Words cannot describe how AMAZING our wedding at Allenberry was! We were married on 10/26/2010 & it truly was an enchanting day. Kelsey is quite fabulous & a dream to work with. She made the process so simple & walked us through every step. The day of the wedding Kelsey & her team made sure every single guest was happy. Our guests cannot stop raving about the cocktails, the food, the decor and especially the beautiful setting! Not to mention the accommodations! The beautiful mansion was included in the bridal package! And the guests that stayed loved their suites! I absolutely loved loved loved working with Kelsey & her team. I highly recommend Allenberry!!

We were married on 10.20.2019 at Allenberry and the experience as a whole was amazing! From the first time touring Allenberry to the day of the wedding Kelsey and her team were accommodating. From the odd menu request, a taco bar, to having to change the location of the ceremony from the creek side to the tent on the property, due to rain, it seemed like there was nothing Kelsey wouldn’t do to make the day perfect. Also the majority of the wedding guests were from out of state so having plenty of rooms on the property made the weekend as a whole even more exciting. There aren’t enough good things that can be said about Kelsey and Allenberry when it came to the planning and execution of the wedding.

We haven’t had our wedding yet, but our tour here was AMAZING. Their attention to detail is unmatched and since the remodel, allenberry is a wedding venue that is to die for! My fiancé loved it too. We are so excited to have our wedding at this venue. Kelsey and her team have been wonderful!

There are not enough words to say how appreciative we are of all the love and support from the Allenberry team. Our wedding was held in early October 2019. What you see in photos is what you see in person. It is an idyllic, serene location with a wonderful staff (including the MVP wedding coordinator) and picture-perfect details. Whether it's the lodging you/your guests need, delicious food to fill everyone up, or location options to fit your guest party, you can find it here.  We held an intimate wedding but Allenberry is perfect for big or small. It's located right outside the center of Boiling Springs, tucked away in a quaint, secluded area with a creek that flows by the grounds. The plated dinner was delicious and fulfilling (guests loved it!) and the staff are a blessing. Kelsey is the girl in your corner, always on top of things, cool and collected, and a friend when you need one. In our (likely poor) attempt to describe what we envisioned, all of the pieces came together in such a beautiful way...beyond what we imagined.  My husband and I reside in D.C. but we are native of the area and without a doubt recommend Allenberry Resort.

I cannot say enough about Allenberry and their coordinator, Kelsey! From our first meeting, many golf cart trips (with very eager parents) around the grounds, to planning the final details and executing them to the T (plus their thrown in details, I mean who does that?!) We were blown away by everyone at Allenberry, as were our guests. Kelsey was honestly like having a bridesmaid that was secretly working for your venue. We were complimented by friends and family about the food, the gorgeous venue, and could not have had a better experience. If I have any advice to a future bride - Kelsey is your go to girl and Allenberry is your place! I wish you as magical a weekend as mine.

Allenberry was fantastic. Kelsey and her team allowed us to have our dream wedding. What sets Allenberry apart is the attention to detail, none of our needs or requests went unmet, in fact Allenberry usually had our questions or needs answered before we even had to ask. With Kelsey's help we were able to get everything planned in 8 months while living in Florida. Kelsey was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our questions. The day of the wedding was great. The ceremony by the creek ran smoothly and was beautiful, cocktail hour at the mansion was charming and the hors d'oeuvres were incredible. Finally, the reception blew us away. We provided some decorations, and Allenberry added some items to really take things to the next level, Kelsey understood the style we were going for and tied it all together. The carriage house was a really neat venue. The dinner was really great. We had a plated duet meal of caprese chicken and grilled steak, all of our guests were really wowed by the food. We rented the still house for our wedding night, and are so happy we did, it was just the dream place to stay after our dream wedding.

