stunning. Peter, the Director of Catering is a class act and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I also loved our bridal attendant Sandra who knew how to fix anything and thought of everything. a HUGE THANK YOU to the Allegira our wedding was an amazing a beautiful party. We have non stop compliments from out guests on the rooftop ceremony and they delicious food.

Our wedding at the Allegria was beyond anything I could have hoped for. We had a rooftop ceremony at sunset overlooking the ocean. The Allegria rooftop offered a spectacular view from all directions, including the town of Long Beach, the ocean, as well as the Manhattan skyline. The food was exquisite. Our guest still comment on the incredible food, attentive service and modern chic décor of our wedding. Peter Pizarro was instrumental in orchestrating this event. He was organized, experienced, and went above and beyond to accommodate my us in the wedding planning process. The staff was attentive and delivered exceptional service to us, and most importantly, our guests and family.

During our first visit, it took me and my husband about 4 minutes to figure out that we were going to get married at the Allegria. The venue was just perfect on all accounts: it’s located right on the beach with great views of the ocean (and the Manhattan skyline if the sky is clear), the space has a great clean and contemporary look, the food is great, the hotel room block was convenient for our guests, and the event staff was fantastic.
It’s obvious that Peter is very experienced in the business and he’s a straight-shooter that does not make false promises; if he agreed to something, he made it happen. He and his staff did such a great job taking care of managing the event that all we had to do was show up ready and experience the day. I really cannot speak highly enough of the event/ catering staff- they alone are a good enough reason to go with this venue. Special thanks to Sandra, our day-of attendant, because she seemed to know what we needed throughout the night before we did.
The food was awesome at both the cocktail hour and during the reception- we know because Sandra made sure that we got to try both. The seafood during cocktail hour was fresh and I’ve been thinking about the sushi and carving stations during the reception since the wedding.
We were fortunate that the weather was clear and we had our ceremony on the rooftop, which overlooks the beach. We also got to do our photos on the boardwalk and, thanks to our wedding party being good sports, we even took some shots on the sand.
Overall we and our guests had a great experience at the Allegria. We had many guests tell us that it was one of or the best wedding that they’ve been to. I would highly recommend this place and if we could go back and do it all over, we wouldn’t change a thing.

We had our wedding here on the Friday of Labor day weekend September 4th. Our day was everything we could have imagined and then some. The staff treated us and our family amazing, the fiod, decor service views, our guests were truly floored by our wedding. Peter Pizarro and his staff work above and beyond to ensure your every need, including leading up to that day is met. If you are considering having your wedding here, I encourage you to go for it!

I had my wedding at Allegria last night and in between packing for my honeymoon and sorting everything out- I couldn't wait to leave this review.
Peter and Cheryl have been absolutely incredible to work with. All of our concerns throughout the year of planning were addressed immediately, especially as we got closer to our date.
Here is the breakdown:
The food:
We come from a Russian family where food is very important, our parents were worried that there won't be enough food during the cocktail hour and reception. Though we didn't see the cocktail hour, we saw pictures and spoke to our guests and parents and everyone said there was so much food that they could hardly eat the food at the reception. And, that the food was amazing. The food at the reception was phenomenal- and if you're a bride whose already booked this venue and checks up on the reviews- don't be fooled by the tasting. The food that is served at the reception is 100000x better than what you will taste during your tasting. We had a lot of picky guests who said the food was incredible. We chose Filet mignon, sesame tuna and stuffed chicken as our entrees and all were amazing.
2. The hotel:
The hospitality at the hotel was amazing. We were so well taken care of and the rooms were beautiful. We were lucky enough to stay in an ocean front room the first night and the bridal ocean front suite the last night which was to die for. We were there a bit off season so the beach was empty and the views were breathtaking.
3. The staff:
I saved the best for last. I can't even describe the level of service last night. Our bridal assistant (Sandra) is a gift from above. Incredible is an understatement. She literally did everything from feed me, to taking my garter on and off, bustling my dress, and even made me spit my gum in her hand when I realized I had been chewing it during my first dance (lol). She made sure the decorations were placed exactly how I asked, she helped sew my maid of honors dress when her zipper had issues...and that's just some of it. The other staff, including Peter and a few other genetleman were also absolutely amazing. As soon as I stepped out of the ballroom to go anywhere I was followed to make sure the doors were open. I mentioned that my feet hurt to someone and in 30 seconds they bought me slippers from upstairs. I literally felt like royalty last night.
Overall, I can't even expressed how overwhelmed I am at how amazing my wedding came out. We had our ceremony on the outside rooftop and though it was chilly, it was so worth it. The pictures of the sunset came out so amazing. We also did breakfast the next morning for our guests at Altantica restaurant, and that was so delicious.
If Allegria is an option you are considering, put it at the top of your list. I will definitely be returning for more events.

