Long story short: know what you’re getting into if you choose to buy a dress from here. In August, my family and I made an appointment to look at bridal dresses. Lynn was accommodating when I told her my wedding was on 11/3. The entire appointment we stressed the importance of getting a dress before the wedding. Lynn stated that there was no problem with getting a custom dress. We asked multiple times throughout the 2 appointments if the dress would come in time and were reassured every time that I would have more than enough time prior to my wedding. We were also made to believe Lynn creates custom dresses in house (in her store). My aunt, understanding the market of china, asks information on her process. We were told that she (Lynn) orders fabric from a manufacturer and sews the dress herself. She said the dress will be made to my measurements. Full payment for the dress was paid in August. We also paid for extra fabric to make a small bag/purse to match my dress. I was told we would get the dress in the beginning of October. For two months, my family and I didn’t check in, assuming things were being worked on and didn’t want to interfere with that. October 5th I reach out to Lynn, by phone, to check the status of my dress. She tells me she is with a bride and will call me back. She never called me back. October 12th, I call again and once again Lynn tells me she is with a bride and to text her. I text her that same day with a picture of the receipt. She responds that she will check and get back to me. She does not. Meanwhile in between my communication with Lynn, my aunt goes in person to her business to ask the status of the dress and gets a response that it will be in within the week or week and a half. A short time later, my aunt asks again the status and was told there was an issue with the dress sleeve and it will be in shortly. October 23rd, with 10 days until my wedding, I text Lynn asking for an update. She states the dress will be in by the 29th, 3 days before my wedding. I will attach text messages to show further info but my family and I learn the following from this experience: - the wedding dress I ordered is made in china and Lynn does not make them in store - Lynn doesn’t issue refunds for the wedding dress regardless of whatever mistakes are made on her end. - If ordering a dress, get her to put a physical date of when you will get the dress. I would never recommend this business to anyone. My dress did not come in until the 28th (the end of the day), which was 4 days before my wedding which is absolutely unacceptable and I had to find a last minute dress due to this. Lynn offered nothing, never tried to communicate or offer recourse such as fitting me into a dress in store and only offered a refund of the extra fabric and veil. I feel as I was lead to believe a lie. My aunt who so graciously paid for my wedding dress is now out the money of this dress.