We were married at Allenberry Resort on 9/7/19 and cannot thank Kelsey Ivan and the team at Allenberry enough for creating the wedding of our dreams! Allenberry Resort's beautiful grounds were the perfect backdrop for our day. We loved that our family and friends could stay on the property, which made our "wedding day" feel like a "wedding weekend"! From day one, Kelsey was instrumental to the coordination of our wedding. She was extremely warm, responsive, and organized throughout the process. She understood our vision and went above and beyond to create a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception that were far beyond our expectations! The food and service provided by JDK was exceptional, and we are still getting compliments from our guests! Our chef Chaka was amazing! Everyone made sure that we had an incredible experience -- making sure that we were well fed and attended to the whole day (and weekend!). We are so very thankful to have chosen Allenberry Resort for our wedding! Thank you Kelsey, the rest of the staff at Allenberry, and JDK for everything you did to create our PERFECT day!!!

We can’t express how much we were so impressed with Allenberry & thank them for making our daughter‘s day so beautiful. Kelsey was so wonderful helping us with anything we needed, always keeping us up to date on everything, she really made you feel like a friend. We had so many compliments from our guests on the grounds, food and even the staff @ how helpful & nice they were. Our other daughter was married last year @ a venue in York which was nice but I would highly recommend Allenberry, they just went above & beyond, Kelsey even emailed us after the wedding just to check in on us!!! Would so highly recommend this venue

We can't find words to describe the appreciation and praise we feel for Allenberry and its staff. From day 1, Kelsey Ivan (wedding planner) put us at ease, managed our requirements, and orchestrated the entire event - she was instrumental and warm in the entire planning and execution. We had a fusion wedding (Indian/Western) requiring a unique setup from the altar structure, to the food, to the way events were designed. Kelsey and her staff took complete ownership and delivered way beyond our expectations. We had about 120 guests, 60% of whom traveled from all parts of the country and the world. They all felt right at home with the resort's rooms, amenities, and their staff. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Chaka (chef) was like an elder brother who created delicious Indian and Western appetizers and entrees. The serving staff, staff at the Barn restaurant, and all others were like extended family, and made sure each guest had an immaculate experience. All our guests raved about the Allenberry and its service. We are so happy we hosted our wedding here. We created a life's worth of memories. The resort is beyond beautiful with its creek and lush greens, and the wedding photographs are to die for. Absolutely recommend!

When we decided to have a very small, intimate ceremony and reception at Allenberry, we knew it would be beautiful just based on the scenery around the resort. We had no idea how gorgeous it would actually be, though! Kelsey, Allenberry's wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing! We planned the wedding in a short period of time, and she was incredibly patient and helpful through the entire process. She showed us all our options and never once made us feel like we were "just" having a small wedding. She and the teams from Allenberry and JDK ensured that each and every detail from the day truly reflected our personalities and style. We had a wonderful wedding day, and we look forward to celebrating more events at Allenberry in the future!

I can't say enough good things about Kelsey Ivan and the team at Allenberry Resort. They are completely on top of their game and make sure to leave you with a wedding day you wont forget. From the moment I met Kelsey she felt like a close friend and someone I could trust entirely with the vision I was looking to unfold. She had our best interest in mind through the whole wedding planning process and put all my worries at ease. There are many places you can hold a wedding but to find a place with the support and welcoming feel Allenberry gives you is priceless. I am so overjoyed that we ended up choosing Allenberry for our special day. Kelsey, you are very talented at what you do and I can easily say the day would not have been the same without out! The Allenberry was nothing but amazing! My husband and I were catered to and taken care of all night. Both families were joined with laughs , and great service. Kelsey was behind it all, making sure everyone was having a great time. We could not have had the wedding of our dreams without her. Thank you so much again for the time and effort The Allenberry and staff provided for us!

Paul and I got married at Allenberry on September 14, 2018. We checked out A LOT of venues and locations but ultimately picked Allenberry because there is no where else quite like it. Allenberry is so much more personal than a standard issue hotel or banquet hall. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and there are a number of great spots for your ceremony (and pictures!). Ultimately we landed on having our ceremony down by the creek, with our cocktail hour at the Mansion and reception at the Stone Lodge (got tons of compliments on that setup btw!). We live in Atlanta and Kelsey was amazing at helping us coordinate all of the details and arrangements with our vendors. Being out of town, we were a bit worried about it all coming together but she made It painless. Kelsey and team did an incredible job throughout our day. Our food was TOP NOTCH from cocktail hour all the way through dessert. Our bartenders and wait staff were super attentive and never let our drinks get empty. Looking back, I am so glad we picked Allenberry and can’t imagine getting married anywhere else.