From the moment my bridal party and I arrived on the day of the wedding, we were showered with attention and our every request was pleasantly met with speed and efficiency. Peter Pizarro and his team seamlessly orchestrated the events of the day, from coordinating the timing of the bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen to depart from our respective preparation suites and meet up on the Roof Deck for our First Look photos, greeting guests with champagne and water then escorting them to the beachfront ceremony, preparing and cueing the bridal party during the ceremony, transitioning all of our guests from the ceremony up to the Roof Deck Lounge for cocktail hour, and then once again down to the Grand Ballroom afterward for the Reception--all while graciously accommodating the needs of my 8-months pregnant sister-in-law, the 15+ small children in attendance, and my 91 yr. old grandmother--all without incident or issue! As the bride, I can't gush enough about the unrelenting attention offered to me by not only one but TWO bridal attendants assigned to me to ensure my comfort, provide assistance at every turn, and to flawlessly guide me through the evening, offering direction and setting expectations every step of the way. The professionalism and accommodating nature of the entire Allegria staff impressed not only me and my husband, but also our guests who felt completely pampered, which is ultimately what you aspire to provide to all of the friends and family who have come to support the celebration of your marriage. Additionally, the food available at the cocktail hour was so abundant that my guests were convinced that the cocktail hour was the actual reception meal! It boasted an incredible assortment of culinary options including sushi, pasta, steakhouse, crudités, Mediterranean, and more--all in addition to the 8 passed hors d'oeuvres--and all of which were well-prepared/presented and absolutely delicious. The expansive views of the ocean as well as the NYC skyline from the Roof Deck Lounge provided a stunning backdrop for the cocktail hour. The facilities overall were clean, comfortable, welcoming and beautifully adorned throughout. The entire event was a smashing success and I highly recommend the Allegria Hotel as the ideal venue for the perfect wedding.

Our daughter's wedding was this past weekend and besides the weather being perfect, everything from start to finish was exceptional. First and foremost, Peter our wedding planner I cannot say enough about his commitment and involvement to every last minute detail. He is the BEST. Our ceremony on the rooftop to the cocktail hour was just breathtaking. As our telephone does not stop ringing, our guests are still talking about the restaurant quality of the food ( not ordinary catering food) to the service of every staff member. The day was magical bc of the dedication, sweat and commitment of Peter and his staff . The venue is absolutely STUNNING from the rooftop to the ballroom.
I also want to thank Nassar, the hotel manager for making all our guests that stayed at the hotel, very comfortable.
Do not think twice about booking your wedding there!!

Just wanted to thank Peter for an amazing wedding. We had our cocktail and reception on the rooftop. The views were amazing! There were some ups And downs with the whole bankruptcy thing going on but Peter calmed me down and made the night wonderful. My husband and I had the best day of our lives! All of our family and friends had such a great time and will not stop telling me how great it was. Everything went as planned along with all my decor I had brought over. Everything I told them to do was spot on... Except for a couple small mishaps. Sandra my bridal attendant was amazing! She helped me in so many ways it was unbelievable. She helped me in and out of my dress several times, always made sure I had a drink, made sure I ate, and so much more. Overall my experience has been spectacular. I plan on visiting Peter and of course the roof top!

What an experience! I couldn't have imagined anything more spectacular!
Our magic started the night before. We were accommodated with three rooms (one for us and one for each of our parents). The rooms were wonderful, ocean view and large; which made everyone happy.
On the day of our wedding, our coordinator Tina-Maria was on a mission to make sure everything was perfect! She's an amazing woman, and if you are lucky enough to work with her, she will definitely make all your dreams come true. As time reached closer and closer I had a magnificent bridal room with any accommodations I could imagine. And as the guests began to arrive, everything was in place and ready to go!
My husband and I were so thrilled on how everything came together. It was really magical and I owe it all to the staff at the Allegria hotel for making all my wishes and dreams come true!