My husband and I got married at Allenberry on 8.18.18 and it was literally the best day ever! Kelsey Ivan, who is the venue coordinator for Allenberry was amazinggggg! She was so attentive and made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed before the wedding and the day of. On our wedding day it was raining a bit and had rained for a few days beforehand therefore the ground was wet and we didn’t have our ceremony in front of the water like we had originally planned, however, we held the ceremony under their outside tent and it was absolutely beautiful and honestly probably more comfortable for our guests. I as well as husband have both said that we felt like Allenberry Resort was the best venue for ourselves and our guests. The entire staff are out of this world amazing. JDK does the catering and I have never heard so many people say it was the best wedding food they have ever had. I honestly cannot day enough good things about Allenberry Resort for your wedding venue...except to to go take a tour and trust that your day will be stress free and amazing!

Even though we didn't book with Allenberry, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism of Kelsey and the staff at the resort. Kelsey was very detailed and was extremely helpful, as this was the first venue we visited. Definitely worth checking it out, as this venue has so much character and potential for a beautiful big day!

Allenberry’s wedding coordinator Kelsey Ivan was an absolute pleasure to work with. From day one she treats you as if you were a friend she has known for years, and makes you feel comfortable in the entire planning process. Kelsey was patient with our questions, and extremely responsive. She has a clear passion for her work and wants nothing more than to see her clients have the absolute best wedding experience possible. The same can be said for the rest of the staff at Allenberry. Each and every staff member went out of their way to make sure our guests felt comfortable and welcome all weekend. Ralph, the additional day of coordinator was a blast to work with as well. He kept us laughing all night and was always there asking if we needed anything. The Allenberry Resort is a special venue, complimented by a professional, friendly, and thoughtful staff. We are eager to recommend it to anyone planning a special event. We can’t wait to plan more celebrations here in the future!

We were married at Allenberry on 9.1.18 and can honestly say that we were so impressed with Kelsey and the team at Allenberry and JDK. I can echo the reviews that say the change in management created some road blocks when planning our wedding but as soon as Kelsey was hired it was exactly what we were looking for in assistance in planning our day. There is no better backdrop then the atmosphere that Allenberry provides. 90% of our guest list was out of state and they all were able to stay on the property which made the weekend a BLAST. The string lights, creek, fireplaces, historic buildings, pool, restaurant, bar, and spa on site are hard to beat. Kelsey kept in constant communication with us and our vendors which created a wedding that was beyond our expectations. The food choices are so unique and fun--our guests are still talking about them. But above all the service that not only my husband but our bridal party, parents, and families received the day of our wedding was top notch and beyond my expectations. As soon as we walked back down the aisle there were drinks waiting for my husband and I and our appetizers for our bridal party to enjoy. During dinner our parents and bridal party did not have to get up once to get drinks and these are the small details that people remember.

I had my wedding at Allenberry on 9.22.18 and I'm still getting compliments on my venue, food, and the overall experience! My husband and I are so happy we chose to book with Allenberry. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but we were able to have our whole wedding experience on the property. We had family and friends coming from all over the country to Boiling Springs so we wanted to make sure we had enough time to spend with everyone. Allenberry had everything we needed to make this a reality. Our guests stayed on the property all weekend, we had our rehearsal dinner at the Mansion, cabins for the wedding party, ceremony at the creek, reception in the Carriage House, an after party at the Mansion, and a farewell breakfast as well. My favorite part as a bride was having the opportunity to work with Kelsey. She was experienced, kind, responsive, and also kept me on track. I am very busy with work and she always gave me a gentle nudge to meet my own deadlines with the wedding planning process - and she did this all with grace. The morning of my wedding I was concerned about the reception room because I hadn't done anything to set up. To my surprise, Kelsey was there and had already done everything for me when I showed up! She took my vision and made it a reality just off of my decorations and a few Pinterst pictures! I seriously cannot be more thankful for her and her calming demeanor on the day of. There was no one else I would have wanted with me going through the stress of planning a wedding. TL,DR: Allenberry had amazing food, great service, a beautiful venue, and an amazing coordinator you will be happy to have helping you on your special day!! If you book with Allenberry and work with Kelsey, you will not be disappointed.

This five star rating is for Kelsey, the wedding coordinator at Allenberry. My husband and I were so grateful to work with her after having been through a challenging journey with previous Allenberry staff. She truely was our saving grace. It was refreshing to work with someone who was responsive, professional, detailed, kind and organized. Prior to Kelsey, we experienced many growing pains and much turnover with Allenberry over the months leading up to our wedding. However, once Kelsey arrived and became our coordinator, she was really able to help turn our experience around. I only wish we would have had her from day one. If you work with Kelsey, rest assured that you are in good hands!

We got married on June 23, 2018 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Allenberry. The coordination, the atmosphere, the food, and the service was beyond perfection!

Our wedding was June 2, 2018. It was amazing. I cannot say enough about how well our day went for us. I was able to enjoy my day stress-free. Kelsey took care of everything. Everyone from our florist, to photographer, to our guests all were amazed at how nice things were. While we took photos and our cocktail hour went on, we had two attendants with us with drinks and the same goodies our guests were enjoying. There were golf carts available on demand for our guests who had trouble getting up or down the hill to the ceremony. These were also available to my husband and I to sneak in some last minute photos on the other side of the venue. Some of our best photos were taken because of this. I can’t thank Allenberry enough for making a day I’ve waited a long time for the absolute best! <3

My wedding was 5/5/18 and I cannot express how AMAZING the wedding team ran the day! My husband and I started planning with Allenberry during some switches and the way Kelsey took over just a few months before the wedding really put us at ease!! Every single detail was planned and executed. She also was readily available when I had questions and got back to me quickly. We rented some cottages for the bridal party and got ready in the cottages as well which provided us with space for all the stylists and breakfast/lunch. Kelsey and the team checked in on us throughout the day and I literally did not have to worry about a single thing! Now, let me tell you...not only was everything executed as planned but it was BETTER!!!! The arbor we had was simply amazing but the team also provided additional lanterns and such to complete the look. After the ceremony, we had talked about toasting with some wine and that did happen but what I didn't realize is that the staff would make sure I had appetizers, drinks, desserts, and a good time all night! I felt incredibly special all day and night! They also made additional signage for us to complete the look too!! I'm not kidding when I say all the guests have been commenting on the amazing wedding and the food! Allenberry has seriously become the place to get married in the area. I could go on and on but I think anyone reading this far will get the picture :)

I booked my wedding with Allenberry while their renovations were ongoing--to some people, it seemed like a gamble, but I'm so glad I did! Although Allenberry Resort has changed many things in terms of their staffing/structure over the course of our wedding planning, they only made changes for the better! Their striving to improve did not go unnoticed by me. Their new Wedding Events planner, Kelsey Ivan, was excellent. We had clear communication, she was always timely and responsive, and she made all the changes in our contract we requested in timely fashions. She kept us on track with when payments needed to be made, things needed to be signed, and gave us every detail we needed. She provided us an event timeline, and I'm thankful for that! She really listened to us and what sort of event we envisioned. On the day of, I was impressed by her service even more! She made sure that we had golf cart drivers to transport the bridal party around the property (thanks Kelsey, Patty and others!), she brought us umbrellas when it started to rain and we needed to walk inside from the golf carts, and she brought drinks/food down during the cocktail hour when my husband and I and our bridal party just weren't ready to head up yet! During the reception, Kelsey kept everything running on time, and personally brought us food, drinks, and asked if there was anything else we needed continuously. We had the best party there- our guests complimented the food, the venue, and the property itself. The venue even provided some extra lantern decorations for us, which I really liked! During the planning, we asked if we could have an after party at the Fire pits so our guests could continue to hang out and enjoy the evening. Allenberry had great staff there to help with that. It had rained earlier and the fire wouldn't light-- that was ok! A very kind man from the resort was there and retrieved dry firewood and got everything going again! Our friends and family especially enjoyed the extra time to be together. I had guests asking me if we were secretly filming a Hallmark Film because the grounds were so beautiful. Our guests loved the property and the unique housing options, like the various cottages. Our bridal party all stayed in the Creek House and they just had a ball! This house also became the center of where the families spent time together as well. This was more or less a destination wedding for our guests, and it was the perfect choice. Allenberry is truly a remarkable place where groups can gather together and enjoy themselves and each others' company in a historic, natural setting with perfectly coordinated modern details and personalized service. My grandparents had even arrived early and the staff at the front desk had gotten to know them a bit as well! The resort and their staff truly impressed us & our guests!