Everything I hoped for and more! Words cannot express how absolutely perfect the Allegria made our wedding day. The rooftop is simply breathtaking, with components that draw to all types. There is a large bar which allowed guests easy access to cocktails, a loungy seating area where others got comfortable, tables for dining and to endulge in the delicious food, outside space with a cool, refreshing ocean breeze and comfortable ambience and of course, a the dance floor to really start the party.
The staff was so attentive and in tune with the timeline of the night. Cheryl did an incredible job planning it out and making sure all details of the night were included. She is so pleasant and easy to work with. Pete and the staff then ensured it was all put into play exactly as desired. The bridal attendant, Adriana, was exceptional. She was never more than a step behind and attended to every possible element of the night.
And...the food was abundant and delicious. The seafood and sushi were so fresh and the carvings were perfectly cooked.
So many guests have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and I'm not surprised, because it was simply amazing.
Thank you Allegria! You helped to make lasting memories.

My husband and I wanted a destination wedding, but it would have never worked. Honestly, we didn't think we could afford the Allegria, but we decided to check it out just for kicks, especially since it was as close as we were going to get our parents to the Caribbean :)
We immediately fell in love with the venue, event staff and location. It was everything we'd ever dreamed of! After our tour of the property, the wedding coordinator left us alone to see which dates they had available. Once she was out of the room, I looked at my fiance, welled up and tried to ask him "can we get married here??" Once he understood what I was trying to say through my tears, his response was "yes, it's perfect. It doesn't matter what it costs; we have to make it work." It was the only venue we looked at, and we've never second guessed that decision. I even called my mom from the hotel bar after the meeting to tell her we were putting down a deposit. She was worried, of course, that we hadn't looked anywhere else, but (again through my tears of joy) I assured her there couldn't be anyplace more perfect for us to get married.
Flash forward to the day of the wedding and everything was amazing. After spending almost a year planning every detail to a fault, once the curtain opened for me to enter the ceremony, I literally didn't worry about a single thing. Our bridal attendant (Sandra) was amazing - she took care of every thing all night long, including sending my husband after me to make me eat something and helping me adjust my dress before we entered the reception. Peter, our wedding coordinator, and the rest of the event staff couldn't have been more helpful throughout the entire planning process - we even met Peter for brunch after the honeymoon!
All in all, I can't say enough wonderful things about the Allegria and the dream wedding we had there!!

Brides beware: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I'd be happy to provide anyone with a list (it's pages long) of ways that my husband and I were disappointed. We were married here at the end of the summer in 2013, and I'm finally able to calmly write these reviews without making myself crazy! Every time I think back to our "special day" I find myself with high anxiety. Thankful for our crowd of great friends and family, Lang with a photographer who was able to at least make it appear as if things were the way we were promised. This place is really the pits, no matter how much anyone tries to "sweet talk" you or say things have changed, do not trust anyone here!

Hotel was super modern, nice and clean. And the view from our oceanfront was amazing. But that's what you're paying for... The view... Otherwise there isn't anything else amazing that I saw. Looking back I prbly wouldn't have booked it for one night.

My niece, Kristiane Valenza, and Sean Dunfee were married Nov, 28th at the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach, NY.
I want to express what a wonderful experience it was. With my niece living in Mississippi and her dad not knowing anything bridal, my sister felt most of the burden of the planning. As any mother of the bride, she wanted the best wedding she could afford for her daughter and was very nervous and anxious. I was her helpmate. Our experience with the Allegria made the experience easy and stress-free.
The first time we with the wedding planner, Mr. Peter Pizarro, we were impressed with his professionalism and clarity in explaining what the Allegria had to offer. Of course, the rooftop venue was spectacular, but what swayed my sister the most was the confidence she felt in Mr. Pizarro.
That confidence was well deserved. Every time she felt anxious or had questions, he put her at ease and reassured her. He was able to maintain a professional demeanor at the same time was able to convey a warmth and friendliness. He was there every step of the way.
Above I expressed how I felt about how the planning process was made easy. Now, as a guest at the wedding--WOW! The whole day ran flawlessly. From the moment I walked off the elevator to the very end of the evening., Everything was first-class—the ceremony being performed during the sunset over the ocean, the exceptional food, the service, and the seamless flow from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception (held in a room overlooking both the nighttime lights of the city of Long Beach and the New York City skyline in the background.)
The Allegria and Mr. Pizarro were so much a part of making this day so special for my very special niece. She never stopped smiling.