I don't even know where to begin wth our praise for Allenberry for our wedding a few weeks ago. We had ongoing activities for our family throughout the weekend starting Thursday evening with dinner in the restaurant, and finishing with a Sunday brunch catered in the mansion and all the other activities in between! Our family enjoyed their accommodations (we had family in all three lodges), we utilized a cottage for the groomsmen and the mansion for the bride and overnight stay. Family members also enjoyed the spa, lunch and roaming the grounds. Kelsey, our wedding contact with Allenberry, kept everything on point and beyond our expectations. From the food, to the service and the coordination of all the vendors and even her "flair" for perfect decor, the event was spectacular. I can't think of one thing that could have been done better, or more timely, or that didn't quite meet our expectations. We would like to thank the Allenberry staff for being professional but also kind and warm. And a special thank you to Kelsey for making the weekend memorable!!

Our guests are telling us it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! We live in the Philadelphia area and were looking for a close destination wedding venue and we were fortunate to discover the Allenberry Resort and Playhouse. We were able to have all of our wedding events at the Allenberry, including a Rehearsal Dinner, a Friday night Welcome Reception, outdoor wadding, Cocktail Hour, Reception, and Sunday Brunch at the resort. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The wedding coordinator, Tina, was a joy to work with, as she is quite competent, industrious, patient and kind. We were able to have outdoor events such as a run with the bride, a birding walk, a tennis event, and fly-fishing. We started out with a beautiful creek side wedding, moving to the Carriage House for the cocktail hour with a glowing fire in the stone fire place, to the Beltzhoover. Terrace ballroom for the Reception. The bride and groom stayed in The Mansion with some of the bridal party with access to the entire mansion. The bridal party was able to conveniently get ready there. The newly married couple was able to have the wedding of their dreams at a reasonable price! We want to go back to attend a murder mystery weekend or another gorgeous wedding!

The wedding coordinator did a fantastic job at answering all of our questions and helping us along the way. The day before the wedding, and the day of the wedding, couldn't have gone better. The service was fantastic and the food was great. The scenery for pictures was also great!!! Definitely recommended.

Tina, the wedding coordinator and her staff are amazing. Tina was there for us from the first time we met with her. She quickly responded to any questions we had throughout the whole process. Allenberry is very accomodating in any areas of the wedding planning we had questions about. We were even allowed to modify the reception menu and have speacial entrees for ourselves. We were treated like Royalty on our wedding day. The venue is incredible and a beautiful wedding location. The grounds are well maintained and were stunning for our May wedding. The prices for the venue which include outdoor ceremony, reception location, food and liquor was unbeatable in this area. Allenberry was absolutely the perfect choice for our wedding!!!

Tina and staff made our daughter & son-in-laws reception one to talk about. Not only were they a delight to work with, the meal was delicious. The Carriage room with wood-burning fireplace & candlelight tables made for great ambiance.

My husband and I were married this past August at the Allenberry Resort Inn and Playhouse. We had both the ceremony and the reception at the Allenberry. I do not have enough words to express how perfect the entire weekend was. My husband and I live in Pittsburgh, Pa but I grew up in Central PA. So naturally I wanted to get married near my home town. The Allenberry was the perfect choice because everything is right there. The wedding coordinator, Tina Williams is absolutely wonderful to work with, and helped me with everything. She is very professional and accomodating. She is a great resource for wedding etiquite, and referrals. Her personality is so sweet and gentle, I just can't imagine anyone not being able to work with her. Tina was just the icing on the Allenberry cake...she did everything so that my mom and I could just relax and enjoy ourselves on the actual wedding day. Tina was there every step of the way, she even helped us with the precession at the ceremony and helped me stay calm and collected. Since we don't live very close we needed a place that could coordinate all the details of our wedding, with as few meetings as possible. Our wedding was small (less than 140 people), so the location and reception hall was perfect for our size wedding. The whole wedding weekend was so perfect!! Our guests were able to stay right there at the resort...so we didn't have to worry about transporting guests from hotels. Everyone raved over the adorable accomodations. It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a big resort. Many of the guests made it into a long weekend and toured the surrounding area. We also were able to have the rehearsal dinner right there the Friday before the wedding, which again made it feel all the more convienent for everyone involved. The staff is wonderful. The bartenders, the wait staff, the front desk staff...They are all amazing, and more than happy to accomodate our requests. You feel like part of a family when you are there, not just a hotel guest. Oh and the FOOD!!! It was just amazing. We chose a buffet for our dinner option, and there were just so many choices for our guests to choose from. Not only do you and your guests gett a huge selection for dinner, but they get a large selection of cold and hot o'rderves. I don't think a single person left dissapointed or hungry. The food was so delicious and well prepared. You might find that you pay a little more per plate at the Allenberry then what a caterer might charge, but the cost of booking the venue is so small that it really evens out. Also, you get so much for your money. They dont charge extra for cake cutting, or white linens or corking fees for the champagne toast. You might find that a particular caterer might charge less per plate, but after you factor in all the other charges, we found that the Allenberry was just a better value...and you get SO much! You won't be disappointed. You and your guests will have a lovely weekend that you will remember for years to come. Your pictures will be amazing. I was going for a vintage theme, and the pictures I took in the Mansion house just totally fit the whole theme...They were stunning...And so will your pictures, if you choose the Allenberry!!! My husband and I can't wait to get back for our anniversary!

I had my wedding at Allenberry in September. It was perfect! I cannot speak highly enough about the venue and the service. We almost did not use Allenberry when we looked at the website an saw the menu pricing at $50 a person. We figured if the food was the expensive we would never be able to pay all the other fees. Fortunately Tina told me otherwise. One of the many beautiful things about this place is that there are NO hidden fees! That menu price includes everything except alcohol and gratuity! No extra charge to rent the space, no cake cutting or corking fees. Everything is included in that price, even the table cloths, and some decor for the tables if we chose to use it. The only extra charge would be if you want to hold your ceremony outside, and not in the room your reserve; but that fee is still not much. The service is amazing. Tina was there to help me with every step of the way and made it so that I did not have to worry about a thing on my big day. She walked me through everything before hand and spoke with all my vendors so I did not have to worry about coordinating anything. She remained calm and professional, even at my most stressful moments. There was a small hitch with the bar, and Tina fix it quickly and easily, and Allenberry covered any cost associated with the mistake. We stayed in a cottage the entire weekend, which was rented to us at a very discounted rate because we had the wedding there. The accommodations were beautiful, to match the stunning outdoor setting. The only thing that I would even slightly consider a negative is that there are a lot of trains that go through near by, and some were noisy at night. But that is certainly no fault of Allenberry. Over all, we were EXTREMELY happy with our event, and could not have asked for anything to be different. I would give them a million stars if I could. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride for the beauty, strong customer service, and ease of planning. We cannot wait to go back and celebrate our anniversary there!

Tina and her group over at Allenberry did such an amazing job during my wedding. When we first met with Tina she had mentioned that if there wasn't something on the menu or written out, but we wanted it to be, she would add it. That was just the beginning. She had great communication and would quickly respond back to emails regarding details and plans. She helped to guide me through any of the specific things that I may need for the location. Needless to say the wedding was gorgeous. We got married along the creek and it was absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of shade and no bugs. The chairs are also super comfortable that they provide. The reception was also great. The staff was very attentive and helped to move things along. I would definitely encourage anyone to have their wedding here.