I went for a wedding of a friend, and it was a beautiful service in the rooftop of the Allegria. All the clear windows made it the perfect setting as it was sunset and an ocean view. The service for distributing the food was on point as well, the bartenders were all very helpful and friendly and didn't make you wait too long as with most. A beautifully executed wedding.
I also had eloped earlier that day, and I surprised my husband with a room thanks to the package of my friend's wedding, and when I told them that I was getting married also they upgraded me to an ocean view room free of charge, and they even provided us chocolate colored strawberries. I requested that they have rose petals in the room, both red and pink and they lined the entrance with it and even put 2 sets of rose petal hearts, one on the bed and one on the couch. The room's decor was very pretty, and extremely tasteful.
I would recommend the Allegria to anyone! Oh and I love that big circular seat in the lobby, it's very comfortable.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Allegria Hotel in 2013. There were many ups and downs when planning our wedding because there was a change in management and chef from the time we booked with them. Once the change occurred, Peter (our new wedding coordinator contact) arranged for my husband and I to come meet with him and have a tasting with the new chef. Everyone was very personable and easy to work with. The food was excellent and the venue is absolutely gorgeous. We received so many compliments on the food, service, and beauty of the venue. We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before and that was equally fabulous. We would highly recommend Peter and his team to handle the details of your wedding from start to finish. We cannot say enough good things about Peter as he is very genuine and cares about your day as much as you do. He is very easy to talk to and will go above and beyond to make everything perfect. He has become a friend over this past year and we look forward to seeing him when we revisit the Allegria for dinner, etc.
The only piece of this venue that we cannot recommend is the hotel rooms for your guests. Our honeymoon suite was double booked, the rooms were not in working order - bathrooms with toilets that wouldn't flush, air conditioners that were not working, TVs that did not work, and maintenance that did not respond to problems with the rooms. Also the billing department / front desk of the hotel charged the rehearsal dinner to our room instead of the in laws, parking fees that were supposed to be complementary were charged to some of our guests, and our complementary bridal suite was charged to our credit card which took days to straighten out with hotel management. Also, our welcome bags for guests were only handed out to about half of our guests.

If your into glam this is the place for you. It's elegant without being "old and stuffy". It's one venue that provides various settings. You have the beach, the rooftop, indoor rooftop lounge, grand ballroom, and the list goes on. Although, many wedding have been done here you can still make yours very personal and unique. The food and drinks were also great! Nothing but positive feedback from my guests. I would love to go back as a guest at someone else's wedding or just a guest of the hotel.

We got married on June 8th 2013 and to start we booked our wedding prior to Peter Pizarro's arrival. We were nervous due to a few extra ordinary events such as Hurricane Sandy. The prior staff did not fill us in and things were a bit confusing. Peter came to the rescue, he gave us the confidence we needed and the guidance for first timers. The venue on the roof top couldn't have been more perfect. The ocean, the sunset, the layout was breathtaking we felt like we were in Laguna Beach California! The food and the service were impeccable. Peter was there in the background at our beck a nd call! Hopefully I will not get married again but if I did it would be at The Allegria!!

I'm an event planner in the city and the last thing I wanted to do was pan another elaborate party (even if it was for myself). The Allegria Hotel was the first venue we visited, and we signed a contract the next day. They made it incredibly easy...the views were enough to sell us on the space but our experience with management, the Chef and staff affirmed our decision. It's not easy pleasing my Persian family but they absolutely did. The Chef offered and created a special station serving my families favorite Persian dishes and could be seen keeping up on the food and staff the entire event. The management team and staff were attentive, accommodating and fun. They kept the tequila shots coming and met us at every turn with a smile that made us feel at home. Weddings are the ultimate style statement a couple can make and we are thankful we chose the Allegria Hotel. The venue is top notch, the ambiance can't be replicated anywhere else on Long Island and the event rooms and views are spectacular. They delivered on every promise and as an event planner - I know that that's the most important thing.

Our Guests are STILL talking about the wedding weeks later! Peter and his team delivered to the fullest. From the moment we arrived 2 days prior to the event until we left after Sunday brunch there was not a moment we didn't feel important. Guests have said the food was better than any great restaurant, the decor was flawless and staff was ON POINT.
Contacting Peter with any issues, questions or concerns was a breeze. He responded and resolved everything very quickly.
The day of the wedding we had absolutely no worries and were stress free because the team takes care of everything! From making sure we had water, champagne and food in our suite, to carrying the umbrella over my head in the rain, to even cleaning the sand off my feet after our pictures!
This is truly a 5 star venue that deserves to be recognized. If you are looking for an intimate venue and you don't want a "wedding factory banquet hall" this is the place. They only do one wedding at a time, and their sole responsibility is to ensure that your day is flawless.