My Husband proposed in front of the Yellow Breeches; so getting married in front of the breeches only made sense. We had our ceremony right in front of the breeches. The chairs in the pictures are not what they use. We had nice white chairs. I did have my florist bring in a Archway; which really looked great. Our DJ also had access to electric down by the creek; which very much needed down there. We went with the Beltzhoover Terrace for our reception since it's bigger. I really liked the idea of having our wedding and ceremony at one location. My mother and I worked with Tina and she was very organized and helpful. She's been doing weddings at Allenberry for a long time; which made me feel very comfortable. I really didn't like the chairs in the room and decided to buy chair covers. Allenberry was very gracious and let us come set them up the day before the wedding; which reduced my stress level tons. We had 16 tables in the room with a 145 guest and you could move freely around the room. Everyone has been to the that wedding where the tables are right on top of each other...not the case here thankfully. We had a $3500 bar limit, but our bar tab was less then that. We had plenty of drinkers though. The majority of Bar tab was sent on Liquor which we had open bar for cocktail hour, closed for dinner and then one more hour after dinner. We also had the bar tender let the Bridal party drink whatever all night. Everything went just as planned with our Bar request. We had went with the buffet and the food was great. I didn't get any sticky buns, but some our guest told me how divine they were. We did have a photo booth at the reception. Several of our guest spent the night. We actually rented out the whole pine lodge(10 Rooms); which was super fun because it has common living room where we were hanging out after the wedding. My Husband and I stayed at Cottage 1; it was phenomenal. I plan on stay there in the future for a anniversary. I had the front desk handout gift bags for our over night guest; very helpful. I was extremely satisfied with how everything turned out. I would recommend this location to any couple that looking for a place that hold around 145 guest. I really think it would be too tight with any more then that; unless you don't have a photo booth. Extremely happy with how the whole day turned out. Plus there a ton of place to take pictures on the resort.

We held my daughter's reception at Allenberry and we were pleased with everything. The food was delicious, and they were very willing to swap out items from the standard menus, though the standard selections were great in quality and variety so we stuck with it. Our coordinator, Tina, couldn't have been nicer, and did many little extras to accommodate our needs without "nickel & diming" us with extra charges. The bridal party had photos taken by the Yellow Breeches Creek and on the porch of the Manor House that were just stunning. The staff was efficient, helpful, friendly, and unobtrusive. The only thing we didn't like was the chairs in the room were rather old and an unattractive color that clashed with the rest of the room's décor - so we paid to have them covered. But this was a minor problem when all of the positives in our experience are considered. Plus, the meal prices were very reasonable, which freed up the money we needed for the chair covers. If your reception is for 150 or less people Allenberry would be a wonderful venue for any bride and groom.

My Bridal Party and Mother threw me a bridal shower at Allenberry, which was nice but definitely not for the price. We were supposed to be in a private room yet others were eating the breakfast brunch right outside our open doorway. No one served us coffee or drinks. It was very expensive and I would not recommend for a bridal shower.

3 of my bridesmaids got married this summer, all at different places and my wedding by far had the best food, best setting, was completely beautiful. The price was fantastic, I couldn't believe the accommodations, everything was just perfect - I couldn't have asked for anything better.

This venue was perfect for our needs. We wanted a place that we could have the ceremony, reception, pictures, and stay for the night. We didn't want to waste time driving from place to place. The setting was beautiful and my pictures turned out superb. Everyone gave me compliments on the location, the food, the beauty of every detail. All my guests had a great time.

I held both my ceremony and reception at Allenberry, and they were absolutly fantastic! Mary Anne is a great and Sue was very on top of things! Made our day wonderful!

Great food, great decor, beautiful site, great service. They were very understanding and helped us make the most of our budget. Great food, it was just outstanding. Service was awesome and very nice. Just a wonderful experience.
